At check-in, there was only one staff member, so I wondered if something was going on and whether everything was okay, but we received warm and attentive hospitality. We enjoyed rare local dishes such as salted grilled coho salmon and soba bean sprouts (absolutely delicious), and also tried painting kokeshi dolls while listening to a live Tsugaru shamisen performance (a wonderful souvenir), which let us fully experience the spirit of Aomori. The Onsen was at just the right temperature (slightly hot), warmed us through, and relieved our fatigue. It was all-inclusive, and we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks as well. Thank you very much.

The Room, baths, and meals were all wonderful. Both the in-room bath and the private Kashinoki-no-Yu Onsen were excellent. When I mentioned that the handle on the bath basket had come off, they responded immediately. As for the food, when I told them I have gout and can’t eat pork, they adjusted part of the meal. Every dish was delicious, and you could really tell how carefully everything was prepared. The soba was also great. All of the staff we spoke with in various situations were very pleasant, and it truly became a memorable trip. The view from the Room was amazing as well. There was a light mist over the mountains, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It rained at night, but that actually made it even more relaxing with the sound of rain—I didn’t feel disappointed at all even though it rained. The American who traveled with me was impressed by everything and happily said they will definitely come again! I rarely write a Review no matter how much I travel, but Tsuruya was truly outstanding. If you’re considering a trip to Gunma, this is an Accommodation I would highly recommend—so I decided to write this Review. Next time, I’d love to enjoy the winter scenery along with the Onsen and meals. We will definitely visit again! Thank you very much.

I visited here as a child, and this time I came back to my hometown and stayed with my son and my parents. The Hotel has been beautifully renovated, so it felt quite different, but I enjoyed the nostalgic kawara soba and visited the lounge for the first time. We were able to relax together as a family, and even with just one night we were completely satisfied. The bath in the Room was great, and the private open-air bath was also amazing. The meals were delicious as well, and I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

They were extremely kind. The next day, I tried to book a sightseeing taxi, but none were available and I was in trouble. A member of the Hotel staff kindly showed me around for half a day. Thank you so much. It may be rude to say this, but I was surprised to find such a wonderful Hotel in Oki.

We had been looking forward to our stay even before arriving. We stayed in a Room with a slide, and the kids were thrilled (an early elementary schooler and a 3-year-old). The Facility offerings were also excellent, so we had no trouble at all even with children (including a space where kids can play). They also organized a festival event inside the Hotel during our visit, and we joined that as well. All the staff were kind, and we felt their hospitality everywhere. The view from the rooftop terrace was wonderful (morning is recommended). During dinner, there was live music, and they included songs that children would enjoy, so it never got boring. Highly recommended for families with children. Of course, I think it would be a very satisfying stay for adults only as well. We will definitely return. Thank you very much for everything.

While looking for Kurokawa Onsen, I came across Yamazaki Ryokan. I stayed there during my visit, and it was an even more wonderful Accommodation than I had imagined. I would definitely like to stay again! - The Shuttle Service to and from the Kurokawa bus stop was available, which I really appreciated. - The building itself was very clean and well maintained, and housekeeping was thorough. It felt reassuring—like coming back to my family home—and I was able to relax in comfort. - All of the staff welcomed us with smiles at all times, and their service was truly outstanding. The warm, homey atmosphere throughout made it very pleasant. - During my stay, I could enjoy the Onsen anytime as much as I wanted, at whatever time suited me. It really helped soothe away my fatigue afterward. - Dinner was generous in portion size, each dish showed thoughtful creativity, and everything was genuinely delicious. - Breakfast also featured many carefully prepared dishes, and I was very satisfied. Overall, I could truly feel the staff’s hospitality throughout my stay and enjoyed a wonderfully luxurious time. If I have the chance to visit again, I would absolutely like to stay here.

Thank you for taking care of us for three nights. During our stay, we moved the car in and out many times to provide Shuttle Service for a friend, but thanks to the parking coupons you issued, we were able to use the car without any stress—thank you very much. We were impressed by the tower view from our upgraded Room, and we enjoyed breakfasts with different styles each morning. Thank you for your kindness from check-in to check-out.

This was my first stay here. The Room was clean, with a great view, and when I looked down from the open-air bath I could see the mountain railway tracks; when a train passed by, I could hear the clattering sound, which added to the atmosphere. However, it felt inconvenient that the bath and washbasin area were separate and required passing through the Room. I also wished there had been a shower hook at a lower height, and that the bathtub had been a bit larger. The meals were delicious, but the champagne we requested during meal preparation arrived late—only after several dishes had already been served—so if it was going to take time, I would have liked to be informed at the start. We also enjoyed having tea sweets in the Room as something to look forward to as souvenirs, but they weren’t available in the shop, which was disappointing.

