This was a calm, relaxing Ryokan right in front of Lake Biwa. The three of us—my older sister, my 93-year-old mother, and I—stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. All the staff were very kind, and above all, every meal was delicious and truly enjoyable. The amber tea sweets are Futabaso’s original specialty and were incredibly tasty. I wanted to buy some but had given up because there was no shop on-site. When I asked a staff member, they told me it could be ordered for delivery, and they kindly prepared it for us before we left—making it the perfect souvenir. It was such a comfortable Ryokan that it made me want to book a Multiple Night Stay. Thank you very much to all the staff.

Older Hotels often have the best locations, so we came looking forward to the stunning combination of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka—and it was exactly as expected. Because the Hotel is built on higher ground, there is nothing to block the view of Mt. Fuji, and the panorama is outstanding. And on top of that, even during the Obon holiday period, we were upgraded to a suite—thank you very much. When I woke up in the morning and opened the large terrace window, after the previous day’s cloudy weather, a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji suddenly appeared before us. It was a birthday trip with my 92-year-old mother, and she was absolutely delighted. In the evening we enjoyed a full-course French dinner. The staff were pleasant, and everything was delicious. We also visited the café—the dessert made with an entire peach cost just 1,000 yen including tax and service charge! It was incredibly tasty, great value, and we were very satisfied. The building is undeniably old, but our stay was very comfortable. Lake Yamanaka may be less well-known among the Fuji Five Lakes, but it’s quiet and we really loved it. We would like to visit again in autumn to enjoy the fall foliage.

For our family trips to Aomori Prefecture, staying at Suimei has become our go-to choice. Our children are still young, but we didn’t feel any inconvenience at all, and they especially enjoyed the in-Room Onsen. We will definitely return.

I stayed here for fishing both last year and this year. The lakeside view from the window was wonderful, and I was able to relax and get plenty of rest. I’d like to stay again next year.

The bathroom and other water facilities were very clean. It was appreciated that the bath could be reserved for private use by time slot. The coffee machine in the Room was also very helpful.

I stayed at this Hotel to attend an event held at Yamanakako Koryu Plaza Kirara. My Room was a corner Room, and I was truly moved by the close-up view of Mt. Fuji through the large windows! I was also happy that the TV was big. The staff were extremely courteous, and their hospitality was outstanding, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious as well. Rice, miso soup, and rice accompaniments were served buffet-style, and the portions of the other dishes were just right. I could also relax in the large public bath after the event—it made for an amazing trip! I would definitely like to stay here again for next year’s event!!

We stayed here before, and since our child said, “I want to stay again,” we decided to return. It’s a maisonette-style Room, with high ceilings in the living area on the third floor—very stylishly designed. Although breakfast is complimentary, it was very satisfying and delicious. The only downsides were that there was no mobile signal in the first-floor bedroom, and there was a slight lingering barbecue smell in the Room. It felt different from a typical Hotel, and we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

We stayed in mid-April 2026. The meals were very satisfying, with a wide variety of dishes and generous portions. For wine, there were several half-bottle options, which we appreciated since a full bottle is too much for us to finish. Many of the staff were from overseas, but everyone spoke excellent Japanese and even recommended spots with great views of Mt. Fuji. It’s hard to deny that the building and Facility are old. Those who want to relax without leaving the Accommodation may find it lacking, but for us—just eating, taking a bath, and sleeping—it felt like excellent value for money.

This time we stayed in Cottage No. 17! It was a renovated Room where pets are not allowed, and it was very comfortable with none of the usual musty smell. Thank you very much. The parking lot was far from the cottage, so it worked out because we happened to have a rolling suitcase, but it would have been even better if we had been informed in advance.

We stayed on the one-night, two-meal plan with a Room assigned by the property, including grilled eel (kabayaki). The price was reasonable and the meals were delicious. However, it was disappointing that the website says parking is 800 yen, but when we asked at the front desk we were told we could use the municipal parking lot behind the property for 420 yen. It would be appreciated if this could be noted on the website. It was great to have a clear view of Bentenjima’s red torii gate right in front of us from our Room. We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

Staying here has become our annual summer tradition. Ever since our kids were 3–4 years old, “summer” has meant the lakeside pool, and we spend two full days playing nonstop. The pool gradually gets deeper, so when they were little we could play together in the shallow area, and now we can sit in the shallows and keep an eye on them as they swim. The slide is also a favorite with our kids. The guest rooms are built like apartments, so in midsummer it feels like “Outside?!” right after getting off the elevator—but for us that’s part of what makes it feel uniquely lakeside, so it doesn’t bother us at all. If anything, it makes us think, “Ah, we’re back at Lakeside again this year.” You do have to go outside to get to meals and the baths since they’re a bit farther away, but even that is something our family enjoys. We’re always satisfied with the food, and the baths feel absolutely wonderful. We come every year because there’s nothing to complain about. Every single Hotel staff member is pleasant—after nearly 10 years of staying here, I truly think they’re outstanding. Our kids are older now but still say they want to come again next year!! We’d love to keep staying here for many years to come.

