It’s right next to Ageki Station on the Sangi Railway Hokusei Line—just steps after you get off. There’s also a convenience store beside the station. This time, three of us (a family) stayed here. The room size felt just right for two adults. Most amenities are provided. There are also outdoor hammocks and a table with chairs, which looked useful, but unfortunately it rained during our stay and the wooden deck was soaked, so we didn’t use them. Cooking in the in-room kitchen is basically limited to simple microwave meals. There are cups, but no plates. The toilet and shower area were very clean. The service was excellent—the front desk staff were very kind. Also, in the early morning there is a time-limited sauna area at Ageki Onsen that is opened exclusively for guests. Even if you don’t use the sauna, you can relax in the lounge while enjoying locally produced tea, which was nice. Just one thing: the main bath closes at 21:00 and reopens at 10:00 the next morning, and guests can only use it during those same hours, which is a bit inconvenient. Ageki Onsen has various facilities and seems like a place where you could spend time slowly and comfortably, so next time I’d like to set aside about half a day to enjoy it as well.

The twin room was spacious and comfortable, with an Onsen in the room's bathtub. Although I couldn't use the open-air bath due to light rain and chilly weather, the large public bath with natural hot spring water was excellent. The stay included breakfast, which was satisfying in both quality and quantity. However, the first-floor area felt dimly lit at night, creating a somewhat lonely atmosphere.

I stayed at the accommodation during my year-end vacation. Located at the end of a narrow road, the accommodation had a charming atmosphere. The room was more like a separate cottage than an annex, giving off a nostalgic vacation home vibe. The meals were light and delicious, which I personally appreciated very much. The room also had a semi-open-air bath with pleasant water quality. The large public bath was spacious and open, and there was also a sauna; however, the temperature was on the lower side, which was slightly disappointing as I couldn't fully enjoy it. Overall, while the accommodation felt somewhat old-fashioned, it offered a quiet and relaxing stay with excellent onsen facilities. I would love to visit again!

We stayed at the accommodation for a three-generation trip, as it was strongly requested by our grandchild. We didn't see any other Japanese guests during our stay. If we were more fluent in English, it would have been an even more enjoyable experience. We had breakfast at the attached café in the morning. Both the accommodation and café were stylishly designed and lovely places to be. The shower room was clean, though there was no bathtub. However, as Japanese people, especially seniors, we do miss soaking in a bath.

I stay here about three times a year, and from next time, please book me on a No Meals Included plan.

This accommodation features a charming corridor connecting the front desk to the rooms. All rooms come with an open-air bath. There are rooms with city views and mountain views; this time, we stayed in a mountain-view room called "Kasuga," which was a combination of Japanese and Western styles (8-tatami mat alcove + 6-tatami Western-style room with two beds). The open-air bath was not very large but sufficient for two people. When we tried to use the open-air bath right after check-in, we found a centipede in it. Since the area outside is surrounded by nature, it couldn't be helped... However, when we informed the staff, they promptly cleaned and replaced the water for us, which was great. Dinner was served at the dining area as an Irori Kaiseki meal! Everything was delicious! We were very satisfied. Breakfast might feel slightly lacking for some guests. Although there is WiFi in the room, it’s weak and disconnects frequently—this needs improvement. A floor plan of the facility or room layout would be helpful inside each room. It would also be nice to have menus and tariffs for additional dinner dishes or drinks available in advance in each room since we only learned about additional dishes later on. It would be convenient to have an extra set of towels and bath towels since guests also visit public baths within the facility. Roomwear that separates into top-and-bottom pieces like samue would also be appreciated—it wouldn’t come undone easily and could even be worn to meals at dining areas. The staff members are incredibly kind and attentive! Overall, this accommodation provides a highly satisfying experience! It’s definitely worth revisiting! Next time, I’d like to stay in one of their city-view rooms!

One night with breakfast and dinner I stayed here on the final day of my journey of land purification and integration. This seaside Accommodation offers an Onsen bath, delicious meals, and warm hospitality from the owner. Thank you very much.

The price is very reasonable for the Obon holiday period. The Onsen is also great. It was convenient to park the car right in front of the cottage.

On my first visit to Shima Onsen, I had planned to arrive early and do some sightseeing, but due to heavy rain, I ended up waiting until check-in—thank you very much for accommodating me. The Room was very clean and more spacious than I expected. The in-room bath was at the perfect temperature, and I used it many times, which helped relieve my everyday fatigue. I made a Reservation with No Meals Included, but the à la carte dinner was also delicious, and the service was courteous. With an 11:00 check-out, you can take your time, and since you just return the Room key and leave, it feels casual and easygoing—perfect for someone like me who isn’t comfortable with the formal hospitality and send-offs typical of long-established Ryokan.

