The Room was very clean, and I was able to stay comfortable throughout my entire visit. What I especially loved were the infinity pool and the sauna. With only seven Rooms available per day, it never felt crowded, and I could relax and enjoy them at a leisurely pace. The views were stunning, and you can truly experience an extraordinary escape from everyday life. The staff’s hospitality was also excellent, making my stay very pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar had a wonderful atmosphere as well. Being able to enjoy drinks slowly while taking in the view was particularly memorable. It’s not an inexpensive Accommodation, but considering the Facility offerings, meals, service, and views, I felt it was well worth the price. I would love to stay again.

We had an incredibly fulfilling stay. From the interior and exterior design to the furniture, decor, fixtures, amenities, lawn, and open grounds, this was a wonderfully comfortable Facility where you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The interior is unified in a calm design, with very high ceilings that create an airy sense of openness, allowing us to fully enjoy a special time away from everyday life. The vanity area and bathroom were especially spacious and impressive—made with high-quality materials and kept impeccably clean down to every corner. The amenities also felt thoughtfully chosen; for example, Aesop hand soap was provided at the sink. All essential cookware and appliances were available, so we could stay comfortably without any inconvenience. We even enjoyed handheld fireworks in the garden. The views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps were also stunning—scenery you could gaze at for hours without noticing time pass. Most memorable of all were the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge bath. The wood-fired sauna was exceptional—enjoying it while feeling the flicker of flames, hearing the crackle of burning logs, and breathing in the scent of wood was truly special. Unlike an electric heater, it had a gentle heat that warmed us slowly from deep within and helped us relax completely. A large amount of sauna stones were thoroughly heated, so we could also enjoy pleasant steam from löyly. It’s an ideal setup that I would highly recommend even to dedicated sauna lovers. They added ice to the cold plunge bath multiple times for us, so we could cool down properly. Paired with the wood-fired sauna, it was perfect—we fully enjoyed every session. In the evening we enjoyed a BBQ, and we really appreciated that the owner prepared everything—from lighting the fire to setting everything up. On top of that, we received a generous gift of fresh vegetables grown by his wife. They were all rare varieties you don’t often see day-to-day, and you could feel careful attention not only in each vegetable but also in their labels and packaging. We tried them right away at our BBQ—especially the eggplant, which was unbelievably tender and delicious. Beyond how wonderful both the Facility itself and its location are, we were truly moved by the owners’ thoughtful hospitality as well. In this extraordinary setting—with beautiful views, a wood-fired sauna experience like no other،and BBQ—we spent a luxurious yet deeply comfortable time here. We would love to stay again. This was my first solo trip to Toyama, and I chose to stay here. To sum it up: absolutely the right choice, and I was completely satisfied with my stay. Although it’s a small Hotel, the service struck a perfect balance—attentive yet not intrusive—and the entire property felt like an art museum, making every walk through the building genuinely exciting. Even during the Obon holiday period, the large public bath was never crowded, and I was able to use it—along with the sauna area (spa)—almost as if it were private, which was wonderful. Dinner is a course meal that takes about two hours, but everything about it—the taste, portion size, and presentation—was outstanding. Breakfast is Japanese-style, and the freshly cooked rice was unbelievably delicious! I wondered if I could eat that much in the morning, but I finished everything on both days of my two-night stay. Both my Room and all common areas were extremely clean. With such a spacious property you might expect to notice dust or spots that need attention here and there, but everything is carefully cleaned and well maintained. There’s also a waterside area that guests don’t enter—perhaps part of the art—and I was truly impressed to see it being cleaned with a net in the morning. The shop inside is unlike what you find at many Hotels; it also sells carefully curated art pieces. When a small child came in holding a toy stick (there are many glass artworks on display), I felt a bit nervous—but at the same time, I sensed kindness in how things are intentionally displayed so anyone can view them up close. There doesn’t seem to be anything like convenience stores within walking distance around this Hotel. Also, since Toyama Station is quite far away, rather than for sightseeing this place feels ideal for someone like me who wants a quiet retreat-style stay at this Hotel. There’s still more I can’t fully put into words here, but I would love to stay again! Thank you very much for taking such great care of me.

Everything was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. They provided drinks and sweets, and we really felt their hospitality. The Room and bath were stylish, and I think they would be popular with younger guests as well. There were also plenty of amenities provided. I was surprised to find the same shampoo and conditioner my daughter uses. The private dog run was spacious, and our dog was happy running around. It’s within walking distance of the station, and there’s a convenience store nearby. It was a wonderful Accommodation—thank you very much. Thank you for arranging the beds for three guests.

