To escape the Tokyo heat, I visited Oku-Nikko again this year. With concerns about bears, I chose this Hotel because both the open-air bath and the guest rooms felt safe and reassuring. It was my first stay in several years, and perhaps due to the renovation, the room, baths, and lounge were all very clean, making for a comfortable Hotel stay. The meals were delicious; if I had to mention one thing, I would have appreciated a Japanese-style option on the second night of my two-night stay. I would definitely like to stay again.

I planned a trip to Fukuoka as a birthday treat for myself, and I had a very comfortable stay at the Miyako Hotel. The Facility and Room were, of course, wonderful, but what I remember most is how courteous and kind all the staff were. Even as a foreign guest, they treated me warmly and gladly accommodated several requests. Thanks to them, it was truly a pleasant trip. I sincerely appreciate it.

Thank you very much for taking such great care of us during our stay. As it was just after the reopening, the Facility felt brand new, and we were able to spend our time comfortably in a clean environment. In the large public bath, the scent of wood instantly helped us unwind, and the ocean view through the full-height windows was breathtaking. Even though we were on the east side of the Boso Peninsula, we were surprised to be able to see the sun setting—and it was so beautiful that we couldn’t take our eyes off it. It truly deserves its place among “Japan’s 100 Best Accommodations with Sunset Views.” The rooftop open-air bath we used before bed was softly lit with indirect lighting and had a calm atmosphere. Soaking while listening to the sound of water flowing into the tub made all our everyday fatigue melt away, and we could relax from the bottom of our hearts. It was a wonderfully soothing moment. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. The new dining venue had a Japanese-inspired design, creating a lovely atmosphere and a comfortable space. Dinner was served half-buffet style. We were first served sashimi, beautifully presented with an impressively fresh taste. We were also surprised to be served abalone and splendid alfonsino (kinmedai). The abalone remained tender even when grilled, and the kinmedai had an elegant flavor. The buffet also featured an excellent live kitchen: tempura was freshly fried, and there was even Kazusa beef steak. Both were tender, making for a highly satisfying dinner. Breakfast was also buffet-style, and we were amazed by how extensive the selection was. In addition to standard items like salads, there were also sashimi and overnight-dried fish. The turban shell curry (sazae curry) left a lasting impression with its rich flavor, and the nikujaga comforted us with its gentle taste. At the live kitchen they made omelets for us—large portions with great volume—another very satisfying dish. Our Room was spacious and spotless. Above all, through wall-to-wall glass windows stretching across one entire side of the Room, there was nothing but ocean—so much so that we found ourselves sitting in chairs simply gazing outside for quite some time. Fireworks were launched from right in front of us at the fishing port as well—it was incredibly powerful up close. We had never seen fireworks from such close range before, making it an unforgettable experience. And most impressive of all was truly the service provided by your staff. We felt thoughtful attention everywhere throughout our stay; their hospitality was consistently attentive. It made for an extremely comfortable visit—a day we were completely satisfied with. When we visit Kamogawa again, we would love to stay here again.

I visit Karuizawa often, and this Harvest VIALA felt spacious and very comfortable. Both the Facility and the meals were satisfying, and the shop selection was excellent. The other guests were also well-mannered, so it was a place where I could relax and truly refresh. The bedding was comfortable as well, though I would appreciate having a light summer quilt available. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

No matter when I stay, the staff are always wonderful—friendly and truly pleasant to deal with. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned, and I was able to relax in comfort. There’s a unique sense of ease that lets me be myself, and it feels like coming home. Thank you, and I look forward to staying with you again.

Although it is one of Tokyo’s long-established Hotels, I did not feel any aging or deterioration in the Room at all, unlike what some other Reviews mentioned. Everything was very clean. We stayed as a family of three, and the extra bed was also comfortable and well made. From the bathroom, we could relax while enjoying an exclusive view of Tokyo through a large open window. The club lounge offerings were excellent. We went from tea time, and the shrimp avocado roll and roast beef sandwich were outstanding. I was also delighted to find Laurent-Perrier champagne available. The selections during evening time and morning time were both wonderful—I ended up having champagne in the morning as well. Above all, I truly appreciate the superb service from the lounge staff, which made our time there so pleasant. That said, when some items ran out, it took a while for them to be replenished; I thought it couldn’t really be helped and it didn’t disappoint me. As a Diamond member, we had a 1:00 p.m. checkout, so we were able to take our time and relax. I would definitely like to stay again, and next time I’d like to plan a Multiple Night Stay.

