This was a trip I had been looking forward to, imagining Hakone as a cool summer retreat. With the typhoon’s influence, the weather was unpredictable—sunny at times, then suddenly rainy… Still, during our stay at the Hotel it remained cloudy enough to go for a walk, and I was satisfied. My first impression of the Hotel was that the Rooms are arranged along the building’s curved structure, and I was truly impressed by how calming it felt no matter where you were. Since dinner coincided with a family birthday, we appreciated the congratulatory words and the thoughtful attention from the staff. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful time and were very happy. Thank you very much. As for portion sizes, they were just right for me, and each dish was carefully prepared and delicious. For breakfast we chose the buffet. There was a wide variety—too much to try everything—but it felt a little cramped when carrying plates while choosing dishes. The guest room was clean and beautifully maintained. We could catch glimpses of Mt. Fuji from our Room, and we found comfort in the quiet of Lake Ashi and birdsong—it was very relaxing.

We stayed here for the first time with our dog to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The welcome drink and dessert were very delicious! The welcome treat for dogs also seemed tasty—our pup finished it in no time! There’s also a drink bar available at certain times, which was great. They even have alcohol, which was the best!! The dog run was air-conditioned, so it was comfortable even in midsummer. Our dog ran around until completely tired out. Dinner is buffet-style, so it’s hard to decide what to eat (lol). The roast beef and sashimi served as a one-plate set at the table were amazing! Alcohol is available for an additional fee, but the food is so good you can’t help wanting a drink (lol). You can dine together with your dog, and there’s also a buffet just for dogs, so we really enjoyed the meal. Since it was our daughter’s birthday, we ordered a cake for an additional fee, and it was delicious as well! The staff celebrated with us too, and our daughter was thrilled! You can also use a private bath. We used it this time; we had 90 minutes, so we could relax without rushing. Dogs are allowed in the private bath too, which is wonderful! There were post-bath drinks and ice cream in the fridge—also fantastic! It’s well worth paying the extra fee! By the way, I also used the large public bath in the morning. The view was great, and it felt wonderful bathing while looking out over Lake Hamana! The breakfast sandwiches were filling and very tasty! They come with pudding too—again, amazing! One of the reasons this Hotel felt so good is definitely how pleasant all of the staff are!! Everyone we met was smiling; they talked to our dog and played with him too. Our pup got lots of love! If I had to mention something negative: although parts have been renovated, there were some areas where you could feel that the building itself is old and showing its age. But personally, there were far more positives than anything else. How easy it is to stay with your dog here, how great the staff service is, how delicious the food is, how relaxing the baths are—we went home satisfied as a whole family! I’m glad we chose this Hotel for our first overnight trip with our dog. We’d love to stay again!!

I stayed with my puppy. This is the Hotel my previous dog loved. I had decided that our first overnight stay would be at this Hotel. It has been over a year since my previous dog passed away, and it was probably more than two years since our last stay. Even though it had been quite some time, thank you for your kind thoughtfulness toward my previous dog. You even prepared an offering meal for him (there was a small mistake in the kanji, but that just made us smile). At checkout, you also gave us an offering as well. I was so moved that I couldn’t stop crying. In fact, during our second stay with the puppy last month there was a small mix-up; when I wrote about it in a Review, you responded immediately and I truly appreciated it. I feel embarrassed that I quickly wrote a Review about my complaint, yet delayed writing this thank-you Review for what you did for my previous dog. I am very sorry. The hospitality and Facilities—everything—are wonderful at this Hotel. We will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

I had a very comfortable stay. It was close to the station and very convenient. I was impressed that the skincare products at the amenities bar were Sekkisei. This time I booked No Meals Included, but I would have liked to try the breakfast if I had the chance.

