From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

This Hotel was the very purpose of our trip to Kagawa Prefecture. We didn’t do any sightseeing at all, but from the bottom of my heart I’m so glad we came. Throughout the entire Facility, we could feel the owners’ attention to detail and refined sense of beauty in every corner, and at the same time we were truly grateful for their warm hospitality toward guests. Vintage and modern, Japan and Europe—things that are completely different were seamlessly combined through their sensibility. The interior design, the cuisine, and even its presentation were all wonderful and deeply inspiring. The old sofa in our Room had real character, was very comfortable to sit on, and matched perfectly with the modern furniture. Over time, the linen has developed such a beautiful color! I could really understand why the owner is so particular about that sofa. Also, since I’ve been considering buying the chair at the writing desk myself, I was happy to be able to try how it feels to sit in it. Everything they have selected was fascinating and exciting. Above all, their personalities are wonderful—we definitely want to come back again. (A stylish husband and an adorable wife!!) We’d love to stay in other Rooms as well, and see the garden in a different season too. For us, this was a truly meaningful encounter that brought new insights. This was our third stay. Everything was outstanding! Not only the meals, but every wine you recommended was delicious. Even though I don’t usually drink, I was so happy to enjoy so many wonderful wines on this trip. Because of the typhoon, we couldn’t come on our preferred dates and had to reschedule, but you handled it very smoothly and we truly appreciate it. All of the staff were genuinely kind and were also very considerate to our child. KuuRa Beach was also beautiful and lovely. We look forward to staying with you again.

Everything was excellent, especially the service. The staff’s attentiveness was outstanding. The rooms, amenities, views, and pool were all wonderful—highly recommended Hotel.

The meals are such high quality you’d never guess they’re buffet-style. The menu changes with the seasons, so it never gets boring, and everything is consistently delicious every time we visit! The Rooms may seem similar at first, but the layouts and interiors vary, which makes it fun and interesting. The Surprise Plan is the best—guaranteed to become an unforgettable memory! It’s wonderful to receive, and just as fun to plan for someone else. A space where everyone is sure to feel happy! We’re truly grateful to all the staff who create this extraordinary and wonderful atmosphere.

Whenever I’m on a business trip to Kanagawa, I always stay here as my regular Accommodation. Although this Hotel is close to the station, it’s very quiet, so I can truly relax and sleep well. This time, after checking in and doing office work in my Room, loud music was playing from the neighboring Room and it was unpleasant, so I consulted the front desk. They immediately changed me to another Room. I believe this prompt response also proves how comfortable this Hotel is. I would like to continue staying here.

It was a very comfortable Hotel. It truly felt like Greece on the Aegean Sea—and it was so clean!! The welcome drink was luxurious, too. The small lobby was also very relaxing. Breakfast was included, and because we had an early activity, they opened earlier than the regular hours. They also learned it was our wedding anniversary trip and gave us a gift, which really warmed our hearts. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and I’ll never forget how beautiful the moon and stars looked from there! Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared, and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay again. Next time, we’d like to take our time and stay longer. Thank you very much!

I stayed one night in a Superior Room. At 43 m², it was spacious and very relaxing. The bed and pillows were comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. I also enjoyed unwinding in the Room bath with the Hotel’s bath salts. I had both dinner and breakfast at “Tateru Yoshino.” Dinner was a full-course French meal, and it was delicious again this time. Breakfast was quiet and leisurely, which I really liked. The Hotel’s signature curry was excellent. Once again, I had a relaxing stay and was very satisfied.

From the Accommodation’s architecture to the bath and cuisine, every detail reflected excellent taste, allowing us to enjoy an elegant and special time of relaxation surrounded by art. As there seem to be various Room types available, we would love to return and stay in a different Room next time. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for accommodating my daughter’s allergies and picky eating. At her earnest request, this was our first mother-and-daughter trip to Hanamaki to experience the world of Kenji Miyazawa. I’m always concerned about her meals when we travel, but thanks to you we were able to relax and enjoy our stay with peace of mind. It is a wonderful Ryokan—so much so that 24 hours in a day didn’t feel like enough. Next time, we would love to visit again with my husband and our other daughter—the whole family. Everything about the service was outstanding! The complimentary items in the refrigerator were amazing too, and we didn’t have a single problem during our stay!

