I stayed for one night in the middle of my itinerary, and this was my favorite Hotel of the entire trip. The bar counter and lobby that come into view right after entering the entrance immediately got me excited. The Room was clean and stylish. The washbasin area was the open type with no partition from the Room, which is common in newer Hotels, but it didn’t cause any inconvenience. If anything, it made the Room feel more spacious than its actual square meter size. Although I didn’t use them, it seems they also offer a thoughtful selection of items for loan, which felt very considerate for guests on a Multiple Night Stay. The sofa and bed were comfortable as well, and I enjoyed having dinner in the Room that evening. The Onsen was also more than spacious enough and included an open-air bath. Maybe my timing was lucky, but there were few other guests, so it was extremely relaxing. Breakfast was buffet-style; even with a pleasant level of bustle, there were many attentive staff members who made it a great experience. In particular, having egg dishes cooked to my preference was fantastic (you order by QR code so there’s no line, and they bring it to you). A couple of small disappointments: - Parking (I assume it will be improved in the future, but there wasn’t any specific guidance; since it’s simply gravel ground at the moment, checking in at night was a bit confusing.) - The reception staff at the breakfast venue (I had planned on No Meals Included originally, but I was so impressed by how wonderful this Hotel is—and seeing available seats—I asked if I could join the breakfast buffet last minute. However, whenever I asked about seating or pricing details, I received guidance that strongly emphasized only negative points. It made me wonder if walk-ins aren’t really welcomed. That said, once inside—especially thanks to the excellent male staff member overseeing service—the experience turned out very positive.) I’m not sure what prices are like during peak winter season, but this is a Hotel I definitely want to stop by again whenever I visit Hokkaido.

A warm welcome made for a pleasant start. The Onsen was excellent. The meals were beautifully presented with an autumn theme and were absolutely delicious.

In a quiet location, the Room’s Onsen is also free-flowing, and bathing while feeling close to nature is wonderfully refreshing. Because it was the Obon season, there were no vacancies in the Room we wanted, and both the large public bath and the post-bath lounge area were crowded, which was a bit tiring. However, for a popular Accommodation at this price point, that’s understandable. Overall, we were very satisfied considering the cost. The front desk staff and the service during meals were excellent. The relaxation staff at the spa provided highly skilled treatments that felt great.

The Facility and amenities are a bit dated, but the Room was thoroughly cleaned. The staff at the shop and during meals were very helpful. The large public bath was also spacious and clean. For this price with two meals included, it’s a great value.

We always arrive late, but thank you for kindly accommodating us. We truly appreciate the owner’s warm hospitality. We look forward to staying again.

The Room and Facility are slightly old, but the layout was satisfactory. The large public bath and breakfast buffet deserve five stars. It would be perfect if there were additional outlets on the side. Great value for money!

We slept on futons in a Japanese-style Room, but it was a stylish space with a modern interior—natural and very clean. The balcony had a gently swaying chair, and there was art on the walls; everything felt really chic. We could also borrow yukata robes and geta sandals. The front desk staff were very kind and gave us clear guidance, including which Onsen baths tend to be crowded. It’s close to both Jizo-yu and Gosho-no-yu, with excellent access to the Onsen town—perfect for visiting multiple public baths. The ropeway and the Onsen town are right in front of you, so you won’t have any trouble finding souvenirs or places to eat. However, there are only a limited number of free parking spaces, and you need to drive along narrow streets crowded with tourists to reach the parking area, so driving can be challenging. We stayed during the Obon holiday period, so even the ropeway parking lot was full and we couldn’t park nearby. Next time, taking the train might be better. For breakfast, we chose a one-plate morning set at the attached café. The latte art looked great for photos, and the interior—with Western movie posters—felt like contemporary art throughout. We stayed as a couple (my husband in his 40s and me in my 30s), and it seems renovated with youthful taste in a Western style that would appeal to inbound international guests—more “JAPAN RYOKAN” than a traditional Ryokan—and we loved it. It felt like an Expo pavilion. Unless you have specific requirements such as needing a mattress bed or an elevator, it’s excellent value for couples. We’d love to come again—thank you very much.

Perhaps because it was a weekday right after Golden Week, it wasn’t crowded, and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast—everything was delicious. The Onsen was wonderful, and the staff were polite and kind. If we have the chance, we would love to visit again.

