This was my second stay. It was a Multiple Night Stay, and I really appreciated that complimentary water was included along with the replacement towels. Many places don’t offer that these days. The building was clean and comfortable to stay in. However, the hallway felt a bit too dark.

All the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, friendly, and wonderful!! Even though it was very reasonably priced, the Room was clean, there was a private bath, a relaxing area with manga and games, free drinks, a microwave, and access to the rooftop—our kids were delighted! Overall it was compact and easy to get around, making it very comfortable to stay! This time we booked No Meals Included, but next time we’d like to come back and relax with meals included as well! Thank you very much!

The garden was lovely, and we really enjoyed our walk. It was quiet and relaxing. We stayed in the Kinko storehouse Accommodation. Although you can’t see outside from the Room, the cute sliding door that rattles as it opens added charm, and we relaxed on the blue sofa. If you have small children, the stairs may be a bit hazardous. The Room mixes old and new elements, but because the original design has been respected, there were a few unexpected protrusions. The meals were excellent—so delicious! We were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. Given how good the food was, we felt the price was very reasonable. We also appreciated the fireworks after dinner. Since there are hardly any lights around, the fireworks looked even more magical. It made for a wonderful summer holiday. Thank you very much.

I stayed one night to explore Midagahara. Compared with the Murodo area, there were fewer people, and it was a very calm Hotel. I could enjoy walking around at my own pace, which was great. I also enjoyed the Hotel’s guided walks and stargazing. The meals were delicious, and the one-hour free-flow drinks option was a great value. I would love to visit again.

The Facility was very clean and comfortable, and it felt like coming back to the countryside. The bath was private, and having meals served in our Room was wonderful. The futon was fluffy, and I slept soundly. The hostess had a calm, relaxed manner that put me at ease, and the hospitality was outstanding. Thank you very much.

Planning a trip to Mie with the hope of making a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Ise Shrine, we were drawn to how wonderful the VISON villas looked and decided to stay here. The Room was clean and refreshing, simple yet very functional, and I felt deeply soothed by the garden view from the bath. We stayed for three nights, and for breakfast we had: (1) the Nouniyell buffet, (2) takeout from Mariage de Farine (bread with soup, salad, and dessert), and (3) takeout from Ureshino Tofu Nose. Everything was excellent! In particular, Ureshino Tofu Nose’s takeout bento may have been the best takeout meal I’ve ever had. Relaxing in our Room, we enjoyed glossy freshly cooked rice and plenty of piping-hot side dishes rich with dashi—an incredible luxury first thing in the morning. For lunch and dinner as well, we tried various places within VISON—dining in or getting takeout—and everything was delicious. The lean tuna sashimi we had after the tuna-cutting show was outstanding. The villa also has a large sink in the Room, so eating in and cleaning up afterward felt easy and stress-free. We also ordered Nouniyell room service—the meat dish and Caesar salad were delivered freshly made and were truly delicious! Honso-yu was also wonderful; even though it was midsummer, a cool breeze blew through the outdoor bath area, allowing us to relax completely. It was easy to drive to both Ise Grand Shrine and Toba Aquarium, making this an amazing trip. We were grateful for all of the VISON staff’s thoughtful yet unobtrusive hospitality—it was a genuinely happy stay. We definitely want to come again. Thank you very much.

After staying at Mikazuki Hotel in Chiba (Katsuura and Kamogawa) last year and the year before, we visited Nikko Kinugawa Hotel Mikazuki for the first time this year. With the all-inclusive plan, we could enjoy a welcome lunch right after arrival and use the pool as well, and the kids seemed to have a great time. Both Japanese and international staff provided excellent service, with thoughtful attention throughout, which really impressed us. I was excited about the all-you-can-drink alcohol from the welcome lunch onward, and my wife and grandparents also loved how clean the Hotel was and how good the service was—so we would definitely like to stay again! Thank you very much for taking care of us for two days.

