The toilets are shared, but they’re extremely clean! There aren’t any particularly special Facilities at the Accommodation, but personally it’s become one of my favorite places to stay—it’s incredibly relaxing.

We stayed here for the second night of our two-night Onsen tour. It’s a quiet Onsen where you can relax. The baths include a high-temperature bath with free-flowing natural spring water, a medium-temperature bath with added water, and a low-temperature bath suitable for long soaks; the high-temperature bath I used to be able to enter before was so hot this time that I could only dip my feet in. The wooden plank flooring in the bathing area is also nice. The meals after bathing—both dinner and breakfast—were well seasoned and served in just the right portions. Several resident cats were around, including newborn kittens that licked my finger without any hesitation—they were adorable.

This time we came to Yugawara to see fireflies. It was truly magical and moving. Although this Accommodation is old, the bathroom and water facilities in the Room have been nicely renovated, and there are four private Onsen baths, so you can relax and enjoy them at your own pace. The meals can be served in your Room and were very delicious. We chose the smaller course, but it was more than enough for us seniors. However, perhaps because the building is old, we were quite bothered by noises such as footsteps at night and woke up several times. Next time, we would like to stay in a Room with a private bath. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

During the autumn foliage season, I hurriedly searched for accommodation with a large public bath. Unexpectedly, I found one that met my requirements and was very pleased. I am satisfied with my stay. I used the large public bath once at night and three times in the morning. Since my second son attends Kyoto University, we visited him from Tokyo during his school festival. As his apartment only has a unit bath, we chose this accommodation so he could enjoy a spacious bath for a change. He was very satisfied with both the bath and breakfast, which made me happy as a parent.

We found this Accommodation while looking for a place where six people across three generations could stay, as we had plans nearby the next day. We requested a change to our Reservation right before our stay, and they handled it quickly and courteously, which was a huge help. First of all, the location—within walking distance of the Bikan Historical Quarter—was excellent. We checked in early and used the Accommodation as a base to enjoy sightseeing. On the day we stayed, the surrounding roads were congested and nearby parking lots seemed to be full, so we especially appreciated how convenient this location was. For dinner and breakfast, we brought back takeout from the Bikan area and groceries from a supermarket and ate at the Accommodation. There were plenty of easy options even with kids—pizza, yakitori, deli foods, croquettes, etc. There were also enough dishes and cooking utensils provided, so cooking was stress-free. The complimentary kuromame (black soybean) coffee was delicious too. The interior is a comfortable traditional house; while spending time on the first floor, we hardly noticed any outside noise. Mosquito-repellent items were also provided, which showed thoughtful attention to detail. The lighting was slightly dim for our taste, so we moved one of the upstairs lights downstairs to use it there. The bathroom has been renovated and is as easy to use as a typical apartment bath unit. With two toilets and two faucets at the sink area, even our large group could stay comfortably without inconvenience. The only thing that stood out was that when sleeping upstairs, we could hear cars passing on the road in front more than expected. Because of that I wouldn’t say we slept soundly through the night. Earplugs were provided—I assume this is why—and it might have been quieter if we had slept downstairs. In addition to that: an umbrella stand with spare umbrellas for rainy days; air conditioning already running when we arrived; plastic wrap; coffee with a grinder—everything you’d be happy to have was thoughtfully prepared. It was an Accommodation where you can truly feel attentive hospitality throughout your stay.

This was my first time staying here. From the very courteous email communication, I had a great impression right away. Check-in was easy, and it’s done at the shop on-site! They even offer a complimentary “shime parfait” at night! I went after dinner. There wasn’t a frying pan in the kitchen, so I went to the front desk (?) to ask, and they kindly lent me one. The hinoki scent in the bath was absolutely wonderful. The size was just right—and even though it was only one night, I used it four times. The location is a bit hard to find, but that’s part of the charm of this traditional house, and the interior is clean as well! I’ll definitely be coming back someday!

Set in a lush natural setting, this spacious private Accommodation offers a quiet, relaxing stay. Escape the bustle of everyday life, soak in the Onsen available all night, and enjoy delicious meals for a truly refreshing getaway. With well-stocked amenities and meal options for children, families are welcome too. Guests of any age—whether traveling solo or in any group—can enjoy a wonderful time here.

The front desk staff were very kind and provided excellent service. However, one issue was that the beer vending machine in the building only accepted old 1,000-yen bills, so I couldn’t buy any. Other than that, it was a very good Accommodation. My wife and I also said we would like to stay again.

