I stayed here recently. The atmosphere, service, and cuisine were all truly outstanding—just what you would expect from a classic Hotel. In the calm, historic setting, I was able to relax and enjoy a leisurely time. Each dish was delicious, and I was very satisfied until the very end. All of the staff were courteous, making my stay very comfortable. It’s a wonderful Hotel that I would definitely like to stay at again.

I had long wanted to visit Akazawa Guest House, and this time I was able to stay there with my son and his wife. The exterior is wonderful, but once inside, I was amazed to see platinum used throughout the walls and other details. It was a beautiful space with clear attention paid to every element. The pampas grass in the courtyard was especially memorable, and we were able to relax and enjoy a peaceful break from everyday life while feeling the charm of the season. Everything—the Room, the meals, and the atmosphere throughout the Accommodation—was of course excellent, but what stayed with me most was the warm hospitality of all the staff. My daughter-in-law is pregnant, and they kindly accommodated our requests in advance with great care. They prepared extra pillows in our Room and thoughtfully adjusted her meals as well, which we truly appreciated. In particular, the staff member who served our meals had such a lovely smile. Their service was both attentive and genuinely warm, which made us feel very at ease. The staff member who took photos for us also went beyond what we asked for, discreetly looking out for us so we could enjoy ourselves even more. Their thoughtfulness meant a lot to us. Of course it is an exceptional space with a sense of luxury, but even more than that, I felt that the detailed and heartfelt hospitality of everyone working there makes this Accommodation even more special. I am truly happy that we were able to spend such precious family time at Akazawa Guest House. On our way home, my son’s family and I said to each other, “Let’s come again.” Thank you very much for giving us such a memorable stay. We would love to visit again.

We visited as a family with our older children and their friends, along with our younger child. The older kids enjoyed SUP in the sea and the sauna, while the younger one fully enjoyed the pool. Since we had several boys with big appetites, we had a BBQ dinner using ingredients we brought with us. The seasonings and cooking utensils were well stocked, so we were able to prepare and enjoy our meal without any inconvenience. All of the staff were incredibly kind, and unlike many other places there weren’t lots of small rules or restrictions. They also kindly accommodated our requests, which made our stay very comfortable.\nThe amenities were high quality (including N organic), and the hair dryer and hair care items were all from ReFa, which my older daughter and I happily used.\nIn the morning we could even see Mt. Fuji across the sea—the views were simply amazing—and our whole family had a wonderful time. The only downside was that at bedtime, on both the first and second floors, the emergency exit signs were bright and a bit dazzling, making it slightly hard to sleep. Still, everything else was so great that we would definitely love to visit again. Thank you very much!

The expansive Roku in Takagamine, Kitayama, Kyoto is wonderfully quiet. In the summer of 2026, we decided to stay for three nights with my son’s family. My granddaughter loves the pool. What I was curious about was dinner. Since this spring, the chef and menu have changed. We left it to the chef, and truly enjoyed the rich flavors that come from thickness and texture—scallops, duck, sirloin, striped jack, pork confit, and more. The Kyoto vegetable sides were simple yet bold. We ordered signature cocktails. I chose “La Vie en Rose” just by its name—wondering what it would be like—and it surprised me in the best way. The other three of us each picked different ones as well, and we had a great time enjoying their vibrant colors and flavors. It will probably become one of our most unforgettable dinner memories of 2026. In the thermal pool, my grandchild happened to make a friend, and their dads joined in too—playing along like turtles giving rides to two kids with lots of enthusiasm. As for me, I exercised with backstroke while looking up at the sky and did some water walking. By the way, did you know that from the bath in your Room you can enjoy both the TV and views of Takagamine’s trees at the same time? The TV in the photo was showing a Major League Baseball game.

The staff were very kind, and the beach right in front was beautiful. Since it was my first time, I stayed at a different luxury hotel within the resort the next day. While it had a luxurious feel and was nice, I loved this beach so much that I came back here the following day. The weather was great, and I enjoyed wading into the sea up to my knees—it felt wonderful. Next time, I'll stay at this hotel for a multiple night stay! Having two bedrooms in the room along with a microwave and washing machine was very convenient. The bathtub is only available as an outdoor jacuzzi, so on windy or cold days it might be slightly inconvenient; however, overall my stay was comfortable. I joined the morning walk program where we had perfect weather and even got to enjoy an off-season private experience! The explanations about plants were fascinating, making it both fun and fulfilling. My child kept asking for quizzes repeatedly—thank you for your patience despite causing some trouble! Thank you also for taking us to Alamanda to feed turtles. Although it seemed quiet during off-season with fewer people around, there were surprisingly many children competing over turtle food during feeding time! Unfortunately, adults cannot participate in feeding activities if they go alone since food is not provided for them. This resort is enjoyable even without needing a car; however, having simple meals like rice balls (onigiri), sandwiches or light bento boxes available within the hotel or resort would be fantastic—especially something easy for kids to eat quickly! There are picnic-friendly spots in nearby parks where rice balls would have been perfect... It would be great if such options could be ordered from hotels or made more accessible somehow. Every day now I'm thinking about when I'll get another chance to visit Miyako Island again!

Although we stayed during the hot season, we were able to play in the river in front of the Hotel and had a great time. The water was clean and not too deep, and we were happy to see our dog enjoying it—it made us glad we came. We didn’t use it this time, but next time we’d like to have river-play photos taken. The meals also felt carefully prepared dish by dish. The salt-grilled ayu was delicious. At dinner, a female staff member was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was set up like a half-buffet system, and items that ran out were replenished promptly with attentive care. The bath water didn’t feel particularly like an Onsen, but the baths were spacious and relaxing. The open-air bath felt slightly hot. Given the times, it seems they are operating with a small team, but there were thoughtful touches such as a 24-hour self-checkout system at the shop and mops and small vacuums available in the changing area for guests to use. Since all guests had dogs with them, we could relax without worrying about others. We’d like to stay again during the autumn foliage season or when fireflies can be seen.

