Stayed with three friends. - Overall New and clean. - Room Spacious. The wide sink made it comfortable to stay even on a trip with friends. The bunk bed room was unique, offering just the right amount of personal space, and it was great that it wasn’t an extra bed. - Private Sauna A proper sauna that warms you up thoroughly. You can sweat in a short time, enjoy the cold plunge pool, and relax on the terrace afterward. - Breakfast Enjoyed breakfast on a terrace with a stunning view of Sakurajima right in front of us. The season was perfect for spending such pleasant moments outdoors.

This is a quiet, relaxing Accommodation overlooking the Tsugaru Strait. The meals were especially delicious, with each dish carefully prepared. The tableware also reflected the value and tradition of a Ryokan. With heartfelt service, it was a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

Perched on a hilltop in a very quiet area of Kirishima, the Room offers distant views of Sakurajima. Surrounded by mountains and tea fields, you can enjoy a peaceful stay away from the crowds. The Room is equipped with a spacious open-air bath that can comfortably fit around five people, a sauna for about three, and a cold plunge pool. Being able to use these Facility amenities as much as you like at any time you prefer truly feels like a luxury. Meals are served in a private dining room, with staff providing prompt service. We thoroughly enjoyed dishes featuring abundant local ingredients from both the mountains and the sea—refined without being overly elaborate, and well suited to Japanese tastes. There is also an extensive selection of Kagoshima shochu (far more than we could even recognize), along with sake, wine, and non-alcoholic options to enjoy freely. The staff were also extremely kind and attentive. If I had to mention one drawback, it was that the bathroom sink is located in the bedroom area of the Room, which felt slightly inconvenient. For those who want to fully enjoy the sauna, Onsen, meals, and location, I highly recommend a Multiple Night Stay. We would love to visit again.

The parking lot was spacious and convenient. The Room was clean and functional! The only slight dissatisfaction was the lack of a nearby convenience store, but while exploring, I found a yakiniku restaurant and enjoyed a delicious dinner. I appreciated the staff's thoughtful gestures, such as the handmade map.

I stayed here again, as I did last year. This time, I split my stay into two parts: 2 nights and then 3 nights—first on the east side, and the last 3 nights on the west side. The west side is better. I plan to stay here again next year.

In September, I visited with my two dogs while on a trip to see my child living in Hiroshima. I already knew from the website that it was a wonderful accommodation, but it truly exceeded my expectations. The room, meals, service, and staff were all excellent. Since it's located in the mountains, there were many insects at the dog run due to the season, but plenty of countermeasure items were provided. I've stayed at several all-inclusive accommodations before, but this place had an impressive variety of drinks and even lots of nostalgic snacks—it was very satisfying. This time we arrived by bullet train and taxi; however, on our way back we were kindly dropped off at a nearby station which made it easy to visit Miyajima. There are also large rooms available for three generations to stay together—I’d love to come back again when I have grandchildren!

We stayed as a family of three at the end of May. It was deeply relaxing, and we were able to take our time and unwind. After arriving around 3:30 p.m., we fully enjoyed the large public bath until dinner began at 5:30 p.m. The indoor bath and sauna were clean and excellent, but the multi-level design of the open-air bath and the beautiful Japanese ambiance you can enjoy from there were truly wonderful—I ended up soaking for a long time. The meals featured seasonal local ingredients, and not only was the quality outstanding, but the portions were also generous, so we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Dinner was a Japanese-Western fusion style, which made it especially nice to enjoy drink pairings with each course. Even though we ate plenty at dinner, breakfast was so delicious that I couldn’t stop going back for more rice… We ate a lot, yet everything felt gentle on the body—in fact, I even felt refreshed from within—and I’ve continued to feel great even after returning home. Because we slept so well, we woke up feeling refreshed—and then enjoyed a morning soak in the open-air bath attached to our Room while listening to birdsong. I ended up bathing twice—both before and after breakfast. It truly felt like the most luxurious time of all. The water is continuously flowing fresh, and we could adjust the temperature ourselves. Away from the noise of the city and freed from everyday busyness, we spent an amazing time that left us fulfilled both physically and mentally. We are also grateful to all of the staff for their kind and attentive service. We would love to visit again as a family when we have another opportunity.

It was wonderful! So convenient—your Room is right there as soon as you get out of the car! The container was spacious and clean! If I had to mention one thing, the Asian-style scent bothered me a bit, but I would stay again!

