From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

This Hotel was the very purpose of our trip to Kagawa Prefecture. We didn’t do any sightseeing at all, but from the bottom of my heart I’m so glad we came. Throughout the entire Facility, we could feel the owners’ attention to detail and refined sense of beauty in every corner, and at the same time we were truly grateful for their warm hospitality toward guests. Vintage and modern, Japan and Europe—things that are completely different were seamlessly combined through their sensibility. The interior design, the cuisine, and even its presentation were all wonderful and deeply inspiring. The old sofa in our Room had real character, was very comfortable to sit on, and matched perfectly with the modern furniture. Over time, the linen has developed such a beautiful color! I could really understand why the owner is so particular about that sofa. Also, since I’ve been considering buying the chair at the writing desk myself, I was happy to be able to try how it feels to sit in it. Everything they have selected was fascinating and exciting. Above all, their personalities are wonderful—we definitely want to come back again. (A stylish husband and an adorable wife!!) We’d love to stay in other Rooms as well, and see the garden in a different season too. For us, this was a truly meaningful encounter that brought new insights. I stayed one night in a Superior Room. At 43 m², it was spacious and very relaxing. The bed and pillows were comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. I also enjoyed unwinding in the Room bath with the Hotel’s bath salts. I had both dinner and breakfast at “Tateru Yoshino.” Dinner was a full-course French meal, and it was delicious again this time. Breakfast was quiet and leisurely, which I really liked. The Hotel’s signature curry was excellent. Once again, I had a relaxing stay and was very satisfied.

All the staff had wonderful smiles, the art-filled space was relaxing, and the food was excellent—our child was smiling the whole time. We thought it would be even better if children could stay together in a wider variety of Rooms. It became a great summer memory.

We stayed here for a marriage proposal. When I contacted the staff in advance about arranging a surprise, they kindly accommodated my request, allowing me to create the ideal proposal. We booked a Plan that included access to the Gold Lounge, and every meal was absolutely delicious. Thoughtful touches were evident throughout our stay, making it the most luxurious and memorable experience of my life.

Thank you very much for accommodating my daughter’s allergies and picky eating. At her earnest request, this was our first mother-and-daughter trip to Hanamaki to experience the world of Kenji Miyazawa. I’m always concerned about her meals when we travel, but thanks to you we were able to relax and enjoy our stay with peace of mind. It is a wonderful Ryokan—so much so that 24 hours in a day didn’t feel like enough. Next time, we would love to visit again with my husband and our other daughter—the whole family. It was a very comfortable Hotel. It truly felt like Greece on the Aegean Sea—and it was so clean!! The welcome drink was luxurious, too. The small lobby was also very relaxing. Breakfast was included, and because we had an early activity, they opened earlier than the regular hours. They also learned it was our wedding anniversary trip and gave us a gift, which really warmed our hearts. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and I’ll never forget how beautiful the moon and stars looked from there! Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared, and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay again. Next time, we’d like to take our time and stay longer. Thank you very much!

I stayed here last May, and this was my second visit. Due to traffic delays, I missed my original outbound flight, and my arrival airport had to be changed from Shimojishima Airport to Miyako Airport. Even so, you responded quickly—especially with the rental car arrangements—which was a huge help. The breakfast was delicious again this year, and we were looking forward to it; the morning rice porridge was also a favorite with our child. The service was excellent, so we had no inconveniences during our stay and were able to relax comfortably. We were worried about the weather because of the typhoon, but it passed us by—there wasn’t a single rainy day—and we were glad we could enjoy activities as well. Perhaps because of the typhoon you had put the chairs away, but I think it would be nice to have chairs on the terrace so guests can enjoy coffee while taking in the view or stargazing at night. I would love to stay here again on our next trip.

This was our third stay. Everything was outstanding! Not only the meals, but every wine you recommended was delicious. Even though I don’t usually drink, I was so happy to enjoy so many wonderful wines on this trip. Because of the typhoon, we couldn’t come on our preferred dates and had to reschedule, but you handled it very smoothly and we truly appreciate it. All of the staff were genuinely kind and were also very considerate to our child. KuuRa Beach was also beautiful and lovely. We look forward to staying with you again.

