Everything exceeded my expectations—I was truly impressed. The welcome coffee was delicious. The ice cream after the bath was great, and they also offered complimentary late-night noodles. (I’d eaten a big dinner so I couldn’t try them—too bad.) The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the amenities were well stocked. Breakfast had plenty of premium ingredients and felt very luxurious. Next time, I’ll visit during the colder season.

At the breakfast buffet, the chef prepared dashimaki tamago and onigiri on the spot (you can choose the fillings), and I was happy to enjoy them freshly made. Today’s miso soup had clams in it, with a rich clam broth—it was delicious and comforting. There was a wide variety of dishes and desserts, including konjac-based items and Ota’s famous yakisoba, so choosing was fun and exciting. I’d love to stay again.

Having read the Reviews in advance, I was aware of what to expect, but my companion was very surprised by the contrast between the front desk atmosphere and the impression of the Room. The day-use bathing area feels lively like a busy public bathhouse, while the guest Rooms were calm and comfortable. Because we visited on a weekday, the large public bath was not crowded and very relaxing. The only thing that bothered me slightly was seeing someone brushing their teeth at the washing area. Even so, I was truly impressed by the abundant flow of free-flowing Onsen water straight from the source. When I visit around Nagano Station for work in the future, I would love to stop by again even just for a day-use bath. The Room was flawlessly comfortable, and the private indoor bath was very spacious. I was also amazed by how much hot water it had. Dinner was served in-room, so we could relax without worrying about others, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes with thoughtful touches. The staff member who served us was friendly and made it a pleasant time. At breakfast, it was also nice to be able to choose between rice porridge cooked with Onsen water and regular steamed rice. Please note that there are no amenities provided in the large public bath area (including makeup remover), so bringing your own is recommended. The in-Room amenities are also provided for one use (one day) only, so if you plan to bathe multiple times, it may be reassuring to bring extras. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay.

Just as the title says, this Accommodation was absolutely amazing in every way! Even before we arrived, they were waiting for us and kindly guided us to the parking area, then smoothly escorted us to the lobby. It was a bit of a walk from the main building to the annex, but from the moment we stepped in, the calm, crystal-clear atmosphere was so soothing. From the covered walkway you can see the sea through a pine grove, and even the lawn in the garden was beautifully maintained—everything felt spotless and impeccably clean. We checked in while enjoying a welcome drink in the lounge; all of the staff provided attentive service that never felt overbearing—just thoughtful and considerate. Dinner was served as a course meal, featuring exquisite dishes made with local Awaji ingredients and presented beautifully. The Western-style breakfast course was also outstanding. In particular, just as mentioned in other Reviews, the pot-au-feu was incredible. The lounge also had an excellent selection of high-quality alcohol, drinks, and food options, so we could truly relax at our own pace. Normally we would have needed to go out shopping for things, but this time everything we needed was available within the Accommodation—we were completely satisfied without leaving! The Room and amenities were perfectly prepared with nothing lacking, and having an open-air bath attached to our Room was fantastic! We would love to stay at Hamari-kyu again next time.

This was my second stay. I love Onsen and visit many hot spring areas, and the water quality at Sakakibara Onsen is excellent. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the large public bath in the Accommodation is outstanding. Although it is a low-temperature bath, you can also soak in the natural spring source, and it leaves your skin smooth and silky. During the day, the day-use bath is open to non-staying guests as well. The age of the Facilities cannot be denied, but even so, it makes me want to come back again. This time I visited during firefly season. The Accommodation’s bus took us to a viewing spot that only locals would know. It seems there were fewer fireflies this year due to a typhoon, but it still felt more than enough. The guide was very kind and made it an enjoyable experience.

The hospitality and service were excellent. Both the bath and the Room were spacious, so we could relax. It would have been nice to have amenities for women. It’s close to the Nagara River, and we were able to fully enjoy hot Gifu. Both the cormorant fishing and the fireworks were wonderful. Thank you very much.

