My spouse, our younger daughter, and my 88-year-old mother stayed for one night. The arrival briefing was thorough and easy to understand, and whenever we had questions—at any time or place—we always received accurate and courteous assistance. What made us happiest was celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday at the restaurant. As a complimentary service, they provided sea bream with celebratory red rice and a dish accompanied by sake. They also dressed my husband in a purple outfit and took a commemorative family photo for us. It became a wonderful celebration, and we were deeply moved by the restaurant staff’s thoughtful hospitality. The food was excellent, especially the fresh seafood. The Awa Odori event was also very enjoyable. Thanks to everyone at the Hotel and restaurant, it was an unforgettable trip, and we are truly grateful.

We stayed with our family during the Obon holidays. The meals featured presentations we had never experienced at any other Hotel, and the portions were just right—everything was absolutely delicious. Being able to watch the sunset from the lounge during dinner also became a wonderful memory. The lounge was very comfortable, not only for the view but also for its lovely interior that felt almost like a private space. However, family members who don’t drink alcohol wished there were a wider variety of cake-style sweets to go with coffee. Also, the duvet was too thick, so it would have been nice to have a summer option. We would definitely love to visit again.

This was my first stay, and just as everyone says, the meals were outstanding. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but this was the most delicious by far. It wasn’t just tasty—the menu was exciting too, and I truly looked forward to mealtimes. Personally, I was especially impressed by how delicious the sautéed splendid alfonsino was. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. In addition, the location offers great access to everywhere, making sightseeing easy and convenient. When I visit Izu again someday, I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

The views from the window—an unmanned station and the sea—were beautiful, and we were able to relax at a leisurely pace. Every dish was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the crab and shrimp. The Accommodation was quiet throughout, with a soothing atmosphere that made time feel as if it were gently passing by, allowing us to forget everyday life and truly unwind. It’s an Accommodation I’d love to visit again in a different season.

The view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge from the Room was breathtaking. The food was delicious, and we were able to relax in the luxurious large public bath. I wanted to have tea at the cafe, but unfortunately it was full, so I took a cake to go and enjoyed it in my Room. It was very tasty. There were various sightseeing spots nearby, and we enjoyed a pleasant walk around the area. We learned that a ferry departing Osaka around 9:00 p.m. passes right under the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, so we watched it from our Room. Recently, we traveled all the way to Moji on that ferry. When passing through the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, we could see the lights of Maiko Villa and it made us feel happy. We would love to visit again.

I stayed at a discounted Room, and although there were a few minor scratches on the door and around the water fixtures, it didn’t bother me at all. Since it was raining, I really appreciated the shoe dryer in the Room—it was extremely helpful. The large public bath was also very clean and very relaxing.

The Room ambiance, the meals, and the hospitality of the staff—everything was absolutely satisfying. In particular, the dinner tableware and presentation felt wonderfully special and made us feel truly pampered. We also booked an aroma massage, and we were very pleased with the therapist’s professional service (playing soothing music in our Room and carefully explaining each oil’s benefits).

I booked this place for a relaxing trip with friends because I’d long been curious about the view from the open-air bath. The moment we entered the Room, we were thrilled by how clean and stylish it was—and by the amazing view right in front of us. Dinner was delicious with a great variety of dishes. The sunset from the open-air bath was incredible. Breakfast also offered plenty of options, and the freshly made rice balls were especially tasty. For a hot summer trip, it was perfect to skip sightseeing and simply unwind at this wonderful Hotel and feel refreshed—and we even got a great deal thanks to a time sale. A Hotel I’d definitely love to visit again.

I was amazed by the amount of food served at dinner. There was more than I could finish, and given the times we live in, I felt very sorry about that. With plenty of fresh Sanriku seafood and a relaxing soak in the Onsen, it was an Accommodation I was extremely satisfied with.