During my visit to Hamamatsu to return to my family home, I stayed with a No Meals Included plan this time. I enjoyed staying in a room with a view of Hamamatsu Castle, which allowed me to enjoy the scenery at an affordable price. There was an amenity bar at the reception area, which wasn’t available before, and I made use of various items. Personally, I liked the coffee and bath salts. The unmanned shop has also increased in convenience as I could get drinks without having to go to a convenience store. Unfortunately, all the pillows at the pillow bar were already taken, so I'll look forward to trying it next time. Although it may be difficult, I feel that having a large public bath would make it even better.

The staff at the Japanese restaurant and the breakfast venue were very kind and welcoming. I was traveling with an elderly person, and I truly appreciated how they pulled out chairs for us and spoke gently. This was my second stay, and I have used the restaurant several times. I would definitely like to stay again.

I stayed here as a base for sightseeing in Tokyo. The location is excellent. Urawa Corso and Isetan are about a 1-minute walk away, so shopping is easy. I needed extra clothes during my trip and was able to buy them quickly at UNIQLO, which was very helpful. There’s also a convenience store nearby, making it easy to pick up small items and drinks. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a wide variety of dishes and very satisfying overall (they even served eel on the day I stayed). The breakfast venue is on an upper floor with nice views and an open feel. The view overlooks the Urawa city area, so it’s more about enjoying the cityscape than dramatic scenery. The Hotel facilities seemed recently renovated and were clean overall. Some areas do show their age, but nothing caused any inconvenience. One thing I noticed: although I had reserved a non-smoking Room, there was a faint smell of tobacco in the Room. It may be lingering from before the renovation, but sensitive guests might find it noticeable. Overall, with its great location and excellent breakfast, I would recommend this Hotel for stays related to sightseeing in Tokyo or visits to the Urawa/Omiya area.

It was our first time staying at this Accommodation, and we were able to relax and take our time. Since we had a Room with an open-air bath, it was great to be able to bathe as many times as we wanted without worrying about the time. The Hotel staff told us that deer come into the garden, and although we were skeptical, we were truly surprised to see them from our Room. We look forward to staying again next time.

I stayed here the last time I visited Hokkaido and loved it, so this is a repeat stay. Although it’s a bit of a walk from Susukino Station, the price is reasonable and the bath and amenity quality is excellent. The large public bath is especially spacious, and with the open-air bath included there are plenty of baths to choose from. The natural Onsen feels amazing! The sauna also allows you to do loyly freely, and you can adjust the temperature as well. Even the toothbrush was sturdy enough that it felt wasteful to throw away after one use, and the skincare amenities were Sekkisei! The Hotel itself may be older, so there are some inconveniences like slow elevators that take a while to arrive, but overall it’s a very good Hotel. I’d like to stay here again when I come back to Hokkaido.

This was my first stay. The Hotel is adjacent to the station, making it convenient for sightseeing, and since my friend who traveled with me smokes, they were grateful to find a smoking Room, which is rare these days. The service was excellent, and from our Room on the 24th floor the night view was beautiful. We were also able to watch the sunrise and enjoy a quiet, dreamlike scene. The Room was thoroughly cleaned and well stocked with amenities. Coffee, tea, and sugar were provided, and while the drinks in the refrigerator are paid items, there was a wide selection. There is also a convenience store nearby, but we were able to relax comfortably in the Room without any hesitation. The breakfast was carefully prepared with thoughtful touches; including local dishes, it ranks among the best Hotels I have stayed at so far. Elevator security also felt reassuring, as the key card only worked for our Accommodation floor. I would definitely like to stay again.

