This was my first stay in a year. The Room was very calming and comfortable, and I was able to truly relax. Spending both day and night on the spacious daybed—absentmindedly reading a book or gazing at the view—was the best. Soaking slowly in the large bathtub was also genuinely wonderful time. This has been the case for a while, but I always feel I’d really appreciate it if the internet connection could be improved a bit more. This time, I was able to enjoy ice cream after my bath, which was a delightful service. The food was consistently delicious as always, and the staff had a great atmosphere, making it a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much. I’d love to stay again.

It was very clean. I didn’t have any unpleasant experiences at all. Since it’s inside a building, the view from the window was understandably limited.

This was my first stay (2 nights, 3 days). Since it has only been a few months since opening, everything was clean and the Room was simple. Check-in was smooth, which was great. When I first entered the Room, I was a little confused because there was a closet in the middle of the Room. Also, the switches for the lighting and curtains were on the wall and hard to figure out at first, but design-wise it wasn’t cluttered at all, and I really liked it. The bathtub in the Room felt a bit too large (it takes time to fill with hot water). Since there were many things I didn’t understand, I ended up calling housekeeping several times. I heard that guests can use the fitness gym and pool, so I brought my shoes, workout clothes, and swimsuit. It would be nice if the gym had a few more machines. The pool is 20 meters long and the water temperature was slightly warm, making it easy to swim. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including locally sourced dishes, so I was satisfied. At check-out, the concierge arranged for me to be driven to Sapporo Station in one of the Hotel’s cars, and it ended up being three very fulfilling days.

The bath was very clean! I was surprised it wasn’t crowded even during Golden Week. The food was very delicious. Overall, I thought it was a very good Hotel.

The Room was clean and the price was affordable, so I was very satisfied. Other Reviews mentioned traffic noise, but maybe it was only when they stayed—when I stayed, it wasn’t noisy at all. There was also a drink bar, and the corn soup was very delicious. I often camp, so this stay was very comfortable for me!

The front desk staff provided courteous and pleasant service during both check-in and check-out. The complimentary services were exceptional, especially the free dinner bowls, which were the highlight of my stay. I only needed to purchase a salad and edamame from a convenience store to complete a satisfying dinner. That evening, there were curry and two types of bowls (frozen pre-packaged beef bowl and ginger pork bowl), both of which were truly delicious. The free soft drink bar even included an alcohol button, offering highballs and sours, with sake available nearby. Additionally, there were stick drinks, tea bags, soup packets, mini ramen, ochazuke packs, and bean snacks, making the service truly outstanding. However, I was disappointed not to find a cold water pitcher, which I believe is in high demand. The hotel also has an attached izakaya, which I considered visiting if I wanted more drinks. However, the loud voices of some patrons early in the evening made it uninviting, so I decided not to go. When I asked the front desk about takeout options, they mentioned it was a separate business, so they were unsure. In the end, the free bowls and drinks were more than enough, and I didn’t use the izakaya. The breakfast venue is the same izakaya, operating in a buffet style. Nearly half the seating area is used for the food stations, resulting in limited seating and potential wait times depending on the timing. When I stayed at Toyoko Inn Kurashiki, the lobby served as the breakfast area, which was quite small, but they provided takeout bento boxes for room dining, allowing for a relaxed breakfast experience. If the crowding persists, this could be a consideration for improvement. The bed in the room had a springy mattress, which I personally found uncomfortable. This was my second experience, after Cuore Kurashiki Hotel, where I bounced too much during a turn and fell off the bed. The height caused me to hit my knee hard, leaving a significant bruise. The rental services were excellent, so I would appreciate the addition of bed guards or floor impact-absorbing mats for rental. This would provide peace of mind for future stays. Despite the last-minute Reservation on the day, we received courteous service, and the Room was spacious and comfortable for our stay. I would like to use it again if there is another opportunity.

This was my first time staying here. Although construction was underway, I had a comfortable stay. The Room felt like it had been renovated from an apartment, and it was clean and well maintained. The location was convenient, and I would like to stay again.

Great value for money, and the staff were very helpful. There is no bath or toilet in the Room, but the toilet and sink were just outside the Room, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The bathing facilities were shower rooms only, but some shower room doors were hard to close. Free drinks were available (water, coffee, black tea, and tea), and I also used the first-floor café for breakfast—it was delicious. The location was a bit hard to find and I got slightly lost. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

No Meals Included, stayed with a family of six. As you can tell from the Plan, you might think this is an ultra-budget Accommodation. The location is great: there’s a supermarket and convenience stores nearby, and if you walk about 20 minutes you can reach a main road lined with well-known chain restaurants. It was a Ryokan made up of three buildings with the front desk building in between. Every building shows its age; some Rooms seem to have been renovated, but the building with the family Room—and the family Room we stayed in (a 10-tatami Japanese-style room)—has an atmosphere that some people may find off-putting. That said, the Room amenities and equipment, plus thoughtful touches for kids such as free drinks around the front desk and game facilities, along with outstanding hospitality, were impressive. For our family, the hospitality far outweighed any dissatisfaction with the Facility, and it became a Ryokan we’d like to stay at again. If I had to mention one notable complaint, it would be issues in the bath area. In the men’s bath there was one washing station that couldn’t be used; in the women’s bath there was reportedly only one washing station with hot water. (However, there are also two shower rooms available 24 hours a day separate from the baths.) Also, I personally didn’t mind it because of the low price, but there were many young guests like sports teams on trips, which apparently scared our children. This time we couldn’t use some of their signature services—such as the free alcohol bar until 10:30 p.m. or the rooftop footbath with views of Mt. Fuji—but even without those extras, for this price and level of service we would definitely like to stay again. That said as mentioned above, it may not suit those looking for a spotless Accommodation or brand-new facilities and service standards.

Stay until 8 PM and enjoy! Explore Asakusa on a sunny day, followed by illuminated shrines and temples. Take the back alley next to the Hotel, and you'll find yourself at shrines and temples. Feel the excitement with incense smoke swirling around. Savor delicious street food from stalls!

5-minute walk from Subway Shijo, with a FamilyMart diagonally across the street. Stayed in a twin room for 4 nights and 5 days during cherry blossom season, booked just 3 days in advance at an affordable price. Opted for no meals but enjoyed the basement free space where you can eat purchased food, with unlimited tea and coffee available 24/7. Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out was very helpful. The hotel is new, clean, and slippers were replaced daily—a fantastic Hotel!

The Room felt a bit small, but there was enough space to open a suitcase, and it was clean, so overall it was good. The noise in the hallway from people coming back late at night was a bit loud, but there was no noise coming through from the neighboring Room, so it was quiet. There were face masks among the amenities, which really helped because I had forgotten to bring some. All of the staff greeted us with smiles and were very polite, and when we left they even saw us off with flint and steel—an unforgettable experience that made for wonderful travel memories.
