I’ve stayed at various Vacation Villages, but Retreat Azumino Hotel was completely different from any of them! This Hotel is too good to enjoy in just one night. It made me want a Multiple Night Stay. It’s quiet, spotless, and I have nothing to complain about.

A stay with breakfast that feels truly luxurious. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious. The staff’s hospitality and service were perfect in every way. I’d love to come back for another extraordinary getaway.

It would be great if guests could check the availability of the private bath from their Room. Personally, I was hoping for delicious sashimi, and it was served in beautifully crafted dishes and tasted excellent. Haruna Shrine has a wonderful atmosphere and is highly recommended.

I had stayed at Kinmonko several times before, and after it became Regina Resort, I visited again—also because it coincided with my younger child’s birthday. It was an even better stay than I imagined, and the time spent with my dog felt truly special. Just as rumored, the thorough dog-first hospitality warmed my heart throughout the trip. From the moment we arrived, all the staff welcomed us with smiles and greeted us by name, which helped my dog relax right away. The Room and shared spaces were stocked with an impressive range of amenities for dogs, and their thoughtful attention to detail really stood out. A surprise that made me especially happy During our stay, I casually mentioned in conversation that my dog’s birthday was coming up soon—and to my surprise, they quickly prepared a birthday cake as a special treat. I was amazed by such a wonderful gesture, and having the staff celebrate together with us filled me with gratitude. Seeing my dog happily enjoying the cake became an unforgettable memory. Surrounded by Yufuin’s beautiful nature, this is truly a dream-like place where both dogs and owners can relax without any hesitation. It was the best Accommodation I can confidently recommend for important anniversaries or creating special memories with your dog. I definitely want to visit again! I have stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but Regina Resort Yufuin was by far the most satisfying in every way. Next time, I would like to stay at “Kakoi” in the new building.

We stayed during the Obon holiday season with my parents and my child, and the connecting rooms gave us plenty of space to relax. The magic show was really entertaining, and my child loved it! The Facility had just been renovated, so everything was clean and we had a very comfortable stay. There was a Reproizer hair dryer in the large public bath, which was a nice touch for women. I did notice the shampoo didn’t lather as well as I expected, so I wish I had brought my own. There were many families with children, and we appreciated the welcoming atmosphere where we could enjoy ourselves without feeling self-conscious even with kids. We had a wonderful time as a family. We’d love to come again!

I was surprised at how affordable it was, yet the Facility and the staff service were excellent. Although it’s described as an artificial Onsen, it was very nice, and the hair dryer and shower were high quality. A women’s iron was also provided. I arrived a little early, but the staff were very kind, and I had a pleasant stay through checkout. There were books in my Room, including one by APA Hotel’s president, which I enjoyed reading. It felt like a Hotel that truly aims to please its guests. I’d like to stay again.

I was impressed by the view from the 10th-floor room—seeing the familiar scenery around Ota Station I always use felt completely different. The self-serve coffee available from 6:30 a.m. was much appreciated. I checked in at 10:00 p.m. and it was a short stay, but I was able to relax comfortably. Thank you very much. (I rated it 3 stars because I did not use the Onsen.)

Both the front desk and restaurant staff are very attentive. I have stayed here several times. I would like to stay again.

There is a convenience store right downstairs, which is very convenient. When I asked questions about things I didn’t understand, they answered politely. The Room was also very clean, and I was able to relax. If I have something to do nearby again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I finally stayed at the InterContinental Hotel, a striking, innovative building shaped like a yacht’s sail that I’d wanted to visit for a long time. The warm welcome at the entrance and the kind service made me very happy. This time I chose a harbor-view Room on the 27th floor. Since I had lounge access, I enjoyed a light drink before heading out. The staff were young, but their hospitality and manners were excellent. If you want ocean views, I don’t think there’s any other choice but this Hotel. It was a luxurious and truly out-of-the-ordinary Hotel experience. Having the shower room and bathtub separated made my stay very comfortable. Next time as well, I’ll come back to enjoy the harbor view from a high floor! Thank you very much.

Visiting Sendai for the first time in 20 years, I chose to stay at Sakan again, a place full of fond memories.\nThe Onsen and Facility areas have been beautifully renovated, and amenities like ReFa hair dryers made the stay extremely comfortable. What impressed me most was the half-buffet. The beef tongue steak and sea urchin I selected as the main dishes were outstanding—being able to enjoy both meat and seafood so luxuriously left me completely satisfied. The buffet also offered a wide variety of options, with many live-kitchen stations, which made it wonderful to enjoy freshly prepared dishes. There was also an excellent selection of drinks and desserts, keeping me excited throughout.\nIt had been 20 years since my last visit, but it turned into an amazing experience that far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely love to return!

