This Room is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a trip with a sense of history and charm. The entire Room was exceptionally clean—so much so that it made me wish I could live in a home like this. It was also a real highlight to see how everyone who assisted us carefully and lovingly conveyed the concept of this Accommodation. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, with dishes that reflected local and traditional flavors, leaving both my stomach and heart happy from the morning. Not only is the Accommodation itself wonderful, but I also hope you’ll take in the atmosphere around it as well. Every shop and street has its own charm, and you can truly feel the kindness of the people and the pleasant air. It became a place I genuinely want to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful trip where we could stay at a great Accommodation and meet such lovely people. I won’t forget this connection.

We arrived a little early, kindly left our car, and took a stroll around the area. Right away, we visited Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine next door. In the backstreets of this historic townscape, you can find Onsen springs here and there—perfect for wandering at leisure. Both inside and outside the property felt very clean, showing careful management throughout. The staff’s smiles, service, and conversation were all refined; we truly felt their hospitality and attentiveness, which made our stay very comfortable. From the Room we stayed in—named “Kirishima”—we enjoyed a view of the grove surrounding Suwa Taisha Shimosha Akimiya Shrine, full of charm and atmosphere. Both dinner and breakfast featured local ingredients, and everything was delicious. We could also sense how dedicated the staff were, which made dining even more enjoyable. Bathing in the panoramic large public bath while looking out over the townscape glowing at dusk was exceptional. The water was a gentle Onsen that seemed to softly cling to the skin. Although it wasn’t in our original plans, we stopped by Harmo Museum about 7–8 minutes away by car after receiving a recommendation as we checked out. Driving along the well-maintained lakeside of Lake Suwa and enjoying wonderful paintings became a great memory for us. It was a truly relaxing Accommodation for adults—wonderful in every way. The three of us—three generations of our family—stayed here. That day, only the suite Room was available and it was a bit pricey, but with the spectacular view it was absolutely the right choice. The scenery, cuisine, and service were all outstanding. I have never had sea urchin this delicious. The Standard Plan offered more than enough dishes, and our son in his 20s was very satisfied. The sunrise was slightly covered by clouds, but that made it feel mystical in its own way. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to visit again.

On August 7, with concerns about the impact of a strong typhoon, we headed to Kyotango—a trip we had been looking forward to for a long time. Due to my misunderstanding, I entered the entrance at 2:00 PM and found no one at the front desk. Of course—check-in starts at 3:00 PM. Even so, they assisted us right away and guided us to our Room in about 10 minutes. That was where I started causing trouble. I couldn’t wait for the dinner and breakfast that receive rave Reviews. Since we arrived early, I was also the first to use the large public bath. The view of the sea from the open-air bath was incredible. The right edge of the tub had a slope, so I assumed it was thoughtful design for children and elderly guests—but there was an identical slope on the left as well. Looking closer, I noticed the rim of the tub was curved: it was actually designed as a reclining bath. The slopes were made so you could lie back and still see the ocean. I enjoyed it alone, deeply impressed. Afterward, I had a canned beer and some complimentary sake (excellent) in the relaxation area and returned to our Room—then an accident happened: we received news of a death in our close family. After discussing with my wife, we decided to give up on breakfast we had been looking forward to. Since it took about 3 hours and 45 minutes on our way there, we asked at reception if we could leave early in the morning—and they kindly accommodated this as well. Dinner began while my mind was unsettled, but everything from the first appetizer onward was delicious, and my wife and I found ourselves exchanging smiles again and again. Partway through, we were guided outside to watch the sunset from the terrace—body, mind, and palate all completely satisfied. Despite our very early departure time, they even saw us off when we left. I was truly moved. We caused you so much inconvenience—thank you for giving us such an outstanding Accommodation experience.

A relaxing stay with both Japanese and Western cuisine Seasonal ingredients were used to great effect, with excellent flavor and variety, and everything was clean and comfortable. All staff were genuinely attentive and helped us whenever we needed assistance. You can take a walk around the grounds, and in the guest lounge we enjoyed reading with complimentary coffee while taking in the view of Mt. Bandai—truly a wonderful time. With easy access to Goshikinuma Ponds, this is a Hotel we would definitely like to visit again.

