A glamping facility where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Although they were cautious and could only be seen from a distance, we got to see adorable deer! Enjoying dinner while listening to the cute calls of deer, the sounds of night insects, and the crackling firewood was simply amazing! The portions were quite generous, so we couldn't finish all of the hot pot, which was a bit wasteful. However, it had a gentle flavor and was incredibly delicious. The chicken had a rich taste that paired perfectly with drinks! After dinner, we relaxed on the sofa with dessert in hand, chatting leisurely with friends and enjoying peaceful moments. Next time, I’d love to visit in winter to enjoy snowy landscapes and a wood-burning stove!

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have stayed at many Accommodations throughout the whole country, and this was truly our number one—an Accommodation we sincerely want to return to. What impressed us most was the privacy that comes with renting an entire villa and the peaceful setting where we could relax without worrying about anyone around us. We spent a leisurely time by the pool, enjoying a luxurious moment where time seemed to slow down. In the evening, we invited friends who live on Ishigaki Island and enjoyed a barbecue. With perfect weather, watching the scenery shift from Ishigaki’s beautiful sunset to a sky full of stars is an unforgettable memory. It felt less like a Hotel stay and more like spending time in our own private luxury villa—an exceptional experience. The Room was spotless down to every detail, and the Facility, amenities, and even the selection of drinks in the refrigerator were excellent. It was high-quality yet comfortable, with thoughtful touches everywhere. At night, everything was wonderfully quiet, and we were able to fully relax both body and mind. Thanks to Gokkaiseitei, our anniversary became a truly special memory. For anyone who wants to spend an extraordinary time on Ishigaki Island or celebrate an important occasion with someone special, this is an Accommodation we can confidently recommend. Aoki Ryokan is a charming blend of Western and Japanese styles, with its blue roof and distinctive design—an Accommodation that gave me a great feeling even before I stepped inside. Fresh flowers were casually arranged throughout, the floors were spotless, and everything was impeccably clean. Perhaps because it is an old Ryokan, the atmosphere felt wonderfully balanced and calm. I usually suffer from insomnia when staying away from home, but here I felt completely at ease and slept very deeply—something that surprised even me. I also enjoyed listening to the proprietress’s stories (including one about Kunio Inatani, a pioneer of skiing in Japan) and savoring meals filled with mountain vegetables. It was truly relaxing both physically and mentally. As this is a historic Ryokan, old tools once used are also displayed; I was especially struck by the large saw used to cut ice from Lake Onuma, which made me imagine how demanding that work must have been at the time. A hidden gem!! We stayed with our pet, and honestly, the Room was extremely clean. We stay with our pet about five times a year, and this place is truly spotless. The open grounds are spacious and refreshing, and in the morning and at night there’s a pleasant breeze. It’s also conveniently located near Lake Biwa and Wakasa, making it great for sightseeing.

This was my first time staying with SANU! Karuizawa 1st is a quiet place surrounded by nature, and from the moment I arrived, the crisp, clear air immediately put me at ease. The Room is spacious and relaxing, with plenty of natural light through the large windows and beautiful views outside. Time felt like it slowed down, and I was able to forget the busyness of everyday life and truly recharge. I relaxed so much that I didn’t even make time for a campfire, so I’d love to come back again... haha

We visited with 5 adults and 2 dogs. The stylish exterior and beautiful interior were impressive. The food was incredibly elaborate and delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the bonfire due to the rain, so we're looking forward to it next time. It would be even better if there were a comfortable sofa in the Room.

Although it is a bit far from Kansai, this Facility is worth visiting. There is Pension Shishikui nearby, and it was nice to swim in the cove in front of the pension. The night sky with stars was also beautiful.

An amazing location surrounded by breathtaking nature. In the morning, we took a walk with the kids through the great outdoors, spotting animal tracks and even wild squirrels and deer. It was a magnificent experience you can’t get in everyday life. What makes SANU special is being able to enjoy it all with peace of mind. From helpful communication before our Reservation to well-maintained Facilities and equipment, plus advance information about the surrounding area, there’s plenty of support to help you stay comfortably. Our whole family was able to enjoy this extraordinary experience with confidence.

I heard that a colleague from work was staying here, so I decided to stay as well with a separate reservation. From check-in to breakfast and departure, the staff were very pleasant, and the stay was comfortable. We opted for a plan with breakfast included, and the freshly cooked rice and side dishes made for an excellent meal. Since there are few dining options in Fukudamura, staying with a dinner barbecue plan also seems like it would be enjoyable.

The Ryokan staff were very attentive, and the food was excellent. I would love to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Less than a 20-minute drive from Uwajima Station, the property is set in a lush green valley with wonderfully clear air. The calm, attentive staff handle everything from reception to table service. Meals feature creative dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, beautifully presented and just the right amount for someone with a small appetite like me. For drinks, you can enjoy an affordable three-glass tasting set of both wine and sake. The Onsen was quite hot, so I couldn’t soak for long (laugh). It was also a bit disappointing that early-morning bathing wasn’t available.

