We stayed during the latter half of Silver Week. The weather was great on the first day, so the views were beautiful and we were very satisfied. It really is better when the grape leaves are still on the vines! We arrived at CAVE D’OCCI before noon, completed check-in, and had lunch at a nearby café. We ordered a pasta set—just the right portion and delicious. After that, we joined a private winery tour, which ended with a wine tasting. Everything was so good that we bought 12 bottles of wine! Since there was still time before dinner, we went to an Onsen Facility about a 3-minute walk away and relaxed. Back at the Hotel, there was complimentary white wine during happy hour. From 5:30 p.m., dinner was served with wine pairing. The food was excellent, and the wines were great as well. Since only CAVE D’OCCI wines are offered, there are no full-bodied options, so preferences may vary. Breakfast was also delicious—the tomato juice is outstanding!

It was a wonderful Room with exceptional hospitality. The Room felt very clean, and when the morning sun shines through the turquoise-blue curtains, it creates a dreamy atmosphere. The interior is based on white tones and has great taste. Small items and amenities such as mugs and towels were stylish, and the space—with a coffee maker, toaster, and sofa—was beautifully designed. The complimentary snacks they had prepared were also a thoughtful touch. We booked the breakfast plan, and the ingredients included items from a local bakery, plus high-quality eggs and bacon. There are stylish cafés just a few minutes’ walk away, so it seems you could also enjoy lunch or dinner there. The location is excellent—you can walk straight from the Room to the beach, which is very convenient. They also provide beach sandals, floats, and bodyboards, so as long as you bring your swimsuit you’re all set for activities. A nearby convenience store sells goggles and fishing gear too, so it feels like you could come with almost nothing. After getting out of the ocean, you can go straight to the jacuzzi or the Goemon-style bath (cauldron bath), which was another great convenience. We rented the BBQ equipment; the stylish grill was easy to use, and even though it’s outdoors under a roofed area, it was more comfortable than expected. The bed linens—including sheets and duvet—were clean with crisp freshness, and the mattress was fluffy; we slept very comfortably. The staff provided polite service with quick and efficient responses. Above all else, the view from the Room is outstanding. The color of the sea is beautiful. It was only a one-night stay in this Accommodation, but we regretted not staying two nights—it was that satisfying. I’d love to recommend it to everyone… though part of me wants to keep it secret. To all staff members: thank you for such a wonderful time.

We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. Our group of 10 family members across three households stayed here. The Facility and amenities were well equipped, and the children especially spent all their time playing in the pool and jacuzzi. Everyone was very satisfied, and we had a wonderful time. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

From arrival by car to departure, we had a very pleasant stay. All the staff were cheerful and very kind, and the meals were excellent. When we left by car, it was especially memorable that they kept waving until we were out of sight. We would definitely like to stay again.

The location is simply outstanding. From anywhere on the property, I could see Mt. Bandai beyond Yairoku Pond, and I was moved again and again. In addition, the service, dinner and breakfast, open-air bath, cleanliness, and the lounge’s ease of use were all excellent and comfortable. I’m glad I chose Urabandai Kogen Hotel for my commemorative trip. The nature that changes with each season must be wonderful as well, so next time I’d love to visit in a different season. I had a Multiple Night Stay, and to be honest, it exceeded my expectations. Although I couldn't see Mount Fuji from the Room I stayed in, I enjoyed a blissful time on the beautiful garden terrace where the day seemed to pass by in an instant. The medicinal stone bath was incredibly relaxing; after just one soak, my body felt thoroughly warmed to the core. By the second time, I even started looking forward to the bath preparation process itself. The Room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. During my stay, housekeeping cleaned while I was out for the day during my Multiple Night Stay. Returning to such a spotless Room felt like coming back to a brand-new space—it was truly impressive! The staff were kind and greeted me warmly every time we crossed paths, making my stay all the more pleasant. When visiting Lake Kawaguchi again, I will definitely return to Hana no Yado Yumefuji! We had a wonderful time in a very clean room with excellent facilities. The meal was also delicious—a meat-themed kaiseki course that felt refreshingly different from typical ryokan cuisine. The location, in the Higashiyama area, was another highlight, making it easy to explore around Kiyomizu-dera in the morning.