I stayed here before and thought it was a great Accommodation, and it feels like the services have become even more comprehensive. With Senso-ji right in front and Hanayashiki next door, plus plenty of entertainment spots and restaurants you can drop by casually, staying here helped me rediscover how fun Asakusa is. I’d love to stay again in the near future.

I stayed here the night before visiting Meiji Village. The building might be a bit old, but I was drawn to the natural onsen and made a reservation. It was the first day of a three-day weekend, but the bath after check-in was not crowded, so I could relax. I used the microwave to heat up dinner that I brought to eat in my room, but since someone else was using it, I had trouble until a staff member at the front desk kindly offered to warm it for me there. The room's table was a small portable one, which I've never seen even in business hotels before. Not having face towels available was also inconvenient. At the hotel where I stayed the next day, bath towels were prepared separately near the front desk; it would be nice if they could do that here as well. The staff's service overall was very pleasant and accommodating. If I stay again, I'll make sure to bring my own towels!

After our trip to Furano, we found this Hotel while looking for a place to stay on the way home. Because it’s in the mountains, we were a bit worried about the drive, but it wasn’t far from downtown Ashibetsu, so we arrived without any trouble. We expected an older Facility, but once inside it felt completely modern. Everything was spotless, and there were lots of features younger guests would enjoy. Detox water stations from various brands, a space filled with books, areas to relax and chat, a guest-only lounge, wall art, and exhibits about Yutani Onsen and local coal mine history—there was always something interesting to see. The owl artwork on the wall was especially cute; if there had been any related goods for sale, I would have bought them. After getting out of the bath area, I was disappointed that one spot had that owl covered by a notice—I really wanted to see it. Our Room had a classic Japanese style but was very clean. The tatami mats were fresh and green-blue and felt great. It seemed that the open-air bath and the pot bath used Onsen water. Unfortunately it rained at night, but soaking in the Onsen under cover while listening to the rain was truly relaxing. I feel like I’ve made a connection with Ashibetsu as well—I genuinely want to visit again. I’d definitely recommend this Accommodation to friends and acquaintances. We visited Kamogawa Sea World for my daughter’s birthday and stayed at this Hotel for one night. We were looking forward to the dinner and breakfast buffets, and they were more luxurious than we imagined—we enjoyed plenty of sashimi and sushi. The sea bream kamameshi was so delicious I wanted a second serving. My daughter was very satisfied too, as she could eat lots of her favorite dishes. The breakfast croissants were also tasty. From our Room we had a panoramic view of the ocean, and the sound of the waves was soothing. The Onsen we enjoyed together left our skin smooth and felt wonderful. After returning home, my daughter and I talked about wanting to stay again.

A relaxing trip for a couple in our 50s. The bath was very pleasant, and the complimentary Yakult after bathing was excellent. The meals were generous, and the eel kamameshi at the end was delicious. If it weren’t for the loud noise from the in-room refrigerator and the extremely loud motorcycles at night, we think this would be an outstanding Accommodation.

We stayed here for the first time on a birthday trip for my boyfriend, who loves saunas! We travel to many places, but this villa was beyond our expectations—absolutely amazing!! The Room, garden, and sauna were all very spacious and spotless, and the mountain views were incredible!! The BBQ dinner was delicious with excellent ingredients, and the portions were more than satisfying. The sweetfish rice for breakfast was also outstanding! We enjoyed the sauna a lot, and at night we had drinks while enjoying the bonfire and BBQ—it was truly a wonderful time! Above all, the staff’s service was exceptional!! I don’t usually write Reviews, but I wanted to share my gratitude for this wonderful Facility and the amazing staff. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back again, and we look forward to seeing you next time!

The meals were delicious, and the horse sashimi we had for dinner was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming, from our arrival at the Ryokan to their attentive service during meals. It became a wonderful family travel memory. Thank you very much.

