We stayed as a family of five. The location was easy to find, situated in an area with hotels near Keino Matsubara Beach. The facility was very clean and comfortable; we enjoyed tennis during the day and the sauna at night! The onsen left our skin feeling smooth, and the kids were thrilled. This is definitely an accommodation we will revisit. One night wasn't enough, so next time we'll stay for two nights or more!

Both the room and shared spaces were very clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful, and there were many items available for free use, making it excellent value for money. However, towels are not provided, so please bring your own.

Stayed at the accommodation after a long time. The quality of the room, the garden view from the window—everything was truly wonderful. The location is also excellent. Additionally, it felt like the service has improved significantly compared to before. I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. I was delighted to receive a stollen for Christmas as well. To escape Tokyo’s heat after the rainy season, I stayed at this Accommodation near Lake Nojiri for two nights. In short, it was a wonderful experience. Needless to say, the Facility is brand-new and newly opened, and the unobstructed, majestic views of Mt. Myoko and Mt. Kurohime from the Room felt almost unreal. Above all, I was truly moved by the outstanding hospitality of everyone at the Hotel. I have quite a few food dislikes, and they kindly prepared special dishes to accommodate my requests—I’m sincerely grateful. The meals still made generous use of local ingredients, and every dish was excellent. I also enjoyed watching the food being prepared right in front of me, followed by a lively conversation with the chef afterward. On a day when I had to leave early and couldn’t have breakfast at the Hotel, they instead made hearty onigiri for me to take along. I feel that with just one night you might not be able to fully experience everything this Hotel offers, so if possible I recommend staying two nights or more. I would love to visit again in another season. I often use IKYU for Accommodation Reservations, but after this stay I felt compelled to write a comment for the first time.

Stayed for one night over the weekend. Reserved the heated pool and spent the entire stay enjoying it morning, noon, and night. In the evening, we had a BBQ, and in the morning, we cooked with locally sourced ingredients using bread purchased from a nearby bakery. The view of trees, pool, sea, blue sky through glass windows, and even the sound of Enoden trains created an extraordinary atmosphere that felt luxurious. The room was well-equipped with magazines, pool toys, a Switch console, dishes and glasses, cooking utensils, a jacuzzi—everything you could need—making time fly by. I would love to visit again!

We visited for a family trip to celebrate my father's recovery. It was wonderful that we could stay with our dog and enjoy quality time together as a family. The facility was well-equipped, with billiards and golf simulation providing lots of fun! The kitchen facilities were so well-prepared, like a cooking class setup, allowing us to enjoy cooking together. We are grateful for the wonderful time we had and would love to visit again during the New Year holidays. One small suggestion: curtains would have been appreciated.

The hospitality of the staff is exceptional. The meals are fresh, plentiful, and prepared with great care—absolutely outstanding. The amount of crab was so generous that I couldn't finish it, which I felt truly sorry about. Breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options to enjoy. The service was top-notch as well. The sauna and fitness machines are well-equipped, making it a thoroughly excellent Facility.

We had a wonderful two-day stay. Upon arrival, we were guided to our room with a detailed explanation, and the room located on an elevated spot offered a stunning view. I booked the Anniversary Plan to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday, and he was delighted with the decorations and cake—it was worth making the reservation. The meals were plentiful, leaving us completely satisfied when we left the accommodation. The atmosphere seemed enjoyable even in colder seasons, so we would love to visit again. We noticed many international staff members, but everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. Amenities, pajamas, and welcome drinks were also well provided. It was a comfortable Room even for our 80-year-old parents. If I had to mention anything: the water dispenser wasn’t cooling properly; the jacuzzi temperature control was broken; since we brought our own ingredients, there was only the unit bath faucet for washing up; and there was no shared restroom outside. If those points are resolved, it would be even more comfortable. Overall, however, the staff responded quickly and politely, and it really helped that they brought what we needed right away. We could see their attitude of continuing to improve and make things better. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the opportunity. Thank you for your hospitality.

