It was my first time staying here, and it was excellent. I stayed with my dog, and the log cabin was very clean, odor-free, and comfortable. They came right away to explain how to use the BBQ, and their guidance was very thorough. The BBQ meat was delicious, and there was plenty of food—very satisfying. I would love to stay again.

The Room was clean, and we felt truly relaxed on the island. Since there was no return boat, you suggested a cruise on the first day instead, which got us excited from the start. The meals were delicious, and we were happy to enjoy plenty of drinks. We felt that one night wasn’t quite enough. The staff were also very kind.

We stayed at the COTTAGE for a Multiple Night Stay as a couple. We live in Fukuoka and were looking for an Accommodation nearby where we could relax, so we chose this place because it was easy and stress-free to get to and from. The price is not cheap, but it was a truly special, out-of-the-ordinary experience even within Fukuoka, and we had an extremely satisfying stay. The food was delicious, with a bit of an outdoor feel as well, and since there were no other people around, we could enjoy ourselves without worrying about anyone else. The staff were also very kind. We would definitely like to stay again for an anniversary or other special occasion.

We’re repeat guests for the cats, delicious food, and the cozy comfort of having everything you need right in the Room. This time my husband came with us too. The kids were thrilled with the maisonette and the open-air bath. We also love the skincare amenities such as lotion—they’re from a brand we like. We were so happy to finally spend time with the cats again. Since this was our first summer stay, we were told, “You might find stag beetles on the balcony,” and there were so many (surprisingly)! We took some home and are taking good care of them. Thank you for all your thoughtful consideration. Dinner was served at perfect timing—hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold—and my husband really enjoyed how delicious everything was. For breakfast we chose Japanese this time; the clay-pot rice selected by a rice meister was outstanding. Our child asked for seconds again and again. Everything was perfect except that the children’s pajamas we borrowed felt smaller than expected for their size. Thank you as always for your warm welcome—it made for an amazing start to our summer vacation. We’d love to come back again.

Even after making the reservation, whenever we contacted them to confirm details, the response was excellent, and we looked forward to our stay. From arrival through the next day, every staff member was kind and helpful. Just as other reviews said, the complimentary drink service was great—everything from beer to juice, water, and sparkling water—so both adults and children were satisfied. We were also happy they had coffee freshly ground from beans. The room was clean, and it was relaxing that there was a small area outside the bath where you could step out for a moment. We had requested children’s amenities in advance, and they even included adorable slippers, which made our child very happy. For our dogs as well, it wasn’t just a small crate—there were larger crates available, and as long as they wore a belly band/diaper belt indoors, they could spend time freely in the room, which gave us peace of mind. We initially wondered if dinner might be on the lighter side, but it was more than enough. From salad to fruit, it felt like a stylish course meal and everything tasted wonderful. It rained that day, but the staff moved the grill to a spot where we wouldn’t get wet so we could still cook outside. Breakfast was delivered in an adorable basket; this also felt like a course meal and we were completely satisfied. There is also a dog run nearby where our dogs enjoyed themselves while looking at the beautiful trees. More places are becoming pet-friendly for both dogs and children these days, but Kanata no Sato is somewhere you can stay comfortably with neither feeling stressed—definitely a place we want to return to. Next time we hope to enjoy BBQ while looking up at the beautiful night sky. Thank you very much for such a quiet, gentle healing stay.

We stayed to celebrate the youngest of our three sons’ birthday—this was about our fifth visit. The room has evolved into a family room, and with the slide, swing, and bouldering wall, they played nonstop. All three were very happy and said they want to come again and stay again. Thank you as well to K for taking such great care of us during our meals—it made the memories even more special. Next time, we’d love to visit for our second son’s birthday. Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. At check-in, the front desk staff kindly and thoroughly explained the in-house Facilities and services, which allowed us to start our stay with complete peace of mind. My wife has a shellfish allergy, and we are truly grateful that the restaurant’s head chef thoughtfully adjusted the menu for us. In particular, dinner on the second night was even more outstanding than the first, and we were deeply moved by the extra care put into each dish. While we were taking photos inside the property, a seasoned and very kind staff member noticed us and spoke to us. They gladly took photos for us, thanks to which we were able to keep wonderful memories of our trip. We are foreigners and can hardly speak Japanese. Even so, throughout our stay we received warm, attentive service that made us forget any language barrier. This stay reminded me once again of what I felt when I first visited a Japanese Ryokan years ago: uniquely Japanese hospitality that truly cherishes travelers and makes them feel as safe and comfortable as if they were at home. It is truly an excellent Ryokan. We sincerely appreciate the heartfelt hospitality of all the staff. We would definitely love to visit again. Thank you again for such a wonderful time.