My spouse and I stayed here, and it was such a wonderful Hotel that we truly thought, “We want to stay again.” The moment we stepped into the Room, a soft, pleasant aroma filled the air—and beyond that were huge windows spanning the entire space. The beautiful ocean stretched across the full view, and we were so moved that we couldn’t help saying “Wow.” Even in the morning, when we got out of bed and opened the curtains, we were amazed all over again by the sea right in front of us. It felt as if we were one with the ocean, and throughout our stay we found ourselves gazing out the window again and again. The dining was also outstanding. The Japanese course meal was delicious from start to finish, and you could really taste how fresh each ingredient was. The drink pairing to match each dish was great fun as well, and taking time to savor each combination became a special memory for us as a couple. Thanks to our Diamond member benefit with a 12:00 checkout time, after the standard 11:00 checkout time had passed we were able to use the rooftop lounge almost as if it were reserved just for us. Enjoying coffee in that quiet space while looking out at the ocean in front of us was pure bliss—an incredibly luxurious moment that felt like having the sea all to ourselves. The staff’s attentiveness was exceptional. At dinner, one male staff member carefully timed our drinks and shared thoughtful explanations about each dish. At breakfast, a young female staff member was cheerful and easy to talk with; thanks to our enjoyable conversation, even the meal tasted better. I was also touched when a housekeeping staff member noticed I had both hands full with coffee cups and quickly opened the door for me. Just one note: the road leading up to this Hotel is quite narrow, and since it was during Obon season with many people around, I felt slightly uneasy driving in. When I got lost on my first attempt and called the Hotel, a staff member came down to guide me—an act of kindness I truly appreciated. The view, food, hospitality—everything was excellent. It was a genuinely relaxing stay for us as a couple, and we would love to visit again.

I love Manyo-no-Yu’s hydrogen-rich water bath because it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth. Manyo-no-Yu also offers both Japanese and Western breakfast options, and during a Multiple Night Stay I enjoy choosing whichever I feel like each morning. I’d like to stay at more Manyo-no-Yu locations in the future.

The location was convenient, with easy access from the station, making it ideal for sightseeing and getting around. The Room was clean and comfortable, allowing me to relax and unwind. The staff were courteous and attentive, which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. It was a comfortable Hotel, and I would like to stay here again when I visit Hamamatsu. Thank you very much!!

It was close to the station and Nankinmachi, and because it faces a wide street, I felt safe even at night. The Room was compact and clean. The guest-only lounge was so well equipped that I wondered if it was really free. We stayed as a group this time, so having a space where we could gather and chat was very helpful. If I had to mention one thing, I would like a shower cap to be provided in the Room. I only noticed after getting ready for a bath, and I hesitated to go all the way to the front desk to pick one up. Advice for future guests: If your vehicle is tall, please be aware that there is no nearby parking available for high-clearance vehicles.

The Hotel is new, clean, and made for a very comfortable stay. I spent most of my time working on my laptop in the Room, and it was quiet, so I was able to get a lot done. There are also many convenience stores, drugstores, and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The Hotel also has vending machines and coin laundry facilities, so it seems popular with both business travelers and tourists. The Hotel staff were always kind as well. If I have plans in the area again, I would definitely stay at this Hotel next time.

We arrived in the evening and chose the plan with two meals included. The only convenience store within walking distance is a Lawson about 10–15 minutes away. Since you have to cross a national highway at night, it feels far. We were glad we added meals. The carefully prepared dishes were unique both to look at and to taste, and we really enjoyed them. I definitely recommend adding meals. We went early in the morning to Ritsuunkyo, came back for breakfast, rested in our Room, and then hiked up Takeda Castle; being able to take breaks along the way was great. This is a recommended Accommodation. Since it is an old traditional house Hotel, I would not recommend it to those who cannot enjoy an older building or who expect perfect Facilities.

I visited on a solo trip to Kyushu. I stayed for two nights, and both dinners were delicious. I could see Sakurajima from my Room, and the Onsen was very relaxing—overall, it was a very satisfying trip. The Shuttle Service from the station was also provided multiple times. However, perhaps due to the extreme heat of the season, the air conditioning in the hallway felt weak, and I ended up a bit sweaty on the way back to my Room after bathing.

The amenities were excellent (a choice of teas, bath salts, sunscreen, etc.), and the service was very good. Cleaning was perfect except for a bag of trash under the bed and a tea-like smell coming from the kettle. There were many thoughtful touches, such as an emergency smoke hood bag, a fire blanket (maybe for a mobile battery fire?), a microwave, rental manual washing machine, and a card used in place of a Room key. For a Multiple Night Stay, fresh towels are hung on the Room door, which is convenient. They were courteous both when storing luggage and at check-in. Check-out can be done on the in-Room TV, but I wasn’t sure whether the Room key card should be left in the Room or returned to the box by the entrance.