Great value and conveniently located, Route Inn is often my go-to in times of need. While I thought it lacked a strong unique character, this location stood out. Perhaps it's thriving due to the regular fireworks events nearby. The coffee machine was excellent—rich and delicious! The Room features included wireless charging and Type-C ports. The breakfast menu seemed to have more variety compared to other locations. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to visit the large public bath, which was disappointing.

This is a very attentive Accommodation. The staff provided clear and courteous explanations. The cuisine was refined, gentle on the body, and we enjoyed a wonderful time pairing it with delicious drinks. The bath was also clean, and the water felt great on the skin. From the in-room bath, we could look out over the sea in Atami while soaking at a relaxed pace. We only visited Kinomiya Shrine for sightseeing, but it was a trip where we could take everything slowly and unwind.

The staff provided clear explanations and guidance, and the view from the Room was beautiful. It was still warm even with the heater turned off, so bringing a short-sleeve shirt to sleep in was the right choice!! Since it was affordable, I wasn’t expecting much for breakfast, but there was a wide variety and we ate a lot with our child! Being able to relax and eat while watching the monorail made it the best morning.

We stayed to coincide with the Atami fireworks. We were able to watch from the rooftop with an unobstructed view and fully enjoy the beautiful fireworks. All of the meals were delicious, especially the squid sushi and sweet shrimp. The bath was also clean and nice. The front desk staff were kind and courteous, making this trip a wonderful memory. I traveled solo for one night and two days from 9/6 to 9/7, and soaking in the water truly lived up to what you’d expect from Gero Onsen—I felt refreshed both physically and mentally. The meals were just the right amount, not too much or too little, and everything was delicious. Unfortunately, it rained so I couldn’t do much sightseeing, which was a bit disappointing, but I did make it to the morning market. I’d like to visit Gero Onsen again someday.

I stayed here the night before taking the transfer entrance exam at The University of Electro-Communications. It’s in a very convenient location and close to the university, making it ideal for exam takers. The Room was excellent, and I was able to relax and spend my time comfortably. Thank you for taking care of us, even though it was just one night. All the staff were very pleasant. When we told them we were planning to visit Kinomiya Shrine, they gave us a voucher for a sweets set that could be used at the shrine, and thanks to that we were able to enjoy oshiruko and cookies. Thank you very much. There are many steep slopes on the way up to the Hotel, so I think it would be tough on foot. Dinner was great—the soup was especially delicious. We were able to relax in a Room with a private bath. However, I really wish there had been a round stool or some kind of simple chair at the sink in the Room. Women often spend a long time at the sink doing their hair and makeup, so having a chair would be helpful. The view from the Room was absolutely wonderful. I’d like to come again. Thank you very much.

Perfect for a family of four! The views are spectacular—no doubt about it! The owner is a true gentleman—no doubt about it! As others have mentioned, the Room has a stylish scent (maybe from an air freshener?), and some guests may feel differently about it. Sing karaoke, dance, enjoy the Onsen, have a BBQ, take in the night view and the morning view—and check-out is at 13:00. We had a wonderful time!

I was surprised by how well-equipped it was. Even with a Multiple Night Stay, we still didn’t have enough time to enjoy everything. It would have been even better if the weather had been nice.

I visited with friends. I loved the interior, and I was completely satisfied with everything, including the bedroom. The sunrise views from the living room and bedroom were especially amazing, and we had a wonderful start to the day. The sauna was also top-notch, and it was fantastic to be able to look up at the starry sky from the relaxation area. It was also great that we could enjoy it both in the morning and at night. I’d love to come again.

After descending from Mt. Fuji in heavy rain, the warm Onsen was incredibly soothing! They accommodated our unusual requests, and we truly felt their sincerity. The hoto for dinner was also absolutely delicious!! Both the international staff and the housekeeping team were kind and welcoming. There were many inbound guests, but I hope this place continues to thrive. When we consulted in advance, they also offered a Shuttle Service, which was a huge help. We like mid-scale hotels, and for us—focused mainly on sightseeing—this is the best value Accommodation! We had a very comfortable stay. Next time, I’d like to visit when the weather is clear enough to see Mt. Fuji.

If you love saunas, campfires, and quiet surroundings, this is the place to go. The sauna layout is very well designed. You can dive into the pool straight from the sauna, then relax either on a chair or in front of the campfire—perfect for unwinding. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and it would be even better if there were a vacuum cleaner available for longer stays. * Drinks are all-inclusive. There was a good selection and quantity, which we really appreciated! There’s also a 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, a supermarket, and a drugstore nearby, so you won’t have any trouble if you need anything.
