We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and thanks to the wonderful hospitality, it was truly a great trip! Everything was spotless, the bath was very relaxing, and everyone’s thoughtful care was exceptional—we would love to stay again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience.

The Room was spacious and well equipped with amenities—truly a first-class Hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and very satisfying. Perks included complimentary drinks in the refrigerator and access to the lounge. Late check-out was extended from 11:00 to 12:00, so we were able to relax and take our time. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay. The Facility is new and spotless, and the bathroom and bathtub are properly spacious. The Room layout is also well designed—the door isn’t directly visible from the desk, so I could work calmly. Breakfast was high quality too, and the meat soup was delicious! They also served excellent fruit, and at this price with breakfast included, I’m very satisfied. It’s a Business Hotel that could easily feel impersonal, but I discovered some great books at the library café at night, and the staff’s posted recommendations for local restaurants felt warm and welcoming. I often stay at Hotels that cost JPY 20,000–30,000 per night, but this place is more than good enough.

Thank you very much for taking such wonderful care of us. This was a truly top-tier Accommodation that exceeded all expectations. I understand you are now in your 18th generation—when it comes to Onsen Accommodations, nothing compares to a long-established inn. Of course, both the large public bath and the in-Room bath are fed directly from the source with free-flowing spring water. The staff were exceptionally attentive—so much so that we almost felt apologetic for receiving such kindness. Above all, the dining was outstanding, far beyond anything we had imagined. The tableware was also beautiful throughout, including pieces inspired by Rosanjin’s works, making each meal a delight not only for the palate but also for the eyes. The Kaga cuisine was delicately seasoned yet deeply flavorful. Everything was immaculately cleaned, and the view from the window was truly soothing. While preserving the charm of this historic inn, the property has been beautifully renewed with touches of contemporary art woven in seamlessly. Naturally, many Rosanjin works are displayed throughout the building as well, and they were well worth seeing. I also suspect many guests may not notice this—but in the lobby, Rooms, and bathing areas: there are countless chairs everywhere, and most appear to be high-end pieces. I can only imagine how much has been invested overall; especially the chair inside the elevator must be quite expensive. Even details like lighting and clocks have clearly been chosen with great care. We visited with very high expectations for an Onsen Accommodation, yet everything surpassed them by a wide margin—truly impressive. We would love to return again soon.

The meals were delicious, and everything was spotless throughout, which left us feeling refreshed. I have stayed at this Hotel many times since it opened. It’s a favorite of mine, packed with charm. The interior features abundant Hida-sourced wood, creating a calm atmosphere where warmth and luxury are beautifully balanced. Whether in the lobby or the guest Rooms, it’s comfortable everywhere. The Onsen is also outstanding, with blue mosaic tiles in the baths. They are not only visually beautiful but also pleasant to the touch, making it easy to truly unwind. There is an additional fee, but I especially recommend the private bath with a spacious deck—an indulgent experience in a fully private setting. Above all, my greatest pleasure here is dinner. This time, Perla caviar was served as an amuse-bouche—presented in the tin—which genuinely surprised me with its extravagance. From there, the course continued with spear squid, lobster, and Hida beef; every dish showcased superb ingredients along with the chef’s skill and sense of style. Each plate was moving in its own way—it was simply a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet is equally impressive. From local Takayama specialties to salmon marinade and their signature Hida beef curry, everything is so well executed that it hardly feels like typical Hotel breakfast—I was completely satisfied from the morning. Most memorable of all is the hospitality of the staff. Not only do they respond kindly and attentively whenever you need help, they also greet even casual travel conversations with warm smiles that make you feel truly welcome. If you stay here, I encourage you to chat with them—you’ll appreciate this Hotel even more. Room quality, Onsen, dining, and service—few Hotels deliver such a high level across every aspect. And despite that excellence, the Accommodation Fee is surprisingly reasonable; considering what you receive, the value for money is exceptional. For me, it’s one of my absolute favorite Hotels in Japan—one I will happily return to again and again.

On a whim, I decided to visit Himeji Castle and made a Reservation. Maybe because it was a weekday, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. I booked a single Room, but it turned out to be a twin, so there was plenty of space and I could relax comfortably. The complimentary pillows you can borrow were especially great. The bed firmness was just right, and I slept soundly stretched out. I’m picky about pillows and use an expensive one at home, but this was even more comfortable than sleeping in my own bed. The tea bags available next to the front desk also had a wide selection—I tried rooibos and jasmine tea, and both were delicious. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was clean and well maintained. The staff were also very courteous. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance. By the way, Himeji Castle is on the opposite side of the station from the Hotel, so you can’t see it from the Hotel.

The location is excellent, which makes shopping and dining very convenient. Today I came back around 3:00 PM and took a break in the lounge. There were also families with small children, but the parents properly reminded them even if they got loud, so it wasn’t as noisy as last night. When I entered the Room, it had been cleaned beautifully again today, and the amenities were neatly arranged. The woman I met near the elevator and the woman who kindly carried my paper bag—everyone not only cleans thoroughly but also greets guests with a smile, which really lifts my mood. It’s a small thing, but it’s also nice that the elevator arrives quickly.