We stayed here as a couple.\n\nWe had been interested in this Accommodation for some time, and after actually staying, it exceeded our expectations. Above all, the milky-white free-flowing Onsen from the source was outstanding, and soaking at a leisurely pace felt truly luxurious. We also enjoyed the private open-air bath together without any worries, which became a wonderful memory.\n\nBoth dinner and breakfast featured carefully prepared dishes that made the most of local ingredients, and we were completely satisfied with both the taste and portion sizes. Everything at both meals was delicious, and we were impressed to enjoy freshly made dishes served piping hot.\n\nThe staff’s hospitality was warm, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout our stay, making it very comfortable. The Room was clean and had a calm atmosphere, allowing us to slowly unwind from everyday fatigue.\n\nThe Onsen, cuisine, and hospitality were all excellent—we were satisfied in every way. This is an Accommodation we would highly recommend to couples looking to enjoy a relaxing Onsen trip.\n\nThank you very much for everything. I stayed in a single room for one night. The Room seemed to be convertible into a twin, with a sofa that could turn into a bed. I was slightly concerned about the futon stored under the desk, presumably for use when set up as a twin, but the Room was spacious, clean, and overall very pleasant. The fact that there was no unpleasant smell in the bathroom made it particularly comfortable. There was a system to notify guests of breakfast crowd levels, which I checked; however, there seemed to be quite a discrepancy between the display and reality (it showed "crowded," but when I arrived, more than half of the seats were empty). Being on the 7th floor might have caused some delay during my trip down. The breakfast selection wasn’t extensive but covered all key points and left me satisfied.

The Room allowed smoking, but it was very clean and had no smell at all. There was no noise from outside; the only sound I could hear was the refrigerator motor near the pillow, so I was able to spend my time quietly. If you go by car, the parking lot is spacious, and it is conveniently located right next to a main road. It was excellent.

The Room had a private open-air bath, and it was wonderful. We also enjoyed the delicious drinks and snacks. The meals were generous in portion, and the Yamato beef shabu-shabu was especially excellent. The children were thrilled with the table tennis and board games as well!

We traveled to Miyazaki from Osaka as a family of three for our daughter’s birthday, because she wanted to try authentic spicy ramen. It was a very hot midsummer day, but the Room was cool, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom with a jet bath was spacious, and we were also delighted with the BVLGARI amenities. Since we hadn’t made a Reservation for the dinner course, we asked for à la carte at the restaurant at short notice. The cheerful chef kindly listened to our requests, and we enjoyed delicious Miyazaki beef and wine in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. For breakfast, the three of us ordered different dishes—Japanese-style breakfast, Western-style breakfast, and Eggs Benedict—and everything was excellent. As we didn’t need to drive anywhere afterward, we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks from the morning. In particular, the original(?) sausage in the Western-style breakfast was so flavorful that I wished I could have had more—either as seconds or even as a takeaway. During our stay, they also prepared a birthday celebration plate for our daughter, recommended a great spicy ramen shop, and gave us time to relax in the lounge with drinks while enjoying conversations with our daughter that we don’t often get to have. Thanks to this warm hospitality from all the staff who created such a welcoming environment, it became an extremely comfortable trip to Miyazaki. I truly think this is a highly recommended Hotel. To all the staff members: thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

This was a return visit. I stayed here to visit my family’s grave and Koryu Shrine. The warm hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff was truly pleasant. The meals were delicious both to the eye and the palate. Breakfast included a partial buffet, and everything was always kept beautifully arranged. The bath and changing area were consistently clean and well maintained, which impressed me with how attentive the staff are. This is an Accommodation that makes you want to stay again!

Unfortunately, it was raining, but towels were provided in front of the front desk, and I was impressed by how thoughtful that was. The hotel is close to the station, and the bath was great. After bathing, I enjoyed some ice cream while taking in the beautiful view. The late-night soba was excellent, and breakfast was also very delicious. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. Four women stayed in a Japanese-Western style room—ocean view!! We relaxed on the spacious sofa, and our conversation really flowed. Above all, the meals were outstanding. Every dish in the creative dinner was simply “Delicious!” Breakfast was a perfect 100, too! The front desk’s attentiveness and the restaurant’s serving timing were also flawless.

We stayed in a villa with our family of four and our Chihuahua. Since it’s a bit away from the main building, we were very satisfied that Shuttle Service was provided each time we needed it. The Room and bath were amazing, and our daughters were excited the whole time! The food quality was excellent—especially the risotto, which was incredibly delicious. We also used the pool and were very satisfied. If I could share just two suggestions: since we traveled with our dog, it would have been nice if the area around the villa had better-maintained paths for walking. Also, while Wi‑Fi was available, we wished the TV had internet access so we could watch Netflix or YouTube. Overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you very much.

