I stayed for three nights and was completely satisfied!! The Hotel was spotless throughout—bright, clean, and beautifully maintained. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly and welcoming, which created a great atmosphere. The amenities were refined, and I was especially happy to have organic coffee. One small note: the complimentary mineral water in the Room refrigerator had to be picked up at the front desk from the second night onward. It would be even better if it could be placed in the Room during cleaning. The Room was bright and clean, with no odors in the bedding. I’m a bit particular about cleanliness, but there was nothing that bothered me here—I felt very comfortable. The bath area and changing room were also very clean, and the open-air bath was wonderful. The ReFa hair dryer and other amenities such as shampoo were great as well. I especially loved the post-bath lounge and terrace. I think this is one of the best Hotels in this price range. I already have a Reservation for next month. This time I had a Room with a view of Mt. Asama, and the sunrise was beautiful. I’d be happy if I could have a mountain-view Room again next month—can I request that? Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Considering the price, we were satisfied with both the Room and the meals. The breakfast in particular was excellent.

The staff’s attentive hospitality and thoughtful care were truly wonderful, and I was able to spend a very comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. The interior of the property and the room features a calm Japanese-modern design in greige tones, with impeccable taste in decor. It was exactly my kind of style, so I found myself simply gazing around and feeling soothed. The rooftop lounge offered an abundant selection of juices, alcoholic drinks, coffee, Atami’s famous sweets, and light snacks. I couldn’t believe I could choose so freely—can I really have any of these?—and I got genuinely excited. Sipping drinks, enjoying sweets, soaking in the foot bath… it was such a luxurious time taking in the views of Atami. The staff also maintained the perfect level of attentiveness—providing towels to dry our feet and preparing drinks—so considerate in every way. I’m truly grateful. What especially impressed me was the full-course dinner. Each dish was beautifully presented—not only a feast for the eyes—but also had deep flavors with sauces crafted down to the finest detail. I was genuinely moved. Even now, looking back at my photos brings back that lingering feeling: how beautiful it was and how delicious everything tasted. Everything—the room, the meals, and the hospitality—was perfect. It was a place where I could truly refresh from the heart. I feel fully recharged; I’ll do my best day by day and hope to return again someday. Thank you very much.

The room was spotless, and the amenities were excellent—just what you’d expect from the long-established Hotel New Grand. For breakfast, I considered room service but went to the restaurant for the Monte Cristo sandwich. The incredibly fluffy French toast and the savory bacon-and-cheese saltiness were outstanding. The tomato juice served with what was probably a domestically grown, unwaxed lemon was also superb. I’ll definitely be back!

This was our family’s third stay. Thank you again for taking such great care of us. As always, the property was very clean and we had a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the complimentary drink bar, which we could use freely; the selection changes between morning and evening, so there was plenty to choose from and we could relax and enjoy it. At dinner, we were surprised by how large the abalone was, and we truly enjoyed such a luxurious meal. Our whole family had a wonderful time again, and we were very satisfied. We would love to visit again with our family. Thank you for another lovely stay!

It was my parents’ first long-distance trip in a while, and they were delighted with the lounge upon arrival, enjoying alcohol and desserts. They remained in great spirits thanks to the thoughtful hospitality throughout our stay. At dinner, every dish was delicious, and even I—usually a light eater—found myself eating more than usual. After enjoying the spacious Onsen, we had a wonderful time chatting in the nostalgic Kiku Room while looking out at the garden. Thank you for such a lovely time. I was so happy to see how much my parents enjoyed it—it was truly worth bringing them here. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay. From the warm welcome on arrival to the send-off at departure, everything was a truly satisfying experience. I hope to stay again during the autumn foliage season.

Even after getting exhausted shopping around the very crowded Kyoto Station area, I was able to relax in luxury in the lounge at my leisure. Back in the Room, I could see Kyoto Tower and unwind while enjoying the view. Thank you very much. It was a milestone trip for us, and it turned into a fun and very relaxing journey.

This was my first trip to Hakodate. There is only one direct flight a day from Nagoya, and I was incredibly lucky to get a ticket. Visiting a new place for the first time is so exciting. The Room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic view of Mt. Hakodate. The space was generous, and the bathtub and sink were spacious as well. The lighting switches were thoughtfully placed throughout, making everything very convenient—it was almost too comfortable! Dinner at Kita Jin (booked separately) was also excellent: premium Genghis Khan in a private room, relaxed and delicious. Breakfast was around 8:00, and we were seated right away. We came without much prior knowledge and were amazed by the variety—and even more by the quality of every dish. My spouse and I travel all over the whole country, and this may have been our best breakfast ever. Personally, I loved the eel snack with tea, dim sum, sashimi, chiffon cake, and egg tarts. What stayed with us most from this trip was meeting so many wonderful people in Hakodate: The kind driver with a great smile on the airport limousine bus. At lunchtime at Lucky Pierrot near the station—busy as it was—a female staff member still let us draw an Ichiban Kuji lottery ticket and gave us a pin badge with a big smile. At NIPPONIA Hotel Hakodate Port Town on our first day—a female staff member kindly explained everything and gave us a hand-drawn illustrated map of nearby spots within walking distance. On an evening sightseeing taxi tour to see Mt. Hakodate’s night view—a female driver born in Hakodate from Donan Taxi carefully explained local history, the Western-style houses in Motomachi, and the origins of Soma-tei. The staff who made our motorboat cruise even more enjoyable under clear skies the next day. At lunch near the station at Uni Specialty Shop Yoichiya—a female employee whose attentiveness and refined service truly impressed us. And above all, at Century Marina’s front desk—the female staff member who kindly explained everything for our first stay left a wonderful impression with her polite service; of course, the male staff member at checkout was also outstanding. The quick yet courteous service at Kita Jin was excellent as well—we are truly grateful to have stayed at this Hotel. It was an intense 2-night/3-day trip to Hakodate, but seeing everyone working so hard to make their city shine really moved us—it looked genuinely inspiring. We will definitely come again. I truly fell in love with historic Hakodate from the bottom of my heart!

