After staying here with my husband in July, we came back again so soon! We had a relaxing 2-night, 3-day stay. We stayed in a different Room this time, which felt fresh and new. The living room, Japanese-style room, and bedroom were all truly spacious and spotless—everything was so well maintained. Of course there are some fallen leaves from the trees, but the location is so wonderful that it didn’t bother us at all. My husband had apparently ordered champagne in advance, and it was perfectly chilled and waiting in our Room—we were thrilled!!! There were plenty of towels provided, and they kindly accommodated extra requests as well, so we enjoyed the sauna, pool, jacuzzi, and Onsen over and over again. We’re always grateful for the butler’s thoughtful care—this is truly the No.1 Accommodation for hospitality! We’ll definitely be back!

This is an inn I had wanted to stay at for a long time. As many reviews mentioned, the Italian dinner was outstanding from start to dessert, and truly impressed me. The in-room hot spring was at the perfect temperature, and I thoroughly enjoyed it while gazing at the sea, listening to insects at night, and again in the fresh morning air. I would love to stay here again.

We stayed for three nights as a couple in our 60s. We made full use of the affiliated Renaissance Okinawa Resort. Breakfast at Coco Garden Resort was also excellent. It was a bit disappointing that there are no restaurants within walking distance from the hotel for dinner, but we had no trouble since it’s only a 10–15 minute drive to izakayas in Onna Village. There were also services that could be booked for a designated driver, so we were able to enjoy drinks without worry. We would love to stay again.

This was my third stay. Compared to before, the hospitality around the front desk had improved even more. Thank you for your thoughtful care. This time, I tried lunch at the 1F restaurant “P72” for the first time, and I was very satisfied with the comfortable atmosphere and service, as well as the beautifully presented and delicious dishes. Breakfast was outstanding as always. I was able to relax and fully enjoy my time in my Room. I look forward to visiting again.

I stayed here with my family in July, and this time I came with friends. My friend, visiting Amami for the first time, was truly impressed by the Amami-blue sea, the delicious meals, and the heartfelt hospitality of all the staff. As I leave, I always say “I’ll be back,” and it really makes me want to return again. The beautiful ocean right in front of us, breakfast and dinner that were both completely satisfying, a comfortable Room, and the thoughtful care from everyone on staff—I’m truly grateful. We will visit again next summer.

The seafood-based French cuisine that makes the most of Awaji Island’s bounty was delicious. We also appreciated the pairing suggestions for those of us who can’t drink much—truly what you’d expect from an auberge. All the staff were kind and welcoming, which was wonderful. The view of the Seto Inland Sea from the terrace and the sea breeze you feel across your whole body are truly soothing. There is no Onsen, and we wished the pool were a bit larger, but that’s not something easily changed. If we had to mention one thing, we would be happy if there could be a bit more space between tables at dinner, or if other tables were less in our line of sight. Even so, despite it being high season, both my husband and I had a very pleasant stay. We would love to visit again.

This villa resort was a place I had always wanted to stay at, and this summer my wish finally came true.\nAs soon as we parked, the staff greeted us by name before we even introduced ourselves.\nWe completed check-in while enjoying a welcome drink and fruit, then headed to our Room.\nSeeing the view in person—one I had only seen in photos—was truly moving.\nBoth the BBQ dinner and breakfast were excellent.\nSince this trip also celebrated my partner’s new job, I emailed to request a surprise dessert plate, and I’m very grateful for their thoughtful assistance.\nI’m so glad we stayed here—it became a once-in-a-lifetime memory.\nI hope to return again someday if I have the chance.

I chose this Accommodation for my boyfriend, who loves saunas. I don’t know much about saunas, but he seemed completely satisfied and kept saying, “The best! The best!”—which made me happy too. Relaxing while listening to the natural soundtrack of the gorge and flowing river was wonderful. We said goodbye to the Accommodation, promising to come back again.

During Silver Week, my family of four stayed for four nights in a Grand Premier Floor Room. The view from the top floor was truly breathtaking, and the blue ocean was so soothing. Every day we went snorkeling and swam with sea turtles, and with delicious meals as well, it was a very satisfying trip. The dining options were also excellent, including a wonderful new Italian restaurant and a Japanese-Ryukyu fusion restaurant. It’s the kind of place that makes you think, “This is where we’ll stay again” when visiting Miyakojima.

