We were welcomed at the entrance, completed a seated check-in, and when we arrived on our Room floor, the lovely aroma (bergamot) made us feel wonderful. Our Room was upgraded for us. The open-air bath in the Room was spacious and very relaxing. The large public bath was also excellent. Dinner was delicious from start to finish. The Shimane wine as an aperitif was so good that we also had a glass of white wine—and the tasting of three local sakes was outstanding. The meal included wagyu simmered in wine, simmered nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch), Shimane wagyu shabu-shabu, and unameshi—all incredibly tasty. I was completely full and thought I could only manage dessert, but I ended up finishing everything. So full! Breakfast was also wonderful—the freshly grilled overnight-dried conger eel was amazing. And my favorite treat, the shijimi clam miso soup, had large clams and a light flavor; it naturally made me let out an “ah,” like something out of Bakébaké-style folklore. All of the staff were polite and kind, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. It turned into a great trip, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I stayed at Dormy Inn Aomori on a solo trip. I often use a Business Hotel when traveling alone, but this Hotel was far too wonderful to be called just a Business Hotel. First, the breakfast: a buffet with many local dishes—I ended up eating more than I should in the morning. Next, the baths: the water was very pleasant, and there is also an open-air bath and a sauna. I was disappointed to see a foreign parent and child soaking and throwing towels in the tub, but aside from that I could relax at ease. It was also fun to enjoy the complimentary ice cream while looking at the night view after bathing, and the late-night soba service was great as well. With smaller noodles and a light broth, even an elderly woman like me could enjoy it. It’s about a 7-minute walk from Aomori Station. The route is straight so it’s easy not to get lost, and it was convenient that there is an airport bus stop right in front of the Hotel. The male front desk staff were also very kind. Overall I was extremely satisfied except for a faint smell of cigarette smoke in my Room. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here a few years ago, and returned again because my husband said he “definitely wants to come back.” The welcome sweets—warabi mochi—were so delicious that we bought some as souvenirs. The tatami flooring in the corridors and even inside the elevator was very comfortable, and the open-air bath felt like soaking right in a Japanese garden. Dinner was excellent; we asked for a smaller portion, but it was more than enough. The Room was spacious, and the sunlit table by the window being a sunken kotatsu made it especially relaxing. Many Accommodations ask guests to bring towels from their Room to the public bath, so being able to go empty-handed felt wonderful. Breakfast was also very tasty. We had planned to leave at a leisurely pace, but there were thunderstorms and heavy rain from midnight onward, and we ended up driving for two hours through an intense rain band on our way home. Afterward we saw news about flooding, and we’re worried whether there was any damage to the Hotel or surrounding area. We’re already talking about coming again during apple season. Thank you very much—everything was truly delicious.

This was our first trip as a couple, and we made a Reservation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Since we’re not very experienced travelers, we were nervous at first, but the Ryokan staff were so kind and friendly that our worries quickly disappeared. I’m not usually comfortable with open-air baths, but I worked up the courage to try—and it was truly relaxing and soothing. The changing area was clean and easy to use as well. And the meals we had been looking forward to exceeded all expectations—I was genuinely satisfied from the bottom of my heart! Everything was delicious. There was venison tataki, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but it had no strong taste at all and was truly wonderful. Our attendant explained each dish carefully, which helped us appreciate the ingredients even more—thank you so much. What made us even happier was that they took photos for our anniversary and gave them to us as a gift when we left. The handwritten letter from the proprietress also deeply moved me. This is the first time my heart has felt this full—just like my stomach! We are filled with gratitude for everyone’s thoughtfulness, kindness, and warm support. We will definitely come back again! Thank you very much for everything.

Since guests remove their shoes at the entrance, the floors throughout the property are very clean. You can choose your preferred brands of shampoo, conditioner, face wash, etc., select from pillows of various heights and firmness levels, and there is a wide range of samue loungewear sizes. You can also take your favorite drinks—from alcohol to soft drinks—back to your Room. The Room layout is very practical, and no matter where I wiped with an alcohol wipe, there was absolutely no dirt. It was very comfortable. The bath had shower heads such as ReFa and Mirable. If there were more dinner menu options, it would be perfect.