Because I rarely have the chance to travel with family or close friends, I usually travel alone. Soaking in the Onsen helps me clear my mind. Enjoying delicious food is a true happiness. What’s more, Shin Tsuta brings me peace, so I return again and again. This is very important to me. The sense of calm and fulfillment I feel is thanks to the warmth and character of each and every member of your staff. That calm and fulfillment also makes me feel as if it restores my purity. When I get home, I already want to go back to Shin Tsuta—like when I was young, after seeing my sweetheart and returning to the dormitory, I immediately wanted to see them again.

With art subtly placed throughout and no crowd noise, it felt like relaxing in a private villa. The meals were excellent, and the yudofu at breakfast was especially comforting. Our Room came with an open-air bath and sauna, and it was spacious, easy to use, and simply the best. We would love to return.

We stayed for 1 night with 2 adults on a birthday trip for my partner. We chose the Plan with a private chef service, and a local island chef made sushi right in front of us. He was friendly and kind, so we could enjoy the meal while chatting—it was a truly special experience. The food tasted exceptional, the portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. After dinner, we had drinks at the Kura BAR. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, there is a great selection of soft drinks, so you can feel at ease. We tried drinks unique to Shodoshima, and they were delicious. The Accommodation’s Facility is not only spacious—every corner is stylish and beautiful, and you can really feel the owner’s attention to detail. There are four bedrooms; we couldn’t use them all with just two people, but we used two rooms—one for naps and one for sleeping at night. While our meal was being prepared, relaxing in the tatami room while listening to cicadas was simply perfect. The stone bath is also large. It takes about an hour to fill with hot water, but the owner filled it for us during dinner time—his kindness warmed our hearts as well. With the window open, a pleasant breeze came in through the bath area. The morning bath was wonderful too, with sunlight streaming in. It seems you’re allowed to harvest any vegetables from the garden field as well—we picked four tomatoes in the morning. They were crisp and tasty! The fruit prepared for breakfast was sweet too. Having breakfast while looking out at the garden was truly one of a kind. More than anything else, what made us glad we chose this Accommodation was the owner’s personality. Even during Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off he responded flexibly to our needs, which helped us so much. He is very knowledgeable; whenever we asked questions about the island he could answer anything. He laughed that “the birds will eat them,” referring to his vegetables—I felt he has such a calm nature (in a good way). He also took several commemorative photos for us—and he’s genuinely great at taking pictures! You can really sense his taste there too. In any case, he is incredibly kind and offers far more hospitality than I can possibly fit into one Review…! If I have another chance to visit Shodoshima, I would love to stay at Oyashiki Stay Sachi again. One night wasn’t enough—next time I hope we can stay two nights.

I searched for an Accommodation around Hommachi, Shinsaibashi, Sakaisuji-Hommachi, and Umeda. Because the Reviews were good, I stayed here—and it was absolutely the right choice. It was a stay between work commitments and I only needed a place to sleep, but the breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The staff at the breakfast venue were all energetic and wonderfully attentive. There were no unnecessary amenities in the Room, so it felt neat and uncluttered. The white-based interior was bright, and perhaps because the lines of the furniture were so clean and straight, it felt spacious. I saw in Reviews that some Rooms have better facilities than those on the top floor, so next time I’d like to stay in one of those. The only disappointing thing was at checkout: there were three front desk staff members there, but no one spoke to me or guided me (“This way, please”). There were no other guests either—so I wondered why. They may have been working on something, but it would have helped if someone had simply said “Please wait a moment.” Since there are many floors, I understand that waiting for the elevator is unavoidable. When I was waiting for the elevator at check-in, the mixed juice prepared in the dining area next to reception was very delicious.

Although we stayed for only one night, we were very satisfied. We were able to forget the hustle and bustle of the city, relax, and enjoy being surrounded by nature. The staff were wonderful, and it was an Accommodation we would like to visit again. Thank you very much.

My spouse and I stayed here as a couple. We chose this Hotel based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. It was in a great location for exploring Gion. The staff were kind and very helpful. My husband and I agreed that the breakfast was better than at any other Hotel. We wanted to eat more, but we were full and very satisfied. We were also happy to enjoy Ogawa Coffee’s coffee. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything!

