This was a return visit. It was raining, but the covered walkway from the station to the Hotel meant I didn’t need an umbrella. The Room is refined and simply furnished. This time, there was live jazz in front of the reception area at night, which gave me a similar sense of satisfaction to when I stayed at Mesm Tokyo. The staff also provide wonderful hospitality, taking pride in working at Metropolitan Kawasaki.

I made a Reservation because the Accommodation offered an Italian dinner, a sand bath, and spacious Rooms with great views. The Room was large, had a wonderful view, and felt very clean. I also appreciated that the drinks in the refrigerator were free, including beer. There was a sand bath within the Facility, as well as a large public bath, plus one more Onsen area with indoor baths only. Inside the building there was so much to see—such as a shochu dojo, artworks, and exhibits about notable historical figures from Kagoshima—that we didn’t have enough time to take it all in. The garden was also vast and perfect for a walk. The Italian dinner was at a restaurant inside Denshokan; both the atmosphere and the food were excellent. Above all, every staff member was wonderful—this was truly an outstanding Accommodation. I would definitely like to stay again when I visit Ibusuki. Thank you very much for your hospitality. As an aside, I learned that this is also the venue for the Ryuo title match in shogi, which made me even more excited—I was moved to see where Sota Fujii sat and played.

My parents and I had a very comfortable stay. They said they would like to come again, which made me happy as the one who gave them this trip as a gift. All the staff were very courteous and attentive to every detail. We relaxed with coffee in our Room, warmed up to the core in the free-flowing Onsen, and slept soundly. Every dish was delicious. The acqua pazza, in particular, was the best I have ever had.

My mother, who stayed with me and uses a wheelchair, received thoughtful and warm support, which was a great help. I only get to see my mother, who lives far away, a few times a year. I’m truly glad we were able to spend our precious time together here in comfort and at ease. My mother was very happy as well, so we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

Both the bath and the meals were excellent. Dinner felt a little too much at first, but they kindly arranged the leftover meat into the next morning’s breakfast. The staff who took care of us were very kind, and we had a fun, relaxing stay with peace of mind. This is an Accommodation I would love to stay at again.

Having visited Yoko no Kaze before, we stayed here this year. Our family has grown, and our daughter-in-law joined us as well. They kindly prepared Rooms next to each other for us. At Kumoba Terrace, we took our time enjoying alcohol and fresh juice, and the lit bonfire and birch forest were truly soothing. In the spacious, clean Room, we relaxed in the Onsen brought from Ueda City. The cuisine was outstanding—seasonal and beautifully presented. We enjoyed everything from the scallop takikomi rice to dessert, though the portions were a bit large for me. As it was our daughter-in-law’s birthday month, we requested a surprise message plate. She was very happy, which made us glad as well. Thanks to the thoughtful staff, we were able to add another precious family memory. Thank you very much.

We stayed here a few years ago, and returned again because my husband said he “definitely wants to come back.” The welcome sweets—warabi mochi—were so delicious that we bought some as souvenirs. The tatami flooring in the corridors and even inside the elevator was very comfortable, and the open-air bath felt like soaking right in a Japanese garden. Dinner was excellent; we asked for a smaller portion, but it was more than enough. The Room was spacious, and the sunlit table by the window being a sunken kotatsu made it especially relaxing. Many Accommodations ask guests to bring towels from their Room to the public bath, so being able to go empty-handed felt wonderful. Breakfast was also very tasty. We had planned to leave at a leisurely pace, but there were thunderstorms and heavy rain from midnight onward, and we ended up driving for two hours through an intense rain band on our way home. Afterward we saw news about flooding, and we’re worried whether there was any damage to the Hotel or surrounding area. We’re already talking about coming again during apple season. Thank you very much—everything was truly delicious.

This was my first stay at Dormy Inn, a place I had always wanted to try. What I liked - The Room felt more spacious than I expected and not cramped, so it was very comfortable. - The ice cream in the post-bath area was a nice touch. - I appreciated that ice packs were available as well. - The “neba-neba” breakfast bowl was delicious. If I could have eaten more, I would have gone back for seconds. What concerned me - I couldn’t watch YouTube or similar apps on the Room TV. - The toothpaste that came with the disposable toothbrush was made in Vietnam (it was my first time seeing that). - There is a Lawson across the street, but it’s a bit of an awkward distance to both the station and places like the department store and Seicomart. - Dust in the Room stood out to me. I didn’t use it myself, but my husband went to the large public bath three times. He said the sauna was great and that it felt like a small Onsen trip. Our Room was on the same floor as the large public bath, which made it easy to go back and forth—this worked out well for us. The front desk staff were also very pleasant, and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a couple.\n\nWe had been interested in this Accommodation for some time, and after actually staying, it exceeded our expectations. Above all, the milky-white free-flowing Onsen from the source was outstanding, and soaking at a leisurely pace felt truly luxurious. We also enjoyed the private open-air bath together without any worries, which became a wonderful memory.\n\nBoth dinner and breakfast featured carefully prepared dishes that made the most of local ingredients, and we were completely satisfied with both the taste and portion sizes. Everything at both meals was delicious, and we were impressed to enjoy freshly made dishes served piping hot.\n\nThe staff’s hospitality was warm, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout our stay, making it very comfortable. We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. The Accommodation itself is compact, but the detached annex is impressive and offers plenty of space. The meals were distinctive yet delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared.

There are few restaurants and convenience stores nearby, but the in-room dining offers a family-restaurant-level selection, there is a drink bar, and the Room also has a water dispenser, so you won’t be inconvenienced at all. Even after 1:00 a.m., light meals and alcohol are available until 6:00 a.m. Both the Room and the bathroom were spacious, clean, and well stocked with amenities. However, the TV remote control responded so poorly that it was very difficult to use.

