We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Overall, it was comfortable. The bath on the 7th floor had a fairly lukewarm tub, which was great because soaking in it after the hotter tub let us enjoy a longer time without overheating. On the other hand, the bath on the 1st floor has only four washing stations. While there are multiple tubs, most are so small that they barely fit one or two people, so I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you visit on a quiet day or specifically want to try several small baths. Meals (both breakfast and dinner) changed between the first and second night, so even with a Multiple Night Stay we didn’t get bored. You can enjoy many different dishes in small portions, and there’s also a special, creative feel to them. Everything was tasty, but not so impressive that it’s worth setting your expectations too high. The fish dishes were average; the meat dishes were very good. It was also nice that you can order Fukushima sake and other drinks for an additional fee. All staff were warm and welcoming. The Room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. We could see nature through large windows, and the amenities/Facility were well equipped: a large desk with a sturdy chair, a powerful hair dryer, a full-length mirror (stand mirror), tea and coffee, etc. However, it was disappointing that the desk drawer hit the chair armrests making it hard to pull up close to the desk, and that the light on the stand mirror had dead batteries. Since we stayed during Obon season there were many families with children, so it may not suit those looking for a quiet adults-only atmosphere. Also, since it said “no cleaning unless requested” for Multiple Night Stay guests we didn’t ask for anything—but staff still entered our Room to replace amenities without warning us first. This part of their guidance is unclear. There are hardly any shops nearby such as convenience stores, so it’s not ideal if you plan to sightsee only in the immediate area. It seems better suited either for going out toward the station area or for relaxing at this Accommodation. We didn’t use it ourselves, but they also appear to offer a free Shuttle Service bus to another affiliated Onsen.

This was my second stay this year, following last year. The Room is spacious and clean, and while it isn’t cheap, it doesn’t feel overpriced. Since Hotels in Furano are unusually expensive, I searched in Asahikawa and found this Hotel. Many of the staff were not Japanese, but everyone was very kind, which I truly appreciated. I plan to stay again next year. Thank you very much.

I can only stay about once a year, but I’m always able to relax and enjoy a peaceful, unhurried time in the calm atmosphere. This time, since it was a weekday stay, I unfortunately couldn’t have my favorite Japanese breakfast, but thanks to the staff’s hospitality and the tranquil room, it was a laid-back trip where I could unwind with a close friend.

It was great—the public bath wasn’t crowded, and the water quality was excellent. There wasn’t a good place to meet in the lobby, but it couldn’t be helped. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay. The open-air bath was a very calming space, and we were able to relax while listening to the sound of water and insects. The shampoo was also comfortable and didn’t leave our hair feeling squeaky. The Ryokan itself was spacious and felt like a maze, making it fun to walk around as if exploring. The barley tea and apple rooibos tea after the bath were also a thoughtful touch. I hadn’t been reading much for quite some time, but using the “Kotoba no Atelier” inspired me to make time for reading again in my daily life after this stay. I also wrote a Tokitegami letter and had a lovely time. Breakfast was buffet-style and everything was delicious—especially the fruit punch. Before breakfast, I ground coffee beans for drip coffee, which was also excellent and made for a very fulfilling experience.

We stayed again following our visit last month! Many other Onsens tend to be quite hot, but the lukewarm Onsen here feels truly one of a kind. We also like that the meals are not a trendy buffet. Depending on the Room, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji!

This was my first stay here. Because it is a dog-only Hotel, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The building is equipped with air conditioning almost everywhere, so it was pleasant even on hot days. Everything was excellent—the meals (including dog food), the Onsen, the indoor dog run, the Room, and the service.

I made my first Reservation after watching Joblog’s YouTube channel. It was a pleasant service after check-in. I’m planning to visit again. Thank you very much.

I chose this place because it has a large public bath, and I was able to relax and stretch out in the bath to relieve my fatigue, which was great. The cost performance is excellent. However, the mattress on the bed in the Room is a bit firm, so I think it would be better with a slightly more comfortable mattress. Thank you very much.

Great location with easy access—close to both the station and the bus stop. Both the Facility and the Room are new and spotless. You can eat and drink in the lounge 24 hours a day, and there are plenty of board games that kids will love. The front desk staff also provided excellent service— nothing to complain about!!! I’ll definitely stay here again when I travel to Kyoto!! This time it was just my son and me, so it felt very spacious, but for a family of four it might be a bit tight. Next time we’re four, I’ll choose a suite room.

The all-inclusive plan even includes drinks like 100% orange juice and apple juice. The washing machine is free (the dryer costs 100 yen per 30 minutes), and the massage chair is also free. Overall, it was excellent value for money. There are only two elevators, so they get crowded. When it’s busy, you may have to wait around 30 minutes unless you ride all the way up first and then come back down. A capable staff member with glasses—like a chief—worked efficiently while keeping a warm smile the whole time, which made me feel that APA has secured great talent.

Just after the Obon holidays, when it was still fairly busy, we were able to make a last-minute Reservation for two nights the day before. The location near the station was a huge help. The staff were very courteous, and I especially appreciated that—since I had seen some Reviews mentioning concerns about the bathroom area—I asked if possible for a renovated, clean Room. They kindly arranged a Room with very clean bathroom facilities, and we were able to stay very comfortably. One point: we used the coin laundry, and as soon as my husband put on the washed clothes he felt intense itching... The clothes washed there did seem quite dusty, and his symptoms went away after bathing and rinsing off. So I can’t say for sure, but it made me wonder if the coin laundry equipment isn’t being cleaned thoroughly enough. Dryers can get very dusty unless they’re cleaned frequently... The area around the dryers also felt quite dusty. That said, we had a comfortable two-day stay and are truly grateful. Thank you very much!

