The meals are such high quality you’d never guess they’re buffet-style. The menu changes with the seasons, so it never gets boring, and everything is consistently delicious every time we visit! The Rooms may seem similar at first, but the layouts and interiors vary, which makes it fun and interesting. The Surprise Plan is the best—guaranteed to become an unforgettable memory! It’s wonderful to receive, and just as fun to plan for someone else. A space where everyone is sure to feel happy! We’re truly grateful to all the staff who create this extraordinary and wonderful atmosphere.

Thank you for such a wonderfully relaxing time. The ocean view from the Room was amazing. The sunset show as the sun sank into the horizon was truly breathtaking!! At night we enjoyed stargazing, and in the morning we woke to the songs of wild birds... it was a blissful one-night stay. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying in both portion size and taste. The Tango Koshihikari rice was delicious!! All of the Accommodation staff were incredibly friendly, and we were able to spend our time feeling very relaxed. I was even mistaken for a repeat guest by the staff member who guided us to our Room on arrival (lol). From check-in to check-out, everything felt so easygoing. I’d love to visit again in a different season—maybe even for a Multiple Night Stay. Oh, next time I’ll make sure to remember everyone’s names from their name tags. The room lighting can be comfortably adjusted with spotlights, which was great. There are plenty of power outlets, and the long, narrow desk is also convenient. The lounge drinks and breakfast are very well stocked, and access to the streetcar is excellent. There are also many appealing shops nearby, which was a plus.

We visited this Accommodation for the first time in March after it received the strongest “Absolutely!” recommendation among several options, and it was the first time in a while that we felt completely satisfied in every respect. From the courteous and accurate communication during the Reservation process, to the atmosphere, use of space, staff professionalism, and cuisine—everything met our expectations. With an Accommodation of this caliber, I wasn’t particularly worried about the food, and I had already seen photos of the interior on the website so I assumed there would be no surprises. In the end, however, what matters most is “people.” With group stays, requests often cause inconvenience and there are usually one or two small oversights on the day—but here everything was perfect. This time we came as individuals. We returned both to confirm our impressions and to be moved all over again. The entrance—still fresh in my memory as a favorite—is spacious and quiet. It harmoniously blends cutting-edge design with traditional charm despite being complete opposites. Personally, it may be my favorite part. Our Room this time was more compact than last time but more than sufficient for one night. The open-air bath is also spacious and easy to use even though it has privacy screening. The private dining room felt almost too large for just two people. The timing of each course and the staff’s warm smiles made for a truly comfortable—and delicious—meal. Overall, what stayed with me is how rare this Facility is: an excellent balance of new and old, genuine warmth from people, and employees who approach their work with sincerity—all coming together in perfect harmony. Newer Accommodations with a full resort feel are wonderful in their own way as well; however, as an Onsen Accommodation, this is a place I can confidently recommend as a distinctly Japanese stay where timeless tradition is beautifully integrated. Thank you once again for taking such great care of us. We are truly grateful for a relaxing stay that healed both body and mind. Thank you very much.

Everything was excellent. The Room was clean and comfortable, the amenities were well stocked, and we really enjoyed the complimentary ochazuke. Both the housekeeping staff and the front desk staff kindly helped us right away whenever we needed assistance. Our first trip to Tochigi became a wonderful memory. We would love to stay here again when we visit Utsunomiya next time.

Dormy Inn is well-known, but since it’s a Business Hotel and very reasonably priced, I expected it to be just okay. It was wonderful. The Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and I slept soundly. It was hot outside, but the Hotel was cooled down with strong air conditioning. There were welcome drinks and ice pops, plus water and even snacks in the Room. The Onsen was the real deal—silky smooth and luxuriously thick. And breakfast had eel hitsumabushi!? The taste was just as good as at a specialty eel restaurant! I underestimated Dormy Inn. I’m a fan again.

This was my first stay here. The Facility was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. Everything I had always wished for when staying elsewhere was provided, and I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

The Room and baths were spacious, and the amenities were well stocked, making our stay very comfortable. We were able to relax at our leisure with the private open-air bath and the indoor Sakakibara Onsen. Since there was no Wi-Fi in the Room, I rated the Facility 4 stars, but it turned out to be a good opportunity to put our phones away and unwind together as a family. Dinner was plentiful—featuring a boat platter of sea bream, spiny lobster, abalone, and amberjack, as well as wagyu beef grilled on a ceramic plate—and everything was delicious. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this Accommodation!

We stayed as a family, and it was comfortable from start to finish! The building feels a bit traditional, but the inside is bright, and we could sense thoughtful attention to detail everywhere, which made it very relaxing. All the staff were pleasant, and the cleaning throughout the property was thorough. We wanted to play at the beach and also watch the sunset, so we worried about meal times—but it turned out to be unnecessary. While we were out, they prepared our in-room dinner, and for sashimi—where freshness is everything—they served it after we returned. When an announcement about the sunset played over the PA system during dinner, a staff member came by to turn off the grill so we could take our time watching from the rooftop bench. (You can also see it from your Room, but the view is better from the rooftop. To get there, you need to go up one flight of stairs.) At dinner we also enjoyed dancing grilled live abalone. (One didn’t move even after lighting it; when we mentioned it, they replaced it immediately, so we could eat with peace of mind.) I thought just the standard course might not be enough, but it was plenty. The bath was great because we had it all to ourselves. We also appreciated the lounge coffee and post-bath ice cream. Breakfast was filling and delicious as well. Overall, this Accommodation exceeded our expectations. There were many stylish places nearby and we debated where to stay, but I’m glad we chose Kaishu.

