This was our first trip as a couple, and we made a Reservation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Since we’re not very experienced travelers, we were nervous at first, but the Ryokan staff were so kind and friendly that our worries quickly disappeared. I’m not usually comfortable with open-air baths, but I worked up the courage to try—and it was truly relaxing and soothing. The changing area was clean and easy to use as well. And the meals we had been looking forward to exceeded all expectations—I was genuinely satisfied from the bottom of my heart! Everything was delicious. There was venison tataki, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but it had no strong taste at all and was truly wonderful. Our attendant explained each dish carefully, which helped us appreciate the ingredients even more—thank you so much. What made us even happier was that they took photos for our anniversary and gave them to us as a gift when we left. The handwritten letter from the proprietress also deeply moved me. This is the first time my heart has felt this full—just like my stomach! We are filled with gratitude for everyone’s thoughtfulness, kindness, and warm support. We will definitely come back again! Thank you very much for everything.

I had a memorial service in Inazawa City, Aichi Prefecture, and I usually book a Hotel in Nagoya, but this time I decided to look in Gifu and found this place. A (new) Hotel located inside a park. The front desk area and the Room were clean and functional. There’s no bathtub in the Room—only a shower—but there’s a public bath nearby, and guests can use it for 500 yen with the accommodation discount, so it didn’t bother me at all. Drink prices at the shop are reasonable too. There were no negative points at all, but if I had to mention one thing, it might have been nice to have a chair in the guest room (maybe I should have requested one). I was traveling with someone (this time my son in his 20s), and we ended up sitting side by side on the sofa, but the space between the sofa and the bed was narrow and a bit awkward to use—that’s about it. Recommended for young couples or families with children, including for its location.

It has been a while since the head chef moved, but we visited Daichu this time because we thought we could enjoy the chef’s cuisine there. We also wanted to try sea urchin in this season. Until last year, we went to the annex for it, but we assumed it would be the same and chose Daichu instead. (We had visited several times before for the private day-use baths.) We were able to spend a truly enjoyable time, meeting familiar staff as well as new faces. It really felt like coming back again. There is no bath in the Room, but you can use any of the three private baths whenever you like, and we enjoyed delicious sea urchin, great drinks, and obanzai as well—completely satisfied. We were also finally able to see the head chef again. He looked well, which put us at ease as we headed home. We would love to visit again in a different season.

This is our third stay at this Accommodation since the beginning of the year. We are truly grateful that you welcomed us with our dog and provided such a clean Room. The meals were a full sea bream course, and we were completely satisfied with the local Naruto ingredients. As a bonus, even though our dog is very picky about food, he happily enjoys it when we share some slices of the sea bream shabu-shabu with him. With inflation driving up costs for ingredients as well as electricity and fuel, we hope you will continue operating while taking appropriate measures such as adjusting prices. Personally, I feel the current rates are almost too good to be true. It’s a wonderful Accommodation, and we will definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed for two nights over a weekend trip. Unfortunately, it rained, so we couldn’t fully enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa as planned. However, the time we spent at the Hotel was incredibly comfortable, and thanks to the wonderful lounge and the thoughtful care of all the staff, it turned into a truly satisfying stay. We arrived at the Hotel around noon. Our car was taken care of with valet service, which made it easy for us to head to Omicho Market. We enjoyed rock oysters, Noto beef croquettes, grilled scallop skewers, and more. When we returned to the Hotel around 2:00 p.m., even though it was before check-in time, we were kindly told that our Room was already ready. The Room was spotless and had a calm atmosphere—such a welcome gesture after walking in the rain. What I had been looking forward to most during this stay was the club lounge. We were amazed by how well stocked it was: their famous cakes, sandwiches, a wide selection of drinks, and even Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The evening offerings were also excellent—far beyond what you’d expect from “just a lounge,” and more than enough for us as dinner. We were also excited about breakfast. Although we had to wait a little due to full seating, the food exceeded our expectations. It felt distinctly Kanazawa-like as well, and we were very satisfied. Above all else, what left the strongest impression was the staff’s smiles and hospitality. Throughout our two-night stay, every staff member greeted us with genuine warmth, and their attentive care comforted us again and again. Even when checking out and leaving, there was one last pleasant surprise. When our car was brought to the entrance via valet service, chilled mineral water had been placed in the cup holders. My wife and I were truly touched by such thoughtfulness until the very end. Since we couldn’t do as much sightseeing in Kanazawa due to the rain this time around، our time at this Hotel became an especially memorable part of our trip. When we visit Kanazawa again، we would definitely love to stay here. To all of your staff، thank you very much for an amazing two nights and three days.

This was my first stay, and it exceeded my expectations—it was a wonderful experience. The Room was spacious and clean, and the food was delicious. The villa pool also made our children very happy. Since the grounds are very large, getting around by cart was convenient. The staff were kind and provided excellent service. I would love to stay here again when I visit Miyakojima!

The staff service, the comfort of the Room, the high-quality meals, and the convenient location—not too far from the station with a convenience store nearby—always make for a fulfilling holiday. The elevator also shows the next floor it will stop at, offering a small but thoughtful touch.

As a big baseball fan, I stay here several times a year. The staff’s attentiveness, the breakfast buffet, and of course the cleanliness of the rooms are all excellent. The bed is also extremely comfortable for me. Just one thing: I’m not sure if the toothbrush has changed since before, but this time it felt very hard and hurt my gums, so I’ll bring my own toothbrush next time (lol).

