As mentioned in the reviews, the staff at the accommodation were very considerate, and the accommodation itself, with its 100-year history, provided a relaxing and leisurely experience. Meals were served in the room with a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed them. However, the "Sennin Bath" being mixed-gender made it uncomfortable for women to enter. As noted in reviews, there seemed to be men lingering near the entrance, which was disappointing. On the other hand, we appreciated being able to reserve a private bath that was spacious and enjoyable.

During a weekend of heavy rain brought by the autumnal rain front, I was finally able to stay at a long-established Accommodation in Unazuki Onsen. I could feel the president’s and proprietress’s heartfelt hospitality in every detail. Soaking in the open-air bath while watching the swift flow of the Kurobe River, enjoying dishes that highlighted seasonal ingredients and beautiful tableware, and experiencing excellent service—all were wonderful. At the Selene Museum of Art, I was able to view magnificent paintings of Kurobe Gorge while overlaying them with the scenery from the trolley train window. It truly healed my body and mind from within, so I would love to return to experience again this Onsen culture that blends wellness and tea ceremony.

Among the dinner and breakfast buffets, the salad vegetables, Jersey milk, and desserts such as milk pudding were especially delicious. I was disappointed that I couldn’t try everything. In the lobby, a wood-burning stove was lit even in summer, and the crackling sound was very soothing. Although I didn’t try it myself, families with children were roasting marshmallows on skewers over the stove. It was a relaxing one-night, two-day stay for both body and mind.

I have wonderful memories of the Accommodation’s atmosphere and hospitality from my first stay, and this time I returned for the first time in seven years. I heard that during the COVID period you improved the parking area and the path to the Accommodation, and it was even easier to access than before. The atmosphere is still just as lovely, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I especially recommend the spiny lobster sashimi and the simmered golden eye snapper. This time, I also asked in advance for a birthday surprise for my friend, and you kindly accommodated my request. My friend was truly delighted, and I’m so glad I asked. Thank you very much for your pleasant hospitality and service. Above all, one of Hana Noren’s greatest charms is Toi Onsen, which helped melt away my everyday fatigue. At night I enjoyed the bath in my Room, and in the morning I woke up early to use the private bath. I truly love this time spent forgetting daily noise—the sound of flowing Onsen water and birdsong brought exceptional comfort. Thank you again for another wonderful stay. I was completely satisfied with everything. Next time, I hope to return again sooner. Thank you very much!

I had wanted to visit ever since I saw it on a travel TV show. The open-air bath attached to the Room was very spacious, and the Onsen water felt gentle and wonderful. The ayu (sweetfish) I tried for the first time this year was also very fresh, and the dishes made with local vegetables as well as the sake lees and fruit pudding were delicious. The staff member in charge of our Room was pleasant, and while we were having breakfast, they put away the futons and tidied everything up nicely, so we could relax with a cup of coffee. My husband and I are also talking about coming again in winter.

No matter when you stay, the thorough cleaning makes it a comfortable place to spend time. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you won’t have any trouble, and BBQ tools are also provided. When we met the staff at the gate at checkout, they kindly saw us off, and we felt great until the very end—we’d love to stay again!

We had been looking forward to our stay even before arriving. We stayed in a Room with a slide, and the kids were thrilled (an early elementary schooler and a 3-year-old). The Facility offerings were also excellent, so we had no trouble at all even with children (including a space where kids can play). They also organized a festival event inside the Hotel during our visit, and we joined that as well. All the staff were kind, and we felt their hospitality everywhere. The view from the rooftop terrace was wonderful (morning is recommended). During dinner, there was live music, and they included songs that children would enjoy, so it never got boring. Highly recommended for families with children. Of course, I think it would be a very satisfying stay for adults only as well. We will definitely return. Thank you very much for everything.