I stayed for one night with breakfast included. The triple Room on the 4th floor of the East Wing was spacious and spotless, and we could even see cruise ships in the harbor through the large window. One of the three beds was a double bed, so I slept comfortably—it was perfect. For breakfast, I chose the charcoal-grill restaurant on the 2nd floor because I wanted to take my time; the portion size was just right, and having freshly cooked rice with salmon roe felt uniquely Hokkaido. There were also plenty of carefully prepared desserts to choose from, and the staff were kind and attentive, so I was very satisfied. When I emailed to request a Hotel brochure and a sightseeing map, they sent them to me, which I really appreciated. The lobby’s complimentary drinks offered a good variety as well, and they tasted great when I came back from the hot weather outside. If I have another chance to travel to Hakodate, this is definitely a Hotel I’d like to stay at again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I’ve stayed at other Dormy Inn Hotels several times on business trips, and everything—cleanliness, the Onsen, and the meals—has always been excellent. This time we visited for a family trip, and my wife and child were thrilled. It made our trip truly enjoyable, and we’d love to stay again!

While looking for an Accommodation on the Boso Peninsula in Chiba to treat my mother once in a while, I found this place with excellent Reviews and great food, so the two of us stayed here. The Deluxe Twin Room with a garden view even offered a distant view of the coastline, which was truly impressive. I also appreciated the note showing the sunrise time. Dinner was a delicious course meal and very satisfying—I could really feel the chef’s skill. The staff were also extremely polite and left a great impression. Personally, the best part was the quality of the Onsen water. My skin felt smooth after bathing. The slightly salty water kept me warm for a long time, which felt wonderful. The ReFa hair dryer was another big plus. Breakfast was buffet-style with plenty of variety, and the yogurt was especially delicious. In the end, a staff member kindly took our photo at the entrance, making it a memorable mother-and-daughter trip. Thank you for your warm hospitality. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a couple. We chose a Plan with a slightly smaller dinner portion, and it was just the right amount for us and very delicious. The owls were also adorable. The Facility is a bit old, but the meals are excellent and great value for money, so we’d like to visit again. The shop is also well stocked.

The front desk service was courteous, and I appreciated that they promptly called a taxi for the next day. The Room was clean and comfortable. In addition, there is a convenience store attached to the Hotel, which is handy even when it’s windy and rainy. I would like to stay here again.

This was my first time visiting Amanohashidate, and thanks to all the staff, I had a truly wonderful stay. The Room—including the semi-open-air bath, comfortable changing area, spacious Japanese-style room, living area, and bedroom—was spotless and could not have been better. Everyone on the staff was kind and approachable. The meals were also excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining room with an ocean view, where we could relax and enjoy the sunset and evening atmosphere, as well as the sunrise in the morning. Every dish was carefully prepared, with gentle seasoning that we really appreciated. If there is one point for improvement, it would be that the bath water temperature felt a bit lukewarm. For the open-air bath in the Room, it would have been nice to be able to adjust the temperature. If I simply missed an operation panel, I apologize. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. The view from the Room was enjoyable, with a clear look out over various roads. The temperature in the large public bath was not too hot—just right for me, comfortable enough to stay in for a long time. The lounge was cozy, and I used it before and after check-in, after bathing, and even after check-out. I also thought it was fun that there were games like Othello available. There were many young staff members, and everyone was kind with wonderful smiles. Thank you very much.

The staff were courteous and guided us smoothly upon entering the lobby. The Room was a comfortable size, and it was kept very clean. The location is just off Kumamoto’s shopping arcade, so it’s easy to explore the area even at night. It’s also within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle and tram stops, making it very convenient for sightseeing. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including several local Kumamoto specialties. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights), and we appreciated that the menu changed. One point to note is parking. The affiliated parking lot is a bit far from the Hotel and comes with an additional fee. If the parking lot across the street could be used instead, it would be more convenient for guests traveling by car. Overall, this is a Hotel you can choose with confidence for sightseeing or business in Kumamoto.

Great location right by the station with easy access. The Room was clean even for a Business Hotel, and the in-room amenities were good. After check-in, it was fun to choose the amenities and bath salts you needed. The restaurant was also clean and the food was delicious. Everyone at the Hotel was very kind.

I found this place because I wanted to stay at an Onsen with my dogs. It turned out to be an absolutely wonderful trip. We were very satisfied. The Facility was impeccably well equipped, and the private pool and sauna made it even better. Hakone-Yumoto Station is within walking distance, so we could take a stroll to shop for souvenirs. If I have the chance, I would love to stay again.
