The Onsen was crowded, but it felt wonderful. There were also various L’Oréal oils available, which was a nice touch when blow-drying. The Room felt clean. The window blinds wouldn’t fully close to the bottom, so the morning sun was a bit bright at bed level, but overall it was a convenient Hotel with great access for getting around and sightseeing.

The Hotel had a calm, modern Japanese-style atmosphere throughout. The view from the window was beautiful, overlooking the Nagara River and Gifu Castle. The scenery from the large public bath on the 8th floor was also spectacular. I really enjoyed breakfast, with fun and delicious options like comparing different types of rice and making my own furikake seasoning. For dinner, I chose in-Room dining, so I could eat at a relaxed pace. The only disappointment was that the tempura in the Shokado bento had gone cold, but that’s understandable for a boxed meal. All of the staff were polite, and I had a wonderful stay.

Everything—from the service and the Hotel’s interior design to the teppanyaki and even the smallest details in the guest room—was perfect. It was a truly moving and wonderful stay.

We stayed for 1 night with 2 adults on a birthday trip for my partner. We chose the Plan with a private chef service, and a local island chef made sushi right in front of us. He was friendly and kind, so we could enjoy the meal while chatting—it was a truly special experience. The food tasted exceptional, the portions were generous, and we were very satisfied. After dinner, we had drinks at the Kura BAR. Even if you don’t drink alcohol, there is a great selection of soft drinks, so you can feel at ease. We tried drinks unique to Shodoshima, and they were delicious. The Accommodation’s Facility is not only spacious—every corner is stylish and beautiful, and you can really feel the owner’s attention to detail. There are four bedrooms; we couldn’t use them all with just two people, but we used two rooms—one for naps and one for sleeping at night. While our meal was being prepared, relaxing in the tatami room while listening to cicadas was simply perfect. The stone bath is also large. It takes about an hour to fill with hot water, but the owner filled it for us during dinner time—his kindness warmed our hearts as well. With the window open, a pleasant breeze came in through the bath area. The morning bath was wonderful too, with sunlight streaming in. It seems you’re allowed to harvest any vegetables from the garden field as well—we picked four tomatoes in the morning. They were crisp and tasty! The fruit prepared for breakfast was sweet too. Having breakfast while looking out at the garden was truly one of a kind. More than anything else, what made us glad we chose this Accommodation was the owner’s personality. Even during Shuttle Service pickup/drop-off he responded flexibly to our needs, which helped us so much. He is very knowledgeable; whenever we asked questions about the island he could answer anything. He laughed that “the birds will eat them,” referring to his vegetables—I felt he has such a calm nature (in a good way). He also took several commemorative photos for us—and he’s genuinely great at taking pictures! You can really sense his taste there too. In any case, he is incredibly kind and offers far more hospitality than I can possibly fit into one Review…! If I have another chance to visit Shodoshima, I would love to stay at Oyashiki Stay Sachi again. One night wasn’t enough—next time I hope we can stay two nights.

We stayed for one night during our summer vacation trip. We came mainly for the pool, but there were so many events and fun activities for kids throughout the property that one night was nowhere near enough! Everyone was so kind to our children, and they were very happy—they keep saying they want to come back again (lol). When we visit Awaji Island again, we would love to stay here again!!

Whenever I visit Kyoto, I always stay at this Hotel. I’ve lost count of how many times it’s been. Once again, the consistently warm hospitality allowed me to spend a truly relaxing time. The only disappointment was that parking is now charged. I suppose it was surprising that it had been free for guests in that location until now (laugh), and I really appreciated it. I know it may be difficult, but I can’t help hoping it might come back again someday. Thank you again for taking such good care of me this time as well. Thank you.

I have stayed here several times on my own in the past, and my two daughters always said they wanted to visit whenever I showed them the photos. This time, I stayed here with both of them. The Room was spacious enough even with an extra bed, and even with three of us, having three mirrors meant getting ready was stress-free. Breakfast is always truly delicious. I come here when I want to spend some quiet time alone, so next time I will visit again by myself.

We visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had dinner at the Hotel’s Chinese restaurant. We did not mention our anniversary when making the Reservation, but the Hotel staff informed the restaurant, and they prepared an anniversary plate for us. The food was also excellent. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well, with a wide variety of options, and we were very satisfied. We also used the pool and fully enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

My monthly staycation is usually at a Hotel in my local Minato Mirai area, but this time I went a bit farther to Hotel Indigo Gora. I drove there alone, and the winding mountain roads in Hakone were a little tiring. I arrived before check-in and planned to relax at the footbath, but as soon as I parked in the outdoor lot in front of the Hotel, a staff member came right away and helped with my luggage. The welcome drink and Umaibo snack were a nice touch, and being able to check in comfortably while seated is one of those pleasures you expect from a Hotel of this class. When I entered my Room with the staff’s guidance, I couldn’t help saying, “Beautiful!” out loud. It’s a compact Hotel with around 100 rooms, but the Japanese-modern design—combining a raised tatami area with beds—was truly charming. I usually prefer modern Hotels, but this stay reminded me how calming and appealing Japanese-modern style can be. For dinner, I ordered à la carte at the on-site restaurant. The shrimp, scallops, and abalone in the bouillabaisse were surprisingly tender; the burrata was rich and paired perfectly with tomato and basil. The white wine went down easily. Since I don’t eat much, I also appreciated having à la carte options instead of only set courses. The bath in my Room was spacious, and I was able to fully enjoy the Onsen at leisure. The breakfast buffet also impressed me in both variety and quality—especially the green beans dressed with sesame sauce, which tasted far better than anything I could make at home. Even as someone who eats lightly (and can be picky), it was more than satisfying. The hospitality from everyone on staff was excellent, and the entire property was beautiful and comfortable. It was a wonderful Hotel that made me want to return again.

The Wi‑Fi was easy to connect to, and I was satisfied that the TV included BS channels. The front desk staff were helpful, and after completing the parking procedure, I could come and go freely, which was very convenient.

Some areas inside the Hotel felt a bit dated. This is a matter of preference, but I wished there had been a pleasant fragrance throughout the Hotel. In the club lounge, the group next to us got into an argument, which was distracting and spoiled the atmosphere, which was disappointing. It seemed to be the same group, but I also hoped they would be more considerate about wearing strong perfume in the dining area.

There is a large public bath, and I was able to relax and enjoy it. I stayed in a Room with twin beds, and it was clean and comfortable. Above all, the breakfast was excellent—there was a wide variety of dishes, and I could choose whatever I liked. I’ve stayed at many Hotels, and I think this one is top-level. If I had to mention one thing, the twin Room may be limited by design, but it would have been nice to have a slightly larger desk.

They kindly and courteously assisted us from check-in, including guidance to the parking area, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful stay. The interior atmosphere also suited the quiet streetscape of Gion Yasaka-dori, which was great. Just one thing... I was only concerned that water overflowing from the bathtub quickly flowed out into the vanity area outside the bathroom. I would definitely like to stay again.