I visited with three friends. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food was also delicious, making it a wonderful memory. It was my first time visiting Wakasa, and I would love to come again.

After hiking in Odaigahara, I stayed here. The friendly, heartfelt hospitality from the staff and the silky-smooth Yakushi hot bath gently soothed my body after the hike.

I’ve stayed at various villas on Miyakojima, and this was a highly satisfying stay. The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the outstanding design throughout the entire space. Not only the building itself, but also the art and furniture placement were thoughtfully curated, making it comfortable to spend time here from start to finish. These days, many villas highlight ocean views, but this one offers a gajumaru (banyan tree) view. Personally, I’m tired of villas that rely solely on an ocean view while the interior feels like an ordinary house, so it was wonderful to feel the strong commitment to the quality of the space itself. It also felt rare to find an Accommodation like this on Miyakojima. Every angle looked great, and the atmosphere in person was far better than in photos. Judging by price alone, it may seem upscale, but once you stay here, you can truly feel that it’s worth the price. In fact, it made the difference from more budget-focused villas very clear. I’d love to stay again when I visit Miyakojima. Thank you very much.

My parents stayed here because they had been interested in it for a while. Since it was a weekday, it was fairly quiet and they were able to relax. They were also happy that other older guests were using the pool too, so they felt comfortable using it without hesitation, and they said the food was beautifully presented and delicious!

It was conveniently located with easy access to Kumano Hongu Taisha. The Accommodation was new and comfortable, and the meals featured dishes inspired by Wakayama—there’s no other way to describe it than pure happiness. Being soothed by nature and the Onsen made this an amazing trip. I’ll definitely come back! If I had to mention one thing, could you consider setting time limits for the lounge? I could hear people staying there for long periods chatting, and since I couldn’t use it, that was a little disappointing.

We have stayed here many times, but this was our first time reserving a cottage. Late at night, a large spider appeared, and I became too frightened to feel comfortable staying there, so I spoke with the front desk. The staff were very kind and gladly changed us to an in-house Room. We are deeply grateful for their thoughtful support. Thank you very much.

Although there was an issue upon arrival, the Facility staff responded promptly and were very helpful. I would love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

I originally made a Reservation for four nights, but due to the typhoon, we shortened our stay. Since it was a last-minute schedule change, there may have been food left in the refrigerator, and we may have caused some inconvenience for housekeeping. The Reservation center staff kindly accommodated the sudden change, and their warm support was very reassuring during an uncertain time. As for the Room, it was spacious and very comfortable, with everything provided—such as a hair dryer, amenities, and kitchenware. It was also nice to be able to enjoy the drinks in the refrigerator right after arrival. One note: each time we used the washing machine, an “C09” error appeared. After checking online, it seemed related to the lid sensor; by opening and closing it again we were able to use it. I’m sharing this just in case for future guests. I also would have liked more time to try the ReFa hair dryer and the Mirable shower. We would love to stay again on our next visit.

Although we arrived much later than our scheduled check-in time, the staff kindly assisted us without any sign of displeasure. We are truly grateful. The three of us stayed, and the price per person was very affordable. Despite the low cost, it was a comfortable and wonderful Accommodation. We would definitely like to stay again next time. Yukata were provided. If possible, I would have appreciated having loungewear in the Room as well. Breakfast was very disappointing, as most items seemed to be frozen foods that were simply reheated. The rice, however, was cooked in a pot and was very delicious. The staff member on the floor had a pleasant smile.

I was very satisfied with the meal selection and timing, as well as the attentive service from the staff during meals. The Room also offered a lovely view of the green mountains, and best of all, it was quiet with no hustle and bustle, so I could truly relax. The bath was a bit far and required walking across floors; since this stay was in summer it was fine, but if I have the chance to stay in winter, I think it would be nice to have a long-sleeved jacket to wear over the yukata. Both dinner and breakfast were light yet satisfying, and every dish was delicious. In the morning there was complimentary coffee, which was perfect for a relaxing moment before departure. I would like to stay again when traveling in Chiba. Thank you very much.

We stayed at Horizon and used the indoor pool and buffet, and everything was excellent. The view from our Room was beautiful, and we were truly moved by the sunrise over the ocean. The location is great, so the views from outside the Room were also stunning, and the interior design of the building was lovely—it was fun taking photos throughout. The Accommodation is spacious, so getting around took a bit of effort, but there were welcome drinks and other events along the way, which made moving around enjoyable. The food was delicious, with a great selection of kids’ options as well, so our whole family had a wonderful time.

We visited Kamogawa Sea World for my daughter’s birthday and stayed at this Hotel for one night. We were looking forward to the dinner and breakfast buffets, and they were more luxurious than we imagined—we enjoyed plenty of sashimi and sushi. The sea bream kamameshi was so delicious I wanted a second serving. My daughter was very satisfied too, as she could eat lots of her favorite dishes. The breakfast croissants were also tasty. From our Room we had a panoramic view of the ocean, and the sound of the waves was soothing. The Onsen we enjoyed together left our skin smooth and felt wonderful. After returning home, my daughter and I talked about wanting to stay again.

We stayed in a Japanese-style room in the East Wing. We had dinner with the Omi beef buffet course. The Omi beef sukiyaki was tender, nicely marbled without being too fatty, and very delicious. Since the property is set in nature, the view from the window was wonderful, with a panoramic view of Lake Biwa.