I love this Accommodation so much that I stay almost every month. This month, I stayed as a birthday treat for myself. I am always impressed by the wonderful hospitality from the front desk and dining staff. Thank you for celebrating my birthday and for the message card and celebratory plate! This was my first visit. I came mainly for the cuisine, but the room was impeccably clean and well maintained, and the amenities were stylish—overall, it was a very satisfying stay. Every dish was delicious and exceeded my expectations, and everyone was so kind; the service quality was excellent. I don’t eat much, so I only managed one drink with dinner, but it looked like other guests were enjoying the pairing menu—I'd love to try that next time. In the morning I wanted more café au lait as well, but I was simply too full. If you’re going, I recommend arriving with a good appetite (in every sense). As advice for first-time visitors: if you’re coming from the south along the lakeside road, keep going past while looking at the hotel up on your left; after a short while, turn left onto the road beside a place called Cafe Oliva. We ended up being guided by our phone map onto an extremely narrow mountain road as “the shortest route,” so hopefully this helps.

Two adults and our child (5 years old) stayed for one night, and it was our first glamping experience. We were all thrilled the moment we saw the breathtaking view from the Room. With so many activities provided, plus relaxing moments like reading in the Room and making coffee, we enjoyed every minute from arrival to check-out without missing a thing. For dinner, they arranged a fun cooking experience with our attendant and our little “chef,” which made everything taste even better than usual. All of the attendants kindly accommodated last-minute requests and interacted naturally with our child, so we were able to stay very comfortably. Thank you so much for such a truly memorable time. (Our child did catch their foot on furniture corners and near the entrance door threshold, but perhaps that’s part of an authentic camping experience—not everything being overly padded or protected. The Room was wonderful, letting us feel the changing expressions of the mountains up close.)

On a whim, we decided to take a refreshing getaway and made a same-day Reservation at Nampuro, which we’d been curious about for some time. It was our first trip in a while, and while we were excited, we tried not to set our expectations too high when we checked in—but the moment we stepped inside, our excitement just kept growing! We stayed in Grand Oceans, and from the instant we got off the elevator—seeing the wide selection of drinks and light snacks—and walked down the beautifully atmospheric hallway, then opened the door to our room… everything was amazing. One “This is incredible!” after another. A bath with an ocean view, delicious meals, relaxing in the room with drinks—it was exactly the refreshing trip we had been looking for. Since it was raining, it wasn’t quite a breathtaking view this time, but we found ourselves saying, “Next time let’s come when it’s sunny,” and ended up promising each other another stay! Thank you for such a wonderful time. We’ll be back!!

They provided clear, courteous explanations via LINE even before our stay, which made everything easy to understand. During the stay, they also sent updates via LINE, so we had nothing to worry about. When we entered the Room, it was clean and smelled wonderful. The tableware and cooking utensils were well stocked, so we had no inconvenience. There were only a few amenities, but since preferences vary, it didn’t bother us. There is no TV, but we watched movies on the projector—it felt luxurious on a big screen. We stayed mainly for the sauna, and it was piping hot—very satisfying. It would have been even better with a cold plunge bath and relaxation chairs. You can see the Mogami River from the Room and the bath—it’s very soothing. It was an excellent sauna trip overall.

We recently stayed at Third with two dogs (a small dog and a medium-sized dog) and four adults. The Room was spacious enough, the garden was large enough for the dogs to run around, and while the pool is a bit small, it was still plenty big for four adults. The meals were more than generous and very satisfying. There were plenty of tableware and cooking utensils, which we appreciated. We were also happy to find pet pads as well as bowls for food and water. Everything was clean and well maintained, so we were satisfied with almost everything. If I had to mention one thing, the furniture—such as the sofa in the living room and the chairs in the garden—felt a bit inexpensive, which made it harder to fully relax. I hope this area can be improved. Overall, we were very satisfied. There are many similar Facility options, but many still have restrictions such as requiring dogs to stay in crates; this is a truly dog-friendly Facility. The price is a little high, but it feels worth more than that value-wise. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the chance. Thank you very much.

