This is a classic, old-fashioned Business Hotel, but the price is reasonable and the Room is clean, so there’s nothing to complain about. It was also great that it’s close to the station.

Although I arrived late at night, the front desk staff greeted me with a smile, which made me feel at ease. The Room was spacious, and the in-room amenities included thoughtful touches such as a cart for placing small items. I had a comfortable stay and would like to use this hotel again.

The Accommodation has spacious Rooms, and the view is very pleasant, with a lawn right in front and the sea beyond. Unarisaki Park is nearby and perfect for a walk; we couldn’t see the sunset this time, but I think it would be beautiful if you can.

Although slightly dated, it was a lovely Hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and even though it was outside regular hours, they kindly gave a ride to the station for one person who had to leave early. The only disappointment was not being able to use the open-air bath with a great view. The baths switched between men and women the next morning, but I couldn't use it due to lack of time in the morning.

The clean Room made for a very pleasant stay. The included light meals were much appreciated! I would love to use this service again.

The breathtaking ocean view was incredible, and we enjoyed a luxurious time that felt like having the sea of Atami all to ourselves. The modern, calming space was also exceptional. It was a special Accommodation we would love to visit again with our cherished family.

Thank you very much for your flexible support by email even before our stay, including parking and early check-in arrangements. The Room felt more like an apartment than a Hotel, which actually helped us relax, and it was great not having to come into contact with other people. There was also a convenience store right in front, so I feel we found a great place. During our stay, my child had a nosebleed and stained the pillow, so I offered to pay the cleaning fee... But you kindly said there would be no charge, and that made me truly glad we chose this Hotel. If we have the opportunity, we would love to stay again. Thank you for your pleasant service until the very end.

A charming Western-style Ryokan nestled deep in a narrow path, where time seems to flow at a slower pace. The body soap in the bathroom was excellent and suited my sensitive skin perfectly. This time, due to work, I stayed with No Meals Included and had a busy schedule, but next time I hope to visit with a companion and enjoy a stay with meals included.

To drive along National Route 252 by the Tadami Line, I made a Reservation at this Accommodation in Aizu-Yanaizu, the gateway town. At first, only the No Meals Included Plan was available, but after calling to confirm eligibility for Fukushima travel support discounts, they kindly changed it to a Plan with both dinner and breakfast. The location is excellent in central Yanaizu, and you can park across the street at a free public parking lot. On arrival in the lobby, I was welcomed with an iced coffee welcome drink, and arranging a time for the private open-air bath as well as meal times went smoothly. My Room was a 6-tatami Japanese-style room on the third floor (no elevator). It was more than spacious enough for one person, very clean, and equipped with a sink and refrigerator. The toilet is shared (separate men’s/women’s) on the same floor. For Onsen bathing, there is a private rooftop open-air bath and separate men’s/women’s indoor baths on the fourth floor. The open-air bath feels handmade and doesn’t offer much of a view, but what truly impressed me was the indoor bath: fresh water continuously overflowing from the source (free-flowing), a cloudy sodium chloride spring with abundant volume at just the right temperature—far better quality than expected. Dinner is served at a modern soba restaurant created by renovating a storehouse behind the Accommodation. The main Sarashina soba had great texture and was excellent overall, including the warm chicken-and-burdock dipping broth. That said, it was disappointing that the appetizer tempura had gone cold, and I felt that adding something local such as basashi (horse sashimi) would make it even more satisfying. In that case, choosing No Meals Included and ordering freely from the restaurant menu could also be a good option. Breakfast is prepared in a private room next to the lobby; along with juice or soup, you receive a plate centered on bread and rice. Service is attentive, though opinions may differ on value for money depending on expectations. At 11,000 yen at full price it invites comparison with nearby Accommodations around here; however after discounts my satisfaction level was more than adequate. Above all else،the cleanliness throughout иandthe owner’s sincere、warm hospitality were outstanding—an Accommodation I can recommend even to Tadami Line travelers without а car.

Reasonable price, convenient access, spacious room, and very satisfying. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

The parking lot next to the Hotel has limited spaces, so it was full. The parking lot the front desk told us about is a bit of a walk, but it was spacious and nice. The Room was small, but since we only needed it for sleeping, it wasn’t a problem. It’s not large, but there is also a large public bath, which was nice because I thought there would only be a unit bath. For breakfast, the dining area isn’t very big, so there was a line around 8:30. We went at 6:30 and were able to eat right away. Overall, I think it won’t be an issue on weekdays.

I stayed after the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival. Since I thought I might check in after 11:00 PM, I consulted with the staff, and they kindly said they would hand over the key as long as I arrived on the same day. When I visited around noon, they responded immediately, which was very helpful. In the end, I arrived at the Hotel around 11:10 PM but was able to enter my Room right away without any issues. The Plan included breakfast for four family members, and it was very delicious. I hope to stay again next year if possible!

Being able to enjoy so many iwana dishes served at the table was truly appreciated! I was tired of buffets, so I really enjoyed the grilled iwana, iwana sushi, and sashimi—plenty of iwana in every form. I didn’t expect to have miso dengaku-style grilled iwana for dinner the next day as well, and it was delicious—I was so happy! The Onsen also left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. The indoor bath and the semi-circular open-air bath were both wonderful. All of the staff seemed to get along well and were kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease. The shop also had tasty items like soba noodles, sweets, and snacks (such as hoya), so I was happy to be able to buy souvenirs too. Thank you very much for taking care of us! I’ll definitely come back for the iwana料理 and Onsen again. Since it’s located up in the mountains, a Multiple Night Stay is recommended for anyone who wants to relax slowly in peace and quiet.

