I usually stay at health insurance association retreats or Tokyo ward-run resorts (paying the non-resident rate), but this place was available for about the same price, so I decided to try it. Since it was a weekday, only a few cars were in the parking lot, and it felt spacious and comfortable. In the lobby, there is a coffee machine that guests can use freely. The Room had been nicely renovated, was well cleaned, and provided a relaxing environment. There are three bathing areas that rotate between men and women by time slot. Perhaps out of consideration for nearby buildings, the women’s open-air bath is scheduled from nighttime to early morning, which felt reassuring. Compared with typical retreat facilities, the meals were far more upscale—generous portions and very tasty. The self-serve soy sauce soft-serve dessert is outstanding. Laying out futons in the Japanese-style Room is self-service, but if you don’t mind that, it offers great value for money. The staff were also polite and pleasant throughout. I’d like to stay again soon.

I have stayed here many times. The clean facilities, pleasant Onsen, and satisfying breakfast are all very good. However, that was something I could say because the room rates used to be affordable. Perhaps due to recent inflation, the rates have increased significantly compared with before. In the past, weekends and holidays were not much different, but now they feel much more expensive. During Golden Week and Silver Week in particular, the rates are considerably higher than those of a neighboring Hotel. Since there used to be little difference, I chose Super Hotel without hesitation, but next time I may have to think twice. I hope that once inflation settles down, the pricing will return to what it was before.

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. The meals were simply outstanding. Not only the food but also the tableware was beautiful, and my wife—who loves dishes—was so inspired that she bought lots of Kutani ware during our sightseeing in Kanazawa the next day. It was my wife’s first time in Kanazawa, and she seems to have fallen in love with the city. With only four Rooms, it was quiet, and the bath was excellent as well. We truly enjoyed a relaxing adults-only getaway. We would love to return again, not just for anniversaries.

I had a comfortable stay. The Room was spacious, which was great. I would love to stay here again.

It was a truly wonderful Onsen. Not only was the water quality excellent, but with one indoor bath and two open-air baths, I never got tired of soaking no matter how many times I went in. There was also a free beer event, and I was very pleased with this unexpected service. Because a typhoon made landfall on the day of my stay, I couldn’t go out to eat in the Onsen town at night, which was disappointing—but thanks to this service, I was able to enjoy drinks in the lobby instead. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and the entire building was kept spotless, so I rated my overall satisfaction as 5. I would definitely like to stay again (next time for winter skiing...).

It was my first stay, but this was a wonderful Hotel that felt warm and reassuring—like coming home. What impressed me most was the staff’s perfect sense of distance: refined, top-class service while still friendly, making the entire stay truly comfortable. The Room was also impeccably cleaned down to every detail—perfectly spotless wherever you looked. You can really feel how much the staff cherish this Hotel. The room service beef curry I had in the Room had an astonishing depth of flavor—absolutely outstanding! I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my stay: service, cleanliness, and food. I’ve found a special Hotel I can recommend with confidence. Thank you for such an amazing time that left both body and mind fulfilled. Without a doubt, this is a special place I’d love to make my regular Accommodation.

A welcome beer right after arrival, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. The Sora Room we stayed in also had a very pleasant indoor bath, and I couldn’t decide between that and the Onsen, so in the end I took four baths. It’s a wonderful Accommodation that I’d love to visit again soon.

The buffet selection was very extensive, every dish was delicious, and we were extremely satisfied. Our Room had an ocean view, the scenery was wonderful, and we were able to relax comfortably. There were also various types of baths, each with a different atmosphere, and we enjoyed them very much. As it is all-inclusive, it’s an especially appealing stay for those who enjoy alcohol. Since we don’t drink much, that part felt a bit wasted for us; however, we understood this in advance when booking, and the complimentary soft drinks and other beverages were plentiful, so it wasn’t inconvenient. One thing we noticed was the in-Room amenities: items such as toner were provided for only one person. We felt it would be more comfortable if they were prepared for the number of guests. Overall, we were highly satisfied with the food, views, and baths alike—it was a wonderful Hotel that we would definitely like to stay at again.

I was happy to receive a cold towel at check-in, and even though the front desk was busy, you assisted us right away. Everyone’s wonderful smiles warmed our hearts. We were able to relax deeply in the Onsen and felt our everyday fatigue melt away. Thank you very much!

The ocean stretching out before you The view from the Room is wonderful, but enjoying a drink while gazing at the sea from the gazebo—and then relaxing in a bath—was simply the best. We will definitely return.

This Hotel made our stay in Shiretoko even more special. This time, we were kindly upgraded to a better Room, and we were truly moved by the unexpected thoughtfulness. The guest Room was spacious and comfortable, with a calm atmosphere that let us fully enjoy our time away. What left the strongest impression was the large public bath. It was roomy and very clean, and soaking at a relaxed pace was the perfect way to ease away the day’s fatigue. All of the staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional while maintaining just the right sense of distance, which allowed us to feel at ease throughout our stay. The entire Accommodation had a serene ambiance, and we felt it enriched our time in Shiretoko even more. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to return to when we visit Shiretoko again. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