Thank you very much for such a comfortable stay. The Room was extremely user-friendly, and I was especially impressed by the spacious sofa set along the window. Being able to relax while enjoying the Tokyo view or have a drink there meant there was a comfortable place to spend time besides the bed, and I truly enjoyed simply being in the Room. It felt more like spending time in a living room than staying in a Hotel Room. Combined with the view from the high floor, it was a wonderfully cozy space. The bed was also generously sized and very comfortable, allowing me to rest well until morning. What left the strongest impression this time was the Club InterContinental Lounge. The seating had an unusually generous amount of space between tables for a Tokyo Hotel, so I could spend time there in a very calm atmosphere. During cocktail time as well, rather than simply offering more food, it was thoughtfully arranged so guests could enjoy an unhurried evening with a cold tapas buffet, made-to-order hot tapas, champagne, and cocktails. In particular, I remember how properly crafted cocktails were delivered to my seat; that original cocktails such as the Saketini were available; and that when my glass of Moët & Chandon started running low, staff kindly asked “Shall I bring you another?” before I even needed to request it. When people think of lounges they often focus on the variety of food and drinks, but what I found most appealing here was that the staff’s attention truly reached each guest, allowing everyone to enjoy a peaceful time. In addition, while Facilities such as the pool, restaurants, and lounge were all available within the property, each area still felt spacious enough that even spending an entire day inside the Hotel never felt cramped. After using the pool I also had French onion gratin soup in my Room; it was perfect for warming up after getting chilled in the water, and I appreciated being able to make good use of my Hotel credit as well. I could also enjoy breakfast at leisure until later hours in the club lounge. Along with both Japanese breakfast options and buffet items—and unexpectedly receiving one of the chef’s signature dishes—everything was delicious and became a wonderful memory. I felt that one of this Hotel’s greatest strengths is having everything you need readily available while still being able to use it freely at your own pace. This stay made it one of those Hotels I would happily return to again whenever timing works out. Thank you very much to all of your staff.

We stayed for a one-night, two-day getaway as a couple. Travel memories are shaped by many things—weather, delicious food, scenery—but also by the connections you make along the way. On the day we arrived, we walked over 20,000 steps in humid weather before reaching the Hotel. The front desk staff’s warm smile was wonderful. We were able to relax and enjoy a comfortable evening. Of course, breakfast was great too. Thank you! Thank you for such a wonderful time!

I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, but this was the first one that felt absolutely flawless! I fell in love at first sight with the stunning rock bath scenery on YouTube and made a Reservation for the Yoimachi Room. The open-air bath was spacious, and the view from it was so breathtaking it nearly brought me to tears. The hot spring water was silky-smooth, and my skin felt amazing! The food was also delicious, and even the rice tasted exceptional. The nikujaga served at breakfast was so good that I’d love to ask—if you don’t mind—whether the soy sauce you use is light soy sauce or a type used mainly in Kyushu. The Room was wonderfully quiet as well, and I could truly relax. I definitely want to come back for a special occasion. Next year, I’ll visit one of your sister properties too.

I stayed here for a live concert trip. The Room was spacious and clean, and I was able to relax comfortably. I really appreciated having an air purifier in the Room. The pajamas were comfortable as well. The staff were kind, and I was happy that the breakfast was delicious, so if I visit Kagawa again, I would definitely like to stay here again. It was only a one-night stay, but the front desk staff were very polite and kind. The Room was on the 36th floor, with a great location and high ceilings—excellent overall. If I had to mention one thing, it was disappointing that only the toilet washlet felt outdated. The breakfast selection wasn’t very extensive, but the fresh salad was delicious. When leaving, the staff kindly helped arrange a taxi, which was very helpful. If I have another chance to visit Sendai, I will stay here again.

The freshly baked breakfast bread was incredibly delicious, and I had seconds many times. They kept baking more, so even when it ran out, I could quickly enjoy freshly baked bread again. I’m giving 4 stars because the Room was a bit small and there was only one hair dryer in the bathroom. Otherwise, I was satisfied. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a parent and child for my son’s university entrance exams. ■ Warm hospitality for exam takers At check-in, the staff asked, “Are you here for exams?” and gave us a small gift. My son, who was feeling nervous, seemed relieved by the thoughtful gesture, and I’m truly grateful as a parent. ■ Excellent amenities and a comfortable Room The amenity bar was well stocked—my son especially liked the bath salts and was able to relax. I also tried a face mask for the first time in my life! Even as an older guy (haha), it felt very refreshing after a bath. We were assigned a corner connecting Room, which allowed us to maintain privacy while still being close enough—making our stay extremely comfortable. ■ Great location It’s close to the station, with plenty of restaurants nearby, so we had no trouble at all even with a Plan without dinner. ■ A small suggestion for the future Winter in Matsumoto was drier than expected, so having hand cream among the amenities would make it even better! Thanks to the kindness of all the staff, my son was able to take his exam in great condition. We would definitely like to stay again when we visit Matsumoto. Thank you very much!