I had a wonderful stay. I accidentally arrived at Glover Garden, so I called the Hotel and they kindly helped me. When I entered, they greeted me very politely: “Were you the one who called earlier? We’ve been waiting for you—you arrived sooner than we expected.” After that, every staff member continued to treat me with warm hospitality. That alone made me feel glad I chose this Hotel. In the lobby there are two counters—one open until 10:30 p.m. and another available all day—where you can enjoy as many drinks and snacks as you like. Since I arrived late, I do regret not getting there earlier so I could have tried more from the limited-time counter. The braised pork and chocolate were delicious; there was plenty of braised pork left, so if I hadn’t eaten too much at my dinner gathering, I could have finished it all… maybe next time. Still, the all-day counter was more than enough to enjoy. The lounge also has a great selection of books, so I stayed up a bit reading while enjoying tea and sweets from the all-day counter. It was such a relaxing time. Breakfast in a steamer basket was comforting and delicious as well—the yuzu miso was especially amazing. They also had loquat and mandarin drinks. I expected them to be sweet, but they tasted properly like tea with just a subtle hint of flavor. Personally (with my sweet tooth), the mandarin juice added to the all-day counter in the morning was particularly tasty. There is no Onsen (as expected), and while this is clear if you check in advance, toothbrushes are not provided for sustainability reasons. However, there’s a convenience store about 50 meters away from the Hotel, so it wasn’t inconvenient at all. I’ll definitely come again! Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

I stayed for work, and the room was spacious and clean, with excellent meals. The directions and assistance from the front desk when I went out for dinner were also great, making it a pleasant outing. I would like to visit again with my family next time.

It was a comfortable stay at this new Hotel. It is located right in front of the station, making it convenient for dinner and for a morning walk around Senba Lake. Breakfast was well prepared, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The only issue was that it did not appear on my car navigation system. Perhaps because the Hotel is new, or because my navigation system is outdated, it did not come up by name or phone number. The roads around Mito Station include some multi-level intersections and are a bit complicated, so it took some time to find it.

This was my second stay, following last year. I stayed in a twin room, which was spacious and comfortable. I also appreciated that the complimentary drinks service is available 24 hours a day. The staff were kind as well, and I would like to stay here again.

The made-to-order breakfast options are simply outstanding. The buffet is also well stocked, with a wide variety of drinks. I’ve only stayed in the twin Room, but it’s very clean and comfortable. The size is decent. The lounge is a calm space where you can read while enjoying delicious coffee. The staff are all very pleasant, and I think it’s a great Hotel. If I had to nitpick… the parking lot is a bit narrow. When large cars are parked there, it can be quite difficult to get in. Also, when the lot right next door is full, you have no choice but to park at the second lot a few blocks away. It’s fairly far, so it’s tough if you have lots of luggage or on extremely hot days. It had been two years, but this stay was excellent again. Being close to the station and a convenience store was very helpful. Thanks to that, I had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

I stayed here to watch Gujo Odori. The lobby and shared Facility had a retro Showa-era vibe, but everything felt clean, and the Room had been newly and stylishly renovated. There is no large public bath. It was a bit inconvenient that there was no door between the toilet and the washbasin area. The Shuttle Service by minibus to near the Gujo Odori venue was very convenient. Breakfast starts early, and checkout is also early at 10:00, which may be typical for an old-fashioned Hotel, but it did feel a little rushed. Thank you very much.

We woke up early and went for a walk to Kanazawa Castle Park and Oyama Shrine. It was wonderful to be able to pray in a quiet, uncrowded atmosphere. It was great that we could stay at Korinkyo as the perfect starting point for the morning. The night before, we enjoyed plenty of drinks and food, so the breakfast rice porridge was incredibly delicious. The soy milk served before the meal was also excellent. We would love to visit again.

I visited with three friends. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food was also delicious, making it a wonderful memory. It was my first time visiting Wakasa, and I would love to come again.

The service, rooms, and meals—everything about this Hotel was wonderful. The lounge was even more comfortable than expected, and I would love to stay again. All the food was delicious, but the only disappointment was the okonomiyaki. There was also a great variety of drinks, including plenty of alcoholic options. I couldn’t make it during afternoon tea due to other plans, so I’d definitely like to try it next time.

We stayed here as a couple, and it was easily one of the top three Accommodations we’ve ever visited. The entire property is beautiful and spotless. The views from the lobby and lounge are wonderful, and since it’s all-inclusive, we were able to relax with a drink even before meals. Both dinner and breakfast are buffet-style, but the quality is truly outstanding. At the live kitchen, some dishes are finished right in front of you. There’s an excellent selection of carefully chosen local ingredients, and the alcohol isn’t the “mystery brands” you often find at buffets—there were familiar options, and they even had Nikka Date. We were especially satisfied with the food and drinks, particularly the alcohol. Another great point was that there’s no time limit for dining, and no fixed start time—within the designated entry window, you can go whenever you like. It was completely stress-free. In the evening there was a salon concert, which we enjoyed while having a drink. The only downside was that our Room was far from the large public bath—but given how big this Accommodation is, that’s understandable. Finally: although all staff members were Japanese, what stood out most was their exceptional hospitality—not only at reception, but also from the chefs in the kitchen and even on the Shuttle Service bus. We could truly feel their warm welcome from everyone. This is an Accommodation we’d love to visit again.