We were planning an Onsen trip to celebrate my mother, and it was the first trip for three generations of our family. Since my mother cannot use the large public bath, we looked for a Room with a private open-air bath. Thanks to that, she was able to enjoy the Onsen. The bath in our Room was also fed by Onsen water, and she was very happy. We chose the standard kaiseki meal, but the portions were more than enough—so much that my sons had to give up at both dinner and breakfast. When I requested a cake for my mother’s 88th birthday celebration, they even prepared a red celebratory vest (chanchanko) for her as well, and we truly appreciated their thoughtfulness. The building was clean. The large public bath was small but spotless, and we were very satisfied. In the lobby there was a local sake tasting service, and in the morning there was also coffee service—everything felt very well provided. Our whole family was extremely satisfied. All of the staff were kind, and we had a comfortable stay. It became a wonderful celebratory trip. Thank you very much.

This was an Accommodation I had long wanted to stay at. The staff were kind and attentive, and the view of Lake Shikotsu from the room was wonderful. The Onsen water quality was excellent and kept me warm. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

This time I wanted to try fishing at Kesennuma Port, so I stayed at this Accommodation because it’s close to the fishing spots. It’s located on a hill right in front of the port, with a great view. From the main entrance you can overlook all of Kesennuma Port, and it was such a refreshing place. What’s more, thanks to the very unique elevator tower, it was super convenient—I could get to the fish market on ground level in just 2–3 minutes. The building itself feels a bit retro and has a Showa-era vibe, so it may not be for everyone, but I found it very comfortable. What really impressed me was the night view of Kesennuma Port—and the sea urchin and hoya! The scenery completely changes from daytime; with the illumination it felt almost like a theme park. I was truly moved. I also enjoyed night fishing while taking in the lights—please do see it in person if you can. And the dinner served this time—sea urchin on its shell and hoya sashimi—was incredible. The sea urchin I had before at a Hotel in Minamisanriku was delicious too, but Kesennuma’s sea urchin is no joke! It had rich sweetness and umami and tasted amazing. The hoya sashimi may have been the best I’ve ever had. The ocean aroma and perfectly firm texture were irresistible for anyone who loves hoya. All staff were polite and very pleasant. Some seemed new, but their sincerity came through, and it made me feel this is a well-run Hotel. I suppose there’s no helping that some Facility areas are a bit old, but even taking that into account, I’d definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here after viewing the cherry blossoms in Miharu. It’s a small, standalone Accommodation, but the hospitality was wonderful! The bath is private for each Room, spacious, and available 24 hours. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches that let you soak in the Onsen while using a face mask. As expected from an auberge, every dish was refined and delicious. We were also very satisfied with the pickles at breakfast. This is an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again!

I have visited Noboribetsu several times, but this Hotel surprised me with its spacious Room! It was very relaxing. The Onsen was great, and I felt refreshed. It would be nice if there were wider yukatas available for fuller-figured guests.

We stayed here as a family during Golden Week. We often use Kyoritsu Resort properties, and our son—who loves Hotels—was thrilled! Considering the location and price, we felt the Room size was understandably compact. It was clean and pleasant. All the staff were cheerful, and it left a great impression that they greeted us clearly and warmly even when we just passed by. We also had breakfast here, and it was very satisfying. Of course, we fully enjoyed the Onsen on all three floors! We would like to stay here again when visiting Tokyo.

This was my first stay at this Hotel in exactly 30 years. While the interior shows some age, the staff were efficient and pleasant. The Hotel is located on a hill, and we enjoyed the peaceful surrounding scenery from the Room and the open-air bath. The meals were not extravagant, but dinner was served as a kaiseki course and was delicious. The indoor bath was quite hot, so it was hard to relax, but the open-air bath was at a comfortable temperature, and there was also a tub fed by a cooler natural hot spring source where we could soak leisurely. Considering the Accommodation Fee, I felt this Accommodation offered excellent value for money.
