It was our first trip to Kanazawa, and we stayed here as a group of four friends. The accommodation had excellent facilities, including floor heating and air conditioning, and the host was very kind and attentive. The location is very convenient, with Higashi Chaya District, Omicho Market, and Kenrokuen Garden all within walking distance. Situated in a quiet residential area, it offers a peaceful stay. We would love to stay here again in the future! Amenities included shampoo, body soap, sponges for washing the body, toothbrushes, towels, and even a washing machine.

Staying in a trailer house for the first time, I was initially anxious, but it turned out to be a luxurious and comfortable experience. Our child loved it as well. The house was about 20 square meters in size, with almost all-glass walls offering an open view of the surrounding mountain meadow. With only two units on the property, it felt incredibly spacious and liberating. We enjoyed a delicious BBQ dinner and a breakfast served in a basket style. After meals, we spent time on the terrace by the fire while gazing at the starry sky—it was so relaxing that we forgot to visit the nearby Onsen! The owner-manager was very kind; our child quickly warmed up to him and chatted for nearly an hour while he patiently engaged with them. Although I had concerns about staying in such a remote mountain area with small children after seeing photos online, there were several vacation homes nearby, and since the owner resides at the management building during operating hours, we felt secure throughout our stay. I’m not fond of insects, and being September in Yatsugatake meant there were plenty around due to nature’s abundance—but keeping lights off when entering or exiting at night kept them from coming inside much at all. I would love to visit again!

We stayed as a group of 6 adults. First of all, the owner was very kind and considerate, even before our stay. Thank you so much! The plan included breakfast, which featured delicious items like bread, roast beef, fruits, and Hakone rusk provided in the room. The portions were generous and we were very satisfied. The bath was spacious, the room was clean, and we had an extremely comfortable stay. The sauna was also great! It would be nice if the issue with BS channels not being available and the difficulty in figuring out how to fill the bath could be improved, but other than that everything was perfect. It’s a wonderful place!

This is a wonderful Accommodation and ideal for adults. Many Facilities have been upgraded since last year, making it an even more favorite place to stay, except that some doors fit less well than before. The owner’s personality is also excellent.

We stayed as a group of 10 across three families and enjoyed a comfortable time with the spacious living-dining area, rooms for the children, and separate family rooms. The fact that there were three showers and toilets was great for ensuring privacy! For meals, we considered hiring a private chef but decided to cook together while enjoying drinks at our own pace. It would be nice if the private chef option included Western cuisine as well. During our stay, we visited local supermarkets such as Delicia, Big (AEON), and A-Coop. Among them, A-Coop is recommended for its variety of vegetables and selection of prepared foods. For breakfast or snacks, we recommend visiting the bakery just one minute away on foot (Sakurara Confectionery). Their rice flour donuts were chewy and delicious! Our favorite spot in the accommodation was the dining table (180×180 cm), which had an excellent square shape and size for group meals! Even with many people seated around it, conversations felt comfortably close yet not crowded. Additionally, the BANG & OLUFSEN speakers were very stylish with excellent sound quality! We highly recommend using them in stereo mode. Please note that connecting via Bluetooth may only link to one speaker; it seems necessary to select AirPlay for proper stereo connection. While some parts of the manual could be improved regarding these features, we appreciated how helpful JADE Group staff were over phone calls and on-site support when needed! Although vacation rentals can sometimes raise concerns about support services, everything from pre-arrival phone assistance to post-arrival hospitality was excellent. We had a truly pleasant stay. We look forward to staying at another property from this group in the future!

A renovated traditional Japanese house Accommodation located at the top of a mountain road. The old beams and fittings have been preserved or beautifully repurposed, so it doesn’t feel outdated at all. Since the owner built it personally, there are a few small details that may feel slightly unfinished, but the space is very comfortable, with thoughtful touches in the furniture and decor throughout. I asked to change the schedule at short notice, and they kindly accommodated my request, which I truly appreciated. For the barbecue, they also showed us—together with our child—how to prepare the firewood and charcoal, which made our child very happy. It became a wonderful summer memory for us.

We often stay in this type of villa because we’re a big family and we have a dog, and this place was the best. It’s a spacious single-story villa with a large garden, a fire pit, a sauna, and a clean, relaxing bath. The BBQ came with great-quality meat from a yakiniku restaurant, and the breakfast bread was from a proper bakery. It’s right in front of Lake Biwa. I’ll skip the small details, but everything was thoughtfully provided—we had no complaints at all. We felt truly refreshed.

