Stayed alone on Friday. The renovated Japanese-Western style room was very clean and provided a relaxing stay. Although the room was near the front desk, karaoke room, and kids' room, it was well soundproofed, and once the door was closed, it was perfectly quiet. The large public bath was conveniently close as well. At the dining area, staff members showed thoughtful consideration by arranging seating to ensure privacy whenever possible. The buffet offered an excellent variety of dishes with great flavors, allowing for a calm and satisfying meal experience. Most notably, while many large-scale hotels often have baths where it's unclear if they use Onsen water or regular heated water, this one had authentic Onsen water with a truly pleasant feel. The location is outstanding with breathtaking views of the sea up close—absolutely fantastic! Being a large chain hotel popular among families, I initially wondered how it would be for solo travelers like myself; however, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay thanks to their hospitality. Thank you very much!

Thanks to an early-booking deal, we were able to stay in a newly renovated Room on the 10th floor, so we enjoyed a luxury Hotel feel at Business Hotel prices. The bed was spacious and there was also a dining table. There were two sinks—one separate vanity and another bowl sink in the unit—which was very convenient for the two of us (my sister and me). For breakfast we chose the Japanese set meal; everything, including the small side dishes, was delicious, and we could relax while looking out over the Shinano River. From how lively the restaurant and lobby were, it felt like a long-established Hotel loved by locals. The only downside is that there are limited spaces in the underground parking lot, and even including outdoor parking it is often used by non-guests as well, so depending on your arrival time you may have trouble finding an available spot.

First of all, thank you to the front desk staff for your courteous service from check-in onward. I carefully checked the weather forecast and decided there would be no snowfall, then hurriedly planned a trip to my beloved Hida Takayama and Okuhida. After leisurely enjoying the old town streets, I headed to the Accommodation and arrived around dusk—only to see white flakes falling from the sky. In the end, it worked out perfectly. The early-morning Onsen was a stunning open-air bath with snow viewing and a softly lit winter landscape. With no wind, I was able to enjoy a quiet moment all to myself and Clear away my daily fatigue and stress. The indoor bath also had a lovely interior and atmosphere, was beautifully cleaned, and I enjoyed a full hour—completely satisfied. The Yakult drink service in the post-bath lounge was another thoughtful touch; I ended up having three. Breakfast afterward was outstanding for someone who loves Japanese food—I had three large bowls of rice first thing in the morning. Hoba miso, “tsukemono steak,” kombu rolls, simmered ganmodoki, steamed vegetables, miso soup with fried tofu… And as if that weren’t enough, I even finished off some special curry rice. Now I’m slightly nervous about my next regular checkup with my hemoglobin A1c likely going up… On the way home I did some light exercise by strolling around Takayama again: Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the Takayama Festival Float Exhibition Hall, Hiroshige’s baumkuchen shop, a cat café, and more. This is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again anytime in any season—and one I truly hope to stay at again. Next time I’d love to try dinner as well. When I noticed the interior (tatami flooring?), it felt familiar—then I realized it’s part of the same group as Hida Hanazato no Yu Takayama Ouan. Once again, it struck me as a wonderful concept: clean and beautifully Japanese in style. Thank you very much.

With my husband away on Father’s Day, I planned a surprise Onsen trip a week early. I decided the day before, but luckily I was able to Reserve. The Room was very spacious for two, and my husband seemed pleased with the open view. The meals were also delicious. During dinner, we came across a beautiful sunset and watched it until it set. We also enjoyed table tennis and tried billiards for the first time, making our time after dinner just as fun. The night sky from the open-air bath was filled with shining stars—truly beautiful—and we were glad to have such great weather. With an 11:00 check-out the next day, we relaxed until it was time to leave, and we both felt refreshed and fulfilled. The surprise was a success! Next time, we’d like to visit as a family with our children who are currently living on their own. Thank you very much for everything.

Because it’s located in a convenient, everyday area of Nasu, you won’t have trouble shopping even if you forget something. It’s also a place where it’s easy to find familiar meals. The Hotel was clean.

