As it’s a new Hotel, it was very clean, the Facility was well equipped, and it was comfortable to stay there! I was also very satisfied with the separate roomwear. However, the convenience store is a bit far, and depending on which ticket gate you exit at Yokohama Station, the route can be hard to find.

The parking lot is spacious, so there's no need to worry about parking even if you check in late. The Room and Facility were excellent, allowing for a comfortable stay. I would love to use this place again if I have the chance.

Check-in was busy, but they handled the procedure at a table in the lobby instead of at the counter, so it was smooth and I didn’t have to wait, which made me very happy. The post-bath relaxation area has tatami flooring and a wonderful view overlooking the castle. The black soybean tea and muscat juice there are delicious—it's my favorite soothing space. Breakfast is always prepared with care, with a wide variety of options, all very tasty. I also really appreciate the Shuttle Service to the station in the heat. This is an Accommodation that makes me want to come back again.

Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Although it was only for one night, I was able to relax deeply. As rumored, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, everyone’s hospitality was excellent, and the Room was wonderful. I’m truly glad I chose to stay here. Thank you very much for taking care of us during our 3-day, 2-night stay. We visited to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and thanks to your thoughtful hospitality, we were able to enjoy a relaxing and healing trip. Thank you. At the beach below the Hotel, it was quite windy due to a low-pressure system, but we were still able to snorkel and see some fish. The Room was just the right size, and we could relax comfortably. We also enjoyed the private open-air bath on the 5th floor without worrying about time, which made for a very restful experience. The meals were delicious from the jimami potage onward. Breakfast was also just the right amount and very enjoyable. It felt like there were more Western guests than we expected. We heard that an annex is scheduled to be completed next year, so we are really looking forward to it. We would love to stay with you again next time.

We were extremely satisfied with everything—the Facility, the Room, the meals, the staff service, and the activities. It’s perfect for families with small children, but even our group of five adults fully enjoyed the activities. In particular, the coordination among the activity staff and between the activity staff and Hotel staff was excellent, making our stay very comfortable.

Once again, from the Reservation stage onward, your courteous and kind service was outstanding. The Room, Onsen, and meals were all excellent, but above all, the staff’s hospitality is wonderful and makes me glad I come every time. In particular, the staff member who assists us in the private dining room is always exceptional. The male staff members on our previous visits were also excellent, and this time the female staff member was just as wonderful—her explanations were easy to understand, and her attentive service made it a pleasure to enjoy a delicious meal. Located just a short distance from Horyu-ji Temple, the building was new and very clean. As there were few guests on the day of our stay, we were upgraded to the West Wing. The bath was at a perfect temperature, and breakfast the next morning was delicious—this was our favorite Accommodation of the trip. On the Horyu-ji tour, the guide’s explanations were excellent, and the two hours flew by. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. It truly became a valuable and memorable journey.

We stayed with a same-day Reservation, and everything was excellent. We arrived later than planned and were almost late for our dinner Reservation, but every staff member remained welcoming and provided outstanding service. Thank you very much. Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were great. The dinner and breakfast were especially delicious, and the all-you-can-eat grilled fish at breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely like to stay again on our next visit.

I stayed one night at Seito in Tateyama and was able to truly relax both physically and mentally. The Accommodation had a calm, clean atmosphere, and the staff were courteous and attentive, which made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. From my room, I could see Tateyama’s gentle sea, and at sunset I found myself sitting by the window for quite a while just taking in the view. The meals featured plenty of local ingredients; in particular, the fish dishes were fresh and full of flavor, making the trip even more enjoyable. The semi-open-air bath was also perfect—the water temperature was just right, and it felt like my everyday fatigue slowly melted away. Overall, I felt this is an Accommodation with exceptionally high satisfaction for anyone who wants to spend time quietly. It was a stay that made me want to return in a different season.

Getting to Enoura Observatory on a previous trip was difficult due to limited access, so I was a bit worried since it’s nearby. However, the careful pick-up and drop-off at the station put me at ease. I wanted to see the ocean, so next time I’ll request a Room with a better sea view. I thoroughly enjoyed the chef’s outstanding skill, the variety of tableware, and the beautiful presentation (and of course everything tasted wonderful) — it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. They also served rare local fish with superb knife work, and I was able to savor fish I had never seen before. The flavor truly comes through because of that precise technique. As I don’t eat much, I asked for smaller portions; it must have been difficult to prepare, but they accommodated me thoughtfully and I was able to enjoy the meal. I look forward to visiting again for the cuisine next time as well.

It was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and everything tasted great. If I had to mention one thing, it would have been even better if regular coffee were served instead of instant coffee.