We stayed with our dog and our family of four. We were moved to see wild deer on the way there. For our small dog, the step up to the sofa was a bit concerning. Having to lay out the futons ourselves on the tatami was a little inconvenient. The pillows were too high for us. The terrace was very pleasant, and our dog happily played on the lawn. Next time, we’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay and relax at a slower pace.

We stayed for one night with a family of five and a small dog. Although the signal near the facility was weak, there was Wi-Fi available, and when we contacted them with questions during check-in, they responded promptly, which we greatly appreciated. The room was very spacious with large windows that provided an open atmosphere, and we could enjoy a view of Mt. Fuji from the room. When we entered the room in the evening and turned on the air conditioning, it took some time to warm up; having a heater would have been helpful. On the other hand, from morning to midday, sunlight came through the upper windows making it very hot; blinds for those windows would be nice. We prepared our own ingredients for cooking but enjoyed using well-equipped kitchen tools and appliances like a microwave oven. The drinks and snacks provided were thoughtful touches that made us happy. The hinoki bath filled the bathroom with its soothing aroma, creating a relaxing space—it was absolutely wonderful! Although this stay was only for one night, it made us want to stay longer at this facility. We hope there will be discounts for Multiple Night Stays in the future as we'd love to come back again! We checked in early and were able to relax until dinner. The meals were beautifully presented, with great taste and satisfying portions. The timing of each course was also excellent. We always felt that the staff were quietly looking out for us. We hardly ran into other guests, so we could truly enjoy our own time. The only issue was that when returning to the Room at night, it was dark near the entrance and difficult to unlock the door. We would definitely like to stay again.

The towels and tissues felt a bit insufficient considering the size of the property. It would also be nice if there were a wider variety of tableware for meals. However, despite arriving two hours late due to traffic, we were warmly welcomed and had a very relaxing time, which made us extremely satisfied. Thank you very much. We stayed at this Hotel looking forward to seeing fireflies and the starry sky. We saw far more fireflies than we imagined, and it felt like a magical world. The sky became cloudy from the evening, so we couldn’t see the stars at all. The Hotel was wonderful and helped us forget our everyday busyness. We would like to stay again.

We stayed here on our way to Kumamoto, visiting places like Hita and Yume Otsuribashi. Upon arrival, the staff promptly helped us with our luggage. Since there were few guests staying, we were allowed to use the men's onsen as a private family bath. The outdoor onsen had a silky texture that felt like applying lotion to the skin. As our room only had a shower, this was a very appreciated service. The room featured elegant furnishings that must have been impressive when first opened. While some signs of aging were noticeable (like loose closet knobs), everything was kept clean and tidy. The TV was quite small—less than 20 inches—and we found ourselves standing close to watch it at times. Normally, we don't watch much TV during trips, but since the weather was bad and there wasn't much else to do outside, it became a way to pass time indoors. On clear nights, I imagine the stars would be stunningly visible. Dinner consisted of course meals and everything tasted delicious! Although I knew this when making my reservation, breakfast offered only one option: Western-style with fried eggs as the main dish. Since this is not a large hotel catering to many guests, having no buffet is understandable (and I personally don’t prefer buffets). However, I would have loved an option for Japanese-style breakfast. On October 19th during our stay, there was one tree within the property showing autumn colors already turning red. By November, you can likely enjoy vibrant red and yellow foliage. This accommodation is perfect for those looking forward to enjoying onsen and meals here—thank you very much!

Right in front of Lake Kussharo—an unbeatable location. Rera is built diagonally in front of Fre, so you may be a bit aware of each other’s presence, and I did wonder what it would feel like if someone walked by while I was in the bath. The view from the second floor is simply stunning. The ingredients for the meals are luxurious and delicious, but unfortunately the wine selection didn’t match our taste (it would have been nice if at least the grape varieties were listed). Despite the overall great sense of style, there were some everyday-looking items like hand soap placed in the washroom, which slightly took away from the atmosphere. There was a faint damp smell on the towels, and the indoor slippers felt too ordinary—disposable ones might actually be better.

We stayed here as a couple on our first trip to Amami Oshima. The high ceilings, large kitchen, lovely interior, sound system, shower, and above all, the uncrowded beach you can access directly from the Room were amazing. Taking the chairs outside down to the shore for sunset drinks, and enjoying coffee while watching a morning rainbow, was the best. At night, we could see countless stars from the rooftop. Since it’s in the countryside, it can’t be helped that there are insects. Next time we’d like to bring snorkeling gear and enjoy a Multiple Night Stay.
