We always stay here when traveling with three generations, and we truly appreciate your hospitality. (It also feels nostalgic because my father worked here back in the Kanpo days!) Since the renovation, it has become even more comfortable for children, and we made more wonderful memories again this time. As part of the summer vacation program, our kids were thrilled right after arrival with the cardboard maze and the guests-only soft-serve ice cream and ice pops! At dinner, there were also summer-only treats like chocolate bananas and shaved ice—like a fun festival. They were set up so they couldn’t be seen from our seats at first, so after the kids finished their meal and we told them about it, they happily went to get some. We really like that both breakfast and dinner are served at the table rather than buffet-style, so we can relax and enjoy our meal. The dishes used Yaizu sashimi and rice, and we could feel the care put into the food. And we were absolutely full!!! The Onsen water quality has been great for years, and my mother and daughter were able to relax together. We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and had a welcome little visitor (a cicada)! The kids loved it (it was gone by morning). The staff at the front desk and shop were kind and helpful as well—this is a Hotel where we can feel safe and comfortable. If there were a Room that could accommodate six people, that would be perfect; from next time we will need to book two rooms. We would be very happy if there were an option where everyone could stay together. Thank you again for your continued support.

From the nearest station, cross the children’s park and you’ll arrive without getting lost. I was excited to try the local ramen at the shop right in front, but it was closed for a regular day off. Stopped by on the way to Flower Park—drawn in by the high ratings—and it was well worth the detour. Everything was excellent; a rare find for such a quiet area.

Because of the great Reviews, I’d been interested in Maiko Villa for a long time, and I was finally able to stay there. The entrance was luxurious, and although the building should be old, everything inside was very clean. Our Room was a view-bath twin. The Room itself is a standard twin Room, but the moment I stepped into the bathroom, I was amazed. It’s a view you could watch all day and night. We chose the buffet dinner plan, and there was a wide variety—every dish was delicious. There were also many kinds of desserts; I almost wished I had another stomach. In the morning it was a bit crowded with many foreign tour groups, but overall it was a very satisfying Hotel stay. This time we visited during heavy rain, so next time I’d like to come back on a clear day to see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Thank you for taking care of us.

The meals were absolutely delicious. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared with care. The view from the open-air bath was beautiful, and soaking slowly was the best. The hospitality from the Accommodation staff was wonderful as well. I’d love to come again.

The spacious, comfortable lobby and the nearby parking lot made parking very convenient. The Room was clean, with a wide range of yukata sizes available, and I really enjoyed the view from the window. Dinner and breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, including sushi and rice balls made by the chefs, steak, and more. Everything was delicious, and there was also an excellent selection of desserts.

With Akita Station almost directly connected, I left my luggage before noon and walked to the Prefectural Art Museum and Senshu Park before checking in. There was also a 7-Eleven and a Starbucks on the first floor. The Room was clean and quiet, so I could relax well. On the way back, I took the airport bus, and the bus stop was right in front, which was very convenient.

The front desk service was excellent. They kindly explained anything I didn’t understand. Staying for two in the ¥8,000 range is very affordable. It’s close to the station, and there are plenty of reasonably priced places nearby—from restaurants to izakayas and snack bars. I’d like to stay again.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and it was excellent—the amenities were well stocked and the Room was clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were luxurious and delicious. The service was also very polite and attentive. This is a Ryokan we would definitely recommend.

I stayed here with my mother, who is 90 years old. 1. All the staff were very kind, and we had a comfortable stay. 2. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including beef grilled on a lava stone plate, sashimi, fugu sashimi, and fried shrimp—everything was excellent and very satisfying. 3. The bath was very spacious and we fully enjoyed the Onsen, but it would have been even better if there had been a rock seat suitable for half-body bathing. 4. The building and our Room had been renovated, and everything was well cleaned and maintained—very nice overall. 5. Overall: This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

It was the weekend right before the Obon holidays, so every Accommodation was expensive and I was looking for somewhere affordable. Since it was cheap, I didn’t have high expectations, but it was clean, the shampoo and other amenities were POLA, the room size was just right for a solo stay, and I was satisfied with the breakfast curry and bread. I was able to park at a nearby parking lot for only 600 yen. This is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again when I visit Kitakyushu. Thank you very much.