I stayed one night in Ueda while traveling from Tokyo to Kanazawa. It looks far more stylish than in the photos. I expected a renovated Hotel in an older building, but I was impressed from the moment I stepped into the front desk area, and I also loved the calm atmosphere of the Room. On top of that, the large public bath and sauna were truly outstanding. Every item at the attached bakery looked delicious, and quite a few people came just to buy bread. This is a highly satisfying Hotel that makes you want to stop by Ueda whenever you visit the Nagano area. Because I hope it continues to become an even better Hotel, my only request is this: while I was happy with the breakfast bread selection at the restaurant, I’d like to see a bit more effort put into both the dinner menu and some of the finer details.

We really enjoyed a variety of fish and left feeling completely satisfied. Breakfast was refreshing, with a menu that was a little different from other Accommodations. The Onsen can be reserved for private use, so we were able to relax and really enjoyed it.

It’s about a 20-minute drive to Takachiho Gorge, but we chose Kijiya because it’s an onsen Accommodation. We had reserved the first boat ride at Takachiho Gorge the next morning, so we stayed with dinner only. Dinner was delicious, with salt-grilled yamame trout, sashimi, tempura, and more. As expected, the onsen was wonderful. We checked out early in the morning, but it’s a great Accommodation where you can truly relax.

The breakfast was generous and very delicious.

I stay here for a few days on a Multiple Night Stay once or twice a year. The shampoo and body soap could be better, but the attentiveness and consideration from the front desk staff and housekeeping team were truly excellent. Although I usually visit during the off-season, considering the location, I think the value for money is unbeatable.

I stayed for two nights, and the best part was that drinks were free all the time with the all-inclusive plan. I didn’t go out anywhere and just enjoyed the Onsen and drinks, which was perfect.

The location is between Gojo Station and Shijo Station, with excellent access to Kyoto Station and central areas like Karasuma Oike. Since the hotel is newly opened, the facilities are clean. Being Thai-owned, the interior features Thai motifs, and there are playful touches like nostalgic Japanese posters. The room is compact, but the lounge is spacious, and with so many places to visit in Kyoto, it's not an issue. If you are uncomfortable undressing in the toilet, you might want to be cautious. The only disappointment was that the TV did not support mirroring. I was looking forward to watching videos on the hotel's large screen... It's a nice point that you can choose breakfast from Thai, Western, and Japanese cuisine. I chose pho, and it was a gentle taste, perfect for the morning. Perhaps not well-known among Japanese yet, most guests were foreigners. I was very satisfied with the stay at such a reasonable price!

The front desk staff were helpful, and the Room was clean and nice.\nWhat was disappointing was that the open-air bath was unavailable, and it would have been better if the Room air conditioner temperature could be adjusted more precisely.

The building is old but kept clean, so there were no issues. The bath includes an open-air bath where you can relax while enjoying the night sky and ocean in a private setting. Dinner was very hearty, featuring Chita beef, Ise lobster, sashimi, sushi, and octopus rice—truly satisfying. The buffet-style breakfast was also delicious. The staff at the accommodation were extremely kind. The fluffy and warm futon was excellent as well. The return shuttle service felt like a thrilling roller coaster ride! I had a wonderful time and fully enjoyed my stay. I would love to come back again. Thank you very much!

Honestly, I liked it so much that I almost don’t want to spread the word through Reviews (lol). This time, I prioritized access from the station and price, and since my stay was short, I made a Reservation with almost no expectations for the Hotel. But in the best way possible, it completely exceeded them. All of the staff are simply wonderful. Stylish but not pretentious, with a comfortable sense of distance—they naturally check in on you at just the right moments. The amenities in front of reception are well stocked, and you can select everything you need. They even have pajamas, and the amenities selection is so complete you’ll think, “Is there anything missing?”! The welcome tea set made me go, “Wait—why is this so stylish?” Everything was delicious. You can really feel how much care went into that welcome tea set. Absolutely amazing! The burgers at the first-floor café were also surprisingly good. Room service hours had already ended, so I had one for lunch instead! I didn’t use it this time, but apparently there’s all-you-can-drink beer from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM!! And above all, the handwritten guide introducing Yanesen around the Hotel was fantastic. It’s handmade by staff and covers everything from restaurants to cafés to sightseeing spots—you can truly feel their desire for guests to enjoy the neighborhood. Depending on your purpose, a Hotel often ends up being just a place to sleep—but here, for the first time in a while, I felt that “staying at the Hotel itself is fun.” …That said, I kind of don’t want it to become too famous and crowded (lol). Next time I’m in Tokyo, I definitely want to stay here again.

I stayed here to attend a friend’s wedding in Noda City. Although the Facility is a bit old, the Room was spacious and comfortable. The complimentary morning box came with warm side dishes and was delicious.