Unfortunately, we had a thunderstorm on the day of our stay, but we truly appreciated your nighttime safety check and your thoughtful gesture the next day. We were able to fully enjoy the pool and sauna. We were very satisfied! The Room was very clean, and our family enjoyed watching a movie on the projector. We want to come every year! This was my first stay here. The building feels a bit old, but both the Room and the bath were thoroughly cleaned, making for a very comfortable stay. The meals were excellent; the abalone grilled live at dinner was tender, and choosing the octopus shabu-shabu add-on was definitely the right choice. Everything was delicious. The staff served the dishes well, so we could enjoy our meal smoothly. Breakfast also offered a wide variety of items, all of them tasty. There was even shark fin soup, and I especially recommend the freshly baked croissants. Since the Room faces the ocean, the view is breathtaking. The bath is also built facing the sea, so it was incredibly relaxing. It was a shame that it was cloudy and we couldn’t see the sunrise, so I would love to stay again.

The view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge from the Room was breathtaking. The food was delicious, and we were able to relax in the luxurious large public bath. I wanted to have tea at the cafe, but unfortunately it was full, so I took a cake to go and enjoyed it in my Room. It was very tasty. There were various sightseeing spots nearby, and we enjoyed a pleasant walk around the area. We learned that a ferry departing Osaka around 9:00 p.m. passes right under the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, so we watched it from our Room. Recently, we traveled all the way to Moji on that ferry. When passing through the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, we could see the lights of Maiko Villa and it made us feel happy. We would love to visit again.

We stayed for two nights in late August on a family trip. On the first night, I became unwell (likely heat exhaustion due to Kyoto’s climate and lack of sleep), and you kindly adjusted how dinner was served. You also prepared an ice pack and cold water, and all the staff offered warm words afterward as well—I truly caused you a lot of trouble. The next day we returned to the Accommodation early after sightseeing, but housekeeping was completed quickly and the Room was restored to a comfortable state. Our child had brought a favorite stuffed toy, and seeing it seated on the sofa warmed our hearts. I was also impressed that all staff had shared information such as my avoiding caffeine and our child’s preferences, and handled everything so naturally with thoughtful care. The timing of your check-ins and sense of distance were just right, and we experienced truly wonderful hospitality. We used the Room as a family of three (our child is in 6th grade), and it felt neither too large nor too small. Having a bath in the Room was especially nice because we could use it whenever we wanted. The water temperature was set to 41°C, which feels hot in summer, but we could adjust it by adding water. The changing area had floor heating, which helped prevent us from getting too chilled after bathing. Towels and water were replenished as well, so even if we sweated after bathing, it was great to be able to use clean towels and clothes. Also, there was a lovely fragrance the moment we entered the Room, with incense throughout the building—these scent touches made everything feel special and out of the ordinary. Every meal was truly delicious. Our child has many dislikes when it comes to seafood, but you accommodated this thoughtfully; plus, both days’ menus were different so we could enjoy variety. In particular, the charcoal-grilled style dishes along with Anto-jiru soup, takikomi gohan (seasoned rice), and Wakan 18 tea were excellent—our child loved them too. Breakfast also came with many rice accompaniments that were all delicious. The soups and dashi-based dishes especially felt very “Kyoto,” which we appreciated. Finally, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took care of us during our stay. We made wonderful memories in Kyoto thanks to you. This is an Accommodation we would love to visit again as a family.

Both the entrance and our Room were spotless, the meals (and sweets) were delicious, the Onsen was wonderfully relaxing, and all of the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—we were truly moved. The dining area also had plenty of space between each group, so our child was able to focus on eating quietly. In addition, you provided activities inside the Hotel such as a puzzle-solving game (the adults got seriously into it too!) and a cardboard maze… When we checked our answers for the puzzle, the front desk staff assisted us very kindly, and our child was absolutely delighted. I don’t usually post a Review, but I was so impressed that I wanted to write one this time. We travel to Matsumoto every summer, so we hope to stay with you again next year. Thank you very much.

As I prefer gluten-free options, I usually stay at Japanese-style Ryokan with mainly Japanese cuisine. This Hotel also offered gluten-free meals, and the Room was clean and functional. The staff provided excellent service as well. The view from the Room was outstanding. I’ve already made my next Reservation.