The property, amenities, and hospitality were all excellent, and we happened to be able to watch fireflies as well, making our stay extremely satisfying.

With the rain, we had no choice but to arrive at the Hotel early. While waiting in the lobby, they kindly let us check in before 3:00 p.m., which was a big help.\nThe Room was great, and the bath—with its golden-colored water—was incredibly relaxing.\nThe meals were also excellent and felt like great value for money.\nAll the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Next time, I’d love to stay again on a clear night when we can see the stars.

A bit pricey, but the furniture and beds are high quality, and the place feels clean and upscale. The tableware and kitchen tools were also stylish and easy to use. What felt most comfortable was the spacious entryway area with a large pet toilet—thoughtfully set up so our dog was less likely to have accidents, which let us relax without worry. The sauna is also well designed with a great flow from the bath, making it very comfortable. We’d love to stay again!

I visited with high expectations after reading the Reviews, and it was even more delicious than I expected! The building felt a bit old, but the Room was clean and nice. In particular, I loved being able to try small portions of many different dishes; everything was carefully prepared and delicious. The staff provided subtle, polished service, and their attentive yet unobtrusive approach made it very comfortable. A typhoon came through so I couldn’t go for a walk on the first day, but on the following days I went out for walks and enjoyed the scenery. The Room was spacious, and the sofa was very comfortable. It was also great to be able to relax in the large public bath late at night. Thank you very much.

Just as shown in the photos on IKYU, the Accommodation is surrounded by nature, and the location overlooking the Kofu Basin is truly spectacular. The Room is compact, but its tent-like design makes it fun. The bath isn’t an Onsen, but the night view from the open-air bath was stunning and more than satisfying. Before dinner, we relaxed by swaying in a hammock on the terrace and taking our time by the campfire. Dining while watching the scenery gradually shift from dusk to a sparkling night view felt wonderfully luxurious, and the food was delicious. From the Room facilities and amenities to even small details like tableware and cutlery, everything showed careful attention, and overall it felt very tasteful. In the morning I woke up before dawn and spent time watching the Kofu Basin slowly brighten while looking out at Mt. Fuji. Having coffee by the campfire was a truly memorable experience—one I’m sure I’ll remember for a long time. I highly recommend this Accommodation, though breakfast is self-prepared, so that point may come down to personal preference.

We had to cancel our Okinawa trip due to a typhoon. Then I remembered Iojima, which my husband’s mother had recommended, and looked it up. Because it was last-minute, the only availability was a BBQ Plan in a dog-friendly Room, but we made a Reservation anyway—and it turned out to be amazing! We don’t have pets, so I worried about odors or hearing dogs from other Rooms, but everything was spotless and we didn’t notice anything at all. The Room also had an ocean view and felt incredibly refreshing. For dinner, we thought two days of BBQ in the summer heat might be too much, so we asked the front desk—just in case—if we could change one day’s meal. They kindly accommodated us, and on the second night we were able to enjoy a course dinner. (This may have been because we originally booked an upgraded option above the standard BBQ.) The BBQ itself was delicious with plenty of variety, and eating while looking out at the sea was fantastic. For breakfast, we could choose from three different restaurants with different menus. Guests could also enjoy complimentary lemon water and chilled tea at various spots around the island. There were lots of activities: sports and games in the gym; ocean athletics and marine sports (extra charge) by the beach; a manga corner near the baths; an indoor pool; Onsen facilities; and even an open-air bath with ocean views. We truly had an incredible three days. Since each area is spread out, you can rent bicycles for free, and there is also a shuttle bus that circulates around the island. All of the Accommodation staff were kind and attentive, helping us create wonderful family memories. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here with my son’s family of five. The Room felt very spacious, with high ceilings and plenty of room, so my grandchildren were thrilled and ran around happily. The small space on the second floor also had a wonderful view of Mt. Asama right in front of us, and it was truly relaxing to enjoy a drink while playing my favorite Western music. My grandchildren can be quite sensitive, so we choose our overnight stays very carefully, but this time they liked it so much that they asked me, “When are we coming again?” I’d love to return again soon. The staff were kind and efficient in preparing everything for us, and their attentive service made our stay very comfortable. It was truly a wonderful night. Thank you very much.