This was our second stay. The kids once again lost track of time playing in the large pool. With great access to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Motobu Genki Village, we were able to enjoy a variety of activities during our stay. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and we had another wonderful time.

It was our first time traveling as three households with a large group, so we chose the private option. We weren’t sure how much would be provided, but everything we could possibly need was there, and it was incredibly easy to use—so comfortable. The moment we arrived, everyone kept saying “Amazing,” and the kids were thrilled. The pool in summer was fantastic. For the night pool, some insects do come by—and even a rhinoceros beetle came for a swim. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed for one night on our way back from a trip to Kyushu, and it was our first visit. The front lobby was very spacious, and the design—almost like a surrounding corridor—felt truly luxurious. With its seaside location, we could see the ocean from our Room, and there were many children enjoying the on-site pool. As an IKYU Diamond member benefit, we received access cards to the club floor and ended up using it twice. The club floor was also an exceptionally refined space with outstanding views, offering both table seating and sofa areas. A wide selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks was generously provided, so you could easily spend the whole day there enjoying drinks. There were also many well-seasoned, elegant guests who seemed like regulars, and even as a couple who rarely visits club floors, we enjoyed it thoroughly. The large public bath had wonderfully soothing saline water that completely relieved our travel fatigue. Next time, we’d love to stay longer for a more relaxing getaway. I had always remembered that my late mother stayed here about 35 years ago and said it was a wonderful Hotel, so I decided to stay this time. We originally made a Reservation for two Rooms for six people across three generations, but one person couldn’t come due to work, and then two days before our stay my father and brother (in a separate household) came down with fevers from colds. In the end, our group was reduced by half, but despite the repeated changes, you handled everything very kindly and thoughtfully. Thank you. We arrived at 11:30 after checkout time and planned to park our car first and go sightseeing in Matsushima by the Hotel shuttle bus. However, your staff told us we could complete check-in procedures in advance, and when we returned they arranged it so we could simply pick up the key at a separate counter and go straight to our Room. This helped us avoid crowds and was truly appreciated. Because I have difficulty walking, I requested an ocean-side Japanese-Western style Room. The view was excellent, the Room was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was just right. We could see the sunrise directly in front of us. For dinner we chose the seafood buffet; there were many kinds of sashimi and grilled items, each dish was high quality—it was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed it. At breakfast as well, they cooked items like cheese omelets individually on the spot for each guest. The food exceeded our expectations! As for the baths, there were no issues at all. At sunrise time, watching the sun rise over Matsushima Bay right in front of the open-air bath moved me deeply. For someone like me with limited mobility, getting around was easy—the layout made sense and walking distances were reasonable—so it wasn’t physically taxing. It helped me truly understand why my mother, who had limited use of her hands and feet due to a similar condition, said this Hotel was so good. With check-in at 14:00 and checkout at 11:00, being able to relax without rushing is another great point. The staff service; the view from the Room; amenities; meals; baths—everything made this an excellent Hotel. When I come to Matsushima again, I sincerely want to stay at Taikanso again! Since expectations are high now that I know how good it is firsthand next time I'd like a Multiple Night Stay so I can enjoy other meals as well. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

We stay here every year when visiting family graves. It is directly connected to the station, and the Shinkansen exit is close, which is very convenient. Since it has a train view, it’s perfect for children and train lovers. Even if you forget to buy something, there are plenty of shops so you won’t have any trouble. The Room is compact but clean.

I was scheduled to arrive an hour before check-in, so I asked to leave my luggage, but they let me check in on the spot, saying my Room was already ready. They also told me they had arranged a ladies’ room for me. When I entered the Room, there was a slightly larger bed next to a large three-seat sofa; the mirror was a tri-fold vanity mirror, and the bathroom was more than spacious enough. The refrigerator was already chilled, which surprised me and I truly appreciated the thoughtfulness. Amenities were set up along the wall opposite the front desk, and you take what you need—again, an excellent selection.\nThe next morning’s breakfast was a Japanese/Western buffet at the 1F café. When I went to get salad, a male staff member who happened to be replenishing the vegetables kindly plated my salad beautifully for me. As I was leaving, I noticed that plastic umbrellas were available at the entrance for guests to borrow when it rains.\nEverything was attentive and generous—I can’t help but want to stay at this Hotel again next time. Thank you very much.