The sunset and sunrise were absolutely wonderful. The Onsen was also very nice. Even after we got close to the Accommodation, we couldn’t find it and had to look around. Since the Accommodation wasn’t listed on our car’s navigation system, we asked a local and were able to find it.

The staff member who took care of both dinner and breakfast was very pleasant. Also, at check-out, since both taxis and buses were crowded, they kindly drove us instead. We truly appreciate their flexible support. The bath was also excellent! Thank you for your hospitality. We would like to visit again.

The location, room, and service were all excellent. I will stay here when I visit Ginza.

A beautiful Hotel comprising a former Russian Consulate built over 100 years ago and, behind it, a newly constructed wellness wing designed by Makoto Nakayama. The staff kindly explained the building’s history and the vision behind its renovation into a Hotel, which made my stay even more meaningful. The Japanese elm towering in the garden that connects the old and new wings truly felt like a sacred tree, drawing the grounds into a serene world completely separate from everyday life. At the beautifully designed bar, I enjoyed Akkeshi oysters and a vodka cocktail. In the evening, I had sushi at Sushi-dokoro Funami inside the Hotel. The sushi and appetizers prepared by the head chef—who trained at Hakodate’s renowned Kihara—were outstanding; everything was fresh, high-quality, and delicious. Conversation with the chef and staff was also enjoyable, making for an unforgettable time. This time I stayed in a Room in the wellness wing. The view of Hakodate Port was wonderful, and even glimpses of blue sky from the courtyard were soothing. The Room also had a jacuzzi and sauna, allowing me to spend truly fulfilling time there. Breakfast featuring plenty of local ingredients was delicious as well. A book-shaped bread was served, and since I had been told in advance that this Hotel was produced by author Shiho Tanimura, it all made perfect sense. Every member of staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, with outstanding hospitality throughout. It felt like staying here could be the main purpose of a trip to Hakodate itself. I would love to visit again in another season.

Thank you for kindly accommodating our last-minute Reservation just two days in advance! The kids had an amazing time. We’ve stayed at several pool villas, and this was the best by far. We’d definitely love to stay again.

We comfortably stayed with 4 adults and 2 children. All the tableware was neatly stored in wrapping bags, and we had to open each plastic bag to use them. While it was excellent in terms of hygiene, it was a bit of a hassle, and I thought that disposing of the plastic each time might not be good for the environment. However, from the perspective of maintaining the cleanliness of the property, I thought it was very good. In addition to the tableware, the interior, appliances, and mattresses were all the latest, and the modern Scandinavian style lifted our spirits. As an interior enthusiast, I was thrilled and soothed to be surrounded by a beautiful space with items like a Dyson hairdryer, Remipan, Staub pot, Royal Copenhagen tableware, and Louis Poulsen lighting. One thing to mention is that the AI cooking appliance was so advanced that it took quite some time to master its use (I'm still not sure if I used it correctly...). There were also plenty of tools for the children to play with, so they didn't get bored. They especially seemed to enjoy the outdoor bouldering. (However, since the ground is stone, I was a bit concerned about safety unless an adult was always present... I thought it would be better if cushions were laid out.) The most wonderful thing was the spectacular view of the lake from the large windows. The sunrise, in particular, was breathtaking. If I have the opportunity to visit Hamamatsu again, I would definitely like to use this property. Although I didn't meet the staff in person, they responded promptly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation is surrounded by nature, very clean, and offers attentive service. The backyard is set up for camping, and the Facilities felt well equipped. We took walks around the neighborhood in the morning and evening, and there were hardly any people. The birdsong and the scent of spring made it a soothing time—my elderly mother felt the same way. The staff were also very pleasant, so we had a comfortable trip.

It felt professionally managed rather than run by an individual, so we could stay with peace of mind. The Accommodation was very clean, easy to use, and spacious! As noted in the guidelines, there are no streetlights at night, so it’s safer to arrive before it gets completely dark. They also answered our questions politely and thoroughly. If you have a group of women, having only one mirror and slightly dim lighting was a bit inconvenient, but overall it’s a very comfortable Accommodation!
