A stylish, clean Accommodation renovated from a traditional old house. As soon as you step inside, the pleasant scent of wood is soothing. It seems to have two Rooms on the first floor and one Room on the second floor. There is a shared washer-dryer, which was very helpful for washing swimsuits. We stayed for two nights, and towels for the next day were placed on the table in a clear plastic bag in the Room; since it was fairly large, I felt a different presentation might leave a better impression… (not an issue, though). It also felt like there wasn’t cleaning service on the second day (again, no problem). We used the main building for the bath and coffee. It’s not right next door. Stopping by in the morning can be difficult, so I thought it would be nice to have drip coffee provided in the Room. The checkout system was convenient and helpful. Restaurants, a drugstore, and the ferry terminal are all within walking distance, which is very convenient. I’d like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

This beautifully renovated traditional house features a calm, relaxing interior finished with solid wood and plaster. In the early morning it felt more than 5°C colder than Tokyo, but there is not only air conditioning but also a kerosene fan heater, and once the house warms up it’s very comfortable. As the renovation was completed recently and cleaning is thorough, everything felt very clean. As described on the website, the kitchen is well equipped—enough to cook most meals—and having basic seasonings provided is rare for an entire-home rental and was extremely helpful. There is no TV, but there is a Bluetooth speaker and a record player, making it a great place to relax with music or read. I brought a small projector and had no trouble projecting onto the wall. Step outside and you can enjoy magnificent views of the Southern Alps; with little traffic, it’s a wonderful area for walks. I arrived by public transportation, and both Yamanashi Kotsu buses and the local community bus stop nearby, so getting around was easy. However, I heard that Yamanashi Kotsu routes will be discontinued at the end of March 2026; relying only on about five community bus services per day may be quite limiting. There’s a convenience store within walking distance, and around Nirasaki Station you’ll find a shopping mall as well as stylish cafés, pizza places, vintage clothing shops, bakeries, bars, and more—I felt this town development could be promoted even more. The owner was very considerate in many ways, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I was a bit worried as there were no reviews, but the accommodation experience was excellent, and the meals were very delicious. This time, I went by bus. The nearest station is Seirei Hospital, and you can get there directly from Sannomiya or Shin-Kobe Station. It’s a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to the facility. There’s a FamilyMart at the bus stop, which is convenient. The onsen and pool were clean, and I could luxuriously enjoy the ocean view—a truly memorable trip!

The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We were able to relax in the private bath at our leisure, which helped us fully recover from travel fatigue. The Room was clean and comfortable, and the owner’s warm hospitality left a strong impression. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to unwind in a quiet setting. If we have the chance to visit Nasu again, we would definitely like to stay here again.

My first trip to Fukui, and my first time driving on snowy roads. I headed there feeling anxious because a heavy snow warning was in effect, but I’m truly glad I went. We stayed for one night and two days to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. The snowy scenery was so beautiful—I could have watched it forever—and we had such a wonderful time. At night, we snuggled up with an electric blanket and slept warmly. In the morning, we played in the snow together, and the jacuzzi was so amazing that we used it twice! We didn’t use the meal service; instead, we shopped near the station, brought everything back, and cooked for ourselves. There were plenty of seasonings available too, so we really enjoyed cooking together. No Meals Included is highly recommended. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that I almost didn’t want anyone else to know about it. The staff member Mima was very kind—by morning they had cleared the snow off our car and even shoveled snow for us—so we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. We’d love to visit again. I stayed here with two cats. The litter and a litter box were provided, which was great. The Facility was very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely like to use it again.

From the reservation stage, the owner made various thoughtful arrangements to accommodate food allergies. The hotel interior features a rare piano, paintings, and beautiful furnishings, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. Each dish was prepared with care and was both gentle and delicious. We chose this vacation house in the Maoi area of Naganuma Town to get away from the city noise, relax in nature, and recharge. It had already been featured by various people on YouTube, so it fully lived up to our expectations. All we could hear were birdsong, insects, and the wind. Just watching the sky change—from sunset to twilight, a sky full of stars, and then dawn—made all our worries fade away. We stayed at Maoiq konfort, designed around a Scandinavian interior concept. The Louis Poulsen pendant lights in the double-height space were beautiful as they reflected again and again in the glass against the sunset sky. For me, unlike a Hotel stay, there’s simply no alternative to a vacation house where you can spend time privately and peacefully without anyone disturbing you—so I don’t mind a small difference in cost. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Below are a few points that I felt would make it even better, from my perspective working in architecture and interiors: I would have liked an interior roller blind since the entrance door is glass. Similarly, vertical blinds on the living-room windows facing the double-height space would be helpful. It would be best if there were dimmer circuits for the lighting switches. I’d prefer outlets by the bed to be on the center side; there was nowhere convenient to place my phone while charging. The bedside light is positioned too high and falls into your line of sight when lying down. If Scandinavian design is truly the concept, I’d like to see floor or table lamps added. I wanted lower-level lighting overall. (Downlights on the double-height ceiling don’t feel necessary.) To enjoy stargazing at night, I wanted an on/off switch for the lighting that illuminates the white birch trunks across from the terrace. A luggage rack would be appreciated—I didn’t want to bring dirty suitcase wheels indoors.