The garden is wonderful, with many beautiful stones. The pond is very clean and filled with many koi. You can even feed the koi from your Room, which is adorable. The Room and meals are very satisfying.

We visited as a family of four, meeting up at Yamanashishi Station with our eldest son who lives in Tokyo and the three of us who drove from Kansai. As we got closer to the Accommodation, the country road shown by the navigation system made us think, “Could it really be this way?” and we struggled a little. If I had to mention any negatives from this trip, it would be that—and that the washbasin sink was black, so water marks were slightly noticeable after use. Upon arrival, we were surprised by how distinct and impressive it looked compared with its surroundings. We arrived about 30 minutes earlier than planned, but we were warmly welcomed and smoothly shown inside, which left a great first impression. The moment we opened the tasteful sliding entrance door set back from the gate, we were moved by the view stretching from the pine tree in the center courtyard all the way to the kura storehouse building across it. While preserving many historical elements—such as exterior walls, tiled roof, and pillars—the interior has been renovated into a clean and refined space that feels wonderful to spend time in. In both the audio room at the back where you can listen to records and the second-floor study stocked with everything from relatively recent Japanese literature to art books and foreign titles, there were chairs and ottomans in different styles arranged throughout. We were able to forget everyday life and relax at length. These spaces became favorites for my wife and daughter, who have a strong appreciation for music and art. My eldest son and I also used the sauna in the separate kura building across the courtyard before dinner. It’s available 24 hours; he enjoyed it late at night, while I went again after breakfast the next morning. In addition to a cold plunge bath there is also a regular bathtub; together with the indoor hinoki cypress bath in main building where you can fully stretch out your legs, there are two bathing options. Dinner and breakfast were served in another kura building on opposite side , featuring thoughtfully crafted dishes using plenty of local ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed everything—especially Koshu-style sukiyaki with beef and horse meat paired with three dipping sauces—alongside wine we picked up on our way there. After dinner we projected onto a large screen with projector held family drama viewing night for all four of us. We slept in bedroom where four beds could be lined up comfortably side by side. They even provided charging cables at each bedside equipped with three types of connectors—we were impressed by such attention to detail. Speaking of details: along with alcohol , refrigerator was stocked plenty chilled mineral water which was very helpful given season . There was also an assortment of nostalgic snacks card games insect-repellent items etc., showing both thoughtfulness playfulness. A location completely removed from noise spacious layout well-maintained Facilities lacking nothing an endlessly interesting interior blending old new perfectly—and being able enjoy all without interference as family four. It exceeded our expectations imagination. We’re glad chose this place for one those precious few times each year when whole family can gather . Thank you for your attentive hospitality .

This was my first time using IKYU. We decided on short notice to take an Onsen trip three days later (on a weekday), and an AI recommended IKYU, so I installed the app and searched. The last-minute deal that came up was an accommodation in Izu (Koyu-ro Ikawa). Let me say this upfront: I will definitely return. It was that wonderful. I believe it’s an older Ryokan that has been renovated, and I was truly impressed by the concept. It’s a triumph of spatial design. The entire building is kept softly dim, with skillful lighting creating a luxurious atmosphere, and carefully selected sofas placed in the lobby. Together, these elements gently conceal the age of the building and create a gorgeous space where you can completely relax. It was also clear that every service and facility—such as welcome drinks and the after-meal dessert buffet—has been thoughtfully planned and provided. What I especially want to highlight is the private open-air bath in a separate annex on the first floor. You can soak in an indescribably wonderful space, and that time left a powerful impression on me. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. There is only one thing I regret: while almost all staff were perfect (100/100), when we arrived about an hour before check-in at 3:00 p.m., the young female staff member who came out from the back to assist us at reception was extremely disappointing. Her language wasn’t polite, and it made me feel as if we were being pushed out of the property. We pulled ourselves together and returned before 3:00 p.m., but everyone else was outstanding.

I arrived 30 minutes early, and I really appreciated you opening up for me, especially since it was raining due to the typhoon. Thank you as well for accommodating my allergies. The property is barrier-free, so I was able to get around easily in a wheelchair. There was also an Onsen in the Room that I could use 24 hours a day, which allowed me to relax and enjoy it at my own pace. All of the staff were kind, and everything was excellent. We stayed here for a family celebration. Although we arrived much later than planned, you responded quickly and prepared our meal without delay. The Room was very spacious and clean, and we had a very comfortable stay! The bath and sauna were also excellent! The food was delicious! When we contacted you about breakfast, you came right away.