This Accommodation let us fully enjoy both the sea and the Onsen. The sound of the waves heard from the tatami Room was truly, truly soothing—it was a Room that made us want to keep watching and listening forever, and to stay longer. From arrival to departure, every staff member was kind and attentive. We were able to enjoy the meals, drinks, and even late-night ramen. There wasn’t a single thing to complain about—this is a place we absolutely want to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

I recently stayed at Yoshiharu, which I had been looking forward to for a long time. After reading Reviews on various sites, I decided to stay here for my trip to Izu—and it was absolutely the right choice. While waiting to check in after arriving at the Ryokan, we were offered complimentary drinks and sweets, and then we were given a thorough tour of the property. With five private hot-spring baths, a large public bath with a sauna, massage chairs, and a lounge space available morning and night (soft drinks, coffee, café au lait, tea, etc.), there are so many Facilities that the guided tour helped us enjoy everything to the fullest. The food was of course delicious—the Koshihikari rice was excellent, and the abalone was outstanding!! As others have said as well, this is truly an Accommodation you’ll want to visit again in another season. I will definitely be back.

I’m writing this because it was so good! I booked at the last minute because the price was reasonable. It was much better than I expected. The Room is standard, but clean and comfortable. Parking is free and spacious! Having a laundry area was also very helpful. Unlimited access to Korona no Yu was great, and the game center is right there for easy fun. The food at the Onsen Facility’s dining area was delicious too! I also appreciated being able to rent manga. Joyfull on the first floor is convenient as well. If I had to ask for one thing, it would be a convenience store on-site (there is one within walking distance!). I’d like to stay here again if I ever go to Toyokawa.

I stayed here with my mother and nephew on a trip for three. We were able to relax in a separate Room, and we could also borrow colorful yukata. This trip was to help cheer up my mother before she begins medical treatment, so it was truly wonderful. Breakfast was gently seasoned, and it seemed my mother was able to enjoy plenty of it as well. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

The best part has to be the amenity buffet in front of the lobby. They have not only toner and lotion, but also nose pads, eyeglass wipes, and even items for reducing foot swelling. It’s also nice that they offer drip coffee and tea. Toner and similar items are also available in the large public bath area, along with several types of shampoo and conditioner. The large public bath and sauna are a bit small, but more than sufficient if you avoid peak times. The sauna is set quite hot, and you can relax and fully enjoy the cold tub as well. The vending machine area is well stocked too. There’s an “otsumami” snack gacha, freshly baked bread, and drinks; beer and chu-hai are sold at regular prices or slightly cheaper, which is very helpful. Since it’s located in Americamura (Amemura), it can feel a bit unsafe if you go out at night, but there’s no need to worry because almost everything can be done within the Hotel. The staff are polite as well, and I expect I’ll stay here again.

I stay here every time I visit Izumo. I knew there was a washing machine and dryer in the changing room, but I assumed they were mainly for long-term guests. This time, my clothes got dirty due to an unexpected issue and I was in trouble—then I remembered the laundry facilities and used them for the first time. The washing machine is free, and the dryer costs 100 yen for 20 minutes. The stains came out and everything finished beautifully. It truly helped me a lot. Thank you very much.

Because my husband is from Nagaoka, we come from Tokyo to Niigata every year during the Obon season. Our usual routine is to go swimming at Kakudahama Beach first, then stay at Hotel Asuka. The made-to-order dinner buffet is delicious, and the food comes out quickly. The dishes you can pick up anytime are also great, so I always end up eating too much. Both the long-time staff and the newer team members are truly pleasant and welcoming—it makes me feel at home. This is my favorite hotel that I look forward to visiting every year. We’ll be back again next year, so thank you in advance.

