The staff were incredibly kind, and I was truly impressed—I’d give 10 stars if I could. Every staff member showed outstanding hospitality, and I even wondered how they could work so hard. The Room was spotless, the amenities were well stocked, and the view was amazing. Even though it was a short stay, it was one wonderful experience after another. Thank you very much.

This was our repeat stay once again. No matter how many times we visit, the view of Mt. Fuji from the men’s open-air bath is truly breathtaking—something you can only experience here. Unfortunately, it was cloudy this time and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but that just gives us something to look forward to next time. The French dinner made great use of local and seasonal ingredients, and we were completely satisfied with both the presentation and the taste. The portions were just right for us, and it’s also a pleasure to enjoy different dishes each season. The breakfast buffet was equally well stocked with both Japanese and Western options, and we enjoyed everything down to the fruit and desserts. It was a little disappointing that the made-to-order omelets from before are no longer available, but it’s understandable if it’s part of efforts to keep the Hotel running for years to come. Most impressive of all is the hospitality of the staff. At breakfast, for example, they kindly introduced recommended dishes in detail—it really came through that they pay attention to each guest, and we felt their warm consideration throughout our stay. Many paintings and artworks are displayed throughout the building; I’m not particularly knowledgeable about art, but simply walking around inside is enjoyable. The building isn’t new by any means, but on this remote island I can’t help imagining how such a large Hotel was even constructed in the first place. I was also impressed that such extensive Facilities have been maintained for so many years in a harsh environment surrounded by sea. We’ve stayed at many Hotels over the years, but Awashima Hotel is one of those rare special places that naturally makes you think, “I want to come back.” I hope this wonderful scenery and warm hospitality will continue unchanged for years to come, so it remains a beloved Hotel for many people. We’ll be back again.

This was our first time staying here. We were very satisfied with everything, including the complimentary drinks, well-stocked amenities, the cleanliness of the Room, and all of the meals. The building itself is not new, but it preserves the charm of a traditional Ryokan—such as its Japanese garden—while the interior has been renovated for a comfortable stay. It was a memorable trip. Thank you very much for having us. This is a wonderful Accommodation where you can enjoy both the gold and silver Onsen. Not only are the baths spacious, they are also kept impeccably clean, making for a truly relaxing and restorative stay. The Shuttle Service staff were excellent, and all of the team provided outstanding hospitality. The in-Room dining was also delicious—there is nothing to fault. When we visit Arima Onsen again, we will definitely stay here. Thank you for the best hospitality.

The Room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and I was able to rest well. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I felt refreshed both physically and mentally. All of the staff were courteous and pleasant, and I’m glad I chose this Hotel. I would love to visit again.

The hospitality and the restaurant cuisine were outstanding in every respect. Their attentive, courteous communication before our stay left a strong impression, and on the day of our visit, everyone—from the seasoned staff to the younger team members—provided genuinely pleasant service. If you want a reliably excellent experience in Karuizawa, HIRAMATSU is without doubt the place to choose.

From the Room balcony, we had a panoramic view of Shirahama Beach, the ocean, and the town—an unbeatable location. The Room was spacious and truly relaxing. The Hotel itself was lovely, and having a nice smoking room was a real plus for smokers. In the evening, we enjoyed delicious cocktails at the bar counter, and with live piano music it made for a wonderfully comfortable time. The view from the large public bath was also amazing—you can look down over the sea, and the ocean breeze felt incredibly refreshing. Dinner was an Italian course meal and everything was delicious. The breakfast buffet was great too, with both Japanese and Western options. The Hotel also has a pool and a gym, and it’s close to Shirahama World Safari and golf courses—perfect for families with children as well as golf lovers. It was such a wonderful Hotel that we’ll definitely want to visit again.

On June 8, my spouse and I met friends from Kumamoto and had a great time eating and drinking together. They upgraded our Room to a higher grade, and my sauna-loving husband was very satisfied. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Having visited Yoko no Kaze before, we stayed here this year. Our family has grown, and our daughter-in-law joined us as well. They kindly prepared Rooms next to each other for us. At Kumoba Terrace, we took our time enjoying alcohol and fresh juice, and the lit bonfire and birch forest were truly soothing. In the spacious, clean Room, we relaxed in the Onsen brought from Ueda City. The cuisine was outstanding—seasonal and beautifully presented. We enjoyed everything from the scallop takikomi rice to dessert, though the portions were a bit large for me. As it was our daughter-in-law’s birthday month, we requested a surprise message plate. She was very happy, which made us glad as well. Thanks to the thoughtful staff, we were able to add another precious family memory. Thank you very much.