Even though I don’t swim in the sea, I travel solo year-round in search of gourmet Accommodations near the coast (for the food and scenery). I was delighted to be upgraded to a sea-view Room. It was a Japanese-style Room, but it also had a leather sofa and ottoman, so I could stretch out and relax while gazing at the ocean. When I woke up around 5:00, I was able to watch a beautiful sunrise from the Room. There is a calm inner-sea beach right in front of the Accommodation, and there are showers as well—great for families with small children. The meals were outstanding, featuring an abundance of local specialties. My main goal was Wakasa-guji (tilefish), but it was even more delicious than I imagined—the Wakasa-guji ochazuke was exceptional. And the Matsunaga rice was unbelievably good (probably the best I’ve ever had). I didn’t use the public bath and used the shower in my Room instead, but I loved that the shampoo and conditioner were Hokurokusousui—one of my favorite brands—and it helped me relax. Recently there have been more Accommodations renovated from wooden buildings, but some noise—voices and footsteps—is unavoidable. You can often hear children as well. It’s not exactly quiet. However, more than making up for that, I felt each staff member’s hospitality and way of interacting with guests was wonderful. In particular: the woman with glasses who assisted me at check-in; the woman at breakfast (I’m sorry—I forgot your name); and one of the male staff members who kindly gave me helpful advice for sightseeing in Obama after check-out. Thanks to them, it became more than just an overnight stay—I had a chance to learn even more about Obama, making this trip extremely satisfying. I heard that midwinter is especially good for grouper, pufferfish, and Echizen crab. As transportation access improves from here on out, this will be an Accommodation you’ll want to visit even more. Next time it would be perfect if I could borrow a firmer pillow!! Please make that happen on my next visit!! (I can’t sleep if a pillow doesn’t suit me.) I used to visit the Onsen for day trips every year, but this was my first time staying overnight (2 nights). The spaces outside the Room were well equipped, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. Between the Onsen, complimentary alcohol and snacks, and manga, two days wasn’t enough time—I barely had time just to sleep in the Room. I think this is the No. 1 Accommodation as a base for horse-related activities.

First of all, choosing to stay overnight on Miyajima was absolutely the right decision, and this Accommodation was wonderful. The meals were excellent, the Room was spotless, and the property felt remarkably calm and quiet despite the bustle outside. The lounge is a stylish space where you can enjoy both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They also helped us with information about the island and ferry reservations, which we truly appreciated. This is an Accommodation we would love to return to.

For our annual summer trip as a couple, we made a Reservation at this Accommodation, which we had long wanted to visit. Although the Accommodation is surrounded by the sea, it was calm with very little ocean scent, and the sea breeze felt fresh and pleasant. There are only four Rooms, and after researching in advance, we Reserved a Room close to the deck and the sea—exactly the location we loved. Inside, there was a faint woody aroma. With features like a raised tatami area and subtle variations in the wood grain flooring design, it was simple yet extremely comfortable. It’s a small detail, but I was also happy that they had a high-quality hair iron available. For activities, we tried SUP and the sunset cruise. Even though it was cloudy, it wasn’t too hot—which actually made it easier to enjoy both experiences fully. My husband also enjoyed listening to records on the audio system in the lobby (I think). We had planned to watch the stars by a bonfire after dinner, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. However, one of the staff kindly prepared sparklers for us instead, and we were able to enjoy them quietly. The meals were course-style dishes that reflected glimpses of unique ideas from the local-born head chef. It was fun even imagining what would come next just from reading the menu. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and delicious; perhaps because of their background in Japanese cuisine as well, I found the dashi-based soup especially outstanding. Also, although everyone working in the kitchen seemed young, they created such a pleasant atmosphere—and each person appeared well trained in their specialty. It was a short trip, but we enjoyed an escape from everyday life and felt refreshed. I think we can go back to work with renewed energy. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that we’d love to return again in another season.

We were truly satisfied with both the meals and the Room! We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and the Onsen was incredibly relaxing. It was wonderful to be able to soak anytime without worrying about the time! The staff member who served our meals was very kind, and even in the morning, he shared helpful information before we headed out. He also saw us off until the very end, and we are sincerely grateful. It made for a truly wonderful trip. This is our No. 1 Accommodation we want to stay at again.

