The staff are wonderful. Guidance and help with any issues were handled smoothly, and everyone was full of kindness. I could really feel their pride in their work. The property was clean, and the breakfast was excellent! I’ve come to love Nara!! Next time, I’d like to stay a little longer. Thank you very much.

We made a Reservation because the bathroom has a washing area. The bathroom was so spacious that we could stretch out and relax in the tub. When we entered the Room, both the air conditioner and air purifier were already running, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.

This was my first time staying here. Because it is near an intersection, it was difficult to enter the Hotel parking lot. The facilities were comfortable. I thought the shaved ice ticket included in the Plan would be just a small sample, but it exceeded my expectations and was a great value.

It was wonderful. The Ryokan always had a pleasant incense fragrance throughout the building, which helped us relax. We even bought some as souvenirs. The staff member who explained everything during our meal was very courteous, and it truly warmed our hearts. We also used the private open-air bath, and it was great to be able to spend a relaxing time with our family. This is a Ryokan we would love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

I stayed on the 14th floor. This is my regular Accommodation when I’m in Osaka. This time, I was reminded again how helpful it is to have a mirror in the Room that I can use for makeup. I’ve stayed at other Daiwa Roynet Hotels as well, but they didn’t have a mirror, so I could only do my makeup in the bathroom. It’s a small thing, but it matters to me. I’ll be back again.

This is my second stay. The staff, the cleanliness throughout the property, the bath, and the Room were all very comfortable. I also love the atmosphere—it really feels like Nagata, or Osaka. The location near the station and the excellent access are perfect! I will definitely stay again!

I used it because it has a natural Onsen. It is a relaxing bath. The bathing area is not too bright, but not too dark either, so you can unwind. Even older guests can feel at ease. Right in front of the station, with parking available (parking is charged separately). For this price, the quality felt like a great value.

Everything was well provided, which was very helpful. The room was clean, the bathroom was easy to use, and it was comfortable. There was also a coin laundry and an ice machine with disposable paper cups. A phone charger was available as well. It was very convenient. The amenities such as the bed and TV were also comfortable. Several Hotel staff members were kind and helpful, and I would like to stay again.

It was a wonderful, very cozy Accommodation. From the moment you step through the entrance, a beautiful world opens up. The Room, the main house, and all the interior decor were lovely—I found myself wishing I could live in a home like this. I will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

Staying at Kisshotei with my family this time was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, the room was clean and cozy, and the staff were all very kind. The meals and hot spring experience were excellent. My family had a wonderful stay, and it left us with great memories from this trip. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi and mobile signal were somewhat unstable, which made it a little inconvenient to use. If this can be improved in the future, the stay would be even more perfect. Overall, I highly recommend it. If I visit Yamanaka Onsen again, I would love to stay at Kisshotei again!

I live in Kyoto City, and I chose this Hotel because I wanted to enjoy an Onsen and a delicious breakfast close by without traveling far. The result was beyond satisfying—it was such a wonderful stay that I thought, “I definitely want to come back again!” The cute yet elegant, almost overseas-like atmosphere lifted my mood the moment I arrived. The door leading to the guest Room floors requires you to tap your Room key card, which felt both luxurious and secure. I also enjoyed the organic drip coffee in my Room as a welcome drink, and it made me feel happy and comfortable right away. As for the Onsen—this was what I was most looking forward to—and I enjoyed it three times: in the evening, before bed, and again in the morning! I was especially happy with the complimentary beer service at the spa lounge available for guests who bathe by 6:00 p.m. I drank about half in the lounge and took the rest back to my Room; enjoying it while watching Kyoto’s cityscape shift from dusk into neon-lit night through the window was simply amazing. What impressed me most during this stay was breakfast! When entering the venue, after being greeted cheerfully by reception staff, everyone inside welcomed me with “Good morning,” and I instantly felt excited. Even though I dined alone, their thoughtful hospitality felt warm, and I stayed comfortable throughout. Every dish—Japanese and Western—was truly delicious. From freshly made dashimaki tamago prepared by the chef to Kyoto-style obanzai side dishes and detox water, I enjoyed trying many different items little by little. The service was also wonderfully smooth; each time I stood up, they quietly cleared empty plates without interrupting my meal. Before I knew it, an hour had passed as I savored breakfast. This may have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've ever had. Since checkout is at 11:00 a.m., it was also a great memory being able to visit nearby Rokkakudo Temple after breakfast. This is truly a treasure of a Hotel—easy to reach by public transportation, with high-quality Onsen baths and an outstanding breakfast that leaves you feeling refreshed. I'd love to recommend it to friends around me, and I'll definitely be back myself! Thank you very much for such a lovely time.