We stayed as a group of four, including my wife and parents. The charm and elegance of this building, designated as a city cultural property, were truly remarkable, and my parents were very pleased. I even wondered how such an environment could be provided while maintaining profitability. Here are some thoughts: 〇 Highlights - My parents found the traditional-style house nostalgic and reminisced about the past. I felt it would be great for elderly guests to stay here. Once inside (except for the twin bedroom and detached bathroom), there are no steps, making it comfortable for older adults. - The distance from Obi Castle was perfect; we enjoyed walks both in the evening and morning. The walking paths had a lovely atmosphere. - The garden was beautiful, and opening the window in the detached bathroom created a pleasant semi-open-air experience (though it's not an Onsen; bath salts might be nice). We also appreciated having Yoguruppe available. - The dining area featured delicious craft beer and shochu highball on tap, along with other drinks and snacks. As a fan of shochu highball myself, I was delighted (and drank too much). 〇 Areas for Improvement - The front door and toilet doors were stiff to open or close for elderly guests. It would be helpful if they could operate with less force. - While the outdoor stone stairs (9 steps) had small rises, the wooden entrance stairs (5 steps) had larger rises that seemed slippery—challenging for older adults with weaker legs or balance issues. We appreciated being advised beforehand about entering through the back door instead; however, even there were some steps without handrails that required caution. Adjustments to reduce step height would greatly benefit elderly visitors. - Due to low airtightness in parts of this historic building during pollen season, certain areas indoors (like desks in earthen-floored rooms or parts of hallway walls) felt slightly dusty. The town of Obi itself is wonderful but staying at this accommodation alone made our trip worthwhile—it was an exceptional experience! We look forward to staying here again when visiting Obi in the future. Thank you very much!

We stayed for a maternity trip, and the staff helped us with a gender reveal surprise, which turned out to be a great success. It was truly two days of happiness. Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime. The food, room, and service were all excellent.

The autumn leaves every year are unfortunately accompanied by bad weather, but this is my first time at the holiday village. The bath, room, and meals were excellent with no complaints. The buffet selection was great, and the delicious food, post-bath coffee, and ice cream were also enjoyable. It would have been even better with good weather to enjoy Mount Bandai together, but I was still satisfied.

We used this place for a summer getaway and a workcation. Miyota is less crowded than Karuizawa, with Tsuruya nearby and the station within walking distance, which was very convenient. It’s an ordinary local town with few tourist attractions around, so it doesn’t really feel like a resort. The property is spacious, well equipped with amenities, and suitable for self-catering. It was much cooler than Tokyo, and we were able to spend our time quietly. Since it’s a regular house along a main road, it’s best not to expect the atmosphere of a lodge or villa surrounded by nature.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cottage’s exterior illumination at night was beautiful. Inside the cottage, all the basic necessities were provided, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see the stars this time due to the weather, but I hope we can next time we stay.

My husband stays here every month. He says the bed is very comfortable, so he often books a Multiple Night Stay and sleeps very well. However, it seems some amenities are sometimes not replenished—for example, when he tried to use the fabric freshener, it was empty. If you will continue to provide it, we would appreciate it if you could refill it. Thank you as always!

As we didn’t have large suitcases, there was no inconvenience and it didn’t feel cramped thanks to the luggage rack and other amenities. The Room had only a shower booth, but it was more convenient than a shower curtain setup, and the toilet was separate, so there were no issues. Personally, I would have liked another type of towel in a different size. The mattress was great and I slept comfortably, and the large mirror was convenient for two people to use. Breakfast met my expectations; I was surprised they had sparkling wine available, but I enjoyed it. I’d like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed during Golden Week. Even though all the other Rooms were fully booked, we could hardly hear any noise from nearby, and we were able to spend a peaceful time surrounded by the quiet forest. Perhaps it was a season with very few insects, as they didn’t bother us at all, and the Facility was clean and very comfortable. Even the shampoo in the bath had a forest-like scent, and we felt that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. Thank you very much. After reading through all of the Room booklet again, I realized that shared Facilities such as the washing machine were located elsewhere, and I wasn’t sure how to clean up properly after using the campfire. It would be reassuring if you could add a short note on the red paper that was originally inside the fire pit grill saying that cleanup instructions are written in the booklet. Also, since it seemed to assume everything should be returned to its original state, I wasn’t sure how far we needed to go in putting things back—such as dishcloths or used towels. It would feel even more reassuring if there were a note like: “Please place used cloths and towels in the laundry basket.” We would love to stay again. We made wonderful memories with our family.

When traveling with our dog, we always choose an entire rental property, and this was the cleanest one we’ve ever stayed in. Pet-friendly Room often have lingering odors, but there was absolutely no pet smell here—just a pleasant hinoki-like scent, which was wonderful. Our dog, who is usually restless in new places, quickly got used to the Room and was able to relax comfortably. We would love to stay again.

This was my first stay in three years. I originally had a Reservation at another Hotel, but my stay here three years ago was so wonderful that I decided to change it to this Accommodation. The Room was stylish and spotless, and it was pure bliss to sip coffee while gazing out the window at the Onomichi Channel. The front desk staff were also very kind. I would love to stay again.