This beautifully renovated traditional house features a calm, relaxing interior finished with solid wood and plaster. In the early morning it felt more than 5°C colder than Tokyo, but there is not only air conditioning but also a kerosene fan heater, and once the house warms up it’s very comfortable. As the renovation was completed recently and cleaning is thorough, everything felt very clean. As described on the website, the kitchen is well equipped—enough to cook most meals—and having basic seasonings provided is rare for an entire-home rental and was extremely helpful. There is no TV, but there is a Bluetooth speaker and a record player, making it a great place to relax with music or read. I brought a small projector and had no trouble projecting onto the wall. Step outside and you can enjoy magnificent views of the Southern Alps; with little traffic, it’s a wonderful area for walks. I arrived by public transportation, and both Yamanashi Kotsu buses and the local community bus stop nearby, so getting around was easy. However, I heard that Yamanashi Kotsu routes will be discontinued at the end of March 2026; relying only on about five community bus services per day may be quite limiting. There’s a convenience store within walking distance, and around Nirasaki Station you’ll find a shopping mall as well as stylish cafés, pizza places, vintage clothing shops, bakeries, bars, and more—I felt this town development could be promoted even more. The owner was very considerate in many ways, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I was a bit worried as there were no reviews, but the accommodation experience was excellent, and the meals were very delicious. This time, I went by bus. The nearest station is Seirei Hospital, and you can get there directly from Sannomiya or Shin-Kobe Station. It’s a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to the facility. There’s a FamilyMart at the bus stop, which is convenient. The onsen and pool were clean, and I could luxuriously enjoy the ocean view—a truly memorable trip!

The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We were able to relax in the private bath at our leisure, which helped us fully recover from travel fatigue. The Room was clean and comfortable, and the owner’s warm hospitality left a strong impression. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to unwind in a quiet setting. If we have the chance to visit Nasu again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

The entire Facility was spotless. The staff were very kind, and dinner was delicious with plenty of volume, including meat and seafood. Breakfast also exceeded our expectations, with lots of tasty bread. The in-Room coffee was authentic and freshly ground from beans, and cups and glasses were provided. The refrigerator had complimentary mineral water—two bottles per person. What impressed me most was that bathing amenities (towels, face masks, a brush, razor, body towel, slippers, etc.) were thoughtfully prepared to match each guest’s gender and age. I don’t think you often find a glamping Facility this well equipped. It also felt reassuring that staff seemed to patrol until quite late at night. If I had to mention one drawback: the toilets on the glamping side were unisex, and the door lock was a bit hard to secure. My husband had no issues at all, but I used the toilets in the separate Facility a short walk away. Still, there were play areas like wooden swings and a trampoline, and we could enjoy stargazing by the bonfire next to our Room. The kids loved it so much they said they want to come back—overall we were extremely satisfied! It’s a wonderful Facility where you can really feel the staff’s thoughtful attention. Our whole family had a great experience. Thank you very much.

We stayed at TATEGU -YA for two nights. It was spacious and comfortable for two people. The renovation was wonderful, thoughtfully incorporating valuable carvings as well as pillars, doors, and glass windows originally used by the joinery shop into everyday living. Compared to our last visit (three years ago), we felt there were more younger people around town, giving it a lively atmosphere. This is an Accommodation and a town we look forward to visiting again.

Before arriving, we got a little lost, but friendly locals kindly spoke to us. Even before check-in, we felt the warmth of the people and it made us smile. At the entrance, the cool sound of wind chimes welcomed us. We were impressed by how beautifully maintained this historic building is—many original elements remain, yet everything is kept in excellent condition. Thanks to the staff’s thoughtful explanations about the origin of the transom designs, hidden features within the building, and local history, we enjoyed our tour far more deeply than we could have on our own. The garden in the Omi-associated “Donketsu-ryu” style was unlike anything we had seen before. With many tall trees, we could enjoy a beautiful layered view not only from the first floor but also from our Room on the second floor. There was also a pond shaped like Lake Biwa and a tea-room-like space—an outstanding setting that made us want to relax outdoors in other seasons as well. We were also very satisfied with our meal at “Kokarokkon,” which came highly recommended by the Facility. Not only was every dish exceptional, but we were moved by everything—from the displayed art and attentive care from the staff to their explanations of each course and enjoyable conversation. This was a wonderful Accommodation filled with history, gardens, great food, and warm hospitality. We would love to visit again during a season when it’s comfortable enough to spend more time outside.