I love classic Hotels, and I first learned about this Hotel last year when I visited Yaotomi Shrine on Takeshima (as a day trip). I’d been hoping to stay here someday, so I was able to make it happen this time by taking advantage of a special offer. The guest room has been renovated with a modern design while preserving the charm of a classic Hotel, and I was captivated by the beautiful details. After walking all day in Nagoya, my tired body was completely refreshed. The bathroom was also very user-friendly—I ended up taking a bath twice, at night and again in the morning. I also enjoyed an early-morning tea time on the lounge terrace overlooking Takeshima, followed by an authentic breakfast served on beautiful silverware—very satisfying. All of the staff were extremely courteous, and I have no complaints at all. If I had to mention one thing… there is no Shuttle Service from Gamagori Station, so you’ll need to take a taxi or walk (just under 15 minutes). I understand it may be unavoidable, but I couldn’t help wishing there were some good alternative.

I had a comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. The Room (single room) was clean. I was also able to relax in the shared cafe area. Everyone working at the Hotel was kind and courteous, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. On my way out, I met one of the housekeeping staff members, who saw me off with a smile—another happy memory added. I would be glad to stay again in the future.

This was my first stay, and the Hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were also kind. I truly appreciate how they accommodated our last-minute changes. Some hotels have a distinctive odor, but I didn’t notice any unpleasant smell here. I would like to stay again.

We stayed here with four generations of our family, including our elderly parents. The Room was spacious and very relaxing. Our grandchild loved the kids’ room and played to their heart’s content. The open-air bath in the sky had an amazing view and was wonderful. All the staff were kind, making it a great Accommodation. Thank you very much.

August 6 is the day for a collective visit to our family grave in Kyoto, and I have stayed here for the past three years. The location is convenient (I travel to Kyoto by Hankyu Railway from Osaka Itami Airport), the price is reasonable, and there is a large public bath where I can relax. I’m also happy that it seems there are more Western-style options on the breakfast menu. I plan to stay here again next year as well.

We stayed here for a festival and sightseeing. This was our second stay, and we were satisfied as always with the great location and the well-equipped Hotel. However, the Room slippers had been changed to reusable ones, and that was the only thing we couldn’t use. Also, since it was raining, we had a hard time waiting for the coin laundry. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay with no inconveniences and were very satisfied. Thank you.

My 84-year-old mother wanted to eat conger eel, so the three of us visited together with my niece. We had a Reservation for the Yama-no-Iori Room, but since there was a cancellation, we were upgraded to a Room with an open-air bath, which made us very happy. There were many international staff members, and their service was truly pleasant and welcoming. The food was consistently delicious as always—nothing to complain about. We enjoyed conger eel in many different dishes: sashimi, grilled, shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, and more. The salt-grilled sweetfish was also excellent, and it was my first time trying sweetfish rice—delicious and very satisfying. My mother and I have visited several times before; it was my niece’s first visit, but she really liked it too, which we were glad to see. Just one thing: my niece said the pillow was a bit low, which was the only disappointment. We will be back again in October for the matsutake dishes with three families—my parents’ family and my sister and her husband’s family as well. Thank you very much!

Although the location was difficult to find using navigation, we managed to arrive. Since we had requested parking in advance (online), our name was placed on a traffic cone, which was a nice touch. The Room was neatly prepared, and perhaps by chance, the face towels were thick and very nice. Breakfast was also excellent: a variety of items were served in small bowls (including a cat-shaped dish). Unlike the casual offerings often found at Business Hotels, everything felt truly homemade with care, which made us very happy. We definitely plan to stay again.
