All the staff had wonderful smiles, the art-filled space was relaxing, and the food was excellent—our child was smiling the whole time. We thought it would be even better if children could stay together in a wider variety of Rooms. It became a great summer memory.

All staff members were courteous and attentive. The meals were thoughtfully prepared with enjoyable touches, and we could even have dessert in the lounge after dinner, which was very refreshing. The bath was a spacious unit bath, and since it can be filled with Onsen water, we were able to relax and enjoy the Onsen in our Room. We would like to stay again.

As a couple, we were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable stay. We had high expectations because the Reviews were highly rated, and this Hotel truly lived up to them. The Room layout is closer to that of a Business Hotel, but it was very clean, well equipped, and we had no complaints. The large public bath was never crowded, so we were able to use it several times during our stay. There was also a massage chair, which made it easy to unwind and relax. Breakfast was a standard buffet with plenty of variety. The French toast in particular was delicious. We also enjoyed visiting the adjacent Isuzu Plaza more than we expected. If you stay here, I recommend making a Reservation in advance for the tour.

I was able to step away from my busy daily routine and enjoy a calm, high-quality 3-day, 2-night stay. The front desk staff’s polished service was truly pleasant, and I felt reassured from the moment I arrived. The Room was kept beautifully clean and well arranged, and I could sense thoughtful attention to detail throughout. I believe this is an appealing Accommodation, perfect for adults who want to relax quietly in Kamakura. Also, the email replies to my inquiries (before my stay) were very prompt, which was extremely helpful.

I stayed here on my birthday last year and had a wonderful time, so this time I stayed for two nights to celebrate my friend’s birthday as well. The meals, the baths, and the hospitality were all excellent—I was completely satisfied! I’m also grateful to the staff member who took care of us. Thank you for bringing the cake to our Room after dinner. I was also happy to receive the flower gift from the Accommodation. We could see the ocean from our Room, and it almost felt like a waste to go out. It’s quite far from Yokohama, but I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you as well for the Diamond Member benefits. We went fishing, but perhaps as a safety precaution, the barbs on the hooks were too small and we couldn’t keep bait on them. Since I usually enjoy fishing, it was disappointing, but next time I’d like to bring my own hooks and bait.

I stayed here as a birthday gift for my sister. We were amazed the moment we entered the Room—not only did you prepare a Room with a view of the five-story pagoda, but you also gifted us sparkling wine to celebrate. My sister was absolutely thrilled. In the lounge, we enjoyed a wide variety of drinks and alcohol, along with visually stunning sweets and carefully crafted dishes. At night, we dined at the rooftop bar while taking in Kyoto’s night views. For breakfast, I chose a conger eel hot pot—something rare for a Hotel breakfast—and truly savored Kyoto’s summer flavors. We were also able to visit Kiyomizu-dera early in the morning when it was quiet and uncrowded, which made us very happy. It seems it became a wonderful memory for my sister as well. Thank you very much for taking so many photos for us.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and it was excellent—the amenities were well stocked and the Room was clean and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were luxurious and delicious. The service was also very polite and attentive. This is a Ryokan we would definitely recommend.

The facilities were up to date, and the security was excellent. The Ryokan was also very clean and hygienic. Both dinner and breakfast were delicately and elegantly seasoned, everything was fresh, and we enjoyed every dish—it was all delicious. This is a Hotel we would definitely want to stay at again! On my first trip to Hiroshima, I stayed here first. The Room was clean, spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. All the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, which made for a wonderful trip. I would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.

The French cuisine here is delicious. The meat is especially tender and melts in your mouth. According to the sommelier, they put a great deal of effort into their meat dishes. The sommelier’s sense of humor made the experience even more enjoyable. I was able to buy butter from Oratche Farm! I’d be happy to see you again.

I was looking for a Room with an open-air bath and in-room dining. About a 45-minute drive from Kanazawa, with a zoo and the mysterious Hanibe Gankutsu-in nearby, it felt like the perfect place for the first night of our 2-night, 3-day trip, so we decided to stay here. First, when we arrived about 10 minutes past check-in time, everyone was waiting outside in this heat, and since we weren’t used to that kind of welcome, we felt truly apologetic (lol). I was surprised by how vast the grounds were—our Room was spacious, and best of all, it had the semi open-air bath I’d been hoping for! Having a dedicated staff member (?) take care of us throughout our stay also made us feel at ease. This time it happened to be my companion’s birthday month… and when I casually mentioned it, they gave us a birthday gift at dinner. On top of that, the proprietress even put on a surprise (no spoilers), which made it such a fun and memorable experience. We heard the meals change daily, so I think even a Multiple Night Stay would be enjoyable. There are also two large public baths that are more than enough to enjoy even without an in-room bath—we were able to relax and unwind. Above all, we really appreciated the warm hospitality from all the staff. In the end everything worked out well, but since it was their birthday month I requested an additional dinner item in advance; however, on the day we were told that if we ordered that menu they would like to serve dinner not in our Room but in another private dining room instead. Since I had been looking forward to in-room dining as well, I would have appreciated being informed at the time of ordering that this might happen. That said, the room they prepared for us was private—and actually it worked out better for messy people like us because we didn’t have to rush around tidying up before dinner—so we were very satisfied. Next time I’m thinking of visiting during my own birthday month so I can experience the proprietress’s surprise again. Thanks to you all, it turned into a wonderful Kanazawa trip. I visited on the 17th and 18th of last week for a refresh vacation. When I arrived, there were so many people along the Narai-juku street that it was difficult to make my way in. The garden outside my Room was spacious and could be enjoyed from the floor-to-ceiling window, creating a calm atmosphere where time seemed to slow down. I was able to spend some quiet, relaxing moments. Both the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! I was also very satisfied with the dinner pairing—the selections matched perfectly. Personally, one dish featuring locally grown vegetables and the gin and tonic served as part of the pairing were especially memorable! The staff at BYAKU Narai were easy to talk to, and I really enjoyed our conversations—it became a wonderful memory. This time I missed out on trying the whisky, so next time I’d like to make sure I don’t forget. I also forgot to buy a bottle for home (haha).

