We stayed one night (room only) in the premium two-story unit with a private dog run, with two dogs (one small and one medium). The interior was clean throughout. At first I wondered if the creaking floor was an issue, but it was only at the beginning and didn’t bother us after that. There are safety gates at the kitchen entrance and at the top of the stairs to the second floor, which gave us peace of mind. The indoor bath was clean as well, but we drove about 30 minutes to Futago-no-Yu at Michi-no-Eki Jōbon no Sato. It’s the only iron-containing chloride spring in the prefecture, and it warmed us up nicely. The private dog run had some areas with long grass, so we ended up not using it. The dog run near the beach was wide with neatly trimmed grass, and our dogs were thrilled to run around. There is parking right by the room, but with our one-box van it was a bit tricky when driving up out of the slope. Since there were no other guests, we were able to go up to turn around and come back down safely. At night it was quiet, and it was great being able to see the stars.

The hot spring bath with free-flowing source water was excellent. It would be nice to have air conditioning in the bath area. The meals were delicious.

This was my second stay since spring. It was during the Takayama Festival, when most other places were over 30,000 yen, but this place was consistently around 4,000 yen. It may be better described not as a hotel, but as a rest facility where you can also stay overnight. Or rather: it’s basically a public bathhouse, and if you need it, you can sleep here at a very low price. Futons are laid out in a large shared room and you sleep dormitory-style, so it may not suit light sleepers or those who are sensitive to noise. That said, the hot spring uses natural source water and there is also a sauna (unfortunately the open-air bath is no longer available). There’s also a good selection of manga to pass the time. Loungewear and towels can be rented for an additional fee if needed. I usually travel solo, eat dinner elsewhere, spend as much time sightseeing as possible until I’m exhausted, and then just sleep—so I like this place because it’s budget-friendly and easy to book. The staff at reception are friendly and pleasant too.

The hotel is within walking distance of Hakata Station, very convenient, and since it’s new, it’s extremely clean. The staff were also great—pleasant in a natural way without being overly friendly—which left a very good impression. The room setup and amenities were high quality, and I was satisfied. However, not having a closet in the room is tough. There is a place to hang clothes, but it’s extremely space-saving. It might be fine in summer, but in winter it fills up just by hanging a coat; with two people staying there wouldn’t be enough space at all, and for multiple nights it would feel unmanageable. Also, I’m not sure if all 18 m² rooms have the same layout, but having the shower booth immediately to the left as soon as you open the entrance door means you end up changing right by the door. It’s an unusual layout compared with other hotels I’ve stayed at. I always assumed you normally wouldn’t place a changing area directly in line with the entrance door. There’s no cover on the peephole; even if people can’t see in from outside under normal circumstances, you can’t say there’s absolutely no way to see through it. So if you use the shower booth, it may be safer to cover the peephole using something like the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. Is this designed on the assumption that guests will use the public bath? For those who don’t like public baths, this could be difficult. This time I stayed in a room with a balcony, and it felt open and very pleasant. However, there are three balcony rooms lined up side by side; even speaking at a normal volume on your balcony, you can hear voices from next door—so if your neighbors are drinking out there and getting loud/rowdy, I imagine it would be miserable. I stayed alone and was more than satisfied overall. But for two or more people, I probably wouldn’t choose an 18 m² room at minimum.

I stay here during my touring trips, and the property is gradually being renovated. I was delighted with the refrigerator, which was a type I had never seen before—large and super cold. The hotel's TV allows you to watch Sasebo Cable TV, so you can enjoy Sasebo's local programs. I've seen comments about the bath water overflowing into the bathroom, and I experienced it once. In such cases, I suggest keeping the bath plug vertical and draining the water slowly. Alternatively, there's a public bath about a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel near the arcade exit. It's a Showa retro-style bathhouse with a jacuzzi, and it's affordable, so you might consider using the public bath and just using the shower at the hotel. The front desk offers free disposable soap, shampoo, and conditioner. I've used this place many times, and I personally think rooms with overflowing bathrooms are rare. Also, the single room I stayed in didn't have any indirect lighting, so if that's important to you, you might want to bring some from a 100-yen shop or use the room's TV on mute as a substitute. Lastly, parking can be challenging for those with cars. The parking lot is narrow, so if you're not confident in your driving skills, I recommend parking just before or at the same time as check-in. Motorcycles, by the way, can park for free, which is a great help.

The room has a traditional style, but the tatami room was surprisingly comfortable to stay in.

We stayed here the night before a mountain hike. The place was very spacious, and the amenities were well stocked. There was also a convenience store just a short walk away, which was reassuring.

We stayed at the accommodation to visit udon restaurants with our family. Despite being during the Obon holiday, it was more affordable compared to others, and we decided immediately because of the price and the open-air bath. At night, we enjoyed the open-air bath, and in the morning, we used the large public bath—it was very nice. It was great that all five family members could stay in one room.

The staff provided very courteous service, making my stay pleasant. Located along the highway, it was convenient for accessing various destinations. I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay with my motorcycle, and I appreciated being allowed to park it near the entrance during rainy weather. There is also a convenience store nearby, which was very handy.

When I made a same-day accommodation reservation and set the check-in time for 11:00 PM, I called as I was likely to be about an hour late, and the response was excellent. Additionally, since my check-in was late, they extended the usual check-out time by an hour (check-out at 11:00 AM), allowing me to relax. I feel like I might stay here again next time. I also used APA Hotel during a business trip to Toyama, and they provided similar service. The room I stayed in seemed to be a corner room, and since the toilet/bathroom door opened to the left, it might have been easier if it opened to the right.

Other than the slightly inconvenient distance from Nagano Station, this is a convenient and good Hotel.