The guest room, hospitality and service, Onsen, Facility, and meals—everything far exceeded my expectations, and I was amazed at how satisfied I was. The atmosphere of the bath and the water were especially wonderful; I wanted to stay in forever. The food was also outstanding, and my wife was delighted. We also enjoyed playing table tennis, and thanks to the light exercise and the Onsen, we slept soundly at night—better than at home. We will definitely return together. Our family of three stayed for 3 nights. Above all, the location—right in front of the ocean—was incredible. It’s set along the coastline that continues from Toguchi Beach, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Toguchi Beach. It’s also less than a 10-minute drive from Irabu Ohashi Bridge, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. The daytime sea was beautiful, and the starry sky at night was just as amazing. On a morning after rain, we were even treated to the stunning sight of a huge rainbow over the ocean. The time we spent looking out at the sea and rainbow beyond the pool is especially unforgettable. In front of the villa there is also an area that feels like a small private beach. This time we gave up going into the sea due to an approaching tropical depression, but you can borrow pool items, sand-play toys, and life jackets as well. We were told that around typhoons, waves can wash away some of the sand and reduce the beach area. The pool is also just the right size for families to enjoy together. And what we especially loved was the BBQ. We bought our own ingredients and enjoyed lighting charcoal for the first time in a while. Having drinks while BBQing with the ocean right in front of us was unbeatable. The kitchen is stocked with most cooking utensils and basic seasonings, so self-catering is easy. There’s also a water dispenser, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, plus a washer-dryer and detergent—very convenient for a Multiple Night Stay. Trash can be separated and left by the entrance in the morning for collection. We also appreciated being able to sleep comfortably on proper beds rather than an extra bed even with three people. There are four beds in total, so we were able to recover well from travel fatigue. The staff were very kind as well. This isn’t suited to those looking for full service like a luxury Hotel with staff on-site 24 hours a day, but during staffed hours they responded quickly whenever we needed something. On our last day they even came outside to see us off despite strong winds and heavy rain—we’re very grateful. Since it’s summer there are naturally some insects around, but insect spray and repellents are provided; we recommend setting them up soon after arrival. Geckos are part of island life too (in good humor). Perhaps because priority is given to views, there isn’t much eave overhang; during heavy rain we noticed some noise from raindrops hitting windows. That said, this means truly spectacular views from inside—the window soundproofing is excellent and normally you can barely hear waves indoors at all. If anything could be improved, having mats at both entrances (the front door and terrace) to brush off sand would be even more convenient. This is a villa where you can stay “as if living,” at your own pace. Our whole family was completely satisfied—it was an amazing 3-night/4-day stay!

All the staff had wonderful smiles, the art-filled space was relaxing, and the food was excellent—our child was smiling the whole time. We thought it would be even better if children could stay together in a wider variety of Rooms. It became a great summer memory.

This was our first stay here to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary. I’d been wanting to visit for a while, and I found an affordable Plan, so I made a Reservation. All the Rooms looked spacious with beautiful views, so I chose the “Room type assigned” Plan! When we arrived at the Hotel looking forward to our stay, we were surprised with a suite!! The weather wasn’t great, but it instantly lifted our spirits. The view from the open-air bath was wonderful, and dinner was absolutely delicious! In particular, the fish and meat dishes had amazing sauces—we finished everything between the two of us. Breakfast was also excellent, including dried fish, and I even had seconds of the shijimi clam miso soup! The staff were very kind as well. Late at night, we accidentally stained the sheets due to our own mistake, but when we contacted the front desk they came right away to replace them. They reassured us again and again with “It’s okay,” and I can’t thank them enough for their quick response. The Room, the view, the food, and the staff—everything was outstanding hospitality. We had a wonderful day! We’d love to visit again for another special occasion. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation was the final stop on our 3-night, 4-day summer trip through Okayama, Tottori, and Shimane, and it was truly a wonderful place to end our journey. Check-in was very courteous and smooth, and I was surprised—in a good way—that an attendant escorted us to our Room while explaining the building along the way, which is rare these days. They also carefully explained everything in the Room, and I was impressed by the traditional level of hospitality. The Room had great taste, and the open-air bath in the Room was free-flowing Onsen water. It was a bit hot, but adding some water quickly made it comfortable enough to enter, so we enjoyed it many times during our stay. With Rooms that have an open-air Onsen bath, insects often get into either the bath or the Room, but for some reason we had no such issues here and were comfortable throughout. Dinner was served in a private room; the attendant’s explanations were thorough, and everything tasted excellent. The final dish seemed especially delicious—my husband and son even asked for seconds. Breakfast was buffet-style. We went at a later time close to last order, but we were not rushed at all and could enjoy our meal comfortably until the end. We chose late check-out as well. Although there were hardly any other guests around at that time (at other Hotels with late check-out there are usually few staff members left and no send-off), they continued to assist us until departure—taking photos for us and seeing us off properly—which felt like outstanding service. In addition, there were foot reflexology massages as well as foot baths, hand baths, and even face baths. Our Plan also included lounge access—all of which we enjoyed. It is rare to find such a large Ryokan (Hotel) with excellent Facility offerings, ample staffing levels, great service, plus wonderful meals and Onsen. It really shows their dedication. We had a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much.