Even though I don’t swim in the sea, I travel solo year-round in search of gourmet Accommodations near the coast (for the food and scenery). I was delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view Room. It was a Japanese-style Room, but it also had a leather sofa and ottoman, so I could stretch out and relax while gazing at the ocean. When I woke up around 5:00, I was able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the Room. There is a calm inner-sea beach right in front of the Accommodation, and there are showers as well—great for families with small children. The meals were outstanding, featuring an abundance of local specialties. My main goal was Wakasa-guji (tilefish), but it was even more delicious than I imagined—the Wakasa-guji ochazuke was exceptional. And the Matsunaga rice was unbelievably good (probably the best I’ve ever had). I didn’t use the public bath and used the shower in my Room instead, but I loved that the shampoo and conditioner were Hokurokusousui—one of my favorite brands—and it helped me relax. Recently there have been more Accommodations renovated from wooden buildings, but some noise—voices and footsteps—is unavoidable. You can often hear children as well. It’s not exactly quiet. However, more than making up for that, I felt each staff member’s hospitality and way of interacting with guests was wonderful. In particular: the woman with glasses who assisted me at check-in; the woman at breakfast (I’m sorry—I forgot your name); and one of the male staff members who kindly gave me helpful advice for sightseeing in Obama after check-out. Thanks to them, it became more than just an overnight stay—I had a chance to learn even more about Obama, making this trip extremely satisfying. I heard that midwinter is especially good for grouper, pufferfish, and Echizen crab. As transportation access improves from here on out, this will be an Accommodation you’ll want to visit even more. Next time it would be perfect if I could borrow a firmer pillow!! Please make that happen on my next visit!! (I can’t sleep if a pillow doesn’t suit me.) We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The Room was spacious, and we loved the greenery visible from the window. The meals were, as always, reliably delicious, and we were especially touched that you even prepared an anniversary plate for us this time. All of the staff were kind, making our stay very comfortable. With the private bath service included, along with early check-in and late check-out, we fully enjoyed our Diamond member benefits. This is an Accommodation we would definitely love to stay at again.

The guest rooms, the Hotel facilities, and the dining—everything is wonderfully artistic. Before dinner, I joined an in-house art tour, which was fantastic; I really enjoyed learning about the Hotel’s history, the renovation process, and behind-the-scenes stories leading up to its opening. Dinner was outstanding—each dish by Chef Katayama was delicate, beautiful, and absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the lounge both before and after dinner, with great drinks and snacks; the beef jerky was exceptional, and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine and beer as well. Breakfast was a delicious Japanese meal made with ingredients from Gunma. This is a Hotel I would definitely love to visit again if I have the chance.

I stay here frequently. I always feel relaxed thanks to the hospitality, meals, Room, and Onsen. The meals are very delicious—so much so that I end up overeating. The Room is also great: it’s comfortable for working and comes with an Onsen, making it perfect for a refreshing break. I will definitely stay again.

First, the young woman who escorted us to our Room had beautiful skin, and her professional service was very soothing. The two types of Onsen were great—especially the brown one, which was pleasantly salty and exactly my kind of Onsen. Maybe it was just my imagination, but my skin felt incredibly smooth afterward. This is just my personal opinion, but if the spring source temperature is low, I might soak longer if that small bath were a warm (lukewarm) Onsen. The Room was stylish as well. There were plenty of yukata and towels, so I could use fresh towels whenever I wanted with no stress. The free drinks were also very convenient. We only had breakfast, but the rice was glossy and delicious—I’d like to visit next time with dinner included.

We stayed for one night from July 27 with two families. From the gentleman on the parking staff at check-in, to the young man in charge of our Room, and even the shop staff, everyone provided warm, friendly service that made our stay truly comfortable. In particular, my son became very fond of the staff member in charge of our Room and still proudly displays the letter he received at check-out. Thank you so much for being so kind to him. The Room was spacious, the view from the window was wonderful, and every dish was delicious. The Onsen had excellent water quality, and my skin felt smooth after bathing. Guests of many different age groups were staying there, and after experiencing it ourselves, we completely understand why. It’s a wonderful Accommodation where anyone can relax and enjoy their time. We also appreciated the complimentary Onsen eggs and “a little beer” service, which helped our whole family have a great time. We would love to visit again.