Everything was very clean and well maintained, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The view from the Room was an ocean view, and the scenery from the window was truly soothing. The on-site Onsen had excellent water quality—I could really feel how moisturized my skin was afterward—and I also appreciated the shampoo bar service with a variety of options. I came from the airport, and it was conveniently located just a short walk from the Shinyuzaki bus stop. They also stored my luggage before check-in and after check-out, which allowed me to enjoy sightseeing hands-free. The breakfast bread was absolutely outstanding—I regret not buying more to take home. It was a wonderful Hotel that made me want to stay again.

I stayed here with two cats. The litter and a litter box were provided, which was great. The Facility was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely like to use it again.

After my first stay in April, I became completely captivated by Kito Nasu and decided I absolutely had to visit again within the year. This was my long-awaited second stay! Last time, I stayed for one night, but it wasn’t enough to fully enjoy this wonderful place, so this time I stayed for two nights! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a delightful blend of wood and incense scents that make you want to take a deep breath. The sauna was as amazing as ever!! The layout is well thought out, and the fresh air makes outdoor cooling sessions incredibly refreshing. If you're experienced with lighting wood saunas, it’s easy to get started; even if it’s your first time, there’s a clear manual provided so anyone can do it quickly! The bathroom amenities are thoughtfully stocked with MUJI products. There’s not only a hairdryer but also a hair iron available. While there is just one mirror in the space, it's spacious enough for two people to use comfortably. I absolutely love the Aqua Feel bath that amazed me during my last visit—it makes you want to soak endlessly! (This time I used it five times!) The washing machine and gas dryer are super convenient; they even provide high-quality fabric softener that leaves your laundry warm, fluffy, and wonderfully fragrant after every wash. The restroom plays soothing music when seated and has its own handwashing area—very convenient—and yes, even the restroom smells great! The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances including a large refrigerator and plenty of stylish tableware. Everything here exceeds expectations—it feels like every “wouldn’t it be nice if they had this” has already been anticipated at Kito Nasu. Personally speaking, I don’t think there’s another private accommodation as charming as this one anywhere else. I’ve already started planning my next trip while searching through social media for similar private accommodations like Kito Nasu—but nothing compares so far! So now I'm thinking about visiting again early next year—this time for three nights! It truly feels like a second home where each visit makes you want to stay longer—a very relaxing accommodation. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

My children really enjoyed it. We wanted to choose the outdoor BBQ Plan, but it was too cold so we decided not to. We’d like to stay again during summer vacation. Also, we forgot our child’s backpack and asked you to send it cash on delivery, but you sent it prepaid. It’s rare to find service like this, so we were very satisfied.

The dome and dining area were exceptionally clean, and the meals were highly satisfying in both quality and quantity. Having coffee beans and a grinder provided was also a nice touch. This level of quality at this price is unmatched. Definitely coming back!

We stayed as a group of four, including my wife and parents. The charm and elegance of this building, designated as a city cultural property, were truly remarkable, and my parents were very pleased. I even wondered how such an environment could be provided while maintaining profitability. Here are some thoughts: 〇 Highlights - My parents found the traditional-style house nostalgic and reminisced about the past. I felt it would be great for elderly guests to stay here. Once inside (except for the twin bedroom and detached bathroom), there are no steps, making it comfortable for older adults. - The distance from Obi Castle was perfect; we enjoyed walks both in the evening and morning. The walking paths had a lovely atmosphere. - The garden was beautiful, and opening the window in the detached bathroom created a pleasant semi-open-air experience (though it's not an Onsen; bath salts might be nice). We also appreciated having Yoguruppe available. - The dining area featured delicious craft beer and shochu highball on tap, along with other drinks and snacks. As a fan of shochu highball myself, I was delighted (and drank too much). 〇 Areas for Improvement - The front door and toilet doors were stiff to open or close for elderly guests. It would be helpful if they could operate with less force. - While the outdoor stone stairs (9 steps) had small rises, the wooden entrance stairs (5 steps) had larger rises that seemed slippery—challenging for older adults with weaker legs or balance issues. We appreciated being advised beforehand about entering through the back door instead; however, even there were some steps without handrails that required caution. Adjustments to reduce step height would greatly benefit elderly visitors. - Due to low airtightness in parts of this historic building during pollen season, certain areas indoors (like desks in earthen-floored rooms or parts of hallway walls) felt slightly dusty. The town of Obi itself is wonderful but staying at this accommodation alone made our trip worthwhile—it was an exceptional experience! We look forward to staying here again when visiting Obi in the future. Thank you very much!