This was our first stay here to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary. I’d been wanting to visit for a while, and I found an affordable Plan, so I made a Reservation. All the Rooms looked spacious with beautiful views, so I chose the “hotel’s choice” Plan and booked without specifying a Room. When we arrived at the Hotel looking forward to our stay, we were surprised with a suite! The weather wasn’t great, but it instantly lifted our spirits. The view from the open-air bath was wonderful, and dinner was absolutely delicious. In particular, both the fish and meat dishes had amazing sauces—we finished everything between the two of us. Breakfast was also excellent, including dried fish, and I even had seconds of the clam miso soup! The staff were very kind as well. Late at night we accidentally stained the sheets due to our own mistake, but when we contacted the front desk they came right away to replace them. They reassured us repeatedly by saying “It’s okay,” and I’m truly grateful for their quick response. The Room, the view, the food, and the staff—everything was outstanding hospitality. We had a wonderful day! We’d love to visit again for another special occasion. Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night during the Obon holiday period. The front desk staff warmly welcomed us. The Room felt very new and was impeccably clean, so we had a very comfortable stay. It was great to have both yukata and pajamas available. They also quickly exchanged the yukata size for us, which was very helpful. We headed to the bath right away. The large public bath was very clean, and we loved that the shower kept running without having to press the button repeatedly! Bathing while looking at the castle was wonderful. The hair dryers in the changing area were ReFa. The muscat vinegar drink in the post-bath lounge was so delicious that even our children—who usually find fruit vinegar drinks too sour—went back for seconds. Since our Room included lounge access, we used the massage chair there, enjoyed some drinks, and felt refreshed. Also, the bed in our Room was incredibly comfortable—I may have slept better than I ever have while traveling. I think it’s a great fit for those who like pillows that are fluffy, soft, and low-profile. The next morning we had breakfast at Mimasaka Kitchen. We already knew it had a good reputation, but it exceeded our expectations—the lightly seasoned side dishes and wide variety of desserts that weren’t overly sweet were more than satisfying. Even better were the onigiri made by one of the staff members—perfectly light and fluffy—and our whole family couldn’t stop praising them. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this Accommodation. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us during our stay.

Once again, our whole family had a wonderful two-day stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive as always, and we truly appreciate it. A variety of food and drinks are also available in the lobby, which our children look forward to every time. This time as well, they were especially excited for the brown sugar buns and warabi mochi, and they were delighted. We were also very satisfied with the pool, including the slide. Both dinner and breakfast were very luxurious and made for a great time together. Thank you as always. We will definitely stay again.

I have stayed here several times, and I am always completely satisfied. The staff are kind and provide courteous service. This time, my Room was upgraded. The meals were as luxurious as could be, and after dining I was able to fully enjoy the open-air bath in my Room. It’s nearby, so I will come again for a change of pace.

We stayed again this year, following last year’s visit. This time, it was a 2-night, 3-day beach trip for three of us: an elderly couple and our granddaughter (first grade). Both on arrival and departure, the staff guided us in the parking lot, helped carry our luggage, and spoke to us kindly—this was extremely helpful. Working in this heat must be tough; thank you for all your hard work. The building was very clean, and the Room cleaning was thorough. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed dinner both nights while watching beautiful sunsets. The dinner style differed between the first and second nights: on the first night we had a kaiseki course featuring Murakami beef shabu-shabu as the main dish, and on the second night we had a seafood kaiseki course. Both the Murakami beef on day one and the crab on day two were excellent—our granddaughter finished her crab within minutes of starting dinner. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have loved even a small portion of Murakami beef on the second night as well, since it’s something you can only eat when visiting this area (though we do make use of hometown tax donations). We were originally told that dinner would be at “Kaiou” on both nights, but about 15 minutes before dinner on the second night we suddenly received notice of a venue change. The staff member apologized repeatedly; however, in a Hotel that accommodates so many guests, it actually reassured me that careful checks are being done in advance. Buffet-style dining isn’t bad, but for an elderly couple like us, having kaiseki served at just the right timing is much easier. I sincerely hope you will continue offering it. It’s also wonderful that right behind the Hotel is a beach with excellent access: after leaving the beach we could rinse off sand at the outdoor showers and head straight to the Onsen. There was even a washing machine available to rinse swimsuits—truly convenient. After soaking in the Onsen, all three of us relaxed in the lobby while enjoying complimentary Momotaro ice pops. On day two, when we asked at reception for advice so we could enjoy swimming at Sasagawa Nagare Beachline area more fully—including which beach and where to park—they kindly helped us with great care. There was also plenty of information we couldn’t get from checking with AI beforehand; combining both made our trip even more enjoyable. Local knowledge really is invaluable. On our final day as well—at our granddaughter’s request—we enjoyed swimming until mid-afternoon before rinsing off sand in the shower and saltiness in the Onsen prior to heading home. Driving back to Tokyo after swimming was tiring, but it became a fulfilling trip full of wonderful memories. If my stamina holds up, I’d love to come again next year. Thank you very much.

The hospitality and the restaurant cuisine were outstanding in every respect. Their attentive, courteous communication before our stay left a strong impression, and on the day of our visit, everyone—from the seasoned staff to the younger team members—provided genuinely pleasant service. If you want a reliably excellent experience in Karuizawa, HIRAMATSU is without doubt the place to choose.

Beppu for the first time in a year—and GAHAMA Terrace. Nothing to complain about; we had a very comfortable stay. I really do love this place. I also love the view from the maisonette—being at eye level with the sea is wonderful—but it might be better if the plants were trimmed a bit. I know they grow back quickly in summer, so it may be difficult, but from inside, having the ocean fill the entire window is simply perfect. We’ll visit again when it gets cooler. GAHAMA is amazing, and Beppu is amazing too.