From luggage storage to check-in, this is an important service that represents the Hotel and leaves a strong impression. You handled everything smoothly and courteously on your own, communicating in fluent Japanese, which made our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

I stayed here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. When making the Reservation, I wrote, “It’s their birthday, so please take care of us,” which was probably a rather unclear request. Even so, thank you very much for preparing a wonderful Room with a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower. When we entered the Room, there was also red wine and a “Happy Birthday” plate waiting for us. I was truly moved by the unexpected surprise. Thanks to your thoughtful hospitality, it became the best birthday for both my friend and me. We were able to spend an unforgettable time filled with happy memories, and I sincerely appreciate it. The Room was very clean and comfortable, and the restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere as well. We felt at ease throughout our stay. I’m truly glad we chose your Accommodation for such an important day. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

I stayed with my grandchildren, ages 5 and 10. As soon as we parked, a staff member came over and helped us carry our luggage to the Room. The moment we opened the door, we saw a spacious, stylish Room and the pool, and everyone cheered. Before getting into the in-room pool, we went to the lounge and enjoyed some drinks. We had ordered a pizza-making kit, so we had fun making it—and it was so delicious we finished it in seconds! We brought our own ingredients and enjoyed a BBQ. We also used the sauna, then went back to the pool—and even the next morning we jumped straight into another full day of pool time. We even came across a stag beetle, which made it an amazing trip. Since we were traveling with children who tend to run around, we chose the first floor where you can see the pool from the living area. No one was staying on the second floor during our visit, so there were no footsteps like some Reviews mention—it was very comfortable. Having a coffee machine in the Room was fantastic. Everyone agreed that we’d love to stay again.

This was our family’s first trip to Kushimoto. We made a Reservation for an ocean-view Room on a high floor, and we were lucky to have great weather—we even got to see a beautiful sunrise! The Room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt clean. The yukata fabric was sturdy and not see-through, and it had no odor at all (the highest compliment). I’m sensitive to smells—both unpleasant odors and strong detergent fragrances—so regardless of the Hotel’s grade I usually assume I won’t be able to use them, but this time I used the yukata a lot! Even though we chose an affordable Plan, dinner on the second night and breakfast on the third day were included as well, and we were surprised by the wide variety of dishes. Instead of bottled water in the Room, there was a water dispenser in the elevator hall (with hot water too), which we really appreciated. The bath area and changing room were also spacious, so we could truly relax. Bathing hours started early in the morning and ran late into the night, which gave us plenty of flexibility. We could adjust the air conditioning exactly as we liked—another reason it was such a comfortable stay. The staff members we passed in the hallways greeted us naturally, creating a refreshing atmosphere throughout. If I had to mention one thing: when using the Room slippers, I hesitated slightly wondering if they had been sanitized. At other Mercure properties I’ve stayed at before, this never crossed my mind. Overall, we were extremely satisfied! Thank you very much!

My wife and I stayed here together. The Room was spacious and clean, and we were able to relax comfortably. Even after walking around sightseeing all day, we could unwind properly in the calm atmosphere, and we were very satisfied. What especially stood out was the complimentary lounge available to guests. Not only could we enjoy free draft Sapporo beer, but there were also light snacks provided—it was so well stocked that we couldn’t believe it was free. It really felt like Sapporo and greatly enhanced our stay. It was also very convenient that there was a place to store luggage such as suitcases. We could sightsee hands-free even after checkout, so we were able to enjoy the city of Sapporo right up until it was time to leave. On the other hand, the only disappointing point was the showerhead. The water pressure in normal mode was too low and a bit difficult to use, but when switched to massage mode it became too strong, so there wasn’t a comfortable setting in between. If it were up to me, I would replace the showerhead without hesitation. For example, switching to something like the “SANEI Ultra Fine Bubble Shower Head mitos,” which can be purchased for around 10,000 yen, might significantly improve guest satisfaction. That said, aside from the shower everything else exceeded expectations. The complimentary lounge and luggage storage are thoughtful services that guests truly appreciate. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay, and it was also an excellent base for exploring Sapporo. I hope the showerhead will be improved, but even so, I would like to stay here again next time I visit Sapporo.

We stayed in an ocean-view Room as a family of three. The Room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The unit bath was also spacious. The Hotel was quiet throughout and felt luxurious. The view faced the sea, and at night the lights of the Bay Bridge and yakatabune boats were soothing. The next morning, a stunning orange sunrise rose directly in front of our window, with a sparkling orange line across the surface of the water. We’d love to stay again on a fireworks day. Amazing!

The Room was very clean, and the bed was spacious. There was also a door that could partition the Room. Since some of us wanted to sleep early while others wanted to watch TV, we could close the door when needed. The TV showed how crowded the large public bath was; it said it was crowded, but when we went, the changing area was spacious and there were plenty of washing stations, so it didn’t feel crowded at all. The buffet food was delicious, but it was a bit too crowded and caused congestion. Unlimited alcohol with the welcome drinks is impressive, but I was surprised to learn that drinks were unlimited during meals as well! It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit again.
