This was my third visit to Itoshima, the first in two years. Last time, after heavy rain the day before, it suddenly turned into a midsummer day, and the breathtaking sunset—changing moment by moment against the vast ocean—was truly moving. I enjoyed delicious food and the relaxed pace that only an all-inclusive stay can offer. This time had a different atmosphere and some changes. Arriving in a downpour with luggage, I climbed the stone steps to check in. What surprised me right away was “10:00 checkout”! I never expected it to be an hour earlier—maybe a pitfall of being a repeat guest? I was told it was changed because lunch service starts at 11:00 with reservations… but 10:00 still feels far too early. Since we spend about four hours round trip for an overnight stay, we want to relax as much as possible. If possible, I hope you will consider setting check-in to 16:00 and returning checkout to 11:00—I would be glad if this request from repeat guests reaches you. This time we dined while watching the post-rain evening scenery, and the food was just as delicious as ever—I was very satisfied. The soup course in particular had wonderful Japanese dashi flavor and was deeply comforting, and the tempura made from fresh squid (prepared after sashimi) was especially appreciated; as someone who loves cooking at home, having a professional fry dishes is a real treat. It was also disappointing not to see any of the staff members from previous visits. The photo shows “Itoshima Bay—an evening view after the rain.”

With few days off in my usual routine, I booked this Accommodation at short notice because I wanted to relax in an Onsen for the first time in a while, and it turned out to be excellent value for money. The whole place has a strong Showa-era vibe, which felt pleasantly nostalgic to someone born in that era. They prepared a private dining room for us, and our family enjoyed a delicious meal together—both the quality and quantity were more than enough. We were also very satisfied with all the baths: the open-air bath attached to our Room, the large public bath, the outdoor Onsen bath, and even the private bath with karaoke. We could truly unwind. If I visit the Nagano area again, I’d like to stay here again.

The refreshing host was truly soothing and put me at ease. They kindly accommodated my special meal requests, and the draft beer served in an ice-cold beer mug was excellent. This is an Accommodation I would love to stay at again.

I’m very satisfied again. I’d like to stay here again next time.

Sorry for the late Review, but the hostess asked me to leave one, so here it is (lol). From the entrance, the calm atmosphere was wonderful! We didn’t go into the sea this time, but the beach right in front was crowded. There’s a great photo spot right next door, so we took lots of pictures with the sunset! It’s also beautifully lit up at night. Since there are only a few Rooms, we had a very comfortable stay. The large public bath and open-air bath are available anytime, and late at night we could use them almost privately—the sea breeze felt amazing. We also used the in-room bath morning and night, and it was very relaxing. Meals are served in semi-private dining spaces, so we could eat at our own pace. The portions were satisfying even for a man, and everything was delicious! It had a homey feel, and all of the staff provided great service. Thank you as well for giving my girlfriend a small gift when we were leaving! We’d love to come back in winter for crab!

I stayed for 2 nights. I had made separate 1-night Reservations for the same Room type on different dates through different sites, so I called about a week before my stay to ask if they could treat it as a Multiple Night Stay, and they kindly agreed. However, when I tried to check in on the day, it was not set up as a Multiple Night Stay. Still, although it took some time, they arranged it so I could stay in the same Room for both nights, which was very helpful. The Hotel was clean. The sink and bath area were compact but not an issue. The refrigerator worked well too. My Room was near the elevator, but I hardly noticed any noise from the hallway. Overall, my stay was very comfortable.

We stayed in the annex for one night with breakfast and dinner included. We had heard that we could bring our road bike into the Room, and we also mentioned it when making the Reservation; they kindly accommodated us. It’s a bit far from the port, so it was tough on our exhausted bodies after cycling the Shimanami Kaido, but the Onsen helped us relax. For dinner, we chose oyster fries for an additional 1,000 yen. They were incredibly delicious. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

We used the accommodation for sightseeing by car on three islands in Ehime. It was difficult to find an accommodation with meals included, especially the day before our stay, but we were lucky to secure a reservation. The price was very reasonable, and although we didn’t expect luxurious meals initially, the food provided exceeded our expectations and was incredibly satisfying. The dishes included sashimi, simmered sea bream head, fried sea bream, side dishes, and more. We were amazed that the sea bream rice was all-you-can-eat! Not only for dinner but also for breakfast, sea bream rice was served—such variety at such an affordable price is unbelievable. If we have another chance, we would love to stay again. Thank you very much!

Being able to enjoy so many iwana dishes served at the table was truly appreciated! I was tired of buffets, so I really enjoyed the grilled iwana, iwana sushi, and sashimi—plenty of iwana in every form. I didn’t expect to have miso dengaku-style grilled iwana for dinner the next day as well, and it was delicious—I was so happy! The Onsen also left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The indoor bath and the semi-circular open-air bath were both wonderful. All of the staff seemed to get along well and were kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease. The shop also had tasty items like soba noodles, sweets, and snacks (such as hoya), so I was happy to be able to buy souvenirs too. Thank you very much for taking care of us! I’ll definitely come back for the iwana料理 and Onsen again. Since it’s located up in the mountains, a Multiple Night Stay is recommended for anyone who wants to relax slowly in peace and quiet.