I stayed here while reuniting with an old friend. As soon as I entered the Room, fireworks at Marine Stadium went off, making it feel like a warm welcome. The check-in and guidance were very courteous, and breakfast the next morning was truly delicious. My friend who traveled from far away was also very happy. I will stay here again. We stayed again this year, following last year’s visit. This time, it was a 2-night, 3-day beach trip for three of us: an elderly couple and our granddaughter (first grade). Both on arrival and departure, the staff guided us in the parking lot, helped carry our luggage, and spoke to us kindly—this was extremely helpful. Working in this heat must be tough; thank you for all your hard work. The building was very clean, and the Room cleaning was thorough. The meals were delicious, and we enjoyed dinner both nights while watching beautiful sunsets. The dinner style differed between the first and second nights: on the first night we had a kaiseki course featuring Murakami beef shabu-shabu as the main dish, and on the second night we had a seafood kaiseki course. Both the Murakami beef on day one and the crab on day two were excellent—our granddaughter finished her crab within minutes of starting dinner. If I had to ask for one thing, I would have loved even a small portion of Murakami beef on the second night as well, since it’s something you can only eat when visiting this area (though we do make use of hometown tax donations). We were originally told that dinner would be at “Kaiou” on both nights, but about 15 minutes before dinner on the second night we suddenly received notice of a venue change. The staff member apologized repeatedly; however, in a Hotel that accommodates so many guests, it actually reassured me that careful checks are being done in advance. Buffet-style dining isn’t bad, but for an elderly couple like us, having kaiseki served at just the right timing is much easier. I sincerely hope you will continue offering it. It’s also wonderful that right behind the Hotel is a beach with excellent access: after leaving the beach we could rinse off sand at the outdoor showers and head straight to the Onsen. There was even a washing machine available to rinse swimsuits—truly convenient. After soaking in the Onsen, all three of us relaxed in the lobby while enjoying complimentary Momotaro ice pops. On day two, when we asked at reception for advice so we could enjoy swimming at Sasagawa Nagare Beachline area more fully—including which beach and where to park—they kindly helped us with great care. There was also plenty of information we couldn’t get from checking with AI beforehand; combining both made our trip even more enjoyable. Local knowledge really is invaluable. On our final day as well—at our granddaughter’s request—we enjoyed swimming until mid-afternoon before rinsing off sand in the shower and saltiness in the Onsen prior to heading home. Driving back to Tokyo after swimming was tiring, but it became a fulfilling trip full of wonderful memories. If my stamina holds up, I’d love to come again next year. Thank you very much.

Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining Room, so we could relax and eat at our own pace. The service timing was perfect, and we were fully satisfied with the quality and generous portions of the meals. We also loved that they featured plenty of locally sourced ingredients. The fireworks were spectacular from the rooftop, and the open-air bath in our Room was excellent.

This Hotel was recommended to me by ChatGPT, which understands my preferences and personality, and I was extremely satisfied with the result. Not only were the building and interior design wonderful and stylish, but the staff were also very kind and pleasant. Breakfast was served in such a beautiful space that it took my breath away, and everything was delicious—especially the scones, which were outstanding. As this trip was for my husband’s birthday, we used the anniversary Plan. They prepared non-alcoholic champagne and a very tasty cake, making it a lovely surprise. Neither of us drinks alcohol, but if we had more time, we would have liked to visit the bar as well. Perhaps because it was a weekday in May, there were many foreign visitors both in town and among the guests. Since it rained, being able to borrow the coin laundry facilities and a shoe dryer was incredibly helpful. If I had to mention one thing, it would be helpful if there were guidance on how many minutes are needed for roughly how much laundry. (At 100 yen for 25 minutes, I suspect even one T-shirt might not fully dry...) I initially thought the price was per person but then realized it covered two people as well—which surprised me even more. There’s nowhere else where you can get this level of quality and satisfaction at this price! Thank you for such a wonderful day.

The Room was clean, and there was a modern desk lamp that allowed wireless charging for iPhones. I really liked this new type of Hotel and would love to stay again.

We stayed at the very end of summer vacation, and everything was wonderful—the meals, the baths, the renovated Room, and the excellent service from all staff. During meals, we often saw how thoughtfully they looked out for our young children, and the front desk staff were also very kind, making our stay truly pleasant. We had almost given up on using the pool because of the rain, but it cleared up on checkout day, so we were able to fully enjoy both the pool and the slide—our kids were thrilled. Thank you as well to the staff member watching over the pool for regularly skimming leaves and sharing helpful information. It was a perfect way to end summer vacation, and our whole family is very satisfied with these great memories. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Overall, it was a very satisfying trip. First of all, everyone at the Accommodation was thoughtful and attentive, and they took great care of us. The Accommodation is built spanning a gorge, and together with the surrounding walking paths it was a very pleasant place. The open-air bath in the Room was excellent, and it also had a washing area, so one of the three of us was always in the bath. However, the large public bath felt fairly ordinary, and the hours were short as it was only open until 9:00 a.m. in the morning. Also, we received free café vouchers, but we were told we couldn’t add milk or lemon either, which left us with a slightly stingy impression. That said, as I mentioned at the beginning, our family of three had a wonderful trip overall—thank you very much.

My parents stayed here because they had been interested in it for a while. Since it was a weekday, it was fairly quiet and they were able to relax. They were also happy that other older guests were using the pool too, so they felt comfortable using it without hesitation, and they said the food was beautifully presented and delicious!

I stayed here while visiting the Dewa Sanzan shrines. The Accommodation had a very relaxing atmosphere, the meals were delicious, and the bath was excellent. I also signed up the night before and was able to join an early-morning visit to Mt. Yudono. It was a truly rare and wonderful experience. I will definitely return. Thank you very much.
