The welcome sweets reflected thoughtful hospitality and were a delight. The breakfast venue offers a spectacular view overlooking the Imperial Palace. Although there were many international staff members, both they and the Japanese staff were cheerful and kind throughout our stay.

After enjoying a concert in Yatsugatake and staying one night, we headed to Unazuki Onsen Entaiji-so via Hakuba and Itoigawa. Near Minami-Otari Station there was an accident causing heavy traffic, and we were told it would take at least three hours to clear. We had to choose between waiting or taking a detour, and in the end we went back to Hakuba and took the route to Itoigawa to reach the Accommodation. After a long detour, we arrived safely. The warm welcome from the staff and their thoughtful upgrade of our Room instantly lifted our tired spirits. The Onsen was excellent, and we were able to relax in the open-air bath as if it were private. Every dish was delicious, and we truly enjoyed the meal. Thanks to them, even our travel mishap became a good memory.

The staff’s hospitality was excellent. I booked a breakfast-included Plan, and the meal was beautifully presented, with delicious rice. At the on-site pastry shop, their desire for guests to truly enjoy the sweets really came through. I tried the silky pudding with vanilla beans and it was outstanding. It seems you can also buy pastries for takeout, so I’d like to stop by again when I visit Utsunomiya. Since weddings are held here as well, the lobby and other areas felt calm and pleasant. There is plenty of parking, so arriving by car was no concern at all.

It was my first time staying here again in a while. As always, both the Hotel and the Room were kept very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. The staff member who came for turndown service was cheerful and friendly, and handled everything efficiently, which made me happy. Everyone in the lounge and restaurant was also very courteous, so even though it had been some time since my last visit, I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to stay again.

Even arriving in the evening, just having tea while looking out the window made me feel refreshed and away from my usual routine. The meals were beautifully presented, so I couldn’t help taking photos before enjoying them. The Room lighting was a bit subdued, so it felt slightly dim only when getting ready, but otherwise I stayed very comfortably.

I arrived feeling a bit uneasy because it was relatively inexpensive and a smoking Room. I checked in around 9:00 pm and was greeted with a smile. They clearly explained the bath, changing clothes, and breakfast. The entrance area felt spacious and luxurious. Other than a toothbrush and towels, you pick up whatever amenities you need at the amenity bar near the front desk, and you also borrow loungewear from shelves nearby. It looked like you could choose between yukata and jinbei. If you have a lot of luggage, this might be a bit of a hassle. It seemed they offered late-night soba from 9:00 to 9:30 pm, but I wasn’t very hungry so I didn’t use it. The elevator area and hallways are on the darker side, but it gives a calm atmosphere. Some Reviews mentioned odors, but I didn’t notice anything in particular. When I got to the Room, it was cleaner than I expected, and there was no noticeable smell. It felt like: two beds in a large Japanese-style room, futons in a smaller Japanese-style room, and one bed in a smaller Western-style room. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool. Internet is available via both Wi‑Fi and wired LAN. Wi‑Fi tends to slow down when it’s crowded, but if you connect your own small wireless router to the wired LAN, it’s comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and both were kept clean. The toilet has an electronic bidet seat. Breakfast is buffet-style: Western options like bread rolls with sausages, nuggets, and egg dishes, and classic Japanese items like white rice with grilled fish, natto, and miso soup. You can drink Saza Coffee at the complimentary drink bar (no extra charge), and even take it back to your Room. Very nice! It’s close to Hitachi Seaside Park, so demand is high depending on the season, but if possible I’d like to stay here again next year.

This was my first stay, and I really enjoyed the beautiful views, the clean Room, and the delicious buffet. The paella was especially tasty. Since it was a weekday, the lounge wasn’t crowded, and I was able to enjoy plenty of alcoholic drinks. It was a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again.

The property has a wonderful atmosphere, and stepping into the entrance, I was impressed by the classic, calming interior. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean, and I slept soundly in the comfortable bed. Our trip for three women became a truly wonderful time. Thank you to all the front desk staff for your warm smiles!

I made a Reservation right as Golden Week began. All the staff were kind, and it truly felt like a Japanese Hotel. A very pleasant Hotel!!

