This was our last trip of the year. We were fully satisfied with this Ryokan in every way—the cuisine, the Onsen, and the kind hospitality of the staff. There was only one small issue, but it was addressed promptly. We would like to continue coming here in the future.

I visit Kyoto every year for the Gion Festival’s Yoiyama, and I stayed here again this time as well. I was able to relax in a quiet, calm atmosphere. At the breakfast venue, there was live flute music—I never expected to hear “Morning Mood” from Peer Gynt. My wife says she won’t stay anywhere other than your Hotel. We’re planning to visit Kyoto again in December, and instead of a day trip, we’re considering staying at your Hotel.

The title may be a bit over the top, but this is my absolute favorite place—one that needs no introduction. Because of 1899, I can truly rest and then return to everyday life feeling ready to do my best again. This time, I enjoyed matcha every day and felt peacefully fulfilled. I’m also always excited that the breakfast selection has grown even more. It warmed my heart to know the front desk staff remembered me—I was truly happy. Thank you very much. I’m looking forward to the Autumn Rest Plan. I’ll be back again, and I appreciate your continued support.

Conveniently located near Susukino Station with excellent access, and right next to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, which features restaurants, drugstores, and many convenience stores. During my 2-night stay, I enjoyed the Onsen with an open-air bath that helped relax my tired feet and body after walking around. I also requested an in-room massage, and they were very flexible with the schedule and menu options—it was truly rejuvenating. I would love to stay here again!

Although it’s a Business Hotel, it felt like a city hotel and was very comfortable. I had breakfast at the first-floor restaurant. The selection and flavors were just right, and I was satisfied.

My daughter and I stayed for a two-night stay in a Club Junior Suite. I had seen some Reviews saying the staff were not very helpful, but that wasn’t the case at all—everyone was attentive and courteous. The Club Floor lounge was especially wonderful. During cocktail time, we enjoyed drinks and delicious snacks together while taking in the night view—my daughter has just turned 20, so it was a special moment for us. It was also great that the property is connected to the Onsen Facility “Ren.” We used it on the first night and again on the morning of our third day, and we were very satisfied. We hadn’t added breakfast, but we had a breakfast rice porridge set at one of Ren’s restaurants, then fully enjoyed a morning bath. The powder room was well equipped with ReFa and YA-MAN hair dryers as well as hair irons, so there was no inconvenience. This trip was by JR, so with large luggage it felt like a bit of a walk from the station (and we got slightly lost), but we truly had a wonderful trip. If I have another chance to visit Osaka, I would definitely like to stay again. One small thing I noticed: while spending time in the Room, there would be fairly loud popping or clicking sounds coming from near the window about once every 5–10 minutes. Since it’s on the 27th floor, I wondered if it might be related to air pressure or something similar—but it remained a mystery throughout our stay.

The Room was spacious and had a great ocean view. The meals were served in just the right portions, and every fish dish was delicious. Breakfast venues are often crowded, but here there was plenty of space, so we could dine comfortably in a relaxed, calm atmosphere. We would love to stay again.

This was my third stay. It was my first time visiting in summer, and the lush greenery outside the window was very soothing. There are many international staff members, but everyone works hard and it never feels out of place. This time, I ordered cake and coffee to go from the café lounge, and I really appreciated how a Japanese staff member carefully packed the cup in the cake box so it wouldn’t tip over—such thoughtful attention to detail. I’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

I treated myself to a two-night stay, and the Room was spacious, clean, and very relaxing. Just lying on the bed and looking at the view outside felt truly luxurious. The terrace lounge on the 17th floor was also amazing. It was conveniently within walking distance of Kokusai-dori.

It was great that there were saunas for both men and women! We could play table tennis for free too, and my spouse and I had a lot of fun!! We received one free cup ramen per person, one ice cream after the bath, plus candy and Umaibo snacks! These little perks honestly made us so happy!!! They also had toner, moisturizer, and makeup remover. After the bath, we could drink free tea and lemon water as well—it was wonderful! We’d love to stay again!