I had an important engagement and stopped by your city for the first time in four years on my way back from a business trip, and stayed one night. Because I felt more wear and tear than expected at the flagship Hotel where I stayed on my previous visit, I was looking for another option in the convenient city center when I found this Hotel. It is close to the station, with easy access to limousine buses, local buses, and taxis, so I hardly felt any of the transportation inconvenience that can be common in regional cities. As it is newly opened, the Room was clean, and the view from my Room—overlooking the islands of the Seto Inland Sea and all of Imabari—was wonderful. (It would have been even better if the windows were a bit larger.) Breakfast offered a relatively wide selection and tasted good as well, and I also really appreciated the complimentary welcome drink upon arrival on a hot day. The large public bath was spacious and clean, and being able to gaze at the night view through a large, beautiful window helped me unwind from the day’s fatigue and feel refreshed. It’s great that Imabari now has such a good Hotel. One point to note—not as something good or bad—is that there seem to be many international guests. I work in an international field so it didn’t bother me at all, but some people may feel unsettled seeing many overseas visitors in places like the lobby or large public bath in a regional city like Imabari. That said, during my stay there were no guests with poor manners.

Thank you very much for allowing us to spend such a relaxing time the other day. We traveled to Hokkaido to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and stayed here for our third night. Thanks to your many thoughtful gestures and warm hospitality, we had an absolutely wonderful time. We were truly surprised and delighted by the gift: you took photos of us and presented them with a message on a shikishi board. We have it displayed at home now. We also appreciated the complimentary champagne toast at dinner from the head chef, and the celebratory glutinous rice dish at breakfast. Everything was delicious—the kaiseki cuisine as well as the additional orders: crab, whelk, sweet shrimp, and uni sushi. It was a feast of wonderful flavors. The Onsen water had a silky texture, and I went to soak several times a day. Unfortunately it was cloudy when viewing from the open-air bath, but listening to the sound of the waves while soaking in water that left my skin so smooth was incredibly soothing. There were also four kinds of beer available after bathing, along with so many other complimentary services that I can’t list them all. Time flew by during our stay, and as we headed on to Hakodate next, we kept thinking that one night wasn’t enough. The tarako we had at breakfast was so delicious that we bought some to take home. It will be arriving soon by courier service, and I’m looking forward to enjoying it. Thank you very much.

I stayed here while visiting my hometown. When I lived in Sasebo City, I only knew of it, so when I came back home I usually stayed near the station, but this time I had more time and decided to stay here. The view was amazing—it really moved me to think that I grew up in such a wonderful place. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back home!! The service was great, and the room was clean and satisfying.

The location was excellent, and the views of Sanshiro Island and Suruga Bay from the Room, the bath, and the lobby were amazing. There were complimentary drinks and tokoroten available in the free lobby, and the private family bath was open—everything could be used without a Reservation. The night view from the rooftop was also wonderful, and we enjoyed it like a vacation home. The staff service was outstanding as well. We would love to stay again.

We stayed as a group of five with our daughter and son-in-law and our 5-month-old grandchild. It was our grandchild’s very first trip and their first Onsen experience. As it was a weekday, we were upgraded to the highest-grade Room, which made our stay extremely comfortable with no inconveniences at all. The attendant who looked after us seemed relatively new, but provided courteous service with care in every detail. The private open-air bath was wonderful, and we enjoyed delicious meals. The simmered golden eye snapper in particular had a gentle seasoning and was outstanding. It was also our first time trying the mixed breakfast dish, and it was very tasty. The location is close to Atami Ginza and Sun Beach, making it perfect for strolling around and enjoying local food. Thanks to you, it was a truly satisfying trip in every way. Thank you very much.

It was a girls’ trip with my high school classmates in our 70s, and we had an amazing time. The Room was spacious, with beds for four people, and the view from the balcony was great—nothing to complain about. However, during the hot summer season, it would have been nice to have a fan in the large public bath.