As I travel around a lot, I often stay at Route Inn. The Route Inn in Ube had a great bath, and I was able to relax. The front desk staff handled check-in efficiently, which was very helpful. At breakfast, I noticed some guests wearing loungewear or the thin white Room slippers, and it felt a bit inappropriate. Even though there wasn’t any notice about it, I think it might lower the Hotel’s overall atmosphere, so it may be better to avoid that. Breakfast was delicious—especially the rolled omelet, which wasn’t sweet and was excellent. Thank you very much.

As the Hotel has been renovated, it was very clean. It was the largest Hotel within walking distance to convenience stores and restaurants, and having a washing machine in the room was extremely helpful. For us, who went out during the day and only slept at the Hotel, it was the best choice. The sink area was spacious enough, and even with only a shower Facility, it was more than sufficient. We skipped breakfast on the first day because we planned to go eat Miyako soba for lunch, but both the daily curry and taco rice were filling and delicious. We visited Miyako Yokocho on the first floor as our second stop; there were many different shops and it was great, but since there are so many options, I thought it would be better if it worked like a food court rather than requiring separate payments at each shop. If we go to Miyakojima again, we would like to stay here again.

This accommodation features a charming corridor connecting the front desk to the rooms. All rooms come with an open-air bath. There are rooms with city views and mountain views; this time, we stayed in a mountain-view room called "Kasuga," which was a combination of Japanese and Western styles (8-tatami mat alcove + 6-tatami Western-style room with two beds). The open-air bath was not very large but sufficient for two people. When we tried to use the open-air bath right after check-in, we found a centipede in it. Since the area outside is surrounded by nature, it couldn't be helped... However, when we informed the staff, they promptly cleaned and replaced the water for us, which was great. Dinner was served at the dining area as an Irori Kaiseki meal! Everything was delicious! We were very satisfied. Breakfast might feel slightly lacking for some guests. Although there is WiFi in the room, it’s weak and disconnects frequently—this needs improvement. A floor plan of the facility or room layout would be helpful inside each room. It would also be nice to have menus and tariffs for additional dinner dishes or drinks available in advance in each room since we only learned about additional dishes later on. It would be convenient to have an extra set of towels and bath towels since guests also visit public baths within the facility. Roomwear that separates into top-and-bottom pieces like samue would also be appreciated—it wouldn’t come undone easily and could even be worn to meals at dining areas. The staff members are incredibly kind and attentive! Overall, this accommodation provides a highly satisfying experience! It’s definitely worth revisiting! Next time, I’d like to stay in one of their city-view rooms!

Stayed in a dormitory. The room, bed, and shower room were all clean and well maintained. The lounge with an attached kitchen was spacious and comfortable. The foreign front desk staff were also pleasant and helpful. Affordable rates and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

I chose this Hotel because it is close to Shigira Beach. After 7:00 PM, I could not reach them by phone. My car navigation stopped guiding me, so I had to look for the Hotel in the dark. I can’t compare it with Santa Monica, but I had no complaints about the Hotel. After breakfast, I changed into my swimsuit, threw on a beach parka, and headed to the nearby sea. After snorkeling, I wiped off the seawater, changed from marine shoes to sandals, returned to the Hotel, and was happy that I could soak in the bathtub before checkout. Since breakfast is served at Santa Monica, it would be unpleasant if it’s raining. That may be why there is a price difference.

A memorable Hotel where we stayed as a family. We stayed again for the first time in over a decade. The Room seemed to have been renovated, and compared to our previous stay it had a chic, more mature atmosphere. With an ocean view, the sound of the waves and wind and the calls of birds became background music—it was incredibly relaxing. The staff were also friendly and welcoming with warm smiles. We will definitely come back to stay again.

Despite the rising accommodation prices in Okinawa, I was very satisfied with the reasonable rates, clean and spacious rooms, and above all, the warm smiles of the staff. The breakfast offered a variety of choices; I opted for the "Okinawan Breakfast" on both days, which was hearty and full of Okinawan flavors. Although available for a limited time, there is also a large public bath. The front desk operates 24 hours, so even if you stay out late in Koza, you can feel at ease. The location is excellent for fully enjoying Koza's nightlife. Thank you very much!

The price was reasonable, the night view from the Room was amazing, and the large Onsen bath was great, so we were very satisfied. Breakfast used local ingredients and tasted excellent—no complaints at all. The entrance and exit to the underground parking are a bit narrow, so those who aren’t confident drivers should be careful.

At first, the building’s age made me wonder if it might be a letdown, but everything was very clean, the food was delicious, and the service was courteous. I was very satisfied. I’d like to stay again when I’m in the area.

Everything was wonderful. What impressed me the most was the staff. They were always smiling and did their best to help, which made my stay very comfortable. The meals were delicious, but the rice at breakfast was too firm for me to eat... I think it’s just a matter of preference, but I ended up leaving some (sorry). If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This trip was mainly for the Onsen, and the bath was excellent. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to come again, but it’s an Accommodation that makes me want to stay again.