We chose this Accommodation after seeing photos and Reviews saying the food is incredibly delicious. We travel twice a week, and among the many Accommodations we’ve stayed at, the meals here were truly top-class. It really felt like we came to stay at an Accommodation run by a chef. We’re a bit shy, but they spoke with us in a way that wasn’t too close or too distant, so we had a wonderful time. This time it was just the two of us, but next time we’d like to bring our parents as well.

The open-air bath at Shiun-no-Yu was outstanding. Breakfast is their top highlight, and the variety, selection, and taste were all perfect. I have stayed at La Vista in Hakodate, Kushiro, and Furano, and the high quality has been consistently maintained—it’s truly excellent.

Thank you very much for taking such great care of us during our three-night stay. It was almost our first time visiting Shodoshima, so we truly appreciated the owner suggesting a sightseeing list in advance—it was wonderful. We were also very grateful that you kindly agreed to provide a Shuttle Service, which helped us a lot. For dinner on three evenings, you arranged Japanese cuisine, Italian food, and sushi, and we enjoyed every single meal!! We also had such a great time chatting with the chefs. Our favorite part each morning was the eggs laid by the chickens. On the third day, when we found an egg and picked it up, it was still warm and made us feel so happy. The chickens were very friendly and adorable; even after returning from sightseeing each day, we would say “We’re home!” and go check on them. We also loved the view of Mt. Goishiyama from the second floor. Going up and down the stairs was another fun part for us since we usually live in a barrier-free apartment building. Lastly, we were deeply moved by the owner’s personality and heartfelt hospitality. We truly feel there is a kind of hospitality that can only be experienced at this type of private rental Accommodation. My husband and I sincerely look forward to visiting again next time!!

We visited to enjoy a family vacation. THE HOUSE has wonderful taste. From the moment we stepped inside, we fell in love with the ocean view stretching across the entire window. We were also captivated by the sight of Mt. Fuji glowing in the sunset, and couldn’t stop taking photos. There was an original photo book casually placed there, and when we opened it, inspiring words appeared, which conveyed the lovely thoughts behind this place when it was built. Since it was Golden Week, Aburatsubo and Misaki Port were crowded, but coming back felt like returning to a secluded private villa where we could truly rest and enjoy the quiet. Also, at a Hotel or Ryokan you can feel slightly rushed about breakfast times, so it was great to spend relaxed “THE HOUSE time” without that. Our dog could also stretch out and seemed very happy. Thank you very much.

We stayed with our 5-year-old daughter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were originally looking for an auberge around the Yatsugatake area, but there are only a limited number of Accommodations that welcome small children. This Accommodation not only allows children (they truly make them feel welcome!), and I had long been interested in aqua tourism, so we decided right away. It turned out to be the perfect choice! We were moved by the open, expansive view from the living room and impressed by the tasteful touches throughout. Soon after arriving, we walked to a nearby field for the vegetable harvesting experience our daughter had been looking forward to. Surrounded by clear air at the foot of Yatsugatake’s magnificent nature, she touched the soil and picked colorful seasonal vegetables—an incredibly fresh and valuable experience that’s hard to have in the city. Our daughter is usually very shy with strangers, but she quickly warmed up to the owners’ kind personalities. We were amazed to see her happily harvesting vegetables with the husband on her own, away from us. The meals honored the natural flavors of each ingredient, and our whole family was genuinely impressed. The husband mentioned his cooking isn’t flashy, but it was truly exceptional—food that conveyed his love for ingredients and his desire to share deliciousness with others, nourishing both body and soul. They also pay great attention to tableware, so it was a pleasure enjoying not only the food but also admiring each piece. They prepared a children’s meal plate for our daughter, but it was so delicious that she also ate from our dishes—and even had seconds at breakfast and finished everything. Before checkout on day two, we joined a herbal tea blending experience. The wife taught us gently and carefully, and our daughter enjoyed it as well. It was educational, and her calm presence made it a soothing time. At checkout, while we were busy getting ready to leave, they kindly kept our daughter company. Seeing how attached she had become truly touched us. The couple’s warm personalities and thoughtful care, wonderful food, rich surrounding nature setting,, beautiful interior details—everything was outstandingand left us feeling warm inside.. I think this is an ideal Accommodation for relaxing slowly at your own pace. Onon thhe way home,, myy daughteer murmured,, “I won’t getto see big brotherand big sister anymore? I wantto see them again.” We would lovee tto return in another season. Thank you very much for everything.