It’s been a long time since I felt this kind of excitement. I was truly fulfilled by the meticulous, sophisticated design—much like how I felt when staying at Le Royal Monceau in Paris. The service struck the perfect balance, and the high-quality, distinctive room atmosphere and design made it genuinely relaxing.\nBeyond the guest room, the large rooftop jacuzzi we used at night was wonderful, and the garden beside the first-floor restaurant—with its towering palm tree—was also superb. It’s impressive to see it maintained to this level.\nEven after about 20 years, this standard is remarkable. This is exactly what people mean by a Hotel you’ll want to return to. My sincere thanks to all the staff who must work hard every day to keep everything so well maintained.

We had planned to stay before the Obon holidays, but a typhoon was approaching, so we exchanged emails with the staff several times. The staff were very polite and helpful, and thanks to them we were able to change our dates smoothly. It was a 3-night, 4-day stay, and we were very satisfied with the welcome drink upon arrival and the thorough explanation from the staff. The Room was clean, and the amenities—including complimentary bath salts and bath bombs—were wonderful. We had seen in a Review that breakfast involved waiting, but since we entered the breakfast venue right when it opened at 7:00, it wasn’t an issue at all. Both the Japanese and Western options were delicious, with fresh local vegetables included. We definitely want to return! Because it’s in a nature-rich area, I wouldn’t recommend it for those who dislike insects. In our case, my husband grew up in the countryside and was delighted whenever he spotted big frogs, spiders, or grasshoppers on the Facility grounds.

We stayed on the last day of Silver Week with my son. It was a stay to celebrate him, and when we entered the Room, we found a thoughtful gesture from the Hotel, which truly moved him. Every member of the Hotel staff greeted us with warm smiles and professional service, and we could feel the tradition of this long-established Hotel that represents our country. The view from the Room was also wonderful—Osaka Castle spread out right before us—and simply staying there felt like an extraordinary escape. On our way home, my son seemed to have really fallen in love with New Otani as well. We sincerely appreciate the service and stay that exceeded the price. Thank you very much.

The two of us stayed in a villa-type room. Because there were few guests, it felt very private, and we were able to enjoy a quiet stay. The private beach was well equipped with parasols and beach beds, and we saw lots of fish while snorkeling. We also used the sauna, and with the pool right in front of us, we were extremely satisfied!

Unfortunately, we had a thunderstorm on the day of our stay, but we truly appreciated your nighttime safety check and your thoughtful gesture the next day. We were able to fully enjoy the pool and sauna. We were very satisfied! The Room was very clean, and our family enjoyed watching a movie on the projector. We want to come every year! Thank you again, and we look forward to staying with you again.

We stayed in the Nagi Suite for a special milestone trip. The room was not only spacious, but beautifully designed with natural light and shadow, the textures of wood and stone, and a sense of harmony with the surrounding landscape. Simply spending quiet time in the room felt like an experience in itself. The sunset cruise around Ago Bay was also unforgettable—calm waters, scattered islands, and ever-changing light. More than anything, what stayed with us most was the warm atmosphere created by the staff and their heartfelt hospitality. Everyone we met was gentle and pleasant, and their smiles and greetings felt genuinely warm rather than formal. They watched over us discreetly, anticipated what we might need at just the right moments, and kept a comfortable distance when we were relaxing. This thoughtful attention reached every part of our stay. We were also impressed by how carefully information was shared among staff members even when responsibilities or locations changed—it truly felt like everyone shared the same spirit of hospitality. We are deeply grateful as well for the sincere celebration of our milestone. Not only the beautiful property and magnificent nature, but also the kindness and warmth of those who work there made our time at Amanemu truly one of a kind. It has become one of our most memorable stays to date. We hope to return to this peaceful place again someday.

We usually travel as a couple a few times a year, mainly to Hakone, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryū” for our first family trip, including several celebrations. We have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, but we have never encountered one as wonderful as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour before check-in time, yet we were warmly welcomed without hesitation. From the lovely commemorative photos for our celebration to the heartfelt message card with a photo, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are genuinely grateful to have made so many unforgettable memories for our family trip. Thank you very much. Above all, what deserves special mention is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was outstanding, and we were able to spend a truly relaxing time. Our assigned staff member was incredibly kind and always smiling; we enjoyed chatting with them, and our whole family was impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details. The guidance around the property—like a paradise far removed from everyday life—was also thorough and considerate, and everyone we met greeted us with warm smiles that put us at ease. The Room was very spacious and kept beautifully clean. The bed was also ideal for us—comfortable without sinking in or feeling overly soft. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations; I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, there was a private open-air Onsen bath exclusively for our Room with free-flowing water from 100% natural source spring water—no added water or heating—from the rare Dogashima Onsen source said to be “legendary,” so we could enjoy an Onsen soak anytime we liked. In addition, there is an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, which allowed our family to enjoy many different experiences together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care and full of creative ideas from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand—the service felt perfect. In my experience so far, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive in every respect. More than anything else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryū” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again.