There are many cats on the property, and some of them will let you pet them, which is incredibly soothing. On the other hand, if you’re not comfortable around cats, it might be a bit tough. At night, when I went to the “Star” bath, a kitty had snuck in and was curled up in a changing basket (lol). Many of the staff are from overseas, but everyone’s attentiveness was truly outstanding—from guiding us to our Room to serving meals—so I never felt uneasy during my stay. Most importantly, the Onsen was fantastic: we were able to reserve several large baths for private use, and it was a lot of fun. If there’s one thing to note, since it’s surrounded by nature, you may see some insects. I was also worried about mobile reception, but Rakuten Mobile and au worked without any issues. I’d love to visit again when the weather is cooler.

Although we try to take a couples’ Onsen trip at least once a month, we were busy this month and couldn’t easily find time—so, as usual, it was a last-minute Reservation. We decided to stay nearby and chose Aoni Onsen for its excellent water quality. Luckily, there was a Room available at just the right time. Best of all, we could use the private bath in the building where we stayed free of charge, so my wife and I enjoyed it before heading to the large public bath. The water was great, everything was clean, and the view was wonderful. Dinner was served at the counter with attentive service for each dish while watching the kitchen at work. There was also an impressive lineup of well-known Akita sake—including Aramasa, which I used to drink almost every night. I thought it might shake my resolve since I had only recently quit drinking, but surprisingly it didn’t. With kind encouragement like “Why not just have a little?”—and with my wife unable to drink—I gratefully accepted their thoughtfulness while focusing on the meal. Since sake had always been part of every Onsen trip until now… I expected to feel lonely about it—but I didn’t at all (even though I used to be a certified sake sommelier). We truly enjoyed the Onsen.

We stayed in the Yuri Room, which comes with a semi-open-air bath. It features free-flowing Jizo hot spring water, one of our favorite sources in Kusatsu Onsen. The private Onsen was too hot to relax for long, but the in-room Onsen was at just the right temperature and very comfortable. We could enjoy both dinner and breakfast in the in-room dining area; it was a bit pricey, but choosing this room was absolutely worth it. The meals were not extravagant, but the portions were just right and the seasoning suited our taste.

This was my first stay here (date of visit: August 17), and it far exceeded all expectations—it was a truly wonderful experience. We arrived around 4:00 p.m., and the staff welcomed us with warm smiles. From the moment we arrived, even before check-in, we could already feel their exceptional hospitality. I was also impressed by their thoughtful attention when they told us “today’s sunset time” as they guided us to our Room. We took a walk along the beach right in front of the Accommodation before sunset, and the pleasant sea breeze made it the perfect refresh. After our walk, we enjoyed the bath in our Room with a view of the beach. The sunset over the Genkai Sea from there was simply breathtaking—an incredibly beautiful panorama that left us speechless! We also bathed at night and again in the morning; spending time surrounded by clear ocean views and soothing wave sounds was pure relaxation at its best. The sushi kaiseki dinner “MURASAKI” was outstanding from start to finish, filled with careful craftsmanship throughout. Every dish showcased seasonal ingredients beautifully—such as lightly seared grunt fish from Genkai, steamed longtooth grouper custard-style, and overnight-dried sweetfish whose charcoal aroma stood out wonderfully. The main course of Saga beef grilled on magnolia leaf with miso, a comparison tasting of three kinds of tuna, and tilefish served with citrus vinegar were all exquisite—and I was completely satisfied all the way through dessert (Karatsu milk and cheese pudding). Breakfast surprised me even more. Beautifully arranged dishes were presented in a two-tiered jubako box; everything tasted amazing, with a level of luxury and quality far beyond what you’d expect from “breakfast.” Thanks to how attentively and kindly the staff checked on us throughout, we started our day feeling truly happy. With its location, spectacular baths with incredible views, superb cuisine, and warm hospitality—all perfectly delivered—this is an exceptional Accommodation. I will definitely return.

