This Accommodation has become more upscale in recent years and is now a bit of a splurge for me, so I visited this time to take advantage of a great deal. As always, the Onsen was wonderful, the meals were delicious, and the Room was spacious and very comfortable. I was also happy that you remembered my various requests from previous stays. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality again—I’d love to visit again when I find another opportunity.

This is a relaxing Accommodation. The staff always welcome us warmly. There are also several international staff members, and I’m impressed by how well they speak Japanese. I hope they keep up the great work. The food is delicious, and no matter how many times I have it, I never get tired of it. This time, I tried the Western-style breakfast for the first time, and it was quite good. I will visit again. Thank you very much.

This luxury Japanese-style Ryokan with views of Mt. Fuji offered exceptional service. The view from the Room was stunning, and the windows were polished to a shine, which showed true hospitality. Both the in-room bath and the large public bath were comfortable and deeply relaxing. The meals were also delicious. The attentive service made our children happy as well. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

First, we would like to express our gratitude for the warm hospitality of the Accommodation. Thank you for your thoughtful care in even the smallest details. This was our first trip to Okayama Prefecture, and thanks to all the staff, we were able to enjoy a comfortable Onsen getaway. We now have one more Ryokan we would love to visit again. This trip was mainly to visit Ise Grand Shrine, Toba, and Futamiura. I was especially looking forward to visiting Futami Okitama Shrine and seeing the Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), so I searched for the Accommodation closest to the shrine and chose “Oishiya.” From the very beginning, I was impressed by the exceptionally courteous and pleasant service. From arriving by taxi through check-in, being shown to my Room, dining, and even the Shuttle Service to the station after check-out, everything was handled in such a welcoming way that it made for a truly wonderful trip. To the proprietress, manager, attendants, Shuttle Service driver, and everyone at Oishiya, thank you very much. Dinner was a charcoal-grilled seafood kaiseki course. Starting with appetizers and sashimi, the main dishes featured an abundant selection including abalone, squid, turban shell, other shellfish, and vegetables. Being able to enjoy abalone both grilled and as sashimi made it an especially luxurious meal. The meal was so plentiful that I’m sorry I ended up leaving one dish unfinished. I also appreciate the attendant’s thoughtful consideration regarding dessert. The view of Futami’s sea from the panoramic bath was exceptional—I enjoyed it many times: before dinner, after dinner, and early in the morning. The location of this Accommodation is also perfect for accessing Futami Okitama Shrine. After check-in, after dinner, at sunrise time, and after check-out, I was able to visit a total of four times—it meant so much to me. Every view was wonderful, but the scenery at sunrise was truly unforgettable. Staying at “Oishiya” made this an outstanding trip. If I have another opportunity, I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for a family trip with my parents. At check-in, the staff explained the building while we enjoyed the beautiful garden view, which helped us understand the Accommodation even better. The welcome sweets and tea we were served were also delicious. As I am pregnant, I mentioned that I was avoiding caffeine, raw foods, and alcohol. They kindly switched the coffee prepared in our Room to decaf, provided non-caffeinated sword bean tea, and changed the tea served with meals to black soybean tea. I was truly impressed by their warm hospitality. Dinner was excellent as well. They even accommodated me with a separate menu, and I really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. Every dish was delicious, the portions were just right, and it was a wonderful meal overall. The private Onsen in our Room could be enjoyed 24 hours a day whenever we liked, which was fantastic. My parents seemed very satisfied too. This was our last family trip before our baby arrives, and we are truly glad we chose to stay here. Once things settle down, we would love to return and stay in a different Room as well.

A family trip with two families to celebrate my mother’s 77th birthday and my nephew’s birthday. The surprise cake at dinner made it a wonderful family memory. They also accommodated our food allergies, so we could enjoy the delicious meals with peace of mind. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality.

It had been a while since I last visited my favorite Unpuufu. No matter when I come, the delicious cuisine, comfortable Room, and the staff’s thoughtful, unobtrusive hospitality always make for a truly satisfying one-night, two-day trip. On the way home, my friend and I happily chatted on the train back to Tokyo about when we should visit again! Thank you for a delicious and enjoyable stay!

First of all, the cleanliness of the Hotel’s Rooms and other Facilities was very, very good. I stayed for three nights and treated myself by taking an Obon holiday at this Hotel. It was an Obon holiday filled with gratitude for the food and all the staff. The Onsen was also wonderful, and I felt genuine care in every detail, including the free ice pops after bathing. Thank you for such a wonderful trip with my dog. I will come again, and I look forward to staying with you then as well.

The welcome service offered plum wine, black vinegar, juice, sweets, and ice cream. We arrived early and were able to relax until dinner even after taking a bath. We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and with free-flowing natural hot spring water, we could enjoy the Onsen anytime. The Room was excellent. The food was buffet-style, featuring local vegetables and specialties, along with many delicious dishes made with health in mind. I don’t often get the chance to visit Akita, but this is an Accommodation I would definitely like to return to. Thank you very much.

This time we stayed in a special Room with a private open-air bath. The water temperature was comfortable 24 hours a day, the tub was spacious enough for two people to relax, and the cypress wood rim added a warm touch—I think I soaked in it about ten times. We also had three bath towels each, plus a wide towel rack to hang them, which made everything stress-free. One suggestion: I used the open-air bath around 7 a.m., but the direct sunlight was very strong. It would be nice to have something like bamboo blinds to block the sun. We also used the large public bath, and as with other Kyoritsu Resort properties such as Dormy Inn, it had plenty of washing space and was easy to use. And when it comes to Kyoritsu Resort, there’s the late-night ramen service. Since this is Hakodate, they offer salt ramen in addition to soy sauce ramen. We expected breakfast—known for being popular—to involve waiting in line, but thanks to the special Room privileges they reserved our preferred seating (such as semi-private booths or window seats) at a designated time. That was great. Of course, the meal selection lived up to its reputation. All drinks in the Room were free—including whisky—and there was also a sparkling water maker. Overall it was excellent. The price is high, but given how well-equipped everything is, we felt it was worth it. We’d love to stay again if possible.