This time I was traveling from Tottori and Shimane to Fukuoka. Since I needed to get to Itami Airport early the next morning, I searched for a place where I could take a short nap and found this property. I arrived at 23:30 and left just before 5:00 the next day, so my stay was brief—just a shower and a little sleep— but the front desk staff were very kind, and I was very satisfied with the amenities. Also, the bus stop was right nearby, which was extremely helpful. If I have another chance, I’d like to stay longer next time. Thank you very much.

Perhaps the timing was right, and I was able to stay at a very good rate. Because of that, even though it was a bit far from the station, it didn’t bother me at all at this price. The Room was clean, there were no noise issues, and I had a peaceful stay. I also appreciated the complimentary selection of several types of tea. If the conditions are similar, I would like to stay again next time.

August 6 is the day for a collective visit to our family grave in Kyoto, and I have stayed here for the past three years. The location is convenient (I travel to Kyoto by Hankyu Railway from Osaka Itami Airport), the price is reasonable, and there is a large public bath where I can relax. I’m also happy that it seems there are more Western-style options on the breakfast menu. I plan to stay here again next year as well.

On short notice, I booked a same-day stay with No Meals Included. After making the Reservation, I immediately received an email with dining information, even though this Accommodation is originally No Meals Included. I was able to book breakfast and dinner smoothly at restaurants in the Onsen town and for breakfast at a Hotel. It seems many other hotels also encourage guests to stay without meals and dine out in the Onsen town, likely to help revitalize the area. The Hotel has a self-cooking space that appears to have once been a bar counter, equipped with an IH cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, seasonings, tableware, frying pans, and pots—so you can cook for yourself and even make breakfast. There was also a convenience store nearby, and Costco is about 20 minutes away. The Room had been renovated and was clean—a typical standard Japanese-style room. The futon was fluffy as well. The Hotel’s Onsen was a milky white cloudy spring. The included pass for visiting seven other hotels’ Onsens was great fun; every bath I tried had the same cloudy water—absolutely wonderful. With such reasonable rates, I’d like to come back for a Multiple Night Stay and enjoy onsen-hopping at a relaxed pace. Zao Onsen in Yamagata is truly irresistible for onsen lovers.

Free Shuttle Service is available from Kawaguchiko Station. (Pickup requires a Reservation in advance; drop-off can be reserved at check-in.) Both the exterior and interior show their age, but the Room and other areas are well cleaned and kept tidy. The sink felt a bit dated. The Room key was delightfully nostalgic (laughs). I didn’t use the outdoor bath, so I can’t comment on it, but the Room I stayed in had a shower only. It seemed newly renovated and was very clean. (The provided shampoos include both DHC and Ichikami!) Lotion, emulsion, and makeup remover were POLA amenities. I ordered both dinner and breakfast; the portions were generous and everything was delicious! I really appreciated that it wasn’t buffet-style. Hot dishes were served hot. There is a laundry area; detergent costs 100 yen, but the drum washing machines are free to use! (There are two machines.) The staff’s service was excellent! So it felt more like a Ryokan than a Hotel. Thank you very much for your hospitality during my stay!

Thanks to the young female staff member at the front desk who kindly gave us detailed directions to the surrounding roads, we were able to enjoy sightseeing in Hakone without any trouble. We could also see Mt. Fuji from our Room, and the Onsen was very relaxing. We would love to stay again.

The all-inclusive plan was very satisfying for families with children. I personally felt nostalgic about the little crunchy ice treats—they reminded me of my childhood, and they were really delicious! The Room was spacious and beautifully renovated, so it felt very clean. The building itself is probably older, so the unit bathroom was extremely small, but it wasn’t an issue since we could use the large public bath. The kids’ area was spacious and really helpful. We planned to use the pool, but it wasn’t open due to unexpectedly low temperatures and weather—this is my only regret. The food was delicious, and they didn’t strictly enforce time limits, so even while juggling our child we were able to eat plenty for the first time in a while. (My recommendations are the kanpyo with wasabi at breakfast and the simmered yuba at dinner.) Our 1-year-and-10-month-old son also seemed to enjoy his first Hotel stay—he was all smiles. (The surprise stuffed toy that came with our Room was adorable; he wouldn’t let go of it, and it made me happy too.) We will definitely come again! Thank you very much!