We traveled with a child, and they thoughtfully provided a diaper trash bin and a kids’ amenity set. Since we have a child, we requested a Japanese-style Room; it was spacious, and sleeping on floor bedding felt safe. The dining area was also completely private, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious! In the private space, we could relax without running into other guests. It seemed to have been renovated, and overall it was a clean Ryokan.

It was the first time I truly felt how fresh and clean the air was—you can’t experience air like this in Osaka. Since it was during the rainy season, it was a shame we couldn’t see the stars.

The well-maintained shared dog run was great. Our dog looked so happy, and we used it many times. The Seika kaiseki dinner was delicious in every way—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Most impressive was the quality of the breakfast—it’s exceptionally high. There are many items, and you can really tell how carefully each one is made. The simmered beef tendon and chikuzen-ni were especially tasty, with excellent ingredients and refined seasoning. The gently warm homemade tofu and the chef’s live-cooked steak were also wonderful. The staff were very attentive as well, making this an Accommodation we look forward to visiting again in a different season.

The meals were delicious. The coffee service was also helpful. Although it is an artificial Onsen, it warmed my body and allowed me to relax.

We had struggled to find an Accommodation around Minami-Izu that really appealed to us, but this one was excellent. It’s very close to Shimoda Station, making it easy to get to the beach. We stayed for two nights, and dinner was wonderful on both evenings. In the morning, we head out early for snorkeling, so a Plan without breakfast was exactly what we wanted. On the other hand, compared with Atami, there are fewer places to eat at night around Shimoda Station, so a Plan with dinner included was very convenient. The Onsen is in each Room, but I think it would be better if it were a bit larger.

It was nice that this small Accommodation was quiet and peaceful. The Onsen had a gentle sulfur scent and natural mineral deposits, which felt good for the skin. Meals were served in a private dining room, so we could relax without worrying about others.

We stayed here the day after visiting Ikaho Onsen. When we arrived, a staff member was sprinkling water at the entrance, so we asked where to park. As we headed over, a cat unexpectedly guided us to the parking area—such a heartwarming welcome from the start. The Accommodation, the pleasantly warm Onsen, and the meals were all excellent. Another Accommodation we’d love to return to has been added to our list. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a couple on a trip to Matsumoto. We made a Reservation at this Hotel because we were looking for a guest Room near Matsumoto Castle with an open-air bath and private dining. It was close to the castle, and we arrived without getting lost. Both the building and the Room were very well cleaned and felt spotless. The view from the Room was also great. We enjoyed our meal in a private room, and everything was delicious. We chose the dining Plan for guests aged 50 and over, and the portion size was just right. Since there aren’t many shops nearby, we bought drinks from the vending machine inside, but there was only one machine, so the selection was limited. Overall: 5 stars. I usually buy towels with the Hotel name when I stay somewhere, but I forgot this time—so when we visit Matsumoto again, we’ll be happy to stay here again.

Although I had heard about the baths through Reviews, they were far more wonderful than I ever imagined. I was also very satisfied with the amenities, and the meals were delicious. I was delighted to see thoughtful touches everywhere—such as spare towels in the bath area and plastic bags for wet items. The staff were excellent as well; at breakfast, when I was about to eat an egg, they quickly brought me salt and pepper, and even the housekeeping staff I met on my way out spoke to me kindly. I was truly satisfied until the very end. I will definitely visit again.

It’s a small, quiet Onsen town with very little to walk around and see. The Ryokan is quite old and it’s hard to call it spotless, but it’s a great place to relax in a laid-back rural setting. Each dish is carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and truly delicious—wonderful meals overall. The bath water also has its own distinctive character; I liked it as an Onsen. In summer they keep it at a lukewarm temperature, so you can soak for a long time. The owner and staff were friendly and genuinely kind.

I think this was my third or fourth stay. The property is clean, there’s an Onsen, and even the single Room is spacious, so it’s far more comfortable than a major Business Hotel chain. It’s also convenient to have separate slippers for in-room use and for around the building. The Room design is simple yet thoughtful, and it feels like a waste to stay only one night. Next time I’d like to visit the bakery as well. Whenever I have business near Nagai City, I’d like to stay here again.