I was in Atami for work for the first time in a while, and I wanted to enjoy an Onsen, so after looking around I chose this place. From Atami Station to the nearest station, Imaihama-Kaigan Station, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes via the Ito Line and Izukyu Line, and it’s about a 3-minute walk from Imaihama-Kaigan Station to the Ryokan—very convenient. Rather than a typical Ryokan, it truly feels like a hideaway, just as the name Ittoan suggests. The lighting is kept slightly dim, creating a calm atmosphere. Dinner was served in a bright private dining room, and the contrast between light and shadow was wonderful. The staff member in charge—who said they started working here five months ago—explained each dish and kindly chatted with us for a while. There were many dishes, all delicious of course, but what impressed me most was the simmered splendid alfonsino served as a whole fish; it was my first time seeing it like that, and both the presentation and taste were unforgettable. They recommended rice porridge as a late-night meal, but I was far too full this time. I could use a private open-air bath for 50 minutes free of charge; I chose “Akibiyori” and was surprised by how spacious it was and how many trees surrounded it. If you think of the open-air bath area as the first floor, there is an upper level that feels like a reclining bath area on the second floor, so I could enjoy going back and forth between them. It felt more spacious than the large public bath area (ofuro), allowing me to fully relax. Breakfast was also luxurious. Both dinner and breakfast are Japanese-style meals with some Western touches, which I really liked. The Room was spacious, Wi-Fi worked without needing a password, completely stress-free. Everything—absolutely everything—was wonderful here, but above all else، the staff’s courteous yet friendly manner truly reflects what makes this inn special. Unfortunately it was cloudy with rain during my stay، so as I boarded my train home، I promised myself I would return next time under clear blue skies.

We chose the assigned Room, and it was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous, offering us drinks and even taking photos for us after checkout, which made us feel truly welcomed. As part of the Accommodation was under renovation, they apologized for any inconvenience and even gave us some sweets. We would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 77th birthday. All the staff were incredibly kind, and the Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Above all, the breakfast was delicious, and our whole family had a wonderful time. We’re truly glad we chose this place. Thank you for such a lovely memory!

I have stayed at many Hotels and Ryokan with ocean views, but this was one of the most memorable. The views from the Room and the open-air bath were outstanding—thanks to the Hotel’s hilltop location with nothing obstructing the scenery, as well as the serene beauty of the Seto Inland Sea itself. There are very few man-made structures nearby, and the landscape created by the scattered islands is truly stunning. In the distance, we could see bridges of the Shimanami Kaido and parts of Imabari’s townscape, while boats passing below from time to time added a lovely touch to the view. I felt this Hotel is well worth staying at even just to relax and take in this scenery. Because it was listed as “Casual” on IKYU, I initially imagined a standard Hotel that simply highlights its views. In reality, however, we experienced warm, unpretentious hospitality from all staff members. Dinner was not a typical set menu; it showed thoughtful creativity throughout and was delicious. Breakfast was buffet-style, and in particular, I still remember how wonderful the locally harvested blueberries were. This time we rented a car at Hiroshima Station: on our first night we stayed at a Ryokan on Etajima; on day two we toured Takehara before taking a ferry over and enjoying beautiful Setouchi island views from Mount Kamimine prior to check-in. The next day we visited Okunoshima to spend time with its rabbits, then headed home via Mihara to Hiroshima Airport. The Hotel was also extremely convenient as a base for sightseeing routes starting from Hiroshima City toward Kure, Takehara, and Mihara—and we were fully satisfied with every aspect: scenery, dining, and hospitality.

On June 8, my spouse and I met friends from Kumamoto and had a great time eating and drinking together. They upgraded our Room to a higher grade, and my sauna-loving husband was very satisfied. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Since we live nearby, we enjoy staying here as a couple whenever our schedule allows. My husband is especially happy because the Room has an Onsen bath. The meals are just the right amount for us, and we also enjoyed the chicken rice. I personally prefer the large public bath because I want to soak in a bigger Onsen.

Relax in the Onsen, enjoy delicious meals, soak your feet in the footbath while drinking milk, and take your time admiring the stunning view through the large window from the Room. It was truly wonderful. The food was excellent; every dish was prepared with care by the head chef, and even the tableware was beautiful. The course meal came in just the right portions, and everything tasted great. The breakfast buffet was also all handmade with rich, thoughtful flavors. The Onsen was clean and well maintained, and I went in many times. The staff service was outstanding as well. Their spirit of hospitality showed even in the smallest details, and the service was excellent. My companion was very satisfied too. I felt it’s a Hotel where adults can relax and enjoy a luxurious stay. The 4.6-star rating wasn’t a lie. Unfortunately we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji this time, so I’ll visit again. It was also amazing to lie down and watch the clouds move through a picture-frame-like window. It really is a great Hotel.

The views from the window—an unmanned station and the sea—were beautiful, and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. Every dish was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the crab and shrimp. The Accommodation was quiet throughout, with a soothing atmosphere that made time feel as if it were gently passing by, allowing us to forget everyday life and truly unwind. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again in a different season.