This was an Onsen trip with my mother and two daughters. Overall, both my mother and I were very satisfied. The price is not cheap, so it goes without saying that the Facility, amenities, and meals were excellent, but above all, the staff’s attentive service and thoughtful hospitality were outstanding. The bath in our Room was wonderful, and we also enjoyed the large public bath that switches between men and women in the morning and at night. The Onsen is sulfur-rich and warmed us up thoroughly. If we have the chance, this is an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again.

Thank you very much for your heartfelt hospitality during our three-day, two-night stay. Every dish made with local ingredients was deeply flavorful, and the free-flowing natural hot spring water was so soothing it felt as if both body and mind were gently unwinding—my spouse and I were truly refreshed. On the second day, we enjoyed a full round at a golf club near the Accommodation. Although it was extremely hot, the Onsen we had upon returning eased our fatigue, and once again we were reminded of how wonderful BeniyA’s hot spring water is. Also, whenever we encountered your warm smiles and greetings—especially from the attendant in charge of us—we felt at ease. Even a brief word when passing in the hallway showed such thoughtfulness, and we are sincerely grateful that we could spend our entire stay so comfortably. In addition, hearing from the proprietress about the kitchen knives left a strong impression on us—particularly as it came just after seeing news about a female figure skater receiving Japan’s People’s Honour Award. On our way to the large public bath, we caught a glimpse of the kitchen area and felt anew that these knives support your delicious cuisine every day. This trip became a cherished memory for us as a couple. We would love to visit again in another season—and next time, we hope to enjoy winter crab delicacies.

I was able to relax and enjoy a very comfortable stay in the Room. All of the staff were very kind, and both the front desk team and housekeeping greeted me politely whenever we passed in the hallways or elevators. I felt this Hotel was welcoming not only because of the Room, but also because of the warm hospitality.

We stay here every year, and since the rebranding and reopening, both the dining and the service have improved even further, making for a truly satisfying stay. We were genuinely impressed by the chef’s careful selection of ingredients and the time and effort put into each dish. Even breakfast featured thoughtfully prepared items, and our food-loving family was more than satisfied. Being able to see the chef at the end of the meal and exchange a few words made our dining experience even more special. The course reflected the chef’s warm personality, and it made us look forward to our next stay. We would love to visit again in a different season. I found this Accommodation while looking for a place with great food and made a Reservation. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and we were very satisfied! It also has great access to the two shrines and one temple, and with checkout at 12:00, we could take our time—being able to go out after breakfast and come back was especially convenient. We would love to stay here again when we visit Nikko. Thank you very much.

I had a wonderful stay. I accidentally arrived at Glover Garden, so I called the Hotel and they kindly helped me. When I entered, they greeted me very politely: “Were you the one who called earlier? We’ve been waiting for you—you arrived sooner than we expected.” After that, every staff member continued to treat me with warm hospitality. That alone made me feel glad I chose this Hotel. In the lobby there are two counters—one open until 10:30 p.m. and another available all day—where you can enjoy as many drinks and snacks as you like. Since I arrived late, I do regret not getting there earlier so I could have tried more from the limited-time counter. The braised pork and chocolate were delicious; there was plenty of braised pork left, so if I hadn’t eaten too much at my dinner gathering, I could have finished it all… maybe next time. Still, the all-day counter was more than enough to enjoy. The lounge also has a great selection of books, so I stayed up a bit reading while enjoying tea and sweets from the all-day counter. It was such a relaxing time. Breakfast in a steamer basket was comforting and delicious as well—the yuzu miso was especially amazing. They also had loquat and mandarin drinks. I expected them to be sweet, but they tasted properly like tea with just a subtle hint of flavor. Personally (with my sweet tooth), the mandarin juice added to the all-day counter in the morning was particularly tasty. There is no Onsen (as expected), and while this is clear if you check in advance, toothbrushes are not provided for sustainability reasons. However, there’s a convenience store about 50 meters away from the Hotel, so it wasn’t inconvenient at all. I’ll definitely come again! Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

I previously stayed here with my 4-year-old daughter, and while I was a little nervous about our first trip with a young child, we had a wonderful time—delicious meals and a clean Room, and we were very satisfied throughout our stay. This time, my husband was able to join us. The meals were different from last time but just as delicious as ever, and since we chose the largest Room, my daughter was thrilled. What made me especially happy was that the washing area in the women’s bath has been expanded! All of the staff were very kind, and we had a comfortable stay. We will definitely stay again as a family.