Thank you for taking care of our family of four for one night and two days. One of us was delayed due to work and might not have made it in time for dinner. When we informed the staff, they kindly changed our dining Room and made various thoughtful arrangements so that even if we arrived late, we could relax without rushing. We were in a difficult situation, and I was truly moved by your deep hospitality. I asked for their name, but they said, “We all do this together...” To Mr./Ms. K-sawa and all the staff members at the dinner venue, thank you very much for everything. I was deeply impressed. We will come again. Thank you so much!!

I’d been wanting to visit for a long time, and if I was going, I really wanted to stay on the Sky Floor. While trying to avoid the rainy season and the heat, I was lucky enough to secure a Reservation on the Sky Floor, so I was truly looking forward to it. Then, unbelievably, a typhoon arrived on our stay date (lol). I kept checking the forecast hoping it would clear up, and maybe my wish came true—the typhoon veered away—so we were able to enjoy everything to the fullest! The ocean view from the bed in our Room and the scenery from the open-air bath in the guest room were both absolutely stunning. The infinity bath in the large public bath also moved me. The meals were delicious too—the broth for the conger eel shabu-shabu was outstanding. If I can get another Reservation, I’d definitely love to come back. It was also great that our Room had both a ReFa and a Dyson hair dryer!

I was surprised to find someone waiting to welcome us at the entrance when we arrived by car. We were greeted by the scent of lilies, and while waiting our turn for check-in, my husband quickly started enjoying a beer. Our Room was on the 3rd floor and felt more spacious than expected. The tatami flooring made it very comfortable. The view from the window was wonderful, and we kept it open for a while just to enjoy it. The amenities were well stocked, and we didn’t feel any inconvenience. One thing I noticed was that there was quite a large step up into the in-room toilet, which made me a little worried about tripping if I got up during the night. What stood out most was the wide variety of dishes at dinner. The boat platter we reserved was extremely fresh, and the sushi prepared right in front of us was delicious as well. I love grilled seafood, and I went back for it twice. The steak was also excellent. We couldn’t possibly try everything—of course there wasn’t any room left for late-night ramen, so I’d like to have that next time (laugh). We made our Reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and they surprised us by bringing dessert and taking photos for us—it became a truly happy memory. Breakfast was also buffet-style. In the morning, I made my own seafood rice bowl and enjoyed it very much. The freshly cooked French toast was delicious too. There were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all—it was a one-night stay filled with food that delighted both our eyes and taste buds. Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff who always greeted us with smiles—we had a very pleasant stay at your Accommodation. We will visit again.

I stay here several times a year—four times so far this year—and I plan to visit once more before the end of the year. The buffet and kaiseki meals are delicious, and the Onsen and Facilities are clean, so I’m always very satisfied.

As always, I soak in the spacious public bath, head back to my Room, hit the sauna like I always do, take a cold shower, and then slip into the Onsen in my Room. It’s the classic routine I’ve repeated many times whenever I stay at Sennentei. At dinner, I take a big gulp from a frosty mug—absolutely irresistible. Both dinner and breakfast are delicious, with all kinds of local specialties to enjoy. Tottori is truly a great place to spend a holiday, and Sennentei is especially relaxing even by Tottori standards. In May, stocking up on Ohara tomatoes on the way home—and in late August, buying plenty of Nijisseiki pears—is another one of my usual traditions.

Although it was the rainy season and we were concerned about the weather, we had good weather and enjoyed a comfortable one-night stay thanks to the excellent hospitality throughout the property. The meals were also delicious, with well-crafted creative dishes. We felt this is a Ryokan we would like to visit again in a different season.

The atmosphere of the main building was wonderful. Maintaining such a historic building must take a lot of effort, so I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept it was. This time we chose the newer wing where we could enjoy the Onsen in our Room, but next time I would love to stay in one of the lovely Rooms in the main building, such as Sanraku or Kumoi. Dinner and drinks were delicious, and being able to enjoy them in our Room made it feel truly luxurious. All of the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and we made great summer memories. We will definitely come again.