Upon arriving at Omoide Roman-kan by car, staff were already there and guided us to the parking area. Their service was polite and pleasant, leaving a great first impression. In the lobby, you can enjoy as many drinks as you like. There were draft beer, sparkling wine, and sake as well. It’s available not only at check-in but also after the baths, and they also had ice pops. No matter what you have, there are no extra charges. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes, all of them delicious. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy local specialties. Here too, no matter how much alcohol you drink, there is no additional fee. The Room was a twin Room, very spacious and spotless. The sofa and cushions were perfect for relaxing comfortably. The baths were excellent as well—the tea open-air bath felt amazing. It’s also great that there is a separate riverside open-air bath. Large public bath before dinner, riverside open-air bath after dinner… I even went in both before and after breakfast. The massage chairs were free to use too. This was my first time staying at an all-inclusive Accommodation, and it was truly exceptional—everything was taken care of for us. I would love to stay again.

About 20 years ago, we visited with our family on a day trip and used the jungle-themed bath. Now that our children are fully independent, this time it was just the two of us as a couple. The atmosphere of the baths has completely changed, but it still felt somehow nostalgic. In our Room, the thicker curtain did not slide properly, and there was a part we could not close before going to bed. It was also a little disappointing that the toilet and washbasin area felt quite old. Even so, everything—including seeing us off at departure—was excellent, and we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on a solo trip and had a wonderful experience. The Facility and amenities were even more well-equipped than I expected, and I was able to relax as if I were at home. The staff were also very courteous. It was raining heavily, but they lent me an umbrella and their thoughtful care felt truly warm. At the same time, they maintained a comfortable sense of distance—not too close—which made the stay even more pleasant and made me want to come back. On the night of my stay, there was a local kagura performance, and I really enjoyed experiencing the myths. I felt very lucky that it happened to be on that day. This time I booked No Meals Included, so next time I’d love to try the meals as well. With high expectations for the food too, it’s an all 5-star rating from me.

This was our first stay as a family of four. Since we were all exhausted from the extreme heat, we truly appreciated being able to enjoy a welcome drink in the air-conditioned lounge after check-in. We stayed in a wonderful Room on the top floor with ocean views and a view of Mt. Fuji, and our whole family was impressed. The Hotel was very clean, and everything—from the attentive service and luxurious meals to the spacious, relaxing baths, the open-air bath with a view of Mt. Fuji, and the cold tea and ice cream after bathing—was excellent, making it an exceptionally comfortable stay. We also joined the summer bingo event and had fun enjoying the festive atmosphere. After check-in, you also took our family commemorative photo promptly at the entrance—thank you very much. We would love to stay again as a family!

We chose a recently renovated Room, and it was very clean with a wonderful view—excellent overall. It was a three-generation stay, and having two sinks in the Room made it very convenient. One small issue was that the in-room meal took quite a long time—about two hours. Our child got a bit fussy, so we hoped it could be served in a shorter time. Overall, it was a very good Accommodation and ideal for our first trip with a baby.

I was surprised to find someone waiting to welcome us at the entrance when we arrived by car. We were greeted by the scent of lilies, and while waiting our turn for check-in, my husband quickly started enjoying a beer. Our Room was on the 3rd floor and felt more spacious than expected. The tatami flooring made it very comfortable. The view from the window was wonderful, and we kept it open for a while just to enjoy it. The amenities were well stocked, and we didn’t feel any inconvenience. One thing I noticed was that there was quite a large step up into the in-room toilet, which made me a little worried about tripping if I got up during the night. What stood out most was the wide variety of dishes at dinner. The boat platter we reserved was extremely fresh, and the sushi prepared right in front of us was delicious as well. I love grilled seafood, and I went back for it twice. The steak was also excellent. We couldn’t possibly try everything—of course there wasn’t any room left for late-night ramen, so I’d like to have that next time (laugh). We made our Reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and they surprised us by bringing dessert and taking photos for us—it became a truly happy memory. Breakfast was also buffet-style. In the morning, I made my own seafood rice bowl and enjoyed it very much. The freshly cooked French toast was delicious too. There were so many dishes that we couldn’t finish them all—it was a one-night stay filled with food that delighted both our eyes and taste buds. Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff who always greeted us with smiles—we had a very pleasant stay at your Accommodation. We will visit again.
