Two nights with my family during summer vacation in a Mt. Fuji view Room. A relaxing trip with our dog. Mt. Fuji looked beautiful in the morning. Choosing a Mt. Fuji view Room was absolutely the right decision. Lake Yamanaka was cool and perfect for a summer getaway. The outdoor dog run was clean, and we had a great time playing. The rooftop dog run was especially stunning, with the contrast between the blue flooring and Mt. Fuji. Breakfast and dinner were delicious as well. However, after two nights we started craving rice. It would be nice to have steamed white rice at breakfast in addition to bread. One thing that bothered us was the smell when we first entered the Room. Turning the air purifier up to MAX helped quite a bit, but... That was the only downside—overall we were satisfied. This has become one of the Hotels we’d like to return to. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay. When I called in advance to ask about setting up an oxygen concentrator, the staff responded very kindly and courteously, which made me feel at ease about my visit. On the day, they thoughtfully arranged a first-floor Room for me, and I truly appreciated their attention to detail. The Room itself was spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably throughout my stay. Thanks to their warm hospitality, it was a wonderful stay. I would definitely like to stay here again.

A typhoon was approaching, so we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji clearly, but thanks to the Hotel’s attentive service, we had a very comfortable stay. Above all, being able to walk around the Hotel in loungewear and slippers like at an Onsen Facility was so convenient and relaxing. We also really enjoyed the late-night soba we’d been looking forward to—there were two varieties, and we were very satisfied. It made us want to stay at other La Vista properties again and build on that satisfaction even more.

It was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and kind. I was truly impressed by the thoughtful touches throughout the Hotel, such as handwritten boards and information materials introducing birds you can see around the Hotel.\nThe Room was also very clean and comfortable, and the meals were delicious—especially the beef stew, which became my favorite. My family and I are already saying we definitely want to come again.

This was my second visit. The Onsen is spacious with great views, providing a satisfying experience. The stone sauna offers various options, making it enjoyable. The meals were buffet-style, with fresh sashimi and a wide variety of dishes. I had fun and ate to my heart's content

We stayed here for a family trip. There were plenty of kid-friendly facilities such as the pool, illuminations, and a playroom, and we had a great time! Our children were thrilled and kept saying, “We want to come again,” so we were very satisfied as parents. The Onsen was wonderful, and we really appreciated having unlimited towels available at both the Onsen and the pool—it made everything comfortable and stress-free. The staff were also polite and kind. The only thing that bothered us was having to wait for the elevator at times. As for dining, there were occasional lines at dinner buffet stations where chefs cook in front of you, but it wasn’t a big issue. At breakfast, since it’s split into two time slots, there were lines during our time; however, I think that’s unavoidable during busy mornings. It was a lovely Hotel that made us want to return!

We stayed for one night and two days with our grandchild. As mentioned in the Reviews, the building and the Room itself are indeed old, but everything was properly cleaned and there were no issues. With the all-you-can-play passport, we fully enjoyed bowling, the pool, craft-making, festival-style games, quizzes, a stamp rally, and more. The free shuttle bus from the Hotel to Yubatake at night was extremely helpful; it was my first time seeing the Yubatake illumination, and I was surprised by how many tourists were there. Even though it was summer, walking around Yubatake felt pleasantly cool—almost a little chilly—which was wonderful. The next day we used the Hotel bus again because I wanted my grandchild to enjoy street food and try yumomi (hot spring water stirring). I had only ever visited Kusatsu in winter before, so this summer trip was a first for me. While news reports talked about extreme heat in Tokyo, I was amazed at how cool and comfortable Kusatsu is in summer. At night we didn’t need air conditioning in our Room; it even felt slightly chilly. Summer in Kusatsu is great.\nThe meals were delicious, and everyone at the front desk, each reception counter, and the shop—especially the international staff—was very polite and pleasant. Every staff member provided excellent service; I was truly impressed. This is a highly recommended Hotel for families with children as well. We would love to visit again. One drawback is that the Hotel is so large that it’s easy to get lost—especially when trying to find the baths; as noted in Reviews, we got lost too. Overall though, it was a wonderful Hotel. I soaked 9 times over a 3-day, 2-night stay. That’s because you can bathe all night long except for three hours in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. It’s so relaxing that your everyday fatigue feels like a lie. The Onsen quality is truly the best. This time, my skin checker even showed an age of 25. Thanks to the “Beautiful Skin Deity.”