This was my first solo trip to Toyama, and I chose to stay here. To sum it up: absolutely the right choice, and I was completely satisfied with my stay. Although it’s a small Hotel, the service struck a perfect balance—attentive yet not intrusive—and the entire property felt like an art museum, making every walk through the building genuinely exciting. Even during the Obon holiday period, the large public bath was never crowded, and I was able to use it—along with the sauna area (spa)—almost as if it were private, which was wonderful. Dinner is a course meal that takes about two hours, but everything about it—the taste, portion size, and presentation—was outstanding. Breakfast is Japanese-style, and the freshly cooked rice was unbelievably delicious! I wondered if I could eat that much in the morning, but I finished everything on both days of my two-night stay. Both my Room and all common areas were extremely clean. With such a spacious property you might expect to notice dust or spots that need attention here and there, but everything is carefully cleaned and well maintained. There’s also a waterside area that guests don’t enter—perhaps part of the art—and I was truly impressed to see it being cleaned with a net in the morning. The shop inside is unlike what you find at many Hotels; it also sells carefully curated art pieces. When a small child came in holding a toy stick (there are many glass artworks on display), I felt a bit nervous—but at the same time, I sensed kindness in how things are intentionally displayed so anyone can view them up close. There doesn’t seem to be anything like convenience stores within walking distance around this Hotel. Also, since Toyama Station is quite far away, rather than for sightseeing this place feels ideal for someone like me who wants a quiet retreat-style stay at this Hotel. There’s still more I can’t fully put into words here, but I would love to stay again! Thank you very much for taking such great care of me.

The lobby and front desk staff always greeted us and were very polite and kind. The complimentary drink service and amenities were excellent. Our Room was on the top floor, with views of Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower in the distance from the window. This is a quiet Hotel where you can relax at ease. The smart TV was also great. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the omelet was especially delicious. The parking staff were also helpful, making it easy to use the parking facilities. We will come again.

Despite being in the midst of Tenjin’s urban bustle, I was able to spend a serene time that felt like a different world. I was highly satisfied with everything from the hospitality and Facility to the amenities and dining. This stay reaffirmed for me the essential value of Hotel service: forgetting everyday life, relaxing, and recharging for tomorrow. In particular, the “perfectly balanced sense of distance” in the service throughout the Hotel and the pleasantly unpretentious atmosphere were truly comfortable. As one of Fukuoka’s premier luxury hotels, it isn’t an experience I can have often, but it left a lasting impression and is a Hotel I would love to stay at again someday.

My wife and I visited from Kyoto. As it had not been long since the renovation, everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable one-night stay. The open-air bath in the guest room lets you fill it yourself—add cold water if it’s too hot, or add hot water if it’s too cool—so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Both the hot and cold water flow were plentiful, making it a truly stress-free Onsen experience that’s hard to find. The meals were also excellent; each dish was thoughtfully prepared, and I felt the chef must be very talented. If I had to mention one minor complaint, it would have been perfect if we could have seen Mt. Aso clearly from the bath, but I understand that can’t always be helped.

The location was outstanding above all else. The in-room bath was an Onsen, and the view was so incredible that I could have stayed in it forever without wanting to leave. The Room was a perfect size and felt very clean. The meals were excellent, and I was very satisfied with both breakfast and dinner. There wasn’t any particular dress code inside the property, and it was fine to dine in loungewear, which made for a very relaxing stay. We joined the optional stargazing guide tour, but unfortunately Mt. Onidake—the planned observation spot—was covered by clouds so we couldn’t observe there. However, the guide quickly took us to another location, and we were able to see a wonderful starry sky. We enjoyed the Milky Way and summer constellations with the naked eye. The only disappointing thing was that there was a used tissue left in the pocket of the loungewear provided in our Room—apparently from a previous guest. I wonder if they didn’t check the pockets during cleaning… I also became curious about other Onko Chishin properties, so I went ahead and signed up for membership (lol).