With its historic ambiance, carefully prepared meals, and relaxing moments spent gazing out at the garden, it was a truly soothing stay.

After getting off the expressway and driving through town, we arrived while watching people fishing for ayu in the Oi River flowing alongside the road. At reception, we paid the Accommodation Tax and the dog fee in cash, then moved to our Room. The owner kindly explained how to use everything in detail. It’s a small but beautifully renovated riverside one-story private rental house, and this time we chose the bring-your-own-ingredients BBQ plan. The Accommodation also has a resident Shiba Inu “greeter” and a gorgeous cat who welcomed us—the cat even walked with us to our door. The kitchen was fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, dishes, pots, and cutlery, so all we needed to bring were seasonings and ingredients. For dogs, they provided a crate, toilet tray, pee pads, deodorizing spray, lint roller (sticky cleaner), and water bowl—so as long as you bring food for your dog(s), you’re all set. You can park right in front of the house, which made unloading luggage easy. We changed into swimsuits and headed to the river right in front of the Room with our two dogs. The high that day was 26°C (30°C in Osaka), so it felt a bit chilly for swimming; our dogs started shivering so we went back inside pretty quickly. We’d love to try again next year. In the evening we had a BBQ in the garden. The staff handled both lighting the fire and cleaning up afterward, which was very reassuring. There aren’t any tourist spots or shops nearby around this Accommodation, but it’s quiet with no traffic—just relaxing sounds of the river and evening cicadas. Thank you very much! Looking forward to staying again next month.

Recommended as a Business Hotel. The breakfast was also delicious. It takes about a 20-minute walk, but we recommend the free access to an off-site Onsen bath.

Stayed in August 2026: 2 adults and 2 toddlers for JPY 15,810 with breakfast. As the title says. This is a very important point for guests, yet many hotels don’t seem to notice it at all. [In midsummer and midwinter, guests’ health can be affected by how clean the air conditioner is.] I hope you will continue to prioritize this. The Onsen was average (understandable given the low price). Breakfast was just enough to fill you up (also understandable given the low price). As for a one-of-a-kind experience: My wife accidentally dropped the breakfast tongs because their holder was unstable. When she informed and apologized to a female staff member in her 50s or so, she was told, “Please be careful,” which felt like surprisingly high-level customer service. It may simply be a local cultural thing, and I also felt that if I (a man) had done it, I probably wouldn’t have been admonished. Also, since she was serving food rather than working at reception where various types of guest interaction are required, it gave me the impression she spoke without much thought (no ill intent—more like “that’s obvious”). It was quite unpleasant, but I’m not dwelling on it. Because even though the room rate was affordable, the air conditioner was clean.

The Hotel’s interior and Rooms are luxurious and refined, yet the staff were friendly and approachable without feeling overly formal. The meals offered a Japanese-Western fusion, carefully prepared and pleasantly tasty. The spa features a carbonated bath and a mist sauna, and it also includes tickets to Manyo no Hana in the neighboring Facility (I didn’t go to Manyo), so there’s plenty to enjoy. The only slight disappointment was that the Room toilet was inside the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a great Hotel overall.

"Hotel Toranomon Hills" Above all, the location is outstanding. The view from the Room is truly “Toranomon.” Just looking out over the cluster of high-rise buildings somehow lifts your spirits. Another personal favorite was the lounge on the 11th floor. There are light cakes and drinks, it never feels too crowded, and it’s wonderfully quiet. It’s perfect for relaxing at your own pace, or opening up a laptop and getting some work done. Having a calm place like this inside the Hotel is a real treat. Breakfast also offers a wide variety of options, making it easy to enjoy a satisfying start to the day. Most memorable of all was the staff’s hospitality. As this stay was for my birthday, I had made a few requests in advance, and an experienced concierge handled everything with impressive ease. Even without detailed explanations, they understood what I meant and took action accordingly. Luxury Hotels matter for their Facilities and views, of course—but in the end, it really comes down to people. The Room, the view, the lounge, breakfast, and above all the staff. Rather than one standout feature, everything is consistently excellent across the board. A place you can choose with confidence for an important occasion. I’d love to stay again—truly.

From the warm welcome to the heartfelt farewell, the hospitality was exceptional. There were families staying on the same day, and it was lovely to see how attentively everyone was cared for. As described beforehand, the building has a historic charm. However, those who are sensitive to older structures might find it less suitable; hence my 4-star rating. Personally, I found the Facility more than adequate and impeccably clean, making my stay very comfortable. As of late October, in addition to air conditioning, heaters were placed throughout the property along with a kotatsu and even hot water bottles—ensuring excellent cold-weather preparation. The bath is small but can be enjoyed almost privately if timed well; it wasn’t too hot and allowed for a relaxing soak. Meals featured local ingredients thoughtfully explained by staff and paired with an excellent selection of sake. The breakfast side dishes were particularly delightful and suited my taste perfectly. Although I stayed alone this time, I would love to return with my family in the future if given another opportunity!