When I mentioned in advance that we would be staying to celebrate a birthday, they prepared balloons and a congratulatory message in our Room, which truly moved us. They also kindly offered complimentary use of the private bath, so we were able to enjoy a very relaxing bathing time. We were also happy to receive a dessert plate at dinner. For the children, there was a fireworks set, a cute amenities set, gifts for answering quiz questions, and festival-style activities such as target shooting and string-pulling games. There was also self-serve shaved ice where you could adjust the portion size yourself, which was great. At the pool, there were free self-serve rentals of float rings and water guns as well, so we had a lot of fun. There was so much to enjoy that our child was absolutely delighted. We chose the breakfast and dinner buffet options. At dinner there was a live kitchen with hand-rolled sushi and steak (I think), and everything was very delicious. The value for money felt unbelievably good. We went right when service started, so it was probably mostly Japanese guests at first and only moderately busy; however, it gradually became more crowded as more international guests arrived. I think going earlier is more comfortable. The sea bream and tuna sushi were outstanding, and there were also sashimi offerings separately—since we are a family that loves seafood, we really appreciated it. If I had to mention areas for improvement: There was dust under the beds in our Room. Our child playfully reached under the bed and came out covered in dust, which was disappointing. Also (though this may be unavoidable due to the layout), the pool is not connected directly to the large public bath area; you have to move through indoor corridors within the building. After using the pool you need to change clothes before heading to the public bath area, which felt inconvenient—especially for families with children who likely want to bathe after swimming. Because coin laundry is free (and perhaps due to seasonal demand), there can be long waits. A notice said that if someone’s laundry cycle has finished, other guests may move it into a basket—but guests who hadn’t read it seemed startled that someone had moved their items without permission. I understood because I saw the notice myself, but it still didn’t feel great; I wondered if there might be another solution. Since it’s summer and free of charge—and everyone wants to use it—it may simply be inevitable. Overall, we were very satisfied. The value for money was so good that it almost made me wonder if everything was really okay! Thank you very much!

It was my first visit in a while, and once again I had a very comfortable stay. At meals, you kindly accommodated ingredients I need to avoid for health reasons by removing them or substituting alternatives. I’m sure it was extra trouble, but the food was truly delicious. I also really enjoyed chatting with the staff. As last time, the service left a lasting impression. I would love to visit again.

Unfortunately, it rained, but we still had a wonderful stay. We stayed with a young elementary school child, and they were thrilled with the second-floor loft! They enjoyed it like a secret hideout. They also loved the handicraft experience, but since the daily Reservation slots seem quite limited, booking in advance is recommended. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied with the meals. One thing that personally impressed me was the Room bathroom. It had automatic hot-water filling and reheating functions, which felt rare for a cottage. It was quietly appreciated when traveling with kids (haha).

We stayed as a family, and it far exceeded our expectations—one of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve had in Japan. During our stay, when our child suddenly developed a fever, the staff responded quickly with flexible, warm, and attentive care. Thanks to their heartfelt support, we were able to relax and stay comfortable with peace of mind. We are truly grateful. The cuisine was outstanding—light and gentle on the body while fully bringing out the natural flavors of each ingredient. We have visited well-regarded food-focused inns such as renowned auberges on Yakushima, and this delivered an equally satisfying experience. In fact, it was so impressive that it even outshone the prestigious resort we visited the day before—the one known for its lion crest. We booked an entry-level room, but it was more than spacious enough and very comfortable thanks to its refined layout with no wasted space. The ocean-view jacuzzi on the terrace in particular felt wonderfully open and relaxing. (Please note: the sea directly in front of the hotel is not a location where you can simply walk in and swim/play right away, so those planning a trip centered around beach activities may want to keep this in mind.) We regularly visit many different styles of resorts both in Japan and abroad, but one night here felt far too short. It’s a place that makes us want to return every year—and ideally stay for several nights at a leisurely pace. When we visit Okinawa again, we will definitely return.
