Since it was a meal on the mountain, I honestly didn’t have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food and the service were both excellent. It was a shame the weather was cloudy, but we were more than satisfied nonetheless. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, it started raining midway, so we couldn't enjoy the starry sky or fireworks, but the staff at the accommodation were kind, and we had a great time experiencing glamping for the first time! As mentioned in other reviews, although there were three of us, the breakfast portion seemed to be for two people. The meat at the evening barbecue was very delicious.

Being able to enjoy so many iwana dishes served at the table was truly appreciated! I was tired of buffets, so I really enjoyed the grilled iwana, iwana sushi, and sashimi—plenty of iwana in every form. I didn’t expect to have miso dengaku-style grilled iwana for dinner the next day as well, and it was delicious—I was so happy! The Onsen also left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The indoor bath and the semi-circular open-air bath were both wonderful. All of the staff seemed to get along well and were kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease. The shop also had tasty items like soba noodles, sweets, and snacks (such as hoya), so I was happy to be able to buy souvenirs too. Thank you very much for taking care of us! I’ll definitely come back for the iwana料理 and Onsen again. Since it’s located up in the mountains, a Multiple Night Stay is recommended for anyone who wants to relax slowly in peace and quiet.

Shuttle Service, two meals, a towel, and one drink were included for around 10,000 yen. It was very reasonable, close to the sea, and the view from the Room was fantastic. There are also sightseeing spots like the Anmo Observatory, which made the experience excellent. I would love to visit again.

I stayed here after being captivated by the night-view photos of the Onsen. Since this was a family trip with small children, I wasn’t expecting a luxury Ryokan, but because it’s located where you can take in a sweeping view of Toyama City (and even across to Imizu City), I never got tired of the scenery—sunrise, sunset, and night. Honestly, this location is truly one of a kind and priceless; it was far better than staying at some mediocre high-end Ryokan. I’ll upload my clumsy photos, but in person it’s 10 or 20 times more impressive. On the way to the Onsen there is a corridor explaining the history of the Kureha Hills, and I could really feel how much care and affection the staff have for this place and for this Hotel. The Facility is certainly Showa-era in style, but that actually made me feel even more attached to it. I felt genuinely happy to have discovered—and stayed at—this kind of Hotel. I also want to mention the breakfast buffet. Above all, I was amazed at how delicious the rice was. That wonderful white rice with miso soup and grilled fish in the morning—along with sides like okra and vinegared dishes—was something I truly enjoyed. Depending on where you’re going, if you plan to visit Toyama City or nearby Imizu City or Takaoka City, this is definitely a great choice. My kids absolutely loved Kodomo Mirai-kan at Taikoyama Land, so we’ll probably go back to Toyama next year—and when we do, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again. We stayed here for the second night of our two-night Onsen tour. It’s a quiet Onsen where you can relax. The baths include a high-temperature bath with free-flowing natural spring water, a medium-temperature bath with added water, and a low-temperature bath suitable for long soaks; the high-temperature bath I used to be able to enter before was so hot this time that I could only dip my feet in. The wooden plank flooring in the bathing area is also nice. The meals after bathing—both dinner and breakfast—were well seasoned and served in just the right portions. Several resident cats were around, including newborn kittens that licked my finger without any hesitation—they were adorable.

This accommodation is located right next to a famous architectural accommodation in Shibu Onsen, in front of the ninth bath of the Sotoyu Meguri. It is an ideal location for enjoying the Sotoyu Meguri. The hospitality from all staff, including the proprietress, is exceptional, making it a very pleasant place to stay. While the guest rooms are slightly dated, the meals are impeccable in both variety and taste, and of course, the onsen water soothes deep into your body to relieve daily fatigue. For us as a couple, this accommodation exceeded our expectations.

I was very satisfied with this stay. Because the Room lighting was darker than expected, I rated the guest room 4, but it was still comfortable. The Room was spacious with plenty of room, and I appreciated that it was a comfortable temperature upon arrival and the thoughtful touches. The meals were delicious, especially the lava-grilled meat as the main dish. In particular, the younger staff at dinner provided very pleasant service—above all with their smiles—so I was able to spend the evening in a cheerful mood.