I didn’t realize there was a Ryokan tucked away behind the central sightseeing area of Amanohashidate. Because it is set back, the grounds were quiet despite being in a tourist spot, and I could hear birdsong and the sound of the waves. The building has been renovated, and the Room amenities were up to date; the bath was also very clean. The Onsen in the large public bath isn’t big, but it was comfortable because I didn’t run into anyone, and it was nice to be able to enjoy coffee after bathing. The meals were generous enough to satisfy even someone with a big appetite like me, and everything tasted great. For breakfast, a chef came to our private dining room and cooked dashimaki right in front of us—it was a wonderful surprise. The Nepalese staff member explained the many ingredients in Japanese, and their service was polite and pleasant. I would love to stay again.

We arrived after climbing the slope of Mt. Daisen for a while in light rain and mist. Seeing the word “Church,” we hesitated for a moment, but when we opened the wooden lobby door, we found a charming space unified in an antique style—like stepping into a Kenji Miyazawa story. You can truly feel how much the owner couple and staff value and care for their guests. Once shown to our room, the fog gradually lifted, revealing beautiful views of Yonago’s cityscape in the distance, along with the Sea of Japan and Lake Nakaumi. The open-air bath on the terrace was pure luxury, soaking while taking in the spectacular scenery. Dinner was exceptional both in presentation and taste. We also enjoyed chatting with the dining staff, and the timing of each course was perfect. In this quiet natural setting, we spent blissful time that felt well beyond its price. A highly recommended Accommodation.

The Room had a great view and was spacious, making our stay very comfortable. We also appreciated being able to relax while enjoying music in the bath, shower, and vanity area. The staff were all very kind and attentive, which we truly appreciated.

I caused you a great deal of trouble, but everyone spoke to me so kindly that it truly helped me. The price is almost too low! The in-room lotion was my favorite brand, there were two sinks, and both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. It was a shame there was no view from the open-air bath, but I found myself hoping—thinking from the owner’s perspective—that your service will continue just as it is so you won’t lose guests until the construction is finished. Even without a view from the window, this is a wonderful Ryokan. Thank you very much for everything.

We stayed as a group of five with our daughter and son-in-law and our 5-month-old grandchild. It was our grandchild’s very first trip and their first Onsen experience. As it was a weekday, we were upgraded to the highest-grade Room, which made our stay extremely comfortable with no inconveniences at all. The attendant who looked after us seemed relatively new, but provided courteous service with care in every detail. The private open-air bath was wonderful, and we enjoyed delicious meals. The simmered golden eye snapper in particular had a gentle seasoning and was outstanding. It was also our first time trying the mixed breakfast dish, and it was very tasty. The location is close to Atami Ginza and Sun Beach, making it perfect for strolling around and enjoying local food. Thanks to you, it was a truly satisfying trip in every way. Thank you very much.

I originally made a Reservation at “Nene no Michi Bettei,” but due to a change in Room allocation, I ended up staying at Hotel VMG Kyoto Kamogawa. From check-in to check-out, I was deeply impressed by the staff’s impeccable attention to detail and thoughtful hospitality. Sleeping in the bedroom while gazing up at the coffered ceiling felt like an “exceptional escape from everyday life.” At the paid lounge, alcohol and other drinks are available free-flow, with snacks as well—it truly feels like a private lounge. Because the property preserves the character of a historic building, soundproofing is not perfect; however, it more than makes up for it with an elegant, nostalgic atmosphere. The Japanese-style room next to the bedroom overlooks a small courtyard garden and offers a wonderfully atmospheric view that made time feel as if it passed more slowly. That said, perhaps because the air conditioning does not reach this room easily, I found the heat noticeable. Although it would involve additional cost, lending spot coolers or simple heaters to guests upon request during limited seasons (summer/winter) could help make better use of this room and may also become a new experiential highlight—especially for international travelers. I’m truly grateful to all of the staff for giving me such an extraordinary stay. This is a Hotel I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an “indescribably exceptional escape from everyday life.”