I always stay here when I’m on business in Osaka—it’s my go-to Accommodation. Above all, the breakfast is excellent. It seems word has gotten around about how good it is, and when I arrived on time I was told breakfast was fully booked. They said they could prepare seating outside the dining area, past the front desk, but since I wanted to go back for the buffet a few times, that felt a bit inconvenient… so I waited until a seat opened up. However, breakfast slots are divided into one-hour time blocks and you receive an advance card beforehand, so I assumed there would be a limit on the number of guests. The staff member explained that “there are many solo guests.” If that’s the case, I’d like to see some kind of improvement—such as making it clear via the advance card how much table space will be used, or distributing only as many advance cards as can accommodate everyone even if they are dining alone. Since this is before heading to work, time really matters. Because of this time loss (I think), I missed out on the limited-quantity pudding. Disappointing. (Though I was able to have it the next day.) My Room was on the women-only floor, and the hair dryer was very easy to use. When I looked it up because I wanted to buy one myself, it turned out to be quite high-end—so that alone made me very satisfied. I also appreciated having bottled water in the Room. The coffee was delicious too. I definitely want to stay here again next time.

We stayed as a family to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. From the moment we checked in, we were amazed by the spacious, wonderful Room you prepared for us. When we checked out, we learned that it had been upgraded free of charge, which truly moved us even more. At dinner, you even prepared a fruit platter to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our anniversary—thank you so much. Our whole family was touched by your warm thoughtfulness. The Onsen also offered a great variety, and we enjoyed bathing many times. Most memorable of all was the dinner buffet. Not only was every dish delicious, but each time limited-quantity items were announced one after another, we found ourselves excitedly wondering what would come next as we enjoyed our meal. Thanks to the Room, the Onsen, the meals, and above all the warm hospitality of your staff, this trip became an unforgettable memory for our entire family. After returning home, my husband and children told me, “Thanks to you, Mom, it was such a wonderful trip. Let’s do it again.” That made this trip especially joyful for me as well. I sincerely appreciate all of your kindness and consideration. We look forward to visiting again as a family someday. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for business. What impressed me most was the warm hospitality of the staff. I also really enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant. One suggestion for improvement: as someone who loves an early-morning bath, I would appreciate it if the baths could be open in the early morning.

Thank you as always. The bed is made up crisply with clean linens, so I can sleep soundly every time. There are also two types of pillows, so I can arrange them however I like and stay comfortable. The mattress suits my preferences, and I’m truly grateful to be able to sleep deeply in this bed and recover from work fatigue. Even in the hot summer, I can stay comfortable by fine-tuning the air conditioner temperature. I look forward to staying again. (Lately, it’s a shame that I’ve been booking No Meals Included and haven’t been able to have breakfast...)

Comfortable amenities and thoughtful details: From soft, skin-friendly bedding to well-appointed bathroom fixtures, every detail reflects genuine care for guests—so you can fully unwind and enjoy a moment of relaxation before heading out.

Except during the COVID period, I have stayed here almost every year before the rainy season. The Hotel may look a bit plain from the outside, but the staff are refreshingly pleasant and very welcoming (especially at breakfast, where they greet you with smiles and work efficiently), and the Room seems to have been renovated—it is very clean and feels fresh. There is also a large public bath; it’s on the small side, but for me this is a Hotel I’m extremely satisfied with. The only reason I deducted one star is simply as a hopeful suggestion: I would be happy if there were a way for more people to use the large public bath at once. It’s not really a complaint, but at night it was unsettling not knowing whether it was full until I actually went there. That’s truly my only point. Breakfast in particular is excellent: small portions of side dishes are neatly arranged in little bowls, beautifully presented and clearly well prepared—I can only admire it. Because it’s so satisfying just to look at, I don’t end up taking too much and overeating, which I think is wonderful. In any case, this is my favorite Hotel. I’d like to stay again next year.

This is my third stay. Every year during the Obon holidays, I visit my family home, and the day before returning home I always stop by this Hotel to unwind. I relax in the Onsen and enjoy the buffet, and I always leave satisfied. The staff’s courteous service and prompt assistance are truly appreciated. I look forward to staying again next year.

I chose this place because the breakfast looked appealing. The Room was on the top floor and close to the bath, so I was very satisfied. As the Reviews said, you need to go early for breakfast or you’ll have to wait in line, but the food was delicious. The bath was a bit disappointing due to the crowds, and the changing area was small, so we had to take turns getting changed.

Conveniently located near the train station and department stores. The Room is clean, spacious enough, and quiet.