Traveling with our dog, everything—price, service, cleanliness, etc.—was excellent. [Things that would make it even better] - It would be helpful to have plastic bags in the bathroom for wet clothes. - At breakfast, some dishes didn’t have labels, so we couldn’t tell what they were; it would be nice if all items were labeled. - A lid for the pet crate would make it easier to leave our dog alone with peace of mind. - It would be great to have a safety measure on the balcony fence to prevent dogs from falling, just in case they slip out by accident. - Better pruning of the trees around the open-air bath would make it even nicer. - It would be nice to have one lane in the pool for guests who want to swim laps. I ended up writing a lot, but we will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

The Hotel has a wonderful overall atmosphere, and everything was kept very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. From the warm welcome to the front desk service and the staff during meals, everything was excellent. Thanks to you, I had a truly pleasant time—thank you very much. Mt. Fuji from the bath, Mt. Fuji from the guest room, and Mt. Fuji while enjoying breakfast. Although the sky was cloudy, Mt. Fuji appearing now and then was breathtaking. I chose the Western-style breakfast, and everything was delicious—I left completely full in the morning. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance. We used this Accommodation for a three-generation trip with a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. Our Plan was Amanohashidate on the first day and Kinosaki Marine World on the second. We originally planned to visit Marine World on day one and stay near it with no meals, but we changed our schedule to spend more time at Marine World and switched to a Plan with meals, so we chose this Accommodation. After check-in, we spent time in the pool before dinner. The pool was just the right size for the kids, and they had plenty of fun going back and forth between areas about 40 cm deep and about 100 cm deep. Dinner portions felt a bit small for an adult man. Breakfast was satisfying, with refills of rice available. The building is not new, but it was well cleaned and felt very tidy overall. It was also nice that we could choose yukata after check-in.

This was my second stay, and I enjoyed a multiple night stay for 2 nights. The Genghis Khan and soup curry I had at the golf course restaurant were incredibly delicious. The restaurant staff, both at the main building and the golf course, impressed me with their perfect timing

What impressed me most was the warmth of the staff. Their demeanor and choice of words reflected outstanding hospitality, allowing me to relax and enjoy my stay with peace of mind. Breakfast was also excellent—not only for the food itself, but also because it could be enjoyed slowly in a serene setting. It felt like one of the great highlights of staying at this Hotel. This Hotel is not simply a place to stay; it is a place to step away from everyday life and spend quiet time in refined comfort. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to take their time enjoying their stay while appreciating its beautiful atmosphere and distinctive world that the staff so carefully preserve. I sincerely thank all staff members for providing such a wonderful space and service. I would love to visit again. However, some guests’ behavior was disappointing. At minimum, basic manners matter—no swimming in the large public bath; no shouting by adults or children; no arguing or yelling between parents; no running in the breakfast area. Even though it was only one night, there was a significant gap between guests who wanted to enjoy a quiet, high-quality environment and those without manners. With both groups mixed together, it is true that there were many moments when I could not fully enjoy what should have been such a dignified and lovely atmosphere. The food, cleanliness, ambiance, elegance, professionalism at reception, quality of furnishings, and housekeeping (except for parts related to air conditioning within the building) were all excellent and very satisfying. This is an issue on our side as guests. Please follow basic etiquette in shared spaces: do not run (especially in the breakfast area), do not shout, do not argue loudly even as parents—and keep your voices down. Unfortunately there were many guests who did not observe these basics. I especially wish people would refrain from swimming in the large public bath. There were also children splashing water around with wash buckets—yet some parents did not correct them; instead they swam together with their children while being loud. It felt chaotic. I also did not want to witness arguments between parents. I do not want to hear shouting or yelling. If only guest behavior improved—but aside from that point, this Hotel is outstanding!

The welcome drink was excellent. The Onsen was also great. Right across the street are a roadside station and the Nagisa Driveway. It became a wonderful memory.

This was our first trip to Hokkaido with three generations of our family. We were more than satisfied with the breathtaking view of Mt. Yotei and the wonderful Room, which was spacious and allowed us to enjoy privacy as well. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you very much.