This was our third summer here. This year again, I stayed with my daughter. It was another scorching summer, and we had been spending our days in temperatures higher than body temperature, but Yufuin felt like a different world—so cool and refreshing. In the mornings and evenings, the air was pleasantly chilly with a gentle breeze. Even while soaking in the Onsen, it felt truly comfortable. The Onsen here is wonderful, and even in summer you can relax and soak at ease. The wind was strong due to an approaching typhoon, but the soothing rustling of the trees made it even nicer. Needless to say, every dish was delicious. We enjoyed flavors we’d never had before—it was such a pleasure. We’re always amazed by the chef’s creativity. Thank you as well to all the staff for your courteous service. We were able to relax completely. It became a fun and healing trip for just me and my daughter. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

Ever since I happened to stay here on a trip to Wakayama, I’ve been coming back regularly. This is already my third stay. I get the sense it used to be a love hotel, but in any case, it’s extremely clean and comfortable. For this level of quality, the value for money is outstanding. Highlights: The Room is very spacious and spotless. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and the bath is large enough to soak properly in the tub. The bed is double-sized and roomy. Amenities are well stocked. I still haven’t found any downsides lol. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Wakayama.

We stayed for two nights with three generations, and everyone was thoroughly satisfied—not only with the magnificent views from the lobby and our Room, but also with the wonderful hospitality and delicious meals. The staff’s attentive, warm service and smiles were especially memorable, and we felt a gentle, clear, pleasant atmosphere throughout the Hotel. Shizuoka has many sightseeing spots, including a history museum that children can enjoy and Shizuoka Municipal Nihondaira Zoo (this zoo has many thoughtful touches and is truly recommended), so every generation can have a great time. After check-out, we also went to Shimizu Port to enjoy dining and shopping. We visited several attractions including Toshogu Shrine, but there was so much to see that next time we would like to stay at this Hotel again and take more time to fully enjoy both the places we visited this time as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

All staff members were courteous and attentive. The meals were thoughtfully prepared with enjoyable touches, and we could even have dessert in the lounge after dinner, which was very refreshing. The bath was a spacious unit bath, and since it can be filled with Onsen water, we were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen in our Room. We would like to stay again.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding and truly exciting. I was especially amazed by the wide variety of breads at breakfast. Everything was delicious, but I regret that I couldn’t try them all. We also enjoyed drinks and sweets in the lovely lounge, and the staff’s attentive service made our stay very comfortable. This is an Accommodation I would love to visit again.

Located just a short distance from Horyu-ji Temple, the building was new and very clean. As there were few guests on the day of our stay, we were upgraded to the West Wing. The bath was at a perfect temperature, and breakfast the next morning was delicious—this was our favorite Accommodation of the trip. On the Horyu-ji tour, the guide’s explanations were excellent, and the two hours flew by. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. It truly became a valuable and memorable journey.

I stayed here for one night during a 3-night, 4-day trip. The buffet was tastier than at the other Accommodations I stayed at, and the portion size was just right. For guests arriving by motorcycle, posting on social media came with a complimentary drink service. The Facility feels a bit dated, but I recommend it for touring.

Everything is clean throughout.\nThe indoor open-air bath is very convenient and comfortable.\nThe meals are excellent in both quality and quantity. The service is also very polite, with no issues.\nWe stayed with children, and it was a great help that they proactively offered to provide a baby crib and bouncer.\nI’m glad we found such a wonderful Accommodation for the first time in a while.