We stayed here hoping to relax as a family of four with our two adult children. From the warm welcome in the parking lot to the welcome drink and escort to our Room, we were treated with outstanding hospitality. Every detail—from the entrance hall and corridors to the Room interior—showed great care and exceeded what we had seen on the website in advance. The large public bath is not huge, but since the number of guests is limited, it was more than sufficient. We also enjoyed being able to soak in Onsen anytime in the bath in our Room, which was wonderful for our family. The meals reflected the chef’s dedication (he is from Shiga Prefecture), and every dish was a delight for both the eyes and the palate. We also appreciated having time to unwind as a family in the lounge with drinks, making this a trip that left all of us completely satisfied. What we recommend most about this Accommodation is that every staff member provides genuinely pleasant service. In addition to taking care of what we needed, they entertained us with friendly, witty conversation. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again and again as a couple or with family. As it was my first stay, you kindly picked me up at Tokyo Station and showed me to a beautifully clean, nicely chilled Room as much as three hours early. Every member of staff welcomed me with such warm smiles that, even in a luxurious space far from everyday life, I was able to spend a wonderfully comfortable day as if I were in my own Room. Breakfast was truly delicious, and on top of that, the delightful conversation with the cute female staff member who spoke languages fluently, along with the thoughtful attentiveness of the male staff member—never intrusive yet always considerate—made me linger longer than planned. I’ll work hard and will definitely stay again!

The welcome herbal water drink was delicious—absolutely amazing!! This is truly a tropical paradise, a Resort Hotel. The view from the ocean-view Room was breathtaking—it really felt like “time, please stop!” As we left the Hotel from the parking lot, a handsome front desk staff member waved goodbye, which left a wonderful impression. It was an excellent Hotel that made us want to come back.

This time, we visited Lake Kawaguchi and Hakone for the first time, looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji as part of my wife’s birthday trip. Although it was too cloudy to see the Mt. Fuji we had hoped for, we stayed at Setsugetsuka Bettei Suiun in Hakone and were able to fully enjoy the area. Our Room was a Standard Fourth, and it was very practical and well maintained with thorough cleaning, so we had a comfortable stay. The Onsen was at just the right temperature for me and left me feeling refreshed from the core, and it was also great to be able to use L’OCCITANE shampoo. For dinner, being able to choose the main dish and rice during the meal felt like a thoughtful service that let us decide based on our appetite. Breakfast offered such an abundant variety that we were so full we couldn’t even eat lunch afterward. The after-bath lounge area, along with complimentary drinks and snacks on each floor, was also a welcome service whenever we felt a little hungry. The staff’s hospitality was polite and easy to understand, which left a strong impression on us as well. After checkout we went to Gora Park, and at that time a parking staff member kindly advised us that taking the mountain railway one stop would allow us to walk downhill from top to bottom more easily—very helpful advice for an older couple like us. We hope to come back soon for our “I want to see Mt. Fuji with my own eyes!” revenge trip, and when we do, we would love to stay with you again.

I originally chose to stay at Yunoyama Onsen because I wanted to relax in the Onsen. The Onsen was wonderfully soothing, and I enjoyed it many times, but to be honest, the meals were even better than expected—exceptionally delicious, with thoughtful touches in each ingredient—so I was just as satisfied, if not more so, than with the Onsen. The welcome drink and shiratama sweets, as well as the sweets café after dinner, were not the kind of “just for show” desserts you often find; they were genuinely delicious sweets, which was another highlight. Since it was summer vacation there were many families with children, and seeing them enjoy the festival games brought back memories of letting my own child play at a similar festival at Ogoto Onsen years ago. The Room was clean, and above all, the hospitality of all the staff was outstanding. I was especially impressed by how hard one international staff member working as a trainee was trying. I would definitely like to stay again—thank you very much.

We traveled to Miyazaki from Osaka as a family of three for our daughter’s birthday, because she wanted to try authentic spicy ramen. It was a very hot midsummer day, but the Room was cool, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom with a jet bath was spacious, and we were also delighted with the BVLGARI amenities. Since we hadn’t made a Reservation for the dinner course, we asked for à la carte at the restaurant at short notice. The cheerful chef kindly listened to our requests, and we enjoyed delicious Miyazaki beef and wine in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. For breakfast, the three of us ordered different dishes—Japanese-style breakfast, Western-style breakfast, and Eggs Benedict—and everything was excellent. As we didn’t need to drive anywhere afterward, we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks from the morning. In particular, the original(?) sausage in the Western-style breakfast was so flavorful that I wished I could have had more—either as seconds or even as a takeaway. During our stay, they also prepared a birthday celebration plate for our daughter, recommended a great spicy ramen shop, and gave us time to relax in the lounge with drinks while enjoying conversations with our daughter that we don’t often get to have. Thanks to this warm hospitality from all the staff who created such a welcoming environment, it became an extremely comfortable trip to Miyazaki. I truly think this is a highly recommended Hotel. To all the staff members: thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

Before the renovation, I stayed about three times in “Kumo” on the 4th floor. This time, I enjoyed a Multiple Night Stay in “Ten.” The Room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the Japanese-style atmosphere with Ryukyu tatami and shoji screens. The Onsen had a silky feel, and the temperature was just right. Both the Japanese cuisine and my first teppanyaki experience were excellent. I was truly able to relax and unwind. Thank you very much to all the staff. One thing I would like improved is the shower water pressure in the bathroom—it was a bit too weak. I have made a Reservation for a three-night stay next year as well. Thank you in advance for your continued hospitality.

We stayed here during a holiday. I have used several Ryokan in Sumoto Onsen before, but this time we had an especially wonderful stay. The private open-air bath let us fully enjoy the ocean view. We were also very grateful for the thoughtful consideration shown to my pregnant wife regarding the meals. Although the property shows some age, I think it is a Ryokan where you can have a truly pleasant stay.

Thank you for having us for one night. As others have mentioned, the warm hospitality was truly comforting. The meals were delicious, and everything was spotless throughout, which left us feeling refreshed. I traveled with my wife and our two daughters, and this was an Accommodation we are genuinely glad we chose. Thank you very much.