Although the daytime heat was not much different from Tokyo, the mornings were much cooler, with a pleasant breeze, and we felt refreshed while enjoying the magnificent views. The meals (kaiseki and French cuisine) were excellent, and we were able to enjoy them at a relaxed pace. In particular, the breakfast buffet was of very high quality; it was clear that each dish was carefully prepared and served, which we truly appreciated. The Onsen with yuno-hana floating throughout was also wonderful and very relaxing. The private family bath was very easy to use as well. We played tennis and rode the cable car to enjoy the swings, and even our older children had a great time. This is an Accommodation we would like to continue cherishing for years to come. We stayed to celebrate a family birthday. The view from the window was amazing, and our whole family was thrilled from the moment we entered the Room. The view from the 12th-floor front desk was also wonderful, and the night scenery was truly beautiful. The drinks we enjoyed in the lounge while watching the night view, as part of the Diamond member benefits, became one of the best gifts for our family birthday celebration. The Room had two sinks, and the bathroom had a washing area, which made it easy for me to bathe together with my elderly mother—something we really appreciated. The staff were very kind, and breakfast was delicious; it was a thoroughly satisfying stay. Chinatown is very close by, and we also walked around nearby spots such as Hotel New Grand next door, Yamashita Park, and Honmoku. However, because of the heat, we often returned to the Hotel to rest soon after. Everyone kept saying during our stay that we would like to come back and stay at this Hotel again in a season other than summer. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

My spouse, our younger daughter, and my 88-year-old mother stayed for one night. The arrival briefing was thorough and easy to understand, and whenever we had questions—at any time or place—we always received accurate and courteous assistance. What made us happiest was celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday at the restaurant. As a complimentary service, they provided sea bream with celebratory red rice and a dish accompanied by sake. They also dressed my husband in a purple outfit and took a commemorative family photo for us. It became a wonderful celebration, and we were deeply moved by the restaurant staff’s thoughtful hospitality. The food was excellent, especially the fresh seafood. The Awa Odori event was also very enjoyable. Thanks to everyone at the Hotel and restaurant, it was an unforgettable trip, and we are truly grateful.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning ocean views and the soothing atmosphere on rainy days, and we were very satisfied with the warm service from the staff and their excellent hospitality. The chinsuko made at the restaurant was delicious, and we were also happy to be able to buy some as a souvenir to take home. Next time, we’d like to stay in and enjoy a relaxing “staycation” at the Hotel!

We had a very relaxing stay. Unfortunately, it was rainy and cloudy on both days, so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. However, both dinner and breakfast were delicious—we were very satisfied. By chance, a staff member from our hometown served us, which made for a wonderful time. On our way out, they even gave us a souvenir to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was a lovely trip. I’m truly glad I stayed at Hanaougi. Everyone at the Ryokan, especially our attendant, was wonderful—kind, attentive, and courteous—so we were able to relax and enjoy a very comfortable stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and I also appreciated the careful explanation of each dish. It was memorable to see local Hida/Takayama ingredients and regional cuisine incorporated into the meals, making it a wonderful travel experience. The guest room was spotless and thoughtfully maintained down to the smallest details, with excellent amenities. The open-air bath was outstanding as well, allowing us to spend a slow and luxurious time. I was completely satisfied with everything—hospitality, cuisine, room, and Onsen. You can really feel how much care is put into this Ryokan; it’s a place that made me think, “I definitely want to come back.” Thank you very much.

This was our second stay since last year. We were impressed last year as well, but this year we truly enjoyed an even more relaxing time thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the staff. Of course, the cuisine was also top-class Kyoto kaiseki! We will be back again next year during the Obon holidays. We are truly grateful.

First of all, the cleanliness of the Hotel’s Rooms and other Facilities was very, very good. I stayed for three nights and treated myself by taking an Obon holiday at this Hotel. It was an Obon holiday filled with gratitude for the food and all the staff. The Onsen was also wonderful, and I felt genuine care in every detail, including the free ice pops after bathing. Thank you for such a wonderful trip with my dog. I will come again, and I look forward to staying with you then as well.

Although this is a historic Onsen Ryokan, the property is impeccably maintained throughout, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail and quality in every corner. Our family of four enjoyed a truly wonderful stay with dinner and breakfast included. Above all, the Room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with plenty of room for each of us to relax comfortably, while also being perfect for gathering together as a family to chat and enjoy tea and sweets. The in-room beverages were also well stocked—the coffee and tea were excellent—and of course the private open-air bath in the guest room was amazing. We had both dinner and breakfast in a private dining room. The staff member who took care of us was highly professional and kind; everything from the timing of each course to the explanations of every dish and overall service was flawless, allowing us to enjoy our meals comfortably from start to finish. And finally, the greatest highlight here is definitely the Onsen! There are many different types of baths on site—so many that we seriously discussed “the best order” to try them all (laughs)! We were so busy enjoying the Onsen that we didn’t have time to relax with drinks in the lounge. That just gives us an excuse to come back. In short, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this stay with dinner and breakfast included. The Room, cuisine, service, and Onsen—all exceeded our expectations. This Accommodation comes highly recommended for anyone who loves hot springs or wants a relaxing time at an Onsen Ryokan. We would love to stay again!

I have no complaints about the Ryokan. I was surprised to be able to enjoy red snow crab even in summer. The in-Room dining service was also excellent. Just one point: the sweet shrimp at dinner was outstanding, but the Ryokan I stayed at the next day in Amanohashidate was better in terms of the sweetness of its miso (probably just by chance...). I would definitely like to visit in winter.

As it was my first stay, the parking area and the route from the parking area to the lobby were a bit difficult to find, but it was a very satisfying Hotel. The Room size was just right, and above all, its cleanliness was what I found most satisfying. It also felt luxurious and made me feel like I was wealthy. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to use again.

On my first trip to Hiroshima, I stayed here first. The Room was clean, spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. All the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, which made for a wonderful trip. I would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.