Three of us stayed here, reuniting with a university friend for the first time in 45 years. We used it as an overnight stay before our golf round the next day. Using Earn Points gave us great value for money, and we could stay comfortably and casually. It was also nice to have a light breakfast on the morning of our round. We would like to stay again when we have another opportunity. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for a live event at Ecopa. Check-in was until 10 PM, but since I arrived at Bentenjima Station just before 10 PM and went to buy dinner at a convenience store first, I called to inform them that I would be checking in after 10 PM. The staff responded very kindly and warmly, which made me feel reassured. When I arrived, they informed me that the Onsen was open until 11 PM. When I asked if it would be okay as long as I left the bath by 11 PM, they assured me not to worry since there were still other guests who hadn't arrived yet. Although the person who answered my call earlier was different from the one who greeted me upon arrival, it felt like all staff were well-trained and caring, which left a warm impression on me. The view from my room was great. Since it was late when I checked in, I only used the room for sleeping, but it was very comfortable. Instead of traditional futons on tatami mats, there were mattresses with futons laid on top of them, allowing for a soft and restful sleep. If there's one thing I'd wish for—it would have been nice if the Onsen could also be used in the morning since its hours started from 3 PM. The location is right in front of the station with a convenience store nearby; combined with excellent service from the staff, I'd love to stay here again if I'm ever visiting Shizuoka again. Recommended by a gourmet friend, I stayed at this accommodation. Having lived in Eastern Hokkaido before, I had visited the surrounding area often but was not very familiar with Lake Kussharo. Curious about the place, I decided to visit and was immediately impressed by the stunning mountain views from the lodge. The rare snowfall for this region added to its charm this year. The experience of checking in via canoe or snowshoe from Lake Kussharo was truly memorable. The accommodation building featured facilities such as a sauna, cold bath, and barrel bath. It was delightful to cool off while enjoying the snowy scenery after using the sauna. For the first time, I also experienced tending a fireplace with firewood, which allowed me to spend mindful and relaxing moments. The meals were Chinese-inspired cuisine and absolutely delicious! The chef skillfully prepared luxurious ingredients like abalone and shark fin for an unforgettable dining experience. Thank you for kindly preparing additional mapo tofu as well—it was fantastic! Breakfast was equally exceptional. While having dinner, it started snowing outside; we appreciated how staff thoughtfully cleared snow just before we returned to our room in the accommodation building. Although it would be nice if improvements could be made regarding some minor points—such as whether or not the baths are onsen or addressing slight odors in rooms with toilets and showers—the overall experience far outweighed these small concerns. It left such an impression that I ended up making a summer reservation before leaving! This place is truly remarkable—I look forward to visiting again during another season for more unique experiences. Thank you so much for providing such precious memories!

A gourmet Accommodation offering breathtaking views from the bedroom and dining room, along with a peaceful atmosphere where you can faintly hear the sound of the waves. The sweetfish, carp, and freshwater shrimp were all delicious, and not only dinner but breakfast was also exceptionally high quality. On the way back, we stopped by the Kohoku Wild Bird Center and were able to see a birdwatching paradise through a telescope.

The timing for clearing the dishes was very poor. Although I had informed you of my buckwheat allergy, it was very disappointing that you still tried to serve buckwheat. The food was very delicious and excellent. Thank you very much.

The Room felt spacious and open, and we were able to fully enjoy Hokkaido’s great natural scenery. The meals were also very delicious. It’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Next time, I’d like to book a Multiple Night Stay!

[Hospitality & Service] The Facility staff were kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and truly wonderful. When the fire wouldn’t light, they helped right away, and the next morning they even came over to check on us. From check-in to check-out, their warm and refreshing service made us feel great throughout our stay. (I could tell the moment we arrived that the staff were genuinely nice—haha.) [Room] Both inside and outside the Room were unbelievably clean. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—“comfortable” is exactly the right word. *My friend said the floor in the Room was so clean, cool, and pleasant that he slept on it even though there was a bed—lol.* Everything we used within the Facility was spotless, so you can really tell how much care goes into every detail. [Other] I honestly have no complaints at all, but if I had to mention just three things: 1) It might be nice to have a TV or something in the Facility? → Since you can enjoy BBQ until night, I personally didn’t need one because it’s great just soaking up the atmosphere—but some guests might head back to their Room earlier. 2) The reception location (at check-in) → It’s not particularly hard to find, but since reception is on the opposite side of the main road, having a sign or clearer guidance might help. (There was information online.) 3) This is such a great Facility that I’d love for you to upload more photos!!! → It was even better than what I expected from the listing photos, so I ended up being pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. [Finally] This time I happened to see “Hikone Lakeside Resort KOMOREVILLAGO” recommended and made a Reservation—but it made me want it to become more well-known because it’s such a place worth supporting. It feels like it will keep developing further as well, so I’m really looking forward to what’s next—haha. I know it must be tough at times, but I hope you keep going strong. Every early December, we always stay here for smelt fishing at Lake Yamanaka. The Room has been renovated and is clean, and above all, the dinner is hearty and very delicious. The coffee sticks and tea available on each floor are helpful. We will come back again next year!

The weather was cloudy and rainy, so we could only catch a glimpse of the majestic view of Mt. Fuji, which was a bit disappointing... The location would have been amazing on a clear day. Since it was an entire villa, it felt like staying in a private vacation home and was very relaxing. Personally, I found it very convenient that there was a washing machine and the bathroom had a drying function. The meals were also delicious. Above all, the staff were kind and efficient in their service, which made our stay even better. Thank you for taking care of us!