A spacious, stylish Room. The lush green trees seen through the large windows were wonderful. The open-air bath had excellent water quality and the temperature was just right—so relaxing. All of the staff were very kind and lovely. We chose the counter kappo dining, and each dish prepared right in front of us and served with plating and explanations was deeply flavorful and delicious. With the Shuttle Service, we also visited Aquaignis, where we fully enjoyed the large public bath, spa treatments, bread, desserts—everything. At the summit of Mt. Gozaisho (reached by ropeway), it was a bit cooler and perfect for a pleasant walk. I’d love to visit again in a different season. If we choose another Room that caught our interest and select different meals, it feels like it would be a completely different trip. Though honestly, the counter kappo was so good that we might choose it again. My mother was also very happy. Thank you very much. The breakfast rice, grilled nori seaweed, and local chicken miso soup were especially delicious.

Iya Bijin is an Accommodation famous for soba. I had carelessly forgotten this, and since my son has a severe buckwheat allergy, we made a last-minute request to remove all foods related to soba. During our stay, they took great care with the meals, and both dinner and breakfast were wonderful—such as ayu sashimi and dekomawashi—and my son ate so much it surprised even us. Of course, he had no allergic symptoms at all. Thank you very much.

I was looking for a Room with an open-air bath and in-room dining. About a 45-minute drive from Kanazawa, with a zoo and the mysterious Hanibe Gankutsu-in nearby, it felt like the perfect place for the first night of our 2-night, 3-day trip, so we decided to stay here. First, when we arrived about 10 minutes past check-in time, everyone was waiting outside in this heat, and since we weren’t used to that kind of welcome, we felt truly apologetic (lol). I was surprised by how vast the grounds were—our Room was spacious, and best of all, it had the semi open-air bath I’d been hoping for! Having a dedicated staff member (?) take care of us throughout our stay also made us feel at ease. This time it happened to be my companion’s birthday month… and when I casually mentioned it, they gave us a birthday gift at dinner. On top of that, the proprietress even put on a surprise (no spoilers), which made it such a fun and memorable experience. We heard the meals change daily, so I think even a Multiple Night Stay would be enjoyable. There are also two large public baths that are more than enough to enjoy even without an in-room bath—we were able to relax and unwind. Above all, we really appreciated the warm hospitality from all the staff. In the end everything worked out well, but since it was their birthday month I requested an additional dinner item in advance; however, on the day we were told that if we ordered that menu they would like to serve dinner not in our Room but in another private dining room instead. Since I had been looking forward to in-room dining as well, I would have appreciated being informed at the time of ordering that this might happen. That said, the room they prepared for us was private—and actually it worked out better for messy people like us because we didn’t have to rush around tidying up before dinner—so we were very satisfied. Next time I’m thinking of visiting during my own birthday month so I can experience the proprietress’s surprise again. Thanks to you all, it turned into a wonderful Kanazawa trip. Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining Room, so we could relax and eat at our own pace. The service timing was perfect, and we were fully satisfied with the quality and generous portions of the meals. We also loved that they featured plenty of locally sourced ingredients. The fireworks were spectacular from the rooftop, and the open-air bath in our Room was excellent.

The Facility in the guest room was excellent, the meals were very delicious, and above all, the service provided by the staff was outstanding, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

The Room was very clean, and we loved the soothing sound of the river and the lush, tree-covered view. Having a private bath was also a great perk. The dining area was a private room as well, so we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in a relaxed setting, though the portions were a bit large for us. After breakfast, we also unexpectedly enjoyed the complimentary coffee service in the lobby. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we were able to unwind and take our time.

We stayed with a same-day Reservation, and everything was excellent. We arrived later than planned and were almost late for our dinner Reservation, but every staff member remained welcoming and provided outstanding service. Thank you very much. Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were great. The dinner and breakfast were especially delicious, and the all-you-can-eat grilled fish at breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely like to stay again on our next visit.

My husband grew up in a ranch in Hokkaido, while I was raised in the city. Drawn to this thatched-roof Accommodation, we stayed here for the first time. From the view at the entrance, we were amazed by the extraordinary, nostalgic buildings and the rice fields spreading out in front of them! We both fell completely in love with it. The Onsen is also wonderful—the free-flowing natural spring water is slightly lukewarm, perfect for a long soak. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. What’s especially impressive about this Accommodation is the many furnishings and antiques placed throughout, delighting the eyes everywhere you look! It feels like visiting an art museum. Truly amazing! My husband can be quite particular, but he absolutely loved it and says he definitely wants to come again in autumn. Getting to the annex using the cart and monorail was also fun and brought back childhood memories. Thank you so much for such a wonderful place.

It was a very relaxing Accommodation. Although the building has a sense of history, it was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained, so we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The staff kindly accommodated many of our requests, and we truly appreciate it. Of course, the service was excellent! The meals were also delicious, including Yonezawa beef filet steak and shabu-shabu. The semi-open-air bath in the Room was supplied with natural hot spring water, and the quality of the water was wonderful. It is an Accommodation that made us want to come back for a Multiple Night Stay.