We were able to relax and enjoy our stay with our two dogs. Because the bath in the Room is a free-flowing Onsen, we could soak whenever we wanted, which was very satisfying. The meals were also delicious, and we had a wonderful time. This Accommodation is perfect for enjoying the Onsen at a leisurely pace and unwinding with great food.

A retro Hotel with an impressive train diorama. The separate bath area allowed for a relaxing and leisurely experience, and the mountain view from the guest room was wonderful. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, including unlimited yogurt, which was very satisfying. When I asked for ice at the front desk, they provided it in a plastic bag, but having an ice bucket would have been nice. It was conveniently close to Ryusendo Cave, making for a great trip overall.

The service was attentive and excellent from check-in to dining. Detailed explanations were provided throughout the accommodation, offering a sense of history everywhere. The quality of the hot spring water was exceptional and rare to find elsewhere. I would love to visit again in a different season.

We stayed as a group of four friends and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The spacious accommodation, excellent service, sauna, meals, and activities like the bonfire were all exceptional. It was a luxurious summer vacation where we could forget about daily life and enjoy a relaxing time. The building had a charming and impressive appearance, and every room was truly beautiful. It gave us a unique feeling of both being uplifted yet relaxed at the same time. The expansive garden and courtyard were lovely, with clean sauna spaces offering peaceful areas to unwind both indoors and outdoors. In this private setting, it was so quiet that we could only hear the distant sounds of insects while enjoying complete relaxation. The meals featuring plenty of Yamanashi ingredients were delightful, as was the complimentary Yamanashi tea provided—it was incredibly delicious! We are also very grateful for the staff's attentive hospitality throughout our stay. Despite some hectic moments during check-in or dinner times, they handled everything with care and flexibility, allowing us to feel at ease. Having previously stayed at another property in this series of accommodations built from traditional Japanese houses (kominka), we found each one has its own unique charm despite sharing similar origins. We would love to return for another special occasion in the future!

Thank you very much for your flexible support. All of the staff were friendly, kind, and attentive, and we had a very comfortable stay. We were able to rent a yukata for our dog—something she rarely gets to wear—and took some adorable photos. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Because our stay was on a tight schedule, we couldn’t go fishing this time, but our dog happily ran around in the spacious dog run, and we were very satisfied with our stay at this Accommodation. When we visit Nanyo or Shirataka again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

The Hotel’s interior and Rooms are luxurious and refined, yet the staff were friendly and approachable without feeling overly formal. The meals offered a Japanese-Western fusion, carefully prepared and pleasantly tasty. The spa features a carbonated bath and a mist sauna, and it also includes tickets to Manyo no Hana in the neighboring Facility (I didn’t go to Manyo), so there’s plenty to enjoy. The only slight disappointment was that the Room toilet was inside the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a great Hotel overall.

It was very close to the entrance of Akame 48 Waterfalls, making it extremely convenient for walking and exploring. The building is old, but the furniture and interior are refined and do not feel rustic. The food was also delicious. We went by car, and there is a steep slope in front of the Accommodation, so it’s best to drive carefully there. Some parts of the road on the way are narrow, but they are well maintained, so as long as you watch out for oncoming cars, there should be no problem.

A long-established Hotel near the station. The whisky is a highlight, and I was very satisfied with the delicious meals and the spacious Japanese-style room.

It was a small Hotel, but it was clean and nice! There was a beautiful river right in front, and I’d like to go swimming there next time!

It was a very lovely accommodation. The room was renovated and clean, but the highlight was definitely the private bath in the guest room. Being able to enjoy such a wonderful onsen all by myself felt incredibly luxurious. The private onsen with its charming tiled bathtub also had a delightful atmosphere. Dinner was plentiful, and I chose sukiyaki—the meat was delicious. Although it was an all-inclusive plan, I’m not good with alcohol, so I think it would be perfect for those who enjoy drinking. I had a relaxing time alone. Thank you for your hospitality!

In addition to the splendid golden eye snapper, the sashimi and other dishes were also delicious and we really enjoyed them. The pudding was great too, but my personal favorite was the quiche. The owner, the hostess, and all the staff were kind and attentive. The Nekomatagi Championship was also fun. We were able to use the bath whenever we wanted for the most part. The guestbook mentioned facial lotion, but it wasn’t available in the bath area, so it would be even better if it were provided. With handmade town guides and other thoughtful touches, we felt a lot of warmth. It was a busy weekend trip, but a truly relaxing stay.