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. As soon as we drove up to the entrance, the staff—already waiting—welcomed us with amazingly smooth, attentive service. I was nervous in an unfamiliar place, but before I knew it I was in the lobby with Bach playing softly, looking out at the sea and enjoying a chilled glass of champagne, my excitement building. The space was spotless and warmly appointed, and the selection of sweets, drinks, and amenities showed impeccable taste. The toothbrush was the most comfortable I’ve ever used. Above all, the bath was outstanding. With the window open, listening to birdsong and gazing at the ocean—and because it’s free-flowing—I even tried skipping a rinse-off and body cream afterward, yet my skin stayed moisturized without drying out! At dusk, the view from the lounge was beautiful. The British ginger lemonade was delicious, and we’re especially grateful to the elegant and attentive female staff member who made the lounge so wonderfully comfortable—thank you as well for preparing an orange liqueur for us at the end. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent; not only did everything taste wonderful, but the ingredients and presentation were beautiful too. That said, I couldn’t stop eating bread and butter and ended up too full by the time we reached the main course! Even so, it was cooked perfectly and tasted superb—I finished it all. Next time I’ll pace myself so I can fully enjoy everything through to the main dish. The young service staff were also highly professional and impressive. Even without mentioning that it was an anniversary—and even as first-time guests simply dropping by—we received consistently thoughtful hospitality throughout. Thank you very much.

I originally planned to stay for one night and then move to another Accommodation, but it was so comfortable that I extended my stay for a Multiple Night Stay. The property was very clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was carefully prepared, and on the second day they changed the menu. They also provided options for children. During my stay, I enjoyed coffee, and in the evening I had a little alcohol as well. It was a wonderful stay. The view from the Room was great, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Thank you very much.

From arrival to departure, the staff treated us with great care, and we had a very pleasant stay. The service was impeccable. The Room retains the charm of a traditional Japanese house while offering a calm, spacious layout for relaxing. In addition to the deck, there is also an area with a sofa where you can sit and take in the outdoor scenery at your leisure, which made it easy to unwind. Unfortunately, it rained quite heavily during our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the deck as much as we had hoped. The Onsen was also wonderful—you can soak in free-flowing natural hot spring water whenever you like. The bathtub was spacious enough to relax and fully enjoy the Onsen. There is a separate shower room in front of the bathing area as well, which made it convenient to wash before getting into the tub. What left the strongest impression on us in particular was the cuisine. Fresh seafood was used generously, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Although we weren’t blessed with good weather this time and couldn’t see the sunset we had been looking forward to, we still thoroughly enjoyed simply spending time at this Accommodation. Being able to relax so comfortably even on a rainy day may be something unique to Ujo Soan. We were highly satisfied with everything—service, Room, Onsen, and meals—and it’s an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

This time, I stayed here with my elderly parents. It was our second stay in six months, and although we weren’t blessed with good weather this time, we thoroughly enjoyed everything—the meals, the lounge, and the entertainment. My parents were very satisfied with everything, including the atmosphere, and were truly delighted with this trip. We would love to return again in the future.

I’m a local, but I’d wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time. They kindly accommodated my request, and I had a single room on the 10th floor facing Mt. Hakodate with an amazing view. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well balanced with both Japanese and Western options. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

Every time I visit, the staff’s service is outstanding, and I had a truly satisfying stay. Even on my first visit, I was deeply impressed by the wonderful hospitality. The food was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable, but what stood out most was the staff’s attitude. It was clear that everyone is working together to make this hotel even better. I mistakenly entered the wrong code for the in-room safe—thank you for handling it so kindly despite the inconvenience. Thank you as well for taking photos for us every time we leave. You always make photo time so much fun—I feel like a model every time. Last time it was the head chef; this time it was the general manager. I look forward to seeing you again.

It was a Hotel where we could fully enjoy Kagoshima—Sakurajima, Onsen, satsuma-age, kurobuta pork, and the night view! Sakurajima seen from the window was beautiful and majestic, and the meals were delicious…especially the satsuma-age, which truly surprised me (I underestimated it). The Onsen water was gentle on the skin, and I ended up soaking three times. This time we stayed for one night, but next time I’d like to stay for several nights and relax.

We stayed as a family to celebrate a special anniversary. The Hotel’s location, the staff’s polished service, the Room interior, the Facility offerings, and the view were all outstanding. The food and drinks served in the lounge were delicious and thoughtfully selected in just the right amount—perfect for relaxing comfortably rather than rushing to eat and drink. It was a one-night stay that left our whole family completely satisfied. When we visit Kobe as a family, this will likely be our only choice.

For quite some time now, I’ve been staying here about once a month. The moment I step inside, my mind switches from the everyday to something extraordinary. I keep coming back because I want to feel that shift. The Room and the meals are flawless, and above all, the quality of the sauna relaxation room is exceptional. To be honest, I like it so much that I almost hesitate to write this—because more people might find out and it could get crowded. The service is also impressively attentive every time—exactly what you’d expect from a top-class Hotel. It feels well worth the price. And most of all, the quiet here is wonderful. There aren’t many places where you can truly unwind and return to yourself in peace. For me, this is genuinely my third place. I hope to keep coming at least once a month for years to come… which is exactly why, if I’m being honest, I kind of hope it doesn’t get too busy (laugh).