We stayed in a Room with a private Onsen. We also used the large public bath, and since there are only a few Rooms, we were able to enjoy it privately. I couldn’t tell the difference between the two hot spring sources, but the water was soft and the temperature was just right. In any case, the garden is wonderful. Although Tendo Onsen is located in town, it’s in a calm setting where you can hear cicadas. And the food is outstanding—no typical “just to increase the number of dishes” meals; instead, you can enjoy local and seasonal ingredients prepared with care and served with refined flavors. They also have an excellent selection of Dewazakura sake. I stay at various Accommodations for work, and among those that fit our budget and lifestyle, this is one of the very best. We’d love to stay again.

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

This is my favorite Accommodation: the well-maintained interior always helps me feel refreshed both body and mind in the Room’s open-air bath, and I can enjoy a French course dinner in casual attire. I will definitely stay again.

The meals were beautifully presented, and everything tasted truly delicious. They were a delight to look at as well, and you could feel the care put into each dish. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned, and we were able to spend our time comfortably. The staff kindly answered our questions, which helped us learn about the origins of Kaminoyama Onsen and plan our sightseeing. My spouse loved it too and said we would like to stay again for the meals. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay and it was a wonderful time.

The room was very nice, and the spa and view were excellent.

My spouse and I stayed on June 19. The building was old, but it was well maintained, and the courtyard after the rain in the morning was lovely. All of the meals were delicious, and we both finished everything. The staff were also very pleasant. We were able to visit Amanohashidate, which we had wanted to see for a long time, and fully enjoy Kyoto by the Sea. Thank you very much.

The amenities, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, meals, and attentiveness—everything was perfect. We had a truly comfortable stay. If I had to mention one thing, I only wish there were a few more non-alcoholic options on the menu. This has become one of the places we’d love to return to.

The calm atmosphere made it very relaxing. We especially enjoyed our meals at a leisurely pace. The private open-air bath was also great for unwinding, though the distance to the washing area is something to consider. We also enjoyed watching the Morioka Sansa Odori dance after being shown around.

All the staff had wonderful smiles, the art-filled space was relaxing, and the food was excellent—our child was smiling the whole time. We thought it would be even better if children could stay together in a wider variety of Rooms. It became a great summer memory.

Once again, I was very satisfied with the cuisine, the Room, and the service, and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Dinner in particular was excellent and truly outstanding, including the salt-grilled ayu we ordered separately. One request: drinks in the lobby lounge end at 7:00 PM, but it would be appreciated if guests could have a drink after dinner, so I would be grateful if you could consider staying open until around 9:00 PM. In any case, I would like to visit again in a different season and look forward to enjoying your delicious food and sake. Thank you for your hospitality.

I loved everything—the location of the Accommodation, the beautiful and calming interior, the spacious and impeccably clean Room with a semi-open-air bath, and the lush Japanese-style garden full of greenery. We chose the “Izu Seasonal Kaiseki” Plan, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding in quality and generous in portion size. The free-flowing Onsen water could be enjoyed at our leisure in the private open-air bath, the large public bath, and in our Room. The Onsen water—said to be 120°C just five minutes earlier—was carefully temperature-controlled so it reached the tub at a perfect temperature: neither too hot nor too lukewarm. I also appreciated the thoughtful services such as matcha tea and traditional sweets at check-in, a pot of iced water delivered to the Room during dinner, and sherbet or coffee served in the lobby after bathing—but above all, what impressed me most was the attentive hospitality of every staff member. With unstable weather and days of rain leading up to our stay—and rain forecast for our dates—I was worried at first. Fortunately, we had good weather for both days we were there, and staying at such a wonderful Accommodation with such high service standards made this trip truly relaxing. Thank you very much. Of course I would love to return here again, and I also feel like visiting “Izu Kawazu-hama Isoaruki no Yuyado Shiogumo” and “Omuro no Mori Gyokusui.”

We stayed for three nights as a couple in our 60s. We made full use of the affiliated Renaissance Okinawa Resort. Breakfast at Coco Garden Resort was also excellent. It was a bit disappointing that there are no restaurants within walking distance from the hotel for dinner, but we had no trouble since it’s only a 10–15 minute drive to izakayas in Onna Village. There were also services that could be booked for a designated driver, so we were able to enjoy drinks without worry. We would love to stay again.