The Hotel Room was very spacious, with a sitting area and large paintings, which allowed me to relax and feel at ease. I had an online interview to secure a new project, and I was so impressed by the elegant Room that it put me in a confident mindset. Perhaps because I took the interview calmly, I was told, “Perfect.” The spaciousness of the Room brought peace of mind, and I was extremely satisfied. The balcony had a table and chairs, there was also a TV in the bathroom, and the ceiling featured special curved woodwork that made it feel like being on a ship. I was able to spend truly meaningful time here. I look forward to staying again.

We traveled around Kumamoto by rental car with my spouse and our two sons, and stayed at Soan in two Rooms. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The staff were kind and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. The Onsen water quality was excellent, and we felt deeply relaxed after bathing. The Rooms were clean and comfortable, making this Accommodation a great choice for a family trip. I highly recommend it, and would love to stay again if we have the chance.

We stayed one night in a second-floor Room starting 2026/6/6. Our group was two adults, one 2-year-old, and one Pomeranian. The Room was stylish, clean, and spacious, and the private open-air Onsen bath was more than large enough. The water temperature was easy to adjust. Even though it was June, we didn’t notice any insects, and it was wonderful to be able to bathe 24 hours a day at whatever temperature we wanted. The only reason this isn’t a full 5 stars is the lack of a view (it didn’t bother us at all at night). We were surprised to find an indoor puppy area in the Room that’s big enough for light running. Also (in a good way), even though the Facility is extremely clean, dogs are allowed to walk anywhere as long as they’re on a leash. The vanity has double sinks and is very comfortable. There’s also a front-loading washer/dryer, so staying two nights or more would be easy. The shower room is very spacious, which made bathing our 2-year-old much easier. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances and tableware for cooking, but we ate out this time. Within walking distance there are great sushi places, buffets, loco moco spots, and an infinity-style scenic footbath with amazing views. Shirarahama Beach is about a 20-minute walk from the Hotel—an excellent location. Within about 10 minutes by car are Toretore Market as well as recommended yakiniku and pizza restaurants. They offer free rental of an outdoor wagon: we loaded our 2-year-old and our Pomeranian into it and walked to Shirarahama Beach. At night we went to a buffet about a 3-minute walk from the Hotel; after our child fell asleep we enjoyed Onsen time with drinks; the next day we bought delicious bread from the attached bakery Hotel before sightseeing. Thanks to all of this, we had an amazing holiday. We will definitely return—if I had to nitpick: - I would have liked a baby guard to prevent falls (we pushed the beds together and used pillows as a barrier) - I would have preferred an enclosed toilet room (this is also why it’s not quite full marks for the Room) We’ve stayed at many pet-friendly Accommodations before, but considering location and value for money, this was by far the best. We will absolutely come back. Apparently Rooms on the third floor have ocean views—next time we’d like to stay there.

Last summer, we stayed here for the first time and our whole family was thrilled to enjoy such an extraordinary getaway, so this year we extended our stay to three nights. Since we thought we might not make it by check-in time, we let them know we would be late, and they responded very pleasantly. Check-in was until 6:00 PM, but when we arrived around 7:00 PM and went to reception, the staff greeted us with a wonderful smile and said “Welcome back,” providing truly perfect service. Right after checking in, as we drove out for dinner, we noticed that the decorative lights that had been on earlier were now off—and realized they had turned them on as a landmark to help us find reception. We felt sorry for the trouble and were impressed by how thoughtful the staff were. Because we have a dog, we chose a type with a large dog run and BBQ facilities, and it exceeded our expectations. The Room was spacious and spotless, amenities were well prepared, and it was so perfect it was hard to find anything to complain about. We’d love to keep using it like a vacation home in the future, and I think it’s also ideal for multiple families or three-generation trips.
