We’ve been staying here every year—this year makes it about 10 years. It’s a Hotel where both children and adults can relax, just as always. The food is always so delicious it amazes us, and it’s truly enjoyable! We’ll be back again next year with our whole family!

The Room was a maisonette type. The door used a standard key lock, and the gap in the restroom door made it slightly possible to see inside from outside, so overall it felt a bit old, but it was kept clean and well maintained. If there had been table tennis, the Facility would have been perfect. Checkout took a little time, but the staff handled it politely and left a very good impression. The meals were very satisfying for both children and adults. The free drinks in the lounge were also something the kids really enjoyed. I’d be happy to visit again.

The Onsen area was very spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The Room was also large, clean, and comfortable. The buffet selection was plentiful and excellent. I would love to stay again!

The Room was clean, and I was very satisfied! You can choose from several types of frozen meals—enjoy them in the evening, or keep them in the Room freezer until morning and heat them up in the microwave provided in the Room. Coffee was also free, and I’d like to stay here again.

I didn’t stay here when I lived in Chitose, but I did come for a meal. I stayed here for the first time in 25 years, and it was spacious and clean. It was very comfortable.

The Room was clean and uncluttered, with nothing unnecessary. The essentials were more than enough. Since the bath water can get very hot, there were clear and detailed instructions on the door and inside the bathroom, which made everything easy to understand. The shower pressure was strong and great as well. I can’t sleep without my own pillow, so I brought mine—and I slept very well! I’d love to stay here again when I travel to Niigata Prefecture.

The facilities were clean, and the meals were delicious. They had a great selection of thoughtful pet amenities, which we really appreciated. Karaoke was also affordable at 500 yen per person per hour. We’d love to visit again in winter.

I wanted to relax on my own for a change, found a great-value Plan, and made a Reservation. The staff welcomed me with warm smiles and guided me smoothly to my Room. They even told me where to buy delicious peaches, and I was already so happy I chose to come. After resting in my Room for a bit, I headed straight to the Onsen. It happened to be quiet at that time, so I ended up soaking for ages. I felt like my skin looked better and it really lifted my mood—so after dinner, I went back in again. Finding an Onsen I truly love was the best part of all. The ice cream after the bath was also great. Breakfast was a half-buffet featuring mainly fermented foods—and it was amazing! I especially loved the dried daikon radish and hijiki simmered in tomato sauce so much that I want to make it at home. The salmon served first was also plump and delicious; it made me think, “Is it really okay to enjoy something this luxurious in the morning?”—such a wonderful escape from everyday life. Each dish was light and refreshing, so you may find yourself eating too much—in that sense, be careful (lol). I also loved that check-out is at 11:00, which meant I could enjoy another relaxing soak in the Onsen in the morning. Everyone on staff was kind, and this has become an Accommodation I definitely want to stay at again. Thank you very much, Ryokan Meiji.

I came from out of the prefecture planning a day trip, but ended up needing to stay overnight at short notice, so I searched nearby and stayed here. The Room was very small, and the shower, sink, and toilet were all in one unit, which was not very convenient to use. However, there was a large public bath, so I had no problems during my stay. At night I was able to soak in the large public bath at a relaxed pace and rest my tired body. In the morning, I also enjoyed the hot stone sauna and had the complimentary breakfast, making it a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

My daughter and I stayed for a two-night stay in a Club Junior Suite. I had seen some Reviews saying the staff were not very helpful, but that wasn’t the case at all—everyone was attentive and courteous. The Club Floor lounge was especially wonderful. During cocktail time, we enjoyed drinks and delicious snacks together while taking in the night view—my daughter has just turned 20, so it was a special moment for us. It was also great that the property is connected to the Onsen Facility “Ren.” We used it on the first night and again on the morning of our third day, and we were very satisfied. We hadn’t added breakfast, but we had a breakfast rice porridge set at one of Ren’s restaurants, then fully enjoyed a morning bath. The powder room was well equipped with ReFa and YA-MAN hair dryers as well as hair irons, so there was no inconvenience. This trip was by JR, so with large luggage it felt like a bit of a walk from the station (and we got slightly lost), but we truly had a wonderful trip. If I have another chance to visit Osaka, I would definitely like to stay again. One small thing I noticed: while spending time in the Room, there would be fairly loud popping or clicking sounds coming from near the window about once every 5–10 minutes. Since it’s on the 27th floor, I wondered if it might be related to air pressure or something similar—but it remained a mystery throughout our stay.