We stayed again this year, following our visit last year. While many nearby Ryokan have closed, this property has been renovated and reborn with excellent Facility—I felt it is the best in Yuhama. In particular, the Onsen was pure free-flowing hot spring water from the source, with no added water or heating, and it was wonderfully comfortable—I kept sweating for a while even after bathing. Since our Room had a splendid private free-flowing Onsen bath, we enjoyed it many times. Unfortunately, there was light rain and the sea was rough with whitecaps, so swimming was prohibited. However, we are not really at an age to play in the ocean anymore, so we enjoyed walking around the Hotel area instead. There were about ten cats nearby; they were friendly and fun to be around. They had ear marks indicating they had been spayed/neutered, so it seemed the town manages them well. It left us with a good impression of a town that cares for animals. Meals were different from last year: they served them efficiently with fewer staff in a spacious Room renovated from an annex building. The quality felt slightly below last year’s level, though that may simply be personal preference. It also made us feel how challenging operations can be after COVID. We were happy to have a chance to speak in the morning with refined people who seemed to be the proprietress and her son. We would like to visit KAMEYA again next year as well—a place proud of its 200-year history. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We stayed here to celebrate an 80th birthday. We booked four Club Floor Rooms and stayed with seven family members. The Hotel kindly prepared surprise gifts for the celebration—sparkling wine, honey hand cream, and an adorable bear-shaped towel—and we are very grateful. With the Club Lounge hopping, we were able to enjoy both tea time and cocktail time at both Takanawa Prince Hotel and Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa, which was very satisfying. We also fully enjoyed complimentary access to the Sakura Tower spa and Diamond Pool. We would like to stay again.

I stayed for one night with my parents (three of us total) with both dinner and breakfast included. The Accommodation had a calm atmosphere centered around hinoki cypress, and I felt truly relaxed while enjoying the scent and warmth of the wood. The French dinner was carefully prepared dish by dish, and I was completely satisfied with both the presentation and the taste. Breakfast was also delicious, made with local ingredients, so I thoroughly enjoyed the meals throughout my stay. I also used the on-site public bath; since it was a weekday it wasn’t crowded, which allowed me to soak at a leisurely pace. Most memorable of all was the staff’s hospitality. Everyone greeted us with a smile and kindness, and their thoughtful attention to detail made me very happy. I felt comfortable from start to finish, and it was such a wonderful place that it naturally made me want to come back. My family loved it as well, and it became a great memory for us all.

I was looking for an Accommodation to stay with my one-year-old, but every Hotel’s Japanese-style Room was fully booked, so I gave up and made a Reservation for a Western-style Room at another Hotel. I kept searching on IKYU until the last minute, found this flooring Room, and decided to stay here. The Hotel had the feel of a long-established Western-style Hotel, but the Room had been renovated, so it didn’t feel old. What surprised me most was how thoroughly everything was cleaned—even the corners of the Room were spotless. Even when my baby crawled around, there was no dust at all. We felt completely at ease. Thank you very much. Having a microwave and kitchen space was also very helpful. The bathroom had a washing area and was easy to use. Everyone—both at the front desk and on the cleaning staff—was very pleasant. Thanks to your thoughtful care in many ways, we were able to enjoy our stay with peace of mind. I’m glad we chose to stay here. When we stay in Nagano City again, we would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful Accommodation. We were very satisfied with both the bath and the meals, and the staff were very kind. We had a relaxing stay. The Room was spacious, and we were able to unwind comfortably.

The Room and service were excellent, and the teppan kaiseki at Natori River was truly outstanding. Although it is limited to two parties per day, we were the only guests that day, so it felt like a private stay and we were able to enjoy both dinner and breakfast at a relaxed pace. We stay at Accommodations of a similar class several times a year, and this was one of the best value Accommodations we’ve experienced in quite some time.

It was a No Meals Included Plan. I checked in after 8:00 PM and left the Hotel by 7:30 AM. Since it was a no-meals Plan and I didn’t need to do any shopping, there wasn’t much that stood out… but the service from the two male front desk staff members was outstanding. They were polite yet approachable, and they spoke at a pace that matched the guest—truly wonderful hospitality. The Hotel wasn’t new, but I had a very comfortable stay.

It was a great Hotel with luxury and excellent service. The spa and pool in the Hotel were very good.

Highly recommended accommodation for watching basketball games at the Fukushima Firebonds' home venue. Enjoy a relaxing stay in a calm atmosphere, just within walking distance to the venue (about 15 minutes). Taxis can be arranged promptly by requesting at the front desk. The breakfast area is spacious and provides a very peaceful experience. Breakfast is Japanese-style, with unlimited refills of rice and miso soup. All staff are friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a connecting room for four people and had an excellent time—definitely want to visit again!

This is my favorite Accommodation, where you can enjoy a large bath and delicious meals at a reasonable price (I especially love Matsunoi’s Chinese cuisine). This time, I made a Reservation because my elderly father wanted to visit with his siblings, and he came home completely satisfied. Even after the renovation, I hope Matsunoi will keep what makes it special and that we can still enjoy the same delicious shrimp in chili sauce.

I made a reservation two days before my stay. Staying from Friday to Saturday, even with no meals included, I was satisfied with the price being under 7,000 yen. The antique-style furniture gave a sense of history and elegance, making it a lovely room. Although it was cold and snowing lightly, I strolled through the Japanese garden and found it to be a charming place. Choosing drinks (packs) and amenities was enjoyable and added to the experience. Recently, I've been staying at business hotels often, so staying here was a refreshing change of pace. The front desk staff were very pleasant—thank you!