Obuse, the town of Hokusai and chestnuts, is known for its beautiful streetscape that feels almost like a theme park. We arrived a little early by car, so we visited Gansho-in Temple and Jokoji Temple before heading to Masuichi Kyakuden. The ceiling painting at Gansho-in—Katsushika Hokusai’s “Phoenix Glancing in All Directions”—was truly breathtaking. As soon as we pulled up in front of Masuichi Kyakuden, a staff member came right out and efficiently carried our luggage inside. The highly sought-after “Chestnut Dessert Suzaku,” which is notoriously difficult to secure, will be offered from 9/10 this year. Because guests staying at Masuichi Kyakuden receive priority guaranteed access, it becomes even harder to make an Accommodation Reservation for stays from 9/10 onward. Since our stay was before then, making a Reservation was easy. Stepping inside Masuichi Kyakuden, you’re immediately enveloped by the stately atmosphere of the kura storehouse building. Our Room was on the second floor; we chose the Relax Twin style. Despite being in a kura-style structure, it also has a terrace, with plenty of natural light and an open feel. There are also more traditional, calmer kura-style Rooms available; however, we were told they are designed with high ceilings to avoid any sense of confinement. Designed by architect John Morford, the Room is fully Western-style with extensive use of stainless steel—its glass-and-stainless bath is well worth seeing. Amenities are L’Occitane; the refrigerator includes complimentary drinks; plus coffee and tea—everything you’d expect from a high-end Ryokan-style stay is provided, making the Room very comfortable. For dinner, we walked about three minutes to Obusedo Honten (part of the same Masuichi group). Every dish showcased the head chef’s experience and refined sensibility. The soup course, simmered dishes, and grilled items had a Kyoto kaiseki influence—above all else, the dashi was exceptional. The sashimi was fresh and perfectly seasoned as well. Local ingredients were used throughout for very high satisfaction overall. One note: the first items served—lightly dressed Kurakake beans and Matsumae-zuke—are not part of the course menu itself (just so you know). They’re clearly intended as snacks with alcohol—especially sake brewed by Masuichi Ichimura Sake Brewery within the same group—and both paired beautifully with their sake: firm Kurakake beans soaked in elegant dashi alongside Matsumae-zuke packed with rich seafood umami made each sip even better than before. In autumn Obuse becomes all about chestnuts; while we couldn’t try “Chestnut Dessert Suzaku,” we did get to enjoy “Mont Blanc Suzaku,” a Western-inspired take on Suzaku. It’s available at their affiliated shop “Entotsu.” We nearly gave up due to long lines but learned that overnight guests can make Reservations—so we were able to enjoy it without waiting. If you stay at Masuichi Kyakuden, be sure to indulge in one of their “Suzaku”-style chestnut sweets if you can. Overall it was an outstanding stay—we thoroughly enjoyed Obuse from start to finish.

We had been looking forward to staying at this Accommodation for a long time. As reputed, everything was spotless, and we were very satisfied with the Room—it was a bit more spacious and had a layout different from a typical twin. The ceiling height on each floor also felt relatively high, giving it an airy feel. We were able to enjoy the bath privately and relax. Both yukata and samue were provided, and we chose the samue. It worked well as sleepwear. The meals were just right for us since we can’t eat large portions, and everything was delicious. The location was also very convenient, and we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I have stayed here several times, and I am always completely satisfied. The staff are kind and provide courteous service. This time, my Room was upgraded. The meals were as luxurious as could be, and after dining I was able to fully enjoy the open-air bath in my Room. It’s nearby, so I will come again for a change of pace.

It was a very comfortable space, and there were bathrooms with a sauna and jet bath on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so two families could use them without hesitation. There were also thoughtful provisions that made it possible to cook for ourselves, allowing us to enjoy a very fulfilling stay. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for a wonderfully comfortable Multiple Night Stay of three nights. When I returned from shopping, a male staff member in the lobby kindly asked, “Shall I take your luggage to your Room first?” Thanks to that, I was able to relax and enjoy sweets and coffee at the café. He was an excellent staff member. As expected of Okura Hotel. I will be staying for another three-night Multiple Night Stay at the beginning of the year, so I look forward to seeing you again.

This is my favorite Hotel in Yokohama. The interior is truly beautiful, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The Minato Mirai view is like a painting. Everyone at the front desk was gentle and courteous, which made me feel very welcome. Thank you for the wonderful Room. We didn’t add breakfast this time, but the room service curry was outstanding. The restaurant is great too, but enjoying a meal in the Room while relaxing and taking in the night view feels like a real luxury. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much. I will definitely return.

All staff were wonderful and attentive. Thank you for accommodating my husband’s dietary preferences. The food was delicious, and the beautiful tableware made it a feast for the eyes as well. The Room was lovely, and the bath was spacious, allowing us to relax and enjoy the Onsen at our leisure—we were impressed by everything. Thank you very much.

On August 7, with concerns about the impact of a strong typhoon, we headed to Kyotango—a trip we had been looking forward to for a long time. Due to my misunderstanding, I entered the entrance at 2:00 PM and found no one at the front desk. Of course—check-in starts at 3:00 PM. Even so, they assisted us right away and guided us to our Room in about 10 minutes. That was where I started causing trouble. I couldn’t wait for the dinner and breakfast that receive rave Reviews. Since we arrived early, I was also the first to use the large public bath. The view of the sea from the open-air bath was incredible. The right edge of the tub had a slope, so I assumed it was thoughtful design for children and elderly guests—but there was an identical slope on the left as well. Looking closer, I noticed the rim of the tub was curved: it was actually designed as a reclining bath. The slopes were made so you could lie back and still see the ocean. I enjoyed it alone, deeply impressed. Afterward, I had a canned beer and some complimentary sake (excellent) in the relaxation area and returned to our Room—then an accident happened: we received news of a death in our close family. After discussing with my wife, we decided to give up on breakfast we had been looking forward to. Since it took about 3 hours and 45 minutes on our way there, we asked at reception if we could leave early in the morning—and they kindly accommodated this as well. Dinner began while my mind was unsettled, but everything from the first appetizer onward was delicious, and my wife and I found ourselves exchanging smiles again and again. Partway through, we were guided outside to watch the sunset from the terrace—body, mind, and palate all completely satisfied. Despite our very early departure time, they even saw us off when we left. I was truly moved. We caused you so much inconvenience—thank you for giving us such an outstanding Accommodation experience.