The bath is quite far from the single Room, and the washing-area stools are low, making it hard to stand up. I would appreciate it if there were a few higher chairs available. The hot water is exceptionally good. Even though I thought it would be fine, I couldn’t relax in the 1st-floor open-air bath because I was worried about what I would do if a bear appeared.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful whenever we needed assistance (such as giving us a tour of the facilities and lending us tools to clear snow from our car). At dinner, the timing of each course being served in order was excellent—they seemed to watch our pace as we enjoyed drinks and ate slowly. I was impressed by their professional attentiveness.

Since it was a weekday, I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. I wished there was a large public bath. The family bath required a Reservation, so I couldn't use it this time. Next time, I plan to make a Reservation. Both the dinner and the breakfast buffet were delicious. The nighttime illumination was also beautiful.

A prior Review mentioned that there were many foreign staff, and it felt like most of the staff were non-Japanese. However, their Japanese was very good and the service was fine, so it didn’t bother me. Amenities are placed in the lobby and you take what you need yourself. They had plenty, including toner, makeup remover, shampoo, etc. You can drink coffee and tea for free at the cafe corner, which was a nice service. The meals were mainly Japanese cuisine and were delicious. Personally, I loved the stylish and cute small plates used for the dishes. The bath was pleasant too, but I felt there weren’t enough hair dryers. Especially for women who need more time to dry their hair, I ended up thinking I’d have to wait my turn… and that it might be faster to go back to my Room with wet hair and dry it there. The view from the Room was great and was the best part. The mountains and river looked beautiful—wonderful scenery.

We also welcomed international guests! It was awesome!

The meals were delicious, and there were three baths, so we were able to relax and unwind. If we have the chance, we’d love to visit again!

Last year I stayed in the main building, but this year I tried the auberge. On the first day, after watching the sunrise at Inubosaki, I headed south along Sotobo through Katsuura and Kamogawa, visited Nojimazaki Lighthouse, stopped by Awa Shrine, and then returned to this Hotel. First, I relaxed in the scenic-view Onsen to ease my fatigue. Soaking in the bath with the vast Pacific Ocean right in front of me was a truly wonderful experience. Back in my Room, I enjoyed listening to music and reading, savoring a pace of time different from everyday life. One piece of good luck on this trip was having the teppanyaki dinner entirely to myself as a private booking. I enjoyed a delicious meal while chatting pleasantly with the chef and staff. The dishes were carefully selected with a focus on local ingredients, and they were also beautiful to look at. Another bit of good luck was being able to see the sunrise the next morning. The forecast had been cloudy with occasional rain, so I had given up on it—but when I woke up, it was clear. I hurried to the scenic-view Onsen to wait for sunrise and saw it right at the time indicated by the Hotel’s guidance. It made for an incredibly refreshing morning. I could also enjoy breakfast buffet-style in a private room at a relaxed pace—maybe I ate a little too much. On my way home, I headed north along Uchibo and ended up making a full loop around the Boso Peninsula. I would definitely like to visit again when I have another chance.

Stayed on a Saturday during a three-day weekend. The room was very clean. We had an extra bed added to the twin room and used it for three people. The best part was the complimentary breakfast. The menu was extensive, and I thought it was great for international guests. I would like to use it again.

I stayed during the rainy season. The parking lot is a bit far, and the entrance is narrow, so I had to be careful. However, depending on the parking space, it was convenient for loading and unloading luggage. The first floor serves as an entrance area with a convenience store attached, which was very helpful for any last-minute needs. The reception counter is on the second floor, where breakfast is also served. Welcome drinks are available at certain times with a wide variety to choose from. Although I accidentally spilled some in the elevator while deciding what to pick, the staff quickly provided cleaning supplies and assisted me promptly. The breakfast area is small, so securing seats was challenging for families. However, it was great to enjoy local specialties like Nara's famous persimmon leaf sushi and Narazuke pickles. Even with small children in tow, we found the room very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a Room with a loft bed that allowed our family to relax comfortably. The location is very close to the station. We were able to park slightly earlier (with an additional fee) and go sightseeing by train conveniently. There are izakayas and stylish restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so finding dinner options wasn’t an issue at all. Umbrella rentals were available as well; we borrowed one for dinner outings at night without worrying about dealing with wet umbrellas upon returning to our Room. Overall, staying here was an excellent experience! Thank you so much for your hospitality!