We chose the seasonal activity “YATAI to FARM.” In the morning, we met at the farm, harvested our own vegetables, and the chef grilled them on a teppan right there. They also grilled pork outdoors with 15 different spices. The maitake risotto made with rice grown on-site was outstanding as well. From harvesting vegetables to the meal service, we were truly impressed by the chefs who cooked at a food stall just for us. Although there was occasional light rain, brunch surrounded by nature became an unforgettable memory. Highly recommended!

We escaped the lingering heat of the city and enjoyed an all-inclusive stay while breathing in the crisp, clear air. We had handmade pizza, plenty of sake, an Onsen, a massage chair—and even received a “Happy Birthday” gift. A wonderful way for a long-married couple to relax. We’d love to stay again. Thank you.

We stayed in a twin Room with a view of Sakurajima for a Multiple Night Stay. The Room was compact but had everything we needed, and we were able to relax comfortably. On the day of our stay, you kindly stored our luggage from the morning, which allowed us to head out for sightseeing around Sakurajima at a leisurely pace. When we returned to the Hotel, our luggage had already been brought up to our Room, which we really appreciated. The chicken rice for breakfast was very delicious. Combined with the calm and pleasant service from the staff who served it, it made for a wonderful breakfast time. The complimentary coffee was also excellent. The front desk staff were cheerful and welcoming as well. What made us happiest was, without question, the outstanding value for money. We also used early-bird and Multiple Night Stay discounts, but we were genuinely surprised that such high-quality service could be provided at this price point. My wife was also delighted and said, “It’s such a great Hotel—I’ve become a fan.” It turned into a wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

I stayed here on my first trip to Hokkaido in a while. I was extremely satisfied with the outstanding location, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the exceptional hospitality of everyone at the Hotel. The view from the open-air bath was also wonderful, and I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much.

We arrived before check-in, but we were kindly shown to our Room. The Room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities and seasonings. After check-out, we were given a ride to the station by car, which was very helpful. We would love to stay here again!

The Room was clean and well maintained. The bed height and firmness were perfect for me. There was only a shower, but it was an overhead-style shower and felt great. However, the adjacent Onsen Facility was unavailable that day due to a mechanical issue, which was disappointing. So I’d rate the bath 3 stars. I think this is a Hotel I’d be happy to stay at for a Multiple Night Stay.

As we expected to arrive later than planned, we called in advance to discuss dinner arrangements. Despite the short notice, they kindly arranged an outdoor barbecue for us, which was a huge help. The barbecue was excellent—especially the thick-cut meat and sausages. There is also a dog run, and the Onsen Facility you drive to is spacious and very clean. The dining hall is also reached by car. The meals were Western-style like at a Hotel and were delicious. The grounds are wide, lush with greenery, and open, so we could relax at ease. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast service was excellent, offering a variety of bread, yogurt, milk, juice, various beverages, soups, and even noodle soups—so many options to choose from. Although I only used the shower this time due to the season, the bathtub is designed deeper for those who want to soak and relax—a thoughtful touch appreciated by Japanese guests. The Wi-Fi connection was stable enough for me to work comfortably at the accommodation. The accommodation cost was also reasonable, and I would love to stay here again if I have work in this area.

A quiet countryside Accommodation in the satoyama hills. The owner is a former top-division sumo wrestler, Kenzan, and the property is decorated with many sumo photos and wrestlers’ handprints. In the open-air bath styled like a sumo ring, you can hear birds singing and enjoy a cool breeze through the trees—it’s wonderful.\n\nThe meals also use local ingredients and are very enjoyable. The rates are very reasonable as well. Highly recommended, and the hostess is warm and welcoming.

I stayed here to attend a festival and visit acquaintances. Since I arrived a bit early for check-in, I had to wait in the lobby, but the Room is on the first floor without needing an elevator, so it was stress-free. The Room air conditioner wasn’t on, and the heat when I entered was intense. The power turns on by inserting a long plastic stick attached to the key, so I wished there were a spare stick available. The large public bath was great—I could stretch out my legs and relax. There were even guests sleeping at the edge of the bath (lol). If you’re used to auto-locks, you might forget to lock the door, so be sure to check before going to sleep! When going out, I left my key at the front desk. Breakfast has a wide variety and is delicious—be careful not to overeat. All of the staff greeted me with wonderful smiles and provided pleasant service. I’d like to stay here again when I’m in the area.

I stayed here on a touring trip. The covered parking was greatly appreciated as a motorcyclist. Although the building is old, the large public bath felt clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous and made a very good impression. I would like to stay here again.