I heard that a new Club Floor had been introduced, so I stayed here for the first time. As this is a traditional Hotel in a prime Shinsaibashi location, I didn’t expect much in terms of the Room furnishings, but everything—including the bathroom—had been fully renovated and was extremely comfortable. In particular, enjoying the Osaka cityscape from the long bench by the window or from the generously sized bed felt truly luxurious. The bathroom was also spacious, with plenty of room to fully enjoy both the shower and bathtub. The amenities were especially outstanding—truly top class! Personally, I found the Club Lounge service to be excellent. You can really feel their commitment to food and beverage service; both tea time and cocktail time offerings were genuinely Hotel quality. The staff were friendly in a very Osaka-like way, making it an exceptionally relaxing and welcoming experience. A wonderful Hotel that I would definitely love to visit again.

I stayed here with my mother in her 80s. From the moment we arrived, we felt thoughtful attention to detail, and it left a wonderful impression. Enjoying a delicious cheesecake while looking out at the ocean was lovely, and we ended up relaxing in the lobby for quite a while. We stayed in two Japanese-style Rooms, which were spacious and comfortable, and the futons were exceptionally cozy. In the evening, there were unexpected activities like roasting marshmallows and watching fireworks, which became great memories. We only had breakfast, but it was elegantly seasoned with light flavors and generously featured ingredients from Mie Prefecture—everything was delicious. The portion size was just right. The baths were kept very clean, and all of them—including the open-air bath and pearl bath—were truly relaxing. The staff’s courteous service also made a great impression. We chose Shiojitei to celebrate my mother’s full recovery, and I’m glad she enjoyed it. I would definitely like to stay again!

It was very close to Hakata Station and extremely convenient. The Room was more spacious than expected and very clean, so I was satisfied. The front desk staff were also friendly and provided excellent service. I will definitely stay again.

This Hotel seems to have opened recently, and it was very clean throughout, including the guest rooms, making for a pleasant stay. The front desk staff were efficient and genuinely welcoming, which felt very comfortable. In addition, the in-room Facilities and the bed were easy to use and extremely comfortable—nothing to complain about. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. PS: Draft beer is available free of charge at the front desk until 8:00 PM.

The Room was clean and spacious, making it easy to relax. The night view is wonderful, and on a clear morning, the cityscape and sea of Kitakyushu seen through the large windows feel truly refreshing. The balance between modern conveniences like self check-in and the timeless sense of luxury is very comfortable, and this is a Hotel I would like to stay at again when I visit Kokura next time. Of course, the staff were also cheerful and kind. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed for two nights. There were four adults in one Room (Garden Twin), but even with four beds it didn’t feel cramped, and we were able to relax comfortably. Since it was a family trip, the spacious open closet was also great for preventing forgotten items. Each bed had its own power outlets, which was extremely convenient. We expected a garden-side Room, but we could also see the ocean from the balcony, which was wonderful. I also personally liked that you can choose only the services you need at check-in. Since I usually carry a water bottle, I really appreciated the water dispenser service available in the Hotel. We were able to enjoy plenty of delicious water. It would have been nice if the provided pitcher were a bit larger, but there were two so it wasn’t inconvenient. They were acrylic, so there was no worry about breaking when carrying them around, and they looked stylish as well. It was also fun to boil water in the cute De’Longhi thermos kettle and enjoy tea. As is common at many Resort Hotels these days, the pajamas here were very comfortable and helped me sleep soundly. A small detail, but both the Room trash bin and the bathroom trash bin had liners properly fitted, which made them easy to use. Breakfast around 8:00 was slightly crowded and there was some waiting time, but once we were seated we could relax at ease. We chose Western-style breakfast on day one and Japanese-style on day two; both were delicious and very filling. For dinner we chose BBQ, and on the second night they changed up the ingredients so we could enjoy something different. The carefully selected seafood and meat were all delicious, and there was more than enough food including rice and dessert. On the second night it felt like we had a private setting, and we truly appreciated all of the staff’s help. There is also a large public bath; it wasn’t an Onsen, but it was clean and relaxing, so we were satisfied. All of the staff members were pleasant as well—they spoke to us thoughtfully when needed without being intrusive—so we had a very comfortable stay. The Facility offerings and services felt just right—not too much or too little—and it felt like a Hotel where you can relax at your own pace. It rained on our first day, but early on our second morning there was sunshower weather and we got to see a rainbow. We’d love to come back in another season to enjoy both morning and evening ocean views again.