I was extremely satisfied with this wonderful Hotel. The Room, bath, view, and food were all outstanding! Without a doubt, it’s the best Hotel or Ryokan I’ve ever stayed at. It’s quiet, and the adults-only environment is excellent. We also enjoyed the lovely bar—it felt like a waste to leave after just one night. Next time, we’ll come to Hokkaido just to stay here!

I stayed one night on the “A Little Luxury! Spiny Lobster, Abalone, and Shimane Wagyu—A Kaiseki Feast Packed with All of Shimane’s Gourmet Delights!” Plan. As the name suggests, dinner was truly lavish. In addition to spiny lobster, abalone, and Shimane Wagyu, I was able to enjoy a wide variety of delicious local specialties from Shimane all at once. There were plenty of dishes, each one carefully prepared, and everything was delicious right through to the end. If you’re thinking, “Since I’m in Shimane anyway, I want to eat lots of great food,” this is a Plan I highly recommend. I booked my stay looking forward to dinner, and it exceeded my expectations—I was completely satisfied. Not only the food but also the staff’s hospitality was wonderful, and I had a very comfortable stay. Their service was polite yet relaxed and never felt stiff, which left a great impression. Both the cuisine and service were flawless—an Accommodation that genuinely made me think, “I want to stay here again.” Thank you to everyone at Senjoen for such a pleasant time. Some photos are missing because I got so absorbed in eating that I forgot to take them.

The female staff at the breakfast buffet and the Chinese restaurant at lunch were cheerful and attentive, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meals. The large public bath was spacious and excellent.

This trip was to celebrate my mother’s birthday. She requested to see the Onsen she had visited with my late father during their honeymoon, and also the snow monkeys at Jigokudani Monkey Park. We chose this Accommodation because Reviews repeatedly mentioned the private family bath and a homey, relaxing atmosphere. True to the Reviews, it was a wonderfully quiet and peaceful place. The warm glow of washi paper lamps displayed throughout was beautiful, and we could feel the proprietress’s thoughtful care in every detail. And the food—absolutely delicious! Dinner just kept coming (laugh). Every dish was freshly made and served hot. The best of all was the kake soba hand-made by the chef that very morning. I love soba and visit many places, but I’m sorry—this was truly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Breakfast also made us happy with piping-hot dashimaki tamago. The highlight of breakfast was the miso soup—I wanted to take home the whole pot. As we’ve gotten older, we choose our trips carefully based on both meals and Accommodation quality, and this place offered outstanding value for money. More than anything, we made unforgettable memories here. On our way out, I bought one of the lamps that were on display at the Accommodation as a gift for my mother. Thanks to you, it became the best birthday present possible. We’ll come again in winter—and again for her birthday next year too. We stayed on May 2, right in the middle of Golden Week. The traffic and bustle on the way to the Accommodation disappeared the moment we arrived—it felt like another world. We relaxed in the in-room bath to soothe our fatigue, and my wife even took a peaceful nap until dinner. Dinner, which we had been looking forward to, exceeded our expectations and left us completely satisfied. The portions and variety were excellent, and no matter how much there was, it still didn’t feel like enough with the kamado-cooked rice. (Breakfast was also outstanding.) We were able to spend our time without coming into contact with other guests. Finally, from arrival to departure, we were greeted with warm smiles throughout. Both body and mind were refreshed, making it a truly wonderful trip. We would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here as a couple in August. It was very reasonably priced, yet everything was excellent overall. The meal included wagyu beef grilled on a ceramic plate, and even if it was cooked a bit too long, it was still very tender. The other dishes were also delicious. The portions were generous, and we were completely satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. The staff were friendly, and the building was clean. We’d love to use the bath again. If we have the chance, we would definitely stay again, and we would recommend it to others as well.