I stayed with my elderly mother. After letting them know in advance, they prepared a Room close to the bath and even provided a legless chair, which we truly appreciated. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and each one was delicious—we were very satisfied. My mother was especially happy to enjoy many different dishes little by little. The bath was a milky, cloudy hot spring, with the temperature just right, and it felt wonderful no matter how many times we went in. We were able to relax and spend quality time together as parent and child while warming up slowly. Most Accommodations provide only one small towel, but here there was an extra small towel in addition to the amenity set (with towels), which I found very convenient. The experienced staff had a calm, reassuring “true hotel professional” manner, and their explanations about the facilities were very thorough. The international staff also made a great effort to explain things in Japanese, and their friendly smiles left a strong impression. I think this is an Accommodation with warm hospitality that is also considerate for families traveling with elderly relatives. I would love to visit again with my mother.

I stayed here a year ago as well, under unfortunate circumstances. This time, I returned for the first anniversary memorial service. It was very reassuring that the front desk staff member was the same as last year, since I rarely stay at a Hotel alone. When I mentioned it, they said, “I’ll probably be here next year too.” The atmosphere was very welcoming and felt like being back at my family home.

Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were very satisfied. Everyone I traveled with agreed it was delicious and finished every bite. The staff were courteous, and we had a wonderful time with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. Thank you very much.

I stayed overnight in Shimonoseki and was looking for an Accommodation where I could truly look forward to the meals. Since there was a Plan that included both fugu and beef, I made a Reservation right away. The building is a long-established culinary Ryokan with a sense of history, and I heard that locals use it for weddings and funerals as well as to enjoy seasonal fish dishes. The fugu was served as tessa (a Kansai term), with thick slices and an exceptional sweetness. The Miyazaki beef was also tender, and the combination was easy to enjoy. The dishes may look simple at first glance, but each one is carefully crafted—far beyond anything an amateur can judge. The staff were polite yet relaxed, offering thoughtful, unobtrusive service that made my stay very comfortable. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it to travelers whose main priority is the Facility. As a long-established Ryokan, the building clearly shows its age in a good way, and you can tell it has been carefully maintained. This was my first stay here, but I would definitely like to return the next time I visit Shimonoseki. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation was the final stop on our 3-night, 4-day summer trip through Okayama, Tottori, and Shimane, and it was truly a wonderful place to end our journey. Check-in was very courteous and smooth, and I was surprised—in a good way—that an attendant escorted us to our Room while explaining the building along the way, which is rare these days. They also carefully explained everything in the Room, and I was impressed by the traditional level of hospitality. The Room had great taste, and the open-air bath in the Room was free-flowing Onsen water. It was a bit hot, but adding some water quickly made it comfortable enough to enter, so we enjoyed it many times during our stay. With Rooms that have an open-air Onsen bath, insects often get into either the bath or the Room, but for some reason we had no such issues here and were comfortable throughout. Dinner was served in a private room; the attendant’s explanations were thorough, and everything tasted excellent. The final dish seemed especially delicious—my husband and son even asked for seconds. Breakfast was buffet-style. We went at a later time close to last order, but we were not rushed at all and could enjoy our meal comfortably until the end. We chose late check-out as well. Although there were hardly any other guests around at that time (at other Hotels with late check-out there are usually few staff members left and no send-off), they continued to assist us until departure—taking photos for us and seeing us off properly—which felt like outstanding service. In addition, there were foot reflexology massages as well as foot baths, hand baths, and even face baths. Our Plan also included lounge access—all of which we enjoyed. It is rare to find such a large Ryokan (Hotel) with excellent Facility offerings, ample staffing levels, great service, plus wonderful meals and Onsen. It really shows their dedication. We had a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

This was our first stay. My wife, who is very particular about everything, said, “This Room is comfortable, so we’ll be fine,” and even wanted to cancel the other Hotels we had planned. We were wondering what to do for a four-week Hotel stay during our home renovation, so we consulted the front desk. Despite being busy, they kindly helped us, and as a result we changed our plans and stayed long-term. The breakfast selection was extensive, and my wife—who rarely eats out due to food allergies and usually has to cook for herself—enjoyed it every morning without getting tired of it. The lounge, the Onsen, and the parking were all excellent as well, and every staff member was very courteous. When we mentioned a concern about cleaning, they responded immediately. We are truly grateful that our long stay went smoothly. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.