With check-in at 2:00 PM, this Hotel is recommended if you arrive in Kusatsu early and want to sightsee around Yubatake first. However, it’s hard to tell from the map, but walking from the Hotel to the downtown area where Yubatake is located requires going up and down a very steep hill. It’s about a 10-minute walk one way, but the uphill stretch is quite tough. The in-house Facility, public bath, and Room had been renovated and were clean and comfortable, but I was unlucky with my Room—the sound of rain hitting the Facility roof outside the window was loud and made it hard to sleep—so I rated the guest room two stars lower and overall satisfaction one point lower.

This time, we stayed in two Rooms, Momiji and Yuzu. We were very satisfied with everything, including the service. However, it was disappointing that the bath in Yuzu was far from the Room and inconvenient to use. Thank you for your prompt help with our forgotten item.

Conveniently located near the station and supermarkets, making it ideal for visiting public baths and shopping. The bath is a private family bath, so we were able to relax and enjoy it at our own pace. What we especially liked was the welcome drinks—unlimited refills, including alcoholic beverages—and snacks were also provided. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The rooms are well-cleaned and the accommodation has a very clean and fresh atmosphere. During our stay over New Year's, the air was dry due to the season, which caused a slight throat irritation. There was an air purifier, but it was disappointing that there was no humidifier. The meals were satisfying in terms of quality, quantity, and flavor. Although the portion of rice in the kamameshi was small, additional plain rice is available if needed, so it wasn't an issue. The staff provided simple yet heartwarming hospitality. As for the onsen, outdoor baths during winter might feel a bit cold; we recommend warming up thoroughly in the indoor bath first before heading outside. There are many reviews mentioning "weak shower water pressure," but as I used it when no one else was around, it wasn’t much of a problem for me. However, water pressure might decrease during peak usage times. Personally, I dislike the bustling atmosphere of large hotels; if you prefer a quiet and relaxing stay, this place is worth trying at least once!

When I opened the curtains, the ocean was right there! The ever-changing views of the sea and sky from afternoon into night were amazing. I’d love to stay again.

We made a Reservation for a barbecue lunch. It was disappointing that the price differed by 210 yen from what we were told over the phone, but everything else was fine. The bath was a bit smaller than expected, but the amenities were from MUJI, which was nice. All the staff were kind and even brought bedding for our child who fell asleep during the meal. The Room was spacious, and we were very satisfied.

We never got to take a honeymoon, so after retiring from work we finally enjoyed a relaxing trip together as a couple. This Hotel is conveniently located near Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenrokuen Garden, and Omicho Market. The Room was clean, the food was delicious, and it became a wonderful memory for us as a couple. The Hotel staff were also kind and helpful. Breakfast was buffet-style, and I couldn’t help going back for seconds. If we have the chance, we would definitely like to stay again.

All the staff were very friendly. The Onsen was also satisfying. The Italian full-course dinner looked beautiful and was very delicious. The portions were just right, and there was a wide selection of alcoholic drinks. We were able to relax and it became a special trip. I would like to visit again.

After climbing Mt. Yake, I walked to Myojin. All the Accommodation staff were very kind, and I was able to rest and recover well. If I had one request, I would like the bathing hours to be extended. Since hiking requires energy, I would appreciate more protein options at breakfast, such as grilled fish and natto.

The Accommodation is well equipped with the Facilities and amenities you need for a stay with your dog. The meals were generous, and we left feeling full. There is also a dog run, which I think our dog really enjoyed.

Every year, I take a solo trip on my birthday, and this year I visited the Oki Islands for the first time. I made a last-minute Reservation while watching the weather forecast, but I was able to enjoy the Rosoku Island cruise in perfect weather. The Hotel may feel a bit dated, but it was spotless and well maintained, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious no matter what I tried. The large rock oysters paired perfectly with sake, making it an incredibly luxurious trip.

Perhaps because it was before the Obon holidays, it wasn’t crowded, and we were able to enjoy the Onsen almost as if it were private, which made for a very relaxing stay. Although the water was clear and colorless, black mineral deposits formed in it, and it warmed us up wonderfully. The Room was well cleaned, the meals were delicious, and we were very satisfied overall. It was a bit disappointing that there is a step between the lobby and the elevator to the guest rooms. This is an Accommodation I would like to stay at again when visiting Fukushima.