We traveled around Kumamoto by rental car with my spouse and our two sons, and stayed at Soan in two Rooms. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The staff were kind and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. The Onsen water quality was excellent, and we felt deeply relaxed after bathing. The Rooms were clean and comfortable, making this Accommodation a great choice for a family trip. I highly recommend it, and would love to stay again if we have the chance.

This time we stayed in a special Room with a private open-air bath. The water temperature was comfortable 24 hours a day, the tub was spacious enough for two people to relax, and the cypress wood rim added a warm touch—I think I soaked in it about ten times. We also had three bath towels each, plus a wide towel rack to hang them, which made everything stress-free. One suggestion: I used the open-air bath around 7 a.m., but the direct sunlight was very strong. It would be nice to have something like bamboo blinds to block the sun. We also used the large public bath, and as with other Kyoritsu Resort properties such as Dormy Inn, it had plenty of washing space and was easy to use. And when it comes to Kyoritsu Resort, there’s the late-night ramen service. Since this is Hakodate, they offer salt ramen in addition to soy sauce ramen. We expected breakfast—known for being popular—to involve waiting in line, but thanks to the special Room privileges they reserved our preferred seating (such as semi-private booths or window seats) at a designated time. That was great. Of course, the meal selection lived up to its reputation. All drinks in the Room were free—including whisky—and there was also a sparkling water maker. Overall it was excellent. The price is high, but given how well-equipped everything is, we felt it was worth it. We’d love to stay again if possible.

I stayed here on the way back after picking up my family at Haneda Airport. You pass through the Grand-side lobby, but it was crowded and noisy with inbound travelers, so choosing this place was the right decision. With its location near Haneda Airport, a natural Onsen, spacious Rooms, and excellent hospitality, we were able to enjoy an escape from everyday life without leaving Tokyo. When it’s hard for the whole family to travel far, I’d like to stay here again as a mini getaway.

We always use this place for our girls’ get-togethers. We have fun cooking together, soak in the jacuzzi, and enjoy champagne. With three bedrooms, we can relax and get a good rest. We’re also impressed every time by how spotless everything is. We usually stay right up until checkout, and they even took a commemorative photo of us outside on our way out! They also give us a Ryoma Passport as a gift, which we look forward to each time. One request: the shower is ReFa, but the hair dryer is different—so we’d love it if the hair dryer could be ReFa as well. We’ll plan our next stay and would love to come back again.

This Accommodation was the final stop on our 3-night, 4-day summer trip through Okayama, Tottori, and Shimane, and it was truly a wonderful place to end our journey. Check-in was very courteous and smooth, and I was surprised—in a good way—that an attendant escorted us to our Room while explaining the building along the way, which is rare these days. They also carefully explained everything in the Room, and I was impressed by the traditional level of hospitality. The Room had great taste, and the open-air bath in the Room was free-flowing Onsen water. It was a bit hot, but adding some water quickly made it comfortable enough to enter, so we enjoyed it many times during our stay. With Rooms that have an open-air Onsen bath, insects often get into either the bath or the Room, but for some reason we had no such issues here and were comfortable throughout. Dinner was served in a private room; the attendant’s explanations were thorough, and everything tasted excellent. The final dish seemed especially delicious—my husband and son even asked for seconds. Breakfast was buffet-style. We went at a later time close to last order, but we were not rushed at all and could enjoy our meal comfortably until the end. We chose late check-out as well. Although there were hardly any other guests around at that time (at other Hotels with late check-out there are usually few staff members left and no send-off), they continued to assist us until departure—taking photos for us and seeing us off properly—which felt like outstanding service. In addition, there were foot reflexology massages as well as foot baths, hand baths, and even face baths. Our Plan also included lounge access—all of which we enjoyed. It is rare to find such a large Ryokan (Hotel) with excellent Facility offerings, ample staffing levels, great service, plus wonderful meals and Onsen. It really shows their dedication. We had a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning ocean views and the soothing atmosphere on rainy days, and we were very satisfied with the warm service from the staff and their excellent hospitality. The chinsuko made at the restaurant was delicious, and we were also happy to be able to buy some as a souvenir to take home. Next time, we’d like to stay in and enjoy a relaxing “staycation” at the Hotel!