My wife and I stayed here together. The Room was spacious and clean, and we were able to relax comfortably. Even after walking around sightseeing all day, we could unwind properly in the calm atmosphere, and we were very satisfied. What especially stood out was the complimentary lounge available to guests. Not only could we enjoy free draft Sapporo beer, but there were also light snacks provided—it was so well stocked that we couldn’t believe it was free. It really felt like Sapporo and greatly enhanced our stay. It was also very convenient that there was a place to store luggage such as suitcases. We could sightsee hands-free even after checkout, so we were able to enjoy the city of Sapporo right up until it was time to leave. On the other hand, the only disappointing point was the showerhead. The water pressure in normal mode was too low and a bit difficult to use, but when switched to massage mode it became too strong, so there wasn’t a comfortable setting in between. If it were up to me, I would replace the showerhead without hesitation. For example, switching to something like the “SANEI Ultra Fine Bubble Shower Head mitos,” which can be purchased for around 10,000 yen, might significantly improve guest satisfaction. That said, aside from the shower everything else exceeded expectations. The complimentary lounge and luggage storage are thoughtful services that guests truly appreciate. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay, and it was also an excellent base for exploring Sapporo. I hope the showerhead will be improved, but even so, I would like to stay here again next time I visit Sapporo.

I stayed at your Accommodation in Kinosaki before, and this time I stayed in Shirahama. The Room was spacious, and the children were very happy. At dinner, a staff member kindly offered to take a family photo for us, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity.

We chose Kawayu Onsen as a place to stay while traveling from Abashiri to Lake Akan, and it turned out to be absolutely the right choice. The location is especially great. Until we stayed here, I didn’t realize Mount Io was this close, but after checkout we arrived there in just a few minutes by car. Since Abashiri and Lake Akan are quite far apart, I highly recommend an itinerary that includes one night in Kawayu Onsen along the way. We were also very satisfied with the Onsen. When I used the open-air bath, there happened to be no one else there, so I could relax and enjoy it at my own pace. The atmosphere of the open-air bath with its large rocks was wonderful as well. What exceeded my expectations most this time was the dinner buffet. There was an amazing variety of dishes, and I especially enjoyed plenty of crab legs (lol). Starting with “Mount Io Steamed,” inspired by Mount Io, there were many distinctive Hokkaido-style dishes. The red-fleshed melon and milk soft-serve ice cream were also delicious and memorable. The food was replenished properly throughout, so overall we were extremely satisfied with the meal. That said, for us the dinner time slot felt a bit short. It looked like there were enough seats available, so we would have been even happier with a schedule that allowed more time to enjoy dinner at a relaxed pace. Even so—considering the quality, variety, and replenishment—I’d still give dinner full marks. On the other hand, we found the lounge a little disappointing. There was a wide selection of alcohol and many guests seemed to enjoy it, but since I don’t drink alcohol I didn’t have many opportunities to use it. When I stopped by at night, most of the snacks and light bites were already gone and hadn’t been refilled; it would be great if there were more sweets and light snacks available for non-drinkers too. The guest room was spacious; while parts of the building do feel somewhat dated, everything around the bed area was arranged in a practical way—and being able to charge devices right by the pillow was convenient. The Hotel itself is large as well, and shared spaces like the lobby feel open and airy. Outside the Hotel there are also small spots where you can take in an Onsen-town atmosphere on foot. This time we only took photos, but if you have extra time it could be nice for a stroll—though since majestic Mount Io is so close by, I definitely recommend visiting that too.