We stayed with our baby, and it was such a wonderful Accommodation that we’d love to visit again even as adults only. The chic, calming interior was beautiful, and you could feel the attention to detail in every piece of furniture, appliance, and decor. The Room had adorable children’s chairs and slippers, a yoga mat, DVD rentals, a star chart, and more. The space itself was so comfortable that simply spending time at the Accommodation felt truly restorative. At the front desk there was a complimentary drink service including alcohol such as beer and sake, as well as delicious decaf coffee that pregnant guests and breastfeeding moms can enjoy. On top of that, all drinks and snacks in the in-Room refrigerator were also free—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. The private open-air bath attached to the Room was a solid rock-built bath with an impressive presence; soaking slowly while surrounded by nature was incredibly relaxing. Most memorable of all was the view from the Room: refreshing mountains stretching out before us, with Sagami Bay visible beyond. Just staying in the Room while gazing out the window felt luxurious—we lost track of time and truly unwound. Each dish showed great care and craftsmanship; everything was delicious and we were completely satisfied. Although we stayed with a child, thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff we were able to spend our time very comfortably.

The Room had a great view, and we could see the ocean in the distance. It was also clean and easy to use. The jet bath was very relaxing. Even with a slightly larger car, the self-parking garage was easy to park in. There was an entrance/exit inside the station building, which made shopping convenient as well. We could also walk to the morning market and the Hapina Nakakecho Shopping Street. A beef tongue restaurant called “Tsukasa” in Hapina Nakakecho Shopping Street was delicious. Highly recommended. One request: the print on the breakfast voucher is too small to read. Even for someone like me with only mild presbyopia who doesn’t need reading glasses, it’s hard to read; for those who do need reading glasses, it would be unreadable without them—especially in dim lighting. I would appreciate it if you could use slightly larger text so it’s easier for everyone to read. (I stayed two nights, but I couldn’t read the date and wasn’t sure which one to use.) I may have another opportunity to stay again in the future. Thank you for your consideration.

Relax in an Onsen in the mountains while gazing out at the sea. This location was simply unbeatable. And above all, the food was truly delicious! This time we enjoyed a French dinner. French cuisine at an Onsen Accommodation—more satisfying than we ever imagined. In the morning, it was a complete change to Japanese breakfast. The views, the Onsen, and the food—everything was exceptional. It was a luxurious time that left both our hearts and stomachs full.

During our trip to Ise, we stayed at this Ryokan in Toba and had a truly wonderful time. From the warm welcome on arrival, the bus driver’s cheerful conversation helped us relax and made us feel comfortable from the very start of our journey. At the Ryokan, the Onsen was exceptional. I was so happy that my skin felt silky smooth that I ended up soaking six times—I couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff also kindly gave us detailed advice for sightseeing the next day. They even considered train schedules, which helped us make the most of our limited time. Of course, we were completely satisfied with everything—the view from our Room and all of the meals. In every moment, we felt the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail, and it was clear that they are consistently well trained. Finding a Ryokan that genuinely made me think, “I want to stay here again,” is one of my favorite memories from this trip. Thank you very much to all of the staff. When we visit Ise and Toba again, we would love to stay with you.

It was a wonderful Hotel where we could truly enjoy Lake Biwa. The Room offered a panoramic view of Lake Biwa and felt incredibly open and airy. The interior also had a luxurious touch, and we genuinely enjoyed simply spending time in the Room. All of the staff provided excellent service, proactively checking in with us, so we never had any trouble during our stay. The Onsen was especially memorable. The water quality was excellent, and the view of Lake Biwa from the open-air bath was exceptional. On the day we stayed, a crescent moon reflected on the lake’s surface, creating an enchanting scene. The amenities were also high quality. We were very satisfied with the all-inclusive lounge as well. With its high ceilings and spacious atmosphere, enjoying drinks freely while looking out over Lake Biwa was truly fantastic. Dinner featured an outstanding full-course Omi beef meal—so much so that it felt like great value for what you get. There was also a wide selection of drinks, and we were especially happy to see many local sake options available. They paired perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Breakfast was a buffet featuring locally sourced ingredients with plenty of variety. The restaurant had ample seating, so we could dine comfortably without waiting while enjoying views of Lake Biwa. If I had one request, it would be helpful to have a Plan without dinner as an option—this would make it easier for guests on a Multiple Night Stay to enjoy dining out for one evening. For that reason, we changed our stay from two nights to one night this time; however, after actually staying here, it was such an excellent Hotel that we regretted not booking a Multiple Night Stay. Next time, we would definitely like to stay for multiple nights.
